Fantastic experience: I am always a bit nervous after some bad experiences elsewhere , but these dentists are always very warm, professional, great at their job and treat you like a person. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been at this NHS dentist care for years now under Mark. Mark is really good at what he does, he goes out of his way to help you and does the best he can. The reception team Elaine & Melanie are both really nice and get you the help when you need it. There is many other dental nurses who are outstanding at there job too, they all seem to care about what they do and put you at ease about works you need.

Fantastic experience: Easy to make an appointment and prompt professional service as usual. I dropped a denture repair off at 9-15am Monday and picked it up at 10-40am Tuesday. Excellent and thank you.

Fantastic experience: I started receiving treatments at DCO Dental Lakes Medical Centre since March 2019 where I was treated by Simon Cove. Due to COVID I had a huge break in my dental treatments and in In June last year I returned. I have been treated since June last year by Peter McDonald.where I had 2 separate treatments which were outstanding. 2 days ago we had a consultation for a forthcoming treatment. DCO Dental are extremely professional, their service and what is offered has and is the very best. This starts from their booking system, Elaine on their reception - and other receptionists, all staff and most of all, their after care. Peter McDonald is the most professional dentist I have visited. Highly recommended, 5 star plus and definitely worth putting this practice on your list. Fazila Sciberras

Negative experience: I came today for a 4pm emergency dental appointment because I've been in such misery regarding my gums and oral health for a month. The moment I went into the room the dentist seemed disinterested and had an attitude which made me feel even worse given I'd travelled so far just to put an end to my misery. She then scraped and poked around in my mouth like no dentist has ever done before causing so much bleeding and discomfort. She looked knackered, not at all professional, just an awful time. Her tone and demeanour was so off-putting and I came away still in pain but feeling awful. Please have a word with her!

Fantastic experience: Helpful receptionist got me in straight away even though my regular dentist was not on duty. Saw a lovely dentist called Luke, I had lost a filling and was going abroad. Luke fixed the problem for me straight away. I’m very nervous of the dentist but he put me at ease and explained everything step by step. I would 100% recommend this dentist. A lovely team all round. Fantastic experience: Mark is very good and does as much as he can to help with any dental problems. I had a gum issue and he saw me a week later to treat the problem and I was not even charged. A first class service, keep it up DCO Dental Team.

Negative experience: I had pain in one of my teeth and booked an appointment with Dr. Luke for the first time. I explained the issue to him, but he said to ignore this tooth and that he would treat my other teeth instead. I told him that the pain was bothering me now, but he insisted on leaving it for later. He said things like “I don’t know, leave it” and even suggested I go see another dentist. I was really upset by this response — it felt like my pain and dental issue didn’t matter to him at all. Another time, I visited him because my gums were swollen, red, and painful. Again, he gave me no medication, not even a painkiller. I reminded him again that my tooth was hurting, but he ignored it. Only after I insisted did he say he would refer me for an X-ray at another clinic, but no one ever called or followed up, and I never received any letter or further instruction. Later, I called the dental clinic again and requested to see a different dentist, explaining the situation. That’s when I saw Dr. Pete, who diagnosed my gums with a bacterial infection and an abscess. He prescribed antibiotics and truly helped me and referred me to the hospital (right place) I’m very thankful to Dr. Pete.He is a lovely person and kind and responsible and caring.

Fantastic experience: I had a niggling toothache on my wisdom tooth for a few weeks now i was in pain everytime I took a bite. I rang the emergency dentist and chose this place as they did earlies and I was off work anyway. I drove 50 mins to get there near enough the motorway. Has plenty of parking space. Receptionist was so nice and polite and I paid for my visit and was told to wait for the dentist. The dentist guy was relatively young and very knowledgeable you could tell he cared and he spoke softly and made me feel at ease and supported. Sorry if forgot your names guys I apologise for that I blame my age I am getting on ABIT lol I told him what was wrong and described what kind of pain I was going through. He x-rayed my mouth and also told me that the tooth in question was all but gone as in there is no coming back or restoring to it's good old days. He said it needs pulling out and I was given the option of keeping it or taking it out. As I was in constant pain for the past few years I just couldn't handle that pain for a day longer and told him I wanted it out to which he replied we can do that. Laid me down and gave me anaesthetic numbed the area and literally when ready he took it out painlessly and I literally felt like all my pains gone although I was still under anaesthetic in my mind I was ecstatic. He put a cloth in my mouth and asked me to sit outside for ten mins so my bleeding stopped and he was happy for me to be on my way, that showed he cared for his patients because normally other places they just do the job and say right we are done and off you go but here the standard of care was shown. He the dentist sat me down and gave me very good advice to which I will take on board as I am suffering from gum disease of years of smoking but I've quit got over two years now. Anyway just want to say what a credit the young dentist and his assistant were. So friendly and you can tell it's their passion to help patients. Gave me loads of confidence just by being in the room with them. Kept asking me if I was ok which was so good. Thank you once again guys and it was definitely worth the drive there. I'm in comfort now nomore pain and I will do everything to reverse my gum disease and maintain the rest of my teeths.

