Negative experience: Waiting time is to see the Dentist is not acceptable. No update from anyone as it’s normal for all. The dentist service is acceptable but not any special. The place is not as clean as it should be as a clinic.

Negative experience: It wasn’t a good experience; The male receptionist was very rude and disappointing with a lack of manners and professionalism. I have seen many reviews where other patients have experienced the same from him. The practice should acknowledge this issue. However, the dentist and male nurse were helpful.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited East Side Dental Practice due to a week of persistent gum bleeding and increasing discomfort. From the moment I arrived, the level of care and professionalism was truly exceptional. Kazi, the receptionist, was incredibly humble and attentive. He sincerely listened to my concerns and immediately arranged an emergency appointment without hesitation—his empathy and efficiency made me feel genuinely cared for. Dr. Banu,welcomed me with kindness and patience. She took the time to understand my symptoms thoroughly and supervised the hygiene procedure with compassion. I was visibly panicked seeing so much blood, but her calm reassurance and empathetic words—telling me everything would improve with proper care—helped me feel at ease. The hygiene cleaning was performed by Yeasin, who had the gentlest hands. Throughout the entire process, he continuously checked on my comfort and made sure I felt relaxed. His considerate approach turned what could’ve been a stressful experience into a very reassuring one. Overall, I am beyond happy with the treatment I received. The entire team—from reception to treatment—was caring, professional, and attentive. I have now decided to become a permanent patient at this practice and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking not just dental care, but genuine patient care. A heartfelt thank you to Kazi, Dr. Banu, and Yeasin—you’ve truly set the standard for excellent service.

Negative experience: Receptionist, Bangali men with beard is rude, I think they have a family run practice here and all of them are rude except for grace. Grace is an amazing, caring and good Dentist. If it wasn’t for her, we would’ve left this surgery. I should report to north & east London Dentist authority.

Negative experience: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.. PLENTY OF BETTER DENTISTS OUT THERE. I don’t know what sort of a dentistry this is but they are very unprofessional and very rude. I believe there’s only two dentists in that place and the one who’s in charge is an Eastern European lady who I had the initial appointment with and as a new patient it was a check up first appointment.. at the check up appointment I explained to the lady that I had root canal done at Guy’s hospital and they told me to tell my own dentist that.. I quote word for word “we have done the first stage root canal and now you have to get your own dentist to fit the crown in” this was exactly what I told the lady at east side dentist.. she than told me that the root canal isn’t complete and we don’t do tooth 7 crown (3 times in all she told me she didn’t do tooth 7 crown.. every conversation was recorded as I didn’t trust any dentist after what happened to me) but what I can do is refer you to an NHS dentist who’ll do the tooth 7 crown.. at that I told her that it’s ok I’ll find someone on my own and left.. once out of the building I phoned Guys Hospital and told them what had happened.. the person told me that you must’ve went to a private dentist.. I told him no it says NHS on there board hence I went there... at that he told me they shouldn’t have sent me away and asked me to go back their and get that lady dentist to write up a note saying what she told me.. instead of going there I called and spoke to the receptionist and asked her if she could ask the dentist to do a note for me saying she doesn’t do tooth 7 crown.. surprise surprise after liaising with the dentist she told me to come back the next day at 2:30pm appointment.. By the way i Was told when joining that to get an earliest appointment it’s a months wait (I believed that she thought I wouldn’t take it further). Went back the next day.. the dentist now tells me that she does do tooth 7 crown that she doesn’t do the 2nd stage completion of the root canal.. I was shocked at what I was hearing.. I told Excuse me this not what you told me you clearly stated that you do not do tooth 7 crown and that you’d refer me to an NHS dentist who does not once but 3 times in all you repeated that and now you have an appointment straightaway wanting to fix my teeth.. basically she was adamant that she didn’t say that to me hence indirectly calling me a liar.. because of her attitude towards me I declined to be seen by her and told her that everything she told me was recorded.. at that she got agitated and started say “you are rude” and was getting angry at me.. the two ladies at the reception saw everything and they told me to calm down (as I was getting frustrated myself) that they’ll get the manager to call me.. I left at that. After a while I received a call from the manager.. I told her exactly what had happened.. she was very apologetic and understanding.. she told me that I could go back and be seen there again at which I politely declined because of the treatment I received and thanked her for getting back to me. I called Guy’s hospital again told them what I went through with east side dentist and asked them to help me.. the lady I spoke to told me to go back to that dentist and ask them to give me a referral letter in order for them (Guy’s hospital) to fast track me to get my teeth fixed. I spoke to the manager again and told about the referral but if possible if I could be seen by a different dentist than the volatile person I saw initially. I was given an appointment next day (Thursday 9th of May) to have an X-ray and get the referral nothing else. went to the appointment and the next lady dentist who saw me started asking me personal questions about my personal life.. asking me if I worked where I worked.. where do I live.. told her her I live in Bow.. she says why did you come to this dentist all the way from Bow? telling me if I knew how many dentists I have crossed before coming to this one.. very rude and unprofessional dentists in this place.. I feel sorry for the nicely spoken manager.

Fantastic experience: I had my invisalign program at this practice with the dentist Sabrina Hussain. She did an absolute great job! Really patient and gentle, she listened to the aims I had, took a lot of time checking in with me and seeing how my teeth were progressing at every check up appointment, never rushing. It felt like she really cared and wanted me to get the best results. My course just finished and I’m so pleased with the results!! My teeth are really straight now and look so much better, couldn’t be happier :), highly recommend the dentist.

Negative experience: So tried to call today as Salmon lane dentist is closed and they referred to Eastside dental Practice. Got through to reception and explained i was a patient at salmon lane and need an appointment but was told that i need to call tomorrow as i was not on the list (Didn't give my name at all) asked for my name and gave it but they just said call tomorrow. It seems they are rejecting to see people. PLEASE ADVOID will make a complaint.

Fantastic experience: Grace is an amazing dentist. She did a crown for me last year and the treatment was amazing as well as service and advice from her. She always sees my children and treats them like her own she always gives quick treatments to prevent decay and great advice! Great service from the dentist overall and quick completion of paperwork when needed. Would highly recommend

Negative experience: Hanged up on me when I questioned him about giving me an appointment on Monday, rude, lazy, whoever answered the phone on a Saturday. Clearly does not want to be there, terrible customer service.

Fantastic experience: I come here regularly for hygienist appointments. My regular dentist is currently located elsewhere but I am considering moving dentists to this practice. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The hygienist clean is one of the better cleans I've had - I currently have adult braces and I always come away feeling as though my teeth have been cleaned really well.

Fantastic experience: Recently had a dental clean and polish, the best ever!! Well worth the 75 quid. Shaeda and Yaseen were both excellent in their practice and professionalism as was the receptionist. I've seen Dr Banu here too and she was also very good. It's unusual to have such a good experience in health care in recent years so when we do receive good treatment we should shout about it!!
