Chatfield Dental Battersea

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience at Chatfield Dental Center. I had a 10:30 appointment for a lost filling. The dentist was running late because he spent too long with another patient, and I was not properly seen until after 11:30. I waited a long time, then was taken into the treatment room, only for the dentist to say he did not have time to do the filling and asked me to rebook. I received no treatment at all, yet I was still asked to pay £27 just for sitting in the chair. This is completely unfair. Patients should not pay for delays caused by poor time management

Fantastic experience: I’m 19 years old and currently a medical student at Trinity College, Cambridge, and I still travel all the way from Cambridge to London to see my dentist at Chatfield Dental. My dad first took me to see Dr Pakan when I was 10 years old, and he has been my dentist ever since. Over the years, Dr Pakan has provided consistently excellent care with a very high level of professionalism. He is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and reassuring, always taking the time to explain everything clearly. Even now, with a busy schedule and the long journey, I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. The trust and quality of care I’ve received over the years make the travel completely worth it. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I live in North London but have been travelling to Battersea for the past 8 years purely because of the outstanding care I receive at Chatfield Dental. Dr Pakan is an exceptional dentist and has looked after my teeth with incredible skill, attention, and consistency over the years. He is highly professional, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to explain treatments clearly, which builds a lot of trust and confidence. Dr Pakan is now our family dentist, and we wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. The level of care and professionalism makes the journey completely worth it every time. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: NHS patients wait an hour and half and after the appointment time given. Private patients come and go, get priority and and NHS gets kicked to the back of the queue...! Be prepared...!

Fantastic experience: I'm so happy I chose this clinic & Dr Pakan. There was quite a bit to do after 7y ish without going to the dentist. I initially went to another clinic (across the bridge, in Sainsbury) where they wanted to do a root canal despite me having no sensitivy or pain. Dr Pakan on the other end was confident a filing would be sufficient (99% sure tbd during the first treatment) and turns out he was right. 1 appointment with the hygienist and 1.5h treatment for 3 filings and my teeth were good as new! I was also pretty stressed but Dr Pakan and his assistant were really professional and communication was great so it helped a lot :) Thanks for everything!

Fantastic experience: I want to extend my thanks to the team at Chatfield Dental as they've been superb at helping me get through my recovery for the past 2 months I was victim to a robbery and lost quite a few teeth, big scar on my lip as well; furthest from the ideal situation The team were extremely diligent with helping me restore my teeth and guiding me through the entire process A thanks to Dr Pakan from helping prevent me from rushing through the decision of taking the cheaper option (that would've been far worse) A thanks to Phoebe at reception for having someone to speak with and relate on similar experiences!!! I had with Dr. Korosh Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth and he was all along the process going the extra mile to achieve the ‘remarkable’ result beyond my imagination. I don’t get to see you much Dr. Korosh, but I hope you know how thankful I am. Dr.Pakan, the implant I had, made a big difference in my life. I can now chew better and enjoy food. My mother experience was not less remarkable. The multiple implants she had done more than ten years ago still look good and she is very happy. Reception team and nurses: Suzi, Shima and Amal always very helpful and ensure to make things happen, if at all possible. Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr Carla Garbarino earlier this morning, my first appointment with her and WOW - I have to say I have never met such a wonderful, professional and caring dentist. I was very anxious coming into the appointment but Carla completely put me at ease and made me feel informed and comfortable throughout. Carla also provided me with some really helpful holistic dental hygiene tips. I cannot recommend her dentist services more highly! I must also say that Katie Lee (Dental Hygienist) is also absolutely fantastic, Katie is extremely knowledgable, patient and professional as well as the Chatfield Dental reception team who have always been super lovely and helpful!

Fantastic experience: I have had many bad experiences with Dentists in the past, varying from unprofessional to downright rude. I can say with hand on heart that Dr Babak at this practice is the best Dentist I’ve ever come across. I’ve had quite serious health issues for the last few years and he has gone over and above to accommodate me. He’s shown kindness, patience and empathy, enabling me to have one less thing to worry about. Many times I’ve had to cancel at short notice, or he has stayed on just to accommodate me and this has been so appreciated. Further, he’s very friendly, personable and puts you at ease (when I’ve had some major treatment!). All the work I’ve had done at the practice has been second to none, very professional with no issues afterwards. I strongly recommend him and the practice to the point that when I returned to London having been back home to Wales for 18 months while I recovered from surgery, even though I went moved to a different location, I contacted him straight away to return as a patient. Highly recommend!