Fantastic experience: I attended DCO Dental for a hydro polish. The treatment was excellent, I can highly recommend it. Pete McDonald is a first class dentist. He is thorough, friendly and efficient. Elaine, the receptionist is lovely. Very pleasant and friendly.

Negative experience: i’ve been here twice first time was ok i guess but the second time was after i got attacked after being stamped on my head 4of my teeth broke they move and they are dying apparently, since i have already suffering trauma from a headbutt off my asd child that moved a tooth backwards already i was very scared and conscious to visit the dentist plus my mouth was sore for weeks after the attack the lady i seen as an emergency was really not very nice to me at all she gave me a dirty look and told me i should taken better care of my teeth (never had a problem before my teeth were always perfect ) she asked me to leave after saying there’s nothing she could do to help me and advised me to pay for a private dentist and that my teeth would fall out eventually anyway i am now too scared to get help and i don’t leave my house because im too embarrassed so thankyou very much to that women for making me feel even worse than i already did and for your impact on my mental health i hope you sleep well at night making abused people feel fantastic about themselves .

Fantastic experience: I visit dco dental practice an have for quite a few years now I've had 1 or 2 dental practitioners but have mark who has looked after me for a couple of years an now som family members an partner an cannot fault him on anything his treatments suggestions honesty everything absolute great dentist gentleman an hope to have him around for long time On to foning threw appointments are brilliant the reception do there dam hardest to accommodate you even thow ime an awkward sod with times an days due to my job but what a fantastic team there polite patient an loverly all of them I do have my favorites but I keep that to myself haha

Negative experience: I was experiencing severe pain and suspected a possible tooth infection. Following an examination, the dentist proceeded with an extraction of the affected tooth. I was already extremely stressed about having the procedure done, as dental extractions are an anxiety-inducing experience for me. Despite my concerns, I trusted that the dentist would carry out the extraction properly. During the procedure, I was given two sets of numbing injections, yet I was still in severe pain throughout. This level of pain should not have occurred, and I believe it reflects incompetence either in the administration of the anesthetic or in the technique used for the extraction. Despite this distressing experience, I was reassured that the tooth had been successfully removed, and I was given standard post-extraction advice to follow at home. I followed all the advice given to me, and the healing process initially seemed to be going well. However, on Tuesday, 28th January 2025—nine days after the procedure—I began experiencing severe pain again. The pain was unbearable, and I knew something was not right. Due to the intensity of the pain, I was forced to book another emergency dental appointment, this time with my regular dentist My dentist was immediately able to see that a significant portion of the tooth had been left behind—approximately one-third of the tooth remained embedded in my gum. Even with a quick visual inspection, it was clear that the previous extraction had been incomplete. An X-ray confirmed this finding. The fact that such a large fragment of the tooth was left behind, and that it was so easily identifiable, raises serious concerns about the standard of care I received at my initial appointment. It is unacceptable that this was not noticed at the time of extraction. To have gone through the extreme stress of a tooth extraction once was difficult enough. To then have to undergo the same experience again unnecessarily, due to an error, caused me significant additional stress, anxiety, and distress. The entire ordeal has been both physically and emotionally exhausting. As a result of this mistake, I have suffered unnecessary pain, stress, and financial loss. I was forced to pay for a second dental appointment to correct an issue that should never have occurred in the first place.

