Fantastic experience: The way you are treated here is excellent, both in-terms if dental treatment and as a customer. The staff are fantastic - they go out of their way to make you feel valued. The practice sends you appointment reminders with can be automatically added to your diary. The dentist is wonderful, she explains the situation, recommended treatments and options very clearly, and so obviously has her patients well being at heart. I feel that we ‘lucked out’ finding this dental practice,

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Sofia and Lena enough for their incredible care. As someone who’s always been a very nervous patient, I usually dread dental visits—but from the moment I walked in, they made me feel completely at ease. Both were so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Their calm and reassuring approach helped melt away some of my anxiety. Highly recommend them to anyone, especially if you’re a bit nervous like me!

Negative experience: It is worth to mention that Sofia Islam, with over 30 years experience, as she claims, didn't recognise root canal issue to gum infection, which demands totally defferent treatment. I can't found my original review, posted here spring 2025. Would like to add that customer service and dealing with complaints by Iris definitely desired to be improved. However it is difficult to make a complaint as S.Islam is a manager of this practice. Perhaps this practice should be looked at by BBC watchdog or other professional bodies. Kind regards

Positive experience: Not too impressed with this clinic tbh Had a filling I did not need fall out twice. Then told 2 of my fillings need be redone (which have been fine for years) and that one of them could still need a tooth extraction as its in a tricky area. Lol no thanks what is the point when its not causing me any issues??? Expensive, poor customer service and hard to make an appointment here they dont even bother to contact patients to make a routine appointmenti (was told the onus is on the patient) Nothing like my previous practice who would always send texts as reminders.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this Practice and I have to say a very welcoming and professional experience The actual dental procedure baffled me in so far as it was painless and quick I couldn’t believe how such a great result was achieved in such little time. Negative experience: - Around 1500 hrs 6.1.2025 Very bad experience. I have an appointment on 6.1.2025 1230 hrs. I made a few calls on 3.1.2025 on Friday afternoon to cancel it or rearrange it. But no one picked up my call and I left a voicemail. I noticed that they called my wife’s number afterward but she was working so were unable to call back during weekend. I made a call again on 6.1.2025 in the morning within the working hours. Of course no one picked up my call and I left a voicemail again for rearrangement. Then my wife got their sms and said I failed to attend. So I called since 1430 hrs at the same day, for more than at least 10 times, eventually one of the picked up my called. I thought I made it clear I have had tried to make an arrangement 48 hours before my appointment. And I thought I only had to rearrange the other date for my appointment. But she asked me to deposit £35 again!!! She mentioned I haven’t said ‘Cancelled’ in my voicemail. At that moment I immediately pissed off!!! I wanna rearrange it because I couldn’t attend it!! Their dentists service is good, but the reception always has a problem. Please train your staff to pick up any call quicker or train them to listen the voicemail precisely! I just pissed off and hang up, because they not only not refund it to me but also try charge me more! Lower than 1 star!!!! - Around 2000 hrs, 6.1.2025, I replied their email Dear Dr. Islam, Thank you for your email, which you managed to send to my son’s email address instead of mine—a mistake that seems to reflect the consistent lack of attention to detail I’ve experienced at your clinic. It is deeply concerning that, instead of addressing the shortcomings of your staff and their handling of my case, you’ve chosen to remove my entire family from your NHS list. Congratulations on offering other patients the same chance to experience the frustrations I’ve endured. Let me remind you once again: I left a polite voicemail on 3.1.2025, 48 hours before my original appointment, requesting a rearrangement. I followed up with another voicemail during your opening hours on 6.1.2025. Despite this, no one responded appropriately, and I was left calling your clinic more than ten times that afternoon before finally speaking to a receptionist who demanded an additional £35 deposit, citing that I hadn’t explicitly used the word “cancel.” Frankly, it is absurd that my clear request for a rearrangement was twisted into an excuse for additional charges. Yes, I expressed frustration during our final conversation and used a regrettable word (Fuxk it) before ending the call. However, after countless attempts to contact your clinic and being met with ineptitude and unwarranted charges, I believe my reaction was justified. If protecting your staff means ignoring their errors and blaming patients instead, it’s no surprise that I, and perhaps others, would reach a breaking point. I challenge you to listen to my voicemail from 3.1.2025. If my polite request for rearrangement is as clear as I remember, I expect an immediate refund of the £35 and an acknowledgment of your staff’s failure to handle this matter competently. If you believe your policy justifies this decision, then I suggest using the £35 to fund staff training or mental health resources for anyone else unfortunate enough to navigate your clinic’s chaotic communication practices. I trust this will be my last interaction with your clinic. Good luck retaining patients with this level of service.