After an initial consultation with Dr Pakan, the treatment started with correcting my bite. Dr Korosh has expertly overseen this part of the treatment, using invisible aligners that I wore for nearly a year. Thanks to Dr Korosh's expertise, the results were achieved faster than either of us anticipated, which was truly incredible. The commencing restorative part of my treatment was lenghty due to the complexity of my needs, but Dr Pakan made sure that each step of the treatment was always an improvement. He explained everything clearly so I knew exactly what to expect at every stage. His attention to detail, exceptional skill and knowledge, combined with his patience and kindness, made this the best dental care I’ve ever received. I am also taking to this place my little daughter (toddler) - to the dentist. She had two appointments for now and they're always very kind and entertaining. Fantastic experience: Dr Babak Karimi is amazing. I came to see him for composite bonding on my two front teeth after too much lime juice and fizzy water had weakened the enamel and made them slightly transparent. He did such an incredible job, I forget often that anything was even done to them because they look so natural, like my own teeth but a million times better. I was weary at first because I really don't like that domino teeth look a lot of people want with veneers but he listens and knows how to give you what you are after, and he goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable during the process and afterwards. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had a front coverage composite bonding of my front tooth. It needed to replaced from a break from childhood. I also had whitening beforehand. BABAK KARIMI was amazing - spent 3 hours on my tooth to make sure it was perfect. I then got a complimentary review to make sure I loved it, I was able to slightly change it to make it look EXACTLY like my other tooth. No one can tell the difference, its amazing!

Fantastic experience: I had a cracked wisdom tooth which became infected and painful. Due to the level of decay it had to be extracted. It was my first dental procedure and I was nervous. Dr Pakan was sympathetic to my fears but his professionalism and confidence put me at ease. The procedure was quick and painless and I was grateful I could be seen so quickly. Visited the hygienist today and she did a fantastic job removing all the hard plaque which has built up in the 10+ years since my last visit! This is an excellent surgery, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bobak is an amazing dentist. I'm 48 years old and I never thought my teeth could be straight. I went to another dentist to see their treatment plans but they said that it was too complicated and they could only do train tracks. When I went to Dr Bobak, he was able to perform the treatment plan using invisilign. My treatment is currently ongoing, however, I can see a significant improvement within my teeth. My previous dentist even complimented how straight my teeth were by saying that Dr Bobak did a great job. I recommend Dr Bobak Karimi to all my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I came across chatfield dental practice rather serendipitously many years ago when I had an ongoing chronic issue with my gums. It was because of Dr Pakan’s extensive knowledge and continuous dedication to excellent care that I was able to completely resolve my issue. I am forever grateful for this. In addition the hygienist team at chatfield are absolutely amazing and do not compare to any other place that I have been. Specially Claudia she is extremely meticulous and always does an amazing job for me. The staff at the reception (Suzanne) are always so kind and helpful. They are truly dedicated to their craft and as a healthcare professional myself, I really appreciate this. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: After I had left my prior review, the dental centre was made aware of their mistake. They were excellent in how they responded, and I understand that humanly mistakes do occur in business. I appreciate how they called me up and apologised for their inconvience, and they booked me in for another appointment the next week. The receptionist was apologetic, and so was the boss. The hygienist appointment was great as well, the hygienist was careful and reasssuring during the process. I also got a partial refund which was great as well. So, if there are any mistakes that this practice does make, they will most certainly do their best to rectify it. I am satisfied with how they responded and their customer service was great. Fantastic experience: A great dentist/clinician is one who is honest, caring, fair and listens to your needs more than anything. In June, I had a tooth fracture just a month prior to my wedding. I was extremely distressed and devastated when I found out I had to have my teeth extracted. I approached Dr Pakan, whose calm and collective approach made the whole experience very pleasant. He addressed my needs and understood where my priorities and worries were at. He offered me an extraction & immediate dental implant placement on the same appointment with a temporary crown to get me through my wedding. Not to mention, this was a very difficult placement as the implant was a short implant due to bone shortage around the tooth. I could not express enough how pleasant this experience was. I had post operative follow up calls and messages from him personally and all my questions were answered. I was also presented with a variety of post operative instructions which helped me maintain the crown/implant till I had my permanent crown fitted. I am extremely happy with my dental Implant and could not recommend Dr Pakan enough. The clinic also presents a calm and welcoming aroma with very friendly staff and nurses. Thank you Chatfield Team for giving me this amazing service!

I had implants, crowns and fillings redone. A great experience that was pain free apart from the one initial injection to numb your gum!! Negative experience: 2 stars are for the staff who are lovely. It would be 0 star otherwise. First visit so it could have been an off day, but waiting 20 mins for a hygiene clean in a over packed and hectic waiting room, was not what I was expecting. Far too many bookings at the same time, probably bells of £££, it was like a drive through. Same staff asking 3 times if I've been seen yet, then finally having my appointment to have a 30mins appointment completed in 15 and to still be charged nearly £100 was ridiculous. Essentially it worked out to £200 for a hygiene clean. Great for NHS clients and families.

