Fantastic experience: First class service for admin, dental care and hygienist.

Negative experience: Very disappointed Dr Barnfather did not mention he was leaving. Very poor. Have been with the practice over 50 years so expected better.

Negative experience: I wouldn’t really award any stars whatsoever. They completely overcharge patients and suggest treatments that are not necessarily needed. I’ve noticed there’s a high turnover of staff. The best interests of patients is definitely not at the heart of how this business operates. Avoid this practice and find one that cares about their patients and staff.

Negative experience: Have been a patient since 1988 - this is sadly not the practice is used to be. They fail to offer many basic services, and appear to only cater to patients that undertake cosmetic procedures at their practice. Terrible customer service at reception, no detailed invoices and no follow on care.

Fantastic experience: South Park Dental Practice is a lovely practice. From the reception staff to the hygienists and dentists, they are all extremely friendly and helpful. My dentist, Mr Barnfather, in particular, is so very kind and explains everything he is doing when giving me treatment and why the treatment needs to be carried out. For someone who has always been a very nervous patient, this means a lot. I used to be terrified of going to the dentist but now it doesn't bother me. Not saying I don't still get nervous once in the chair, but I know I will be fine. They are always there for you too in an emergency and will try and fit you in as soon as possible. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Kit Barnfather is an excellent dentist, the best. I and my whole family are so lucky to have had him as our dentist for 20 years. He's up to date with the latest research, teaches dental students, explains everything fully to us. He's just dealt with my impacted wisdom tooth, getting me seen quickly and reassuring me so I can go ahead with elective hip surgery. He cares, a rare thing these days.

Fantastic experience: The practice was recommended to me by my partner who had nothing but praise for them and in particular Kit Barnfather. I hadn't been to a dentist for 5 years following a nasty experience at my previous dentists and due to the shut down during the pandemic plus lack of NHS dentistry. I was extremely nervous when I made an appointment here however, everyone was so friendly, understanding and kind I was made to feel at ease. Kit was very gentle and explained everything he was doing, reassuring me throughout and giving me the opportunity to stop at any time but this wasn't necessary as even though I've needed 4 appointments to restore my teeth, the procedures have been totally pain free. I can't recommend them highly enough.

All handled extremely efficiently and as pain free as possible. I have a dental plan with the practice, which includes 2 dentist & 2 hygienist visits a year. I find the monthly payments extremely reasonable.