Fantastic experience: I have unfortunately had a few teeth out in the past. I have never been able to go to a dentist and have an extraction, always had to be referred to the hospital to be put to sleep. But today for the first time I had it done inside the dentist and wow Sofia was incredible. She made me feel so relaxed and at ease, took time with me because I was panicking so much to start with. Sofia and her assistant were 10/10 and I would recommend anyone to this dentist. Thank you for being so lovely and kind, quick and efficient. Xx

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the Dentist for years due to the fact that I have a terrible phobia well if I’m honest I’m absolutely petrified! When I got there Lena the receptionist could see how nervous and anxious I was but she managed to keep me calm. I saw the dentist Sophia who was amazing, she was so kind and caring and really understood how I felt and put me at ease. I was so impressed at how friendly and kind they all were there at Camberley Dental Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I have an irrational fear of the dentist, my dentist Sofia , is just so good with me, her sense of humour and directness puts me at ease immediately. Non judgemental, gentle and professionalism got the job done without to much distress from me. I would highly recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: I have been trying to get an appointment for more than a month now. Initially I registered as NHS patient due to maternity after that had a private appointment and now back to NHS patient. Called to ask if they were taking NHS patients to register my daughter as well, lady at reception said yes, asked to book an apt for myself also as NHS she said she was going to book apt anyway but needed to clarify with dentist and she would call back. Appointment was on 12th September, she has not called. I called the surgery, emailed and got a reply saying same thing she was going to speak with dentist and get back to me. Never did!! I missed the appointment as she hasn't said anything, emailed again no answer. Called again, no answer left voice message because it is just really not good practice to ignore your patients still no answer. Terrible terrible customer service. Nothing against the actual dentists they were actually good, the receptionist is the worst she just really does not care about the customers Not only I am registered as I have the emails that prove what I am saying. Happy to publish these.

Negative experience: Sofia Islam has been my dentist for a couple of years and she has treated me professionally and considerately. She is also very friendly which helps to put me at ease. So when she asked me to see the hygienist I had no qualms. However, I could not have been more disappointed. From the very start of her treatment I was frequently experiencing pain because of her rough treatment. Sharp instruments were pressed into my gums, and they were also rubbed across my gums as though she wanted to deliberately give me severe discomfort. I should have asked her to stop, but I kept thinking the treatment would come to an end soon, but she seemed determined to use up all the allotted time. I’ve had fillings that have caused less pain! So there is no confusion her name is Rabia Burke.

Fantastic experience: I had my second appointment today and I can honestly say it's so refreshing and comforting to go somewhere for treatment where the staff really care about you as a person not just a patient. I am a very nervous patient who needs a lot of help with their dental issues but finds it really challenging. But from the moment I step into Camberley Dental, the friendly faces and helpful receptionists make you feel so looked after and the dentist and the nurse assisting were just as kind, clear and professional and couldn't do more to help me work out the best way forward and help support me whole the necessary work is done. Fantastic experience: I have a good proportion of my confidence back! Lena the receptionist is lovely, helpful and most importantly has a calm presence. Sofia is such a lovely dentist and again, brings a real sense of calmness to the situation. A brilliant dentist!