Fantastic experience: I have Recently completed my Invisalign treatment followed by a whitening treatment with Dr Babak. The process great, Dr Babak answered all my questions and guided through every step. The Invisalign treatment took longer than it was planned due to covid and other circumstances, after 2 years I can finally say that I have come to the end of my treatment and I am very satisfied with the results, I feel more confident with my smile now :) I strongly recommend Dr Babak, he is very professional and a lovely dentist. Thank you to Dr Babak and his assistant :)

Negative experience: Couldn't attend as my partner had covid called to rearrange told me to pay £40 pounds again over the phone to do so... Sorry not for me!

Fantastic experience: By far the finest practice I've ever attended. From the receptionists to the nurses and physicians, everyone I've encountered with has been really kind and helpful. My appointments have always been on time, and the facility has an open layout with enough of light, so it doesn't seem claustrophobic like many waiting rooms... I have no criticism! If you are able to participate in this procedure, please do so. Also the price and quality of their services are completely different than other clinics in London.

Negative experience: This was my first dentist appointment after a very traumatic assault that affected my teeth terribly. The reception staff were lovely and friendly but the dentist I had my appointment with was horrible. He was very rude very condescending, not letting me answer questions or properly explain my injuries or concerns. I had to leave about 5 mins into the appointment on the brink of tears. This experience sent me back to a place I thought I had left. If you’re a a DA survivor I would not recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had composite bonding on 6 teeth. Dr Babak completely transformed my smile. The procedure was painless. I’m blown away at how natural the finish is. He used a special tint to reflect the appearance of natural teeth. If you’re considering bonding, I’d recommend booking in a consultation. Thank you Dr Babak and Vilma for the excellent patient care and transforming my smile.

Fantastic experience: My teeth used to feel so out of place but thanks to my dentist my teeth are so much more comfortable now. I've had Composite bonding and my teeth look straighter than ever and Dr Babak really helped me with them and I'm really grateful.

Fantastic experience: Take it from someone who is absolutely terrified of the dentist...this place is great! I broke a tooth after not having gone to the dentist in almost 13 years. They got me in on an emergency appointment the very same day after dealing with a lovely receptionist. Dr. Pakan Mazaheri was brilliant! Put my nerves at ease as best he can (I was very anxious). he removed my tooth so quickly and completely painlessly. After being afraid of the dentist for so long, I'm no longer as anxious to go to my next appointment. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Babak for my Invisalign plan and I would highly recommend him and the team at Chatfield. The process was great and very well explained. I was guided through all my options and each step of the process. Dr Babak went above and beyond to make sure I got the results I wanted and that shows in how please I was/am at the end of the treatment. Fantastic experience: I chose to go with Dr Karimi for my invisalign plan. Cannot fault the process! Even managed to arrange new retainers to be posted to the US when i relocated for a couple of months mid treatment. Very flexible and lovely dentist who I would more than recommend.

Fantastic experience: This has been honestly one of the very best visits I have ever made to the dentists. It's one of those situations where I'm often daunted about going to the dentists, but I'm very grateful to the Chatfield team especially Dr Pakan Mazaheri for creating a reassuring and supportive environment for me. They walked me through everything, from the treatment needed to how best to take care moving forwards, and they have performed an absolute stellar of a job when it comes to my implant. I have to say that Dr Mazaheri is the most skilful & courteous dentist I have known, carrying out all interventions with great professionalism and clear explanations. Dr Mazaheri was extremely professional and carried out the works to a high level, and during the implant process I suffered absolutely no pain at all. I was delighted with the results. The staff have also been very kind, patient and polite. The supporting team are resolute and consummate professionals, including Ms Nahal. I strongly recommend this Dental practice to every one for an incredible service. Thanks to the whole team!

Fantastic experience: Dr Babak did an amazing job, restoring my front tooth. I’ve had a fracture since childhood and the tooth has started to become discoloured and yellowish. Dr Babak has been very thorough, picking the right colour for the bonding and spent extra time to make it look perfect. I highly recommend him and his team (dont remember the name of his assistant but she’s also lovely). Overall, I am very happy with the result and will continue using their cosmetic dentistry services:)

Negative experience: Wasting time and money i had bad experience with them I spend more then 8 month with dentist there the only thing he can do is to do is hygienist and take your money they are confused and they don’t know what I they do worst experience with dentist in my life never again

Fantastic experience: I've recently had composite bonding done with DR. BABAK KARIMI on the front 4 teeth. I didn't want to get veneers and so I opted for edge bonding and I'm really happy with the results. He's very good at what he does and I recommend him to anyone wanting to get some cosmetic dentistry to improve their smile.