Fantastic experience: I had a routine check up appointment today with Pete McDonald. Also, a tooth extraction! Nothing to worry about really, only I had a massive adrenaline rush and nearly passed out! Pete was extremely kind and careful and made me feel calm and assured. Both he and his assistant, ( sorry, I didn’t catch her name ), were very attentive and friendly Recognition where recognition is due! Thank you

Fantastic experience: I went to the reception desk and showed them a crown which had dropped out. The receptionist consulted with the dental team and I was taken through to a dentist, all in the space of ten minutes. The dentist was able to re-cement the crown and I exited the premises about 20 minutes after entering it. I may have struck it lucky in finding an available dentist, but nevertheless it was excellent service from DCO Timperley . Peter Dawson

Fantastic experience: my wife and I have always been looked after very well at DCO the staff have always been helpful and very polite Aaron my dentist has always made things plane and tells you what he has to do and when its best to do it I have always felt safe with Aaron as he calms you down I'm an old man now and my wife is an old lady we could not of picked a better dentist! if you are looking for a good dental surgery my advice is go and talk to DCO Dental Group the car park is a problem if you can go by bus it stops outside the clinic or you could always go by taxi.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this dental practice via my own practice for an extraction. I was really nervous about it, I had an appointment last week to review what was happening and today I had the extraction. The local anaesthetic was painless and then down to the extraction - it came out no bother and no pain! I have transferred to this practice and I’m glad I did. The staff are spot on, explaining everything precisely and clearly. We had great dentists in the Army, I would say the dentists at this practice are on par with them. Brilliant service thank you.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional, shaking head when patient was reacting when tooth was hurting, shaking head at the patient behind him in the chair. Told the patient that the treatment would be hard to do on the day but after explaining that I was a dental nurse, told me this would be an easy treatment? Very contradicting!

Fantastic experience: I have been treated by Dr Simon Cove. The proposed treatment plan was developed with care and thought, and included consideration of my needs and priorities. I have a number of gaps at the Back that inhibit proper chewing. At my appointment yesterday Simon fitted 3 implant posts to which teeth will be fixed in a few months. The surgery was not straightforward as I have some narrow jawbone. He used great skill to place the implants. In the evening he called to check I was OK and I was able to tell him I had no pain or discomfort. I have a further check up next week. Simon has a friendly, professional manner which is mirrored by other staff in the practice, receptionists and assistants. The practice was recommended to me by a friend who is not easily impressed and I am grateful for his recommendatio, which I am happy to pass on to others.

Negative experience: This is the worst dental clinic in Manchester, my wife went for an extraction of her wisdom tooth and the dentist broke the tooth and couldnt extract it leaving her bleeding with half tooth inside, only to tell her she should go and look for a specialist they even chased her out of the clinic, until she fainted outside the door. They called an ambulance to take her to the general hospital where she was given antibiotics which this clinic could not provide. Please never go to this clinic because it's the worst clinic in Manchester. Well her name is Rabia Ajoub and she had the appointment on the 15th of April at 14.20 she was sent from the South Manchester dental hospital where she was given your your address, so she paid the consultation fee of 23.80 before she was operated after which she was taken by the ambulance to Peel Green Den clinic in Eccles where the dentist told her they couldn't do anything as the tooth was broken and that she need to see a specialist after paying the consultation andsurgery fee of 395 pounds for nothing not even antibiotics was given to her.

Positive experience: Went to DCO Timperley for the first time on the 5th of September. Really happy with the prompt service at the reception. I did not have to wait much and my dentist Pete's calm approach is really reassuring. My dentist and the dental nurse both professional, helpful and sympathetic. Pete is good at discussing options, explaining and discussing cost too to get to the best solution for me. Procedure was very easy and explained at every stage. Great staff, friendly and supportive.

Fantastic experience: I attended this practice today as an emergency patient, having had issues for months with a broken tooth and a fear of dentists. I was put at ease the moment I saw the dental nurse smiling and welcoming me into the surgery. The dentist was so calming and reassuring, together they made me feel so at ease. I can not thank you for all the care and concern you gave me, a total stranger. I just wish I could register with you, after about 20 years of not attending the dentist this speaks volumes about you and the practice. Thank you doesn't seem enough, but THANK YOU totally deserving of 5 stars.

Negative experience: F…..g s…t ! dentists are useless here in this country just like The GP paying £23.80 for the nothing jsut to prescribe painkillers…instead of resolving the problem . Came home with the same pain , “ dentist “ was not sure which Tooth causes the problem … and I’ll feel it soon which tooth it will be .. If is up to these dentist people can die of the pain … wish they had the same problem … Everything about money not helping on other people who are in pain … There isn’t point paying NI .

Fantastic experience: I was seen as an emergency patient. I am very anxious and they were lovely and professional. I was looked after by the medical team who were patient and understanding. I would go here again and only wish I could register with them as a permanent patient. Worth every star.