Negative experience: Bad dentist. Do not even think about going here unless you like to be left in pain! I had Sofia Islam and she was super nice on my first visit, but not for long. She had promised she could help me with my teeth which aren’t great and I had my trust into her. On my first appointment to start my treatment she had given me a filling, this lasted a week..next appointment had a few more and they looked really bad and not done correctly. I was also given a root canal which took the best part of 10 minutes? Previous ones have taken around 45 mins and the procedure was not something I’ve seen before, just a long sharp needle being thrusted down my tooth, no cleaning/removal of the root?? During this I was in excruciating pain and having asked to stopped she carried on, left me on the chair in tears and I’m a full grown man! I may also add that after the tooth where she’d done the supposed root canal and filled it, the whole tooth snapped clean of in 2 days and left me with a nice stump! Calling back up to express my anger and to get an apology, I was told she’s off now due to a bereavement in the family (not the first time I’d been told this). They said they will rebook me with a locum dentist, then 10 mins later tell me they’ve cancelled my appointment. Keep cancelling appointments all the time. I would not go here unless you want to be in pain, all the filling performed by Sofia are exposed and I’ve had 3 infections in 2 months due to the poor work! Avoid.

Fantastic experience: As a result of the pandemic, my business really struggled and I was unable to pay the going rates for all my dental treatment. My dentist had removed me from their NHS patient list because I had not kept up a regular schedule of visits, so I set about looking for a new dentist who was willing to take on NHS patients. It took a while! So much so that I allowed myself to remain in rather a lot of pain for way too long! I was delighted, then, when Camberley Dental Clinic responded to my request to join them as a NHS patient. My first visit confirmed I needed root canal surgery, and while this was not covered by the NHS, the price was approximately half what I had been quoted by my previous dentist. It's still out of my budget at this time, but the dentist (who was lovely) did say that she wouldn't let me remain in pain and that I should contact her immediately if I was in need of help. As for the surgery itself, it was clean, comfortable and the welcome was very friendly. As a 60 year old with the humour of a ten year old, I was happy to watch old cartoons in the waiting room - although I waited less than 15 minutes to be seen, so I still don't know if Roadrunner caught the bird. The location is fine, and they have parking, although I came by bus from Yateley as my car was in for repairs. It's only a couple of minutes walk from the bus stop, so very easy to reach. At no time did I feel like a second class patient, and I really got the feeling that they all cared about my wellbeing rather than my wallet (which is lucky!). I'm delighted I found them, and have no hesitation in recommending them. I should add that my old dentist was also lovely and very friendly, so I have no complaints about them whatsoever, except the cost.

Negative experience: It's been nearly a year since I underwent my filling procedure, and unfortunately, I've had to revisit the dentist twice since then. Despite my concerns, the issues persist, and the dentist reassures me that it will improve, yet there has been no change. I invested over £200.00 in the fillings, but the sensitivity problem remains unresolved.

Fantastic experience: Posting under my partners name. Had an appointment today for a check up as I have swollen gums from being pregnant, I told the dental nurse I have anxiety and she was very gentle with me. When it hurt as she was giving my teeth a clean she stopped to give me a breather then carried on as soon as I said I was okay. She gave me very useful information and made sure that I was okay. Fantastic experience: If you’re reading this review it probably means you’re considering joining Camberley Dental Clinic, here’s a few reasons who you absolutely should :) After putting off visiting a dentist for…. Let’s just say a lot longer than I should! Due to extreme fear of dentists and a terrible previous experience, I can honestly say I’m so pleased I’ve joined this practice. Lena and (Iris I believe) on reception were friendly, welcoming, reassuring and very sympathetic to my state of nerves - honestly such lovely ladies. I was then greeted by Nadia Kashif and her dental nurse, who again were so lovely with me, put me at ease and carried out a thorough examination. I didn’t feel rushed, they took the time to listen to me and clearly explained my options. I left feeling like a huge weight of anxiety had been lifted off my shoulders and I know I won’t feel so petrified about my next visit! Thank you again to all of the amazing team!

Fantastic experience: Like most people, I’m a dentist-wary individual, but after just one visit to Camberley Dental Clinic, I can already feel that fear disappearing. They were able to see me the same day, even though I was an unregistered patient in desperate need of an urgent appointment. I got in touch through the website at 6am and by 11am I’d been seen and sorted out! The prices are so reasonable, and they went over and above to look after me afterwards (antibiotics/mouth wash/booked follow up appointment etc). Everyone I met was so warm, caring and friendly. I feel so grateful to have found dental care that doesn’t feel intimidating. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t praise this dental practice enough. I stumbled across them whilst looking for an emergency appointment as my usual dentist couldn’t fit me in. I was in a lot of pain and very nervous due to a previous bad experience. The receptionist (Lena) put me at ease so quickly. Within an hour, my family and myself were registered and they squeezed me in for a check up the next day. When I arrived, Lena was so welcoming and reassuring. When I met with the dentist (Sara), she couldn’t have been more different to my previous bad experiences. She was calm, gentle, brilliant communication and very informative. Even though I now unfortunately need to have a large procedure, I am less nervous for this than I usually would be for a standard check up. I instantly feel in good hands, like lots of care will be taken to make it all as gentle and pain free as possible with a successful end result. I feel very lucky to have found this dentist and have already recommended to friends and family who have subsequently joined. Thank you for restoring my faith in dentists and making it a much less scary place!

Fantastic experience: Never met such a lovely team. From the receptionist to the dentist and everyone in between. Joined as an NHS patient and had an appointment for an assessment within 7 days. My dental options were clearly explained, an action plan was put into place & I had all work done within a week of assessment. Now I have no more pain and a dentist I can trust to look after me moving forward. Thank you to everyone at Camberley Dental Clinic for you kindness with this somewhat nervous patient.

Fantastic experience: I visited Camberley dental clinic today for my hygienist 6 monthly check. I was a little nervous for the appointment as I had previously had some dental work which left me with some sensitivity. Teddy greeted me as I entered her room with warmed and a smile. She was interested in my oral routine and offered me advice on how I can improve my teeth cleaning. She put me at ease from the start by telling me she was there to help and make sure she looks after me and my teeth. Teddy was amazing from start to finish, her passion for her work shines through but also her caring nature adds to this.

Fantastic experience: Me and my daughter both went to see Dr James. My daughter is 10 and she was very nervous as doesn’t remember going to see a dentist James was absolutely amazing with her and very patient . James was absolutely amazing with my appointment too as I have not managed to have any dental care for a while and due to medications my teeth at back were broken . James is the first dentist that didn’t judge and went through a very thorough plan to get my teeth health again and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend. Every member of staff are amazing . Fantastic experience: Fantastic practice!!!! After years of going private in Frimley coach house i had some terrible experiences and decided to up and leave and try the NHS and what an amazing decision it was. The team at Camberley dental practise have been welcoming, proffesional and very skilled, ive been with Saj now for a couple of years and he is by far the best dentist ive come accross who is always ready to help me out as soon as possible , he also doesnt waste time and has even sorted me out on a couple of occasions where others would not have, Lena on the reception is a lovely welcoming lady aswell that will always do her best to help us out, highly recommend these guys and what they offer!!

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. Lena the receptionist was extremely kind and understanding when I was facing a dental emergency. James the dentist sorted the problem immediately and made me feel relaxed and at ease as soon as I walked in. Like most of the people, I don't like to visit dentist but since I have had the first treatment with James and his team, it has changed. I missed my appointment once but without any hassle they booked another one for me. If you want pain free treatment and excellent customer service then Camberley Dental Clinic is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I have to say James is the best dentist I have ever been to, my first visit was with my (excitable) 6 year old son who required a couple of fillings in his milk teeth, I have never seen anyone (let alone a medical professional) engage him in such a way that he felt safe, secure, excited but calm enough to let him do the work required. Then when it came to me and my Trainwreck of a mouth James's enthusiasm didn't falter and actually made me feel confident in what could be achieved with me. He explained everything required and why it was required and let me pick and choose what procedure I wanted and when. Excellent customer service and brilliant care. I have now found mine and my family's forever dentist.

I am really pleased with the outcome of my appointments to get my teeth cleaned, fillings done and a few removed.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to Camberley Dental Clinic and I have been greatly impressed. Lena on reception was extremely helpful and accommodating providing me with an emergency appointment last minute, she was very kind and caring. My dentist was James who was fantastic, he is very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. I will be using this Clinic going forward. I have been pleased with the whole experience.

Fantastic experience: Needed emergency NHS treatment to extract LR6 and LR7 molars. The dentist (James Lau) demonstrated great care in removing them, leaving me with no pain or after-effects at all ! He also emailed my OPG (panoramic X-ray scan) over to me for future use.