Fantastic experience: Came to this dentist on thursday after 4 years of not seeing a dentist after a traumatic visit to my own dentist i never went back, then covid came along ! I have a few bad teeth, the dentist i seen was so nice i was so scared i didnt even get his name , in the 15 minutes time slot he had i was numbed and my worst tooth was extracted he didnt judge! he didnt tell me off ! And now im out of pain on that side still more work to be done on my other side but need to be referred again for that im so greatful from the receptionist to leaving the dentist i was fully at ease , thank you to that man i seen EDIT: Had to return again for another extraction a week ago today and seen a lovely lady called catherine this time and she was just as nice a week later im pain free after 4 long years i cant thank mark and catherine enough xx

Fantastic experience: I have had fantastic support through a compacted wisdom tooth. The support, treatment and fitting me in was so helpful. I would say Mark and the team went above and beyond and although I've got procedures on the cards for the future I feel they have my best interests at heart. They also are great with my 2 kids.

Fantastic experience: I called today at 8am about a broken tooth and crown. I was given a 10.30 appointment. By 10.45 I had an X-ray, had the tooth removed and was on my way! Highly recommended

Negative experience: Went all the way there from Radcliffe and because we missed the junction we were 10 minutes late. Would not see us even though we had travelled so far and had waited since the day before for an emergency appointment. Left with bad tootheache and advised to contact the emergency dentist again. Not one person in the place and still they couldnt see me.

Fantastic experience: Cannot praise the dentists here enough! 2 quick appointments (31/12/20 & 2/1/21) with 0 problems and hassle. Talked through everything and the moment I mentioned I'm autistic with sensory issues I was conforted and supported every second of the way and talked through everything that was happening. I put the dentist off for 17+ years out of fears of a meltdown. I was unbelievably calm. I hope I never have to come back again (thanks to the root canal) but if I do there will be no worries from me. Flawless by the very definition. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: Having being passed from pillar to post with needing an emergency dental appointment through 111, I was thankfully given a next day appointment with this dental practice. Terrified I was greeted by the dental nurse who told me not to worry. Both the dental nurse and the dental practicioner were friendly, caring and reassuring! I had a broken wisdom tooth which was causing me agony, the whole process was swift and as simple as could be. They numbed it good and proper (that part was the worst!) So I didn't feel much when it was removed. Thankyou for the kind experience

Fantastic experience: Really good job by everyone involved. The dentist's had a seemingly difficult task at hand with a lot of different complications at play but solved it nonetheless! They also we're really nice people which really did make the whole experience a lot easier.

Fantastic experience: Been seen to by Simon Cove for about 8 years & he's patiently put up with my fear of dentists throughout. He's fixed 11yrs of problems from simple fillings to root canals, crowns & now an extraction. I've never had any problems with him, ever. He even saved a tooth when I first came to him that caused me so much pain in my face & neck - without extracting it. He did a root canal on it & all these years on it's still not causing me any problems at all. He's always very professional, wonderfully welcoming & thorough including the receptionists & assistants too. I've never had a problem with the waiting time either. I just arrive 10mins earlier to mentally prepare myself for work being done because I know when I go there he will get straight on it from a professionally constructed plan which he always communicates clearly and efficiently before hand. They make you feel comfortable & are always extremely hygienic, which is why I was confident (as far as COVID 19 is concerned) to go in today despite being classed as high risk. I couldn't recommend more & I'm forever grateful to this place. My whole family is very happy with every aspect of DCO dental. Highly recommend.

What an excellent guy and not only Fantastic Dentist Indeed!! I was simply amazed at how he performed my Root canal procedure and spent over 1 hour with me and worked very patiently with any difficulty that occurred during the time.. Also very aware of the fact that I'm a Cancer patient on Treatments currently! Very impressed n hats off to Sean.. I sincerely appreciate all he did for me and still will do next month in Feb now.. Looking forward to seeing him again soon.. I even told my brother the whole situation at my appointment last week as he's also a very professional dental surgeon .. I have full confidence in Mark and my husband, who had not visited a dentist for many years because of an inherent fear from childhood, has no qualms whatsoever in attending when his appointment comes round. Between us we have experienced a gamut of treatments, including, Invisalign, Boutique Whitening, extractions, root canal, dentures, crowns and fillings. I also regularly visit the Hygiene Therapist, Shelly, who I also cannot praise highly enough for her affable demeanour. Head Receptionis,t Elaine, is always very welcoming and as accommodating as possible where appointments are concerned.