Negative experience: Having been a patient for the best part 30 years(actually probably more) I've been told I cannot book an appointment because I missed a (couple) of appointments during that time although only reference was made to a booking in November last year. My husband reminded me that we were all isolating with covid around that time and this must have been the appointment referred to. I wholly accept this was my failing. However I have been a patient since I was a child and my children have also been through this practice. I expect that the desire for more private patients means that long standing NHS patients and their families are no longer seen as such good revenue. (Apparently I could come as a private patient now!) Very pleasant reception staff though .

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit but Meeting dentist James and hygienist Sundus felt like I have met them before. I was feeling little awkward at the beginning but the warm and homely environment made me comfortable. I am breast feeding new mom and was suffering from bleeding gums.I really liked how Sundus explained me everything without even asking..I recommend this place to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist for at least 5 years, I haven’t had the best experiences but decided it was definitely time. I couldn’t believe how lovely everyone was, the receptionist was really easy to talk to, helpful, friendly and understanding and then I saw my dentist James who made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in, he explained everything he was doing and explained costs as he went, I couldn’t of wished for a better experience, James also seemed really interested in my wedding this year and asked lots of questions, I will definitely be going back and keep up with my 6 month checks. At last I’ve found my perfect dentist

Fantastic experience: I am so lucky to have met James today and can not believe I am actually looking forward to start my treatment. As far back as I can remember (I am now 57), I have been terrified of the dentist. James immediately put me at ease; his professionalism and calmness gave me the confidence to open up about years of being embarrassed about my teeth. The lovely receptionist and kind dental nurses were welcoming too. A huge thank you to James and your wonderful team. I left your dental surgery excited, which is a first! My only regret is I did not find you years ago. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Fantastic experience: I have never had such good dental treatment as I have had here. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentists and nurses are the nicest you will ever meet. I'm both a nhs and private customer and the level of treatment you get, is the same whichever side you're on. I can't fault a single thing. These guys go above and beyond to make sure you are fully informed and relaxed throughout the treatment.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist practice having not been for a few years to a dentist due to a number of factors booked up an appointment fearing the worst turned out only thing needing doing was an appointment with the hygenist and a filling replacement... James and the team at the practice are great, very friendly and walk you through your treatment plan in a way you can understand.

Fantastic experience: After only very recently joining the practice as a patient, I am disappointed I didn’t find them sooner!! Checks ups and treatment have been an absolute pleasure for all the family. Not only is the work that James does great, the customer service throughout is amazing too. As a busy Mum needing to work appointments for myself around the children can be tricky, but needing to take my baby with me couldn’t be LESS stressful! The whole team are fabulously entertaining and understanding and James’ nurse is particularly amazing with my children. Most definitely a family friendly practice. If you were nervous patient this environment would most definitely put you at ease in a instant.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are very friendly, they greet you like you've been friends for years & they make you feel very welcome & relaxed. The staff doing the dentistry work tell you what they are going to do, commend you after & are very professional in all areas. It has been redecorated since my last visit 3 months ago & it's more homely & comfortable, not at all clinical.

Fantastic experience: I went to Camberley dental clinic after having really awful experiences with other dentists. I have such a fear of dentists and the receptionist Leena made me feel so at ease as soon as I came into the clinic. James the dentist was incredible taking his time to explain everything properly and make sure I was comfortable, and took the time to split up the dental work I need into manageable sessions and talk me through which each of these would entail and cost. Sagun the dental nurse was so lovely and made sure I was at ease. I would recommend the clinic to anyone but especially to those with fears of the dentist! They made what is a horrible experience for me as comfortable as it could be and I am not dreading going back as I normally would be.

Fantastic experience: The reception staff are fantastic they are very friendly and helpful, and once I was in the dentists chair, James (dentist) had me relaxed and comfortable in no time at all. He was very thorough in his examination, taking his time to explain in detail what treatment was required. I am in my sixties now and I can honestly say that the follow up treatment I received was one of the best dental treatment experiences I've had, and I've seen many dentists in my time. Highly recommended!
