Fantastic experience: By far the most relaxing tranquil environment that is surrounded by seasoned professionals as soon as you enter. Your dental health is certainly looked after to the highest standards I have ever witnessed. I have just had implants and believe me I was in very safe hands. The implants are just over 2 weeks in and everything healing as I was told it would. Cannot fault the service or value in any way whatsoever.

Fantastic experience: Wowza- what a way to start 2025! I follow Stricklandgate Dental on Facebook and as soon as I saw a post informing me there was a hygienist slot available today I contacted them to say I will have and jumped in the car for my drive from Durham! Jessica was a dream, alongside her dental nurse (sorry didn’t get name) as she made me feel so relaxed and at ease - due to me being a dental wimp! I had the air flow hygiene treatment so I could sparkle into 2025. Thank you all for fitting me in and being so professional and considerate.

Fantastic experience: Had a brilliant direct access hygiene airflow appointment with Jess and her nurse, a lovely team. The treatment is painfree and very effective. It’s great to visibly see any areas where plaque is being missed with the use of the disclosing solution. I had picked up some external stain during fixed orthodontic treatment and Jess was able to remove this with the EMS dental equipment very effectively. This is a fantastic treatment option, especially for those going through orthodontic treatment. Over the moon with the results - thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: This dental practice is fantastic. My children have been coming here for a long time and their Dentist John always puts them and us at such ease. He has taken time to get to know them and always chats about the latest footie scores which they love! I recently had to rearrange their appointments due to illness and the receptionist Cara couldn't have been more accommodating when I rang to rearrange. She was lovely and polite and got us into the next available appointment, and around school times also. She gave fantastic service and further reiterates why we'd never go anywhere else. I'd highly recommend this dentist for their lovely staff.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment today and was very impressed. First of all I was greeted by a friendly and very helpful lady. My dental examination was extremely thorough, and the equipment used was very modern, much better than I have been used to. I suffer a bit of anxiety before I go to the Dentist , but there was absolutely no reason to worry, my Dentist and her staff were very welcoming, and put me completely at ease. Overall a good experience. A week later and I have met my Hygenist Sophie, and Sally her nurse. Again so good. Sophie explained everything as she proceeded. Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a root canal done on a tooth that had already been root filled many years ago and became infected. I was worried I might end up losing the tooth, but Dr Blue Coupe did a fantastic job and managed to save it. She was very diligent and thorough during the procedure. I also had a broken tooth removed by Anna and she was brilliant! To be honest I was dreading going through the process, but she was really good. It's great to know that I'm in good hands and I don't feel so worried when I have to have work done. Thanks for doing a great job, it's very much appreciated!

Fantastic experience: I have an overwhelmingly positive opinion of this practice. This was my first experience of using a private dentist (non-NHS). I had an extremely thorough first assessment and multiple treatments for dental health and then cosmetics for a damaged front tooth, whitening, finally even filling in the gaps between my other front teeth. Some things I had I wasn't even aware could be done prior to joining the practice. Dr Coupe performed my treatment and I couldn't recommend her knowledgeable, kind and conscientious approach enough. However, everyone I had dealings with was sooo nice. I am really grateful for the courteous and professional treatment I received, and so utterly pleased with the results too! Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: I recently had the airflow tooth polishing treatment as I wanted my teeth to look & feel as clean as they possibly could. Jess & her assistant were extremely gentle & efficient, making the whole experience pain free & relaxing.

Fantastic experience: Visited 18th October 2022 for a filling. I have always been apprehensive about such visits over 70+ years of treatment. This was the first time in all those years that the procedure was truly "painless". Felt very little when injected and the only time I was aware that anything was happening was the noise of the drill. Now will almost look forward to visiting this dentist. Thank you Dr Coup!

For someone who is quite uneasy about visiting the dentist, Christine put me immediately at ease and was extremely thorough with my treatments. She also has a fantastic rapport with children and my son now enjoys his dentist visits! I can't recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: My experience of having an implant at Stricklandgate Dental Practice was second to none. All the staff were very friendly and Dr Satya Patel was extremely kind. He explained the process very clearly as he went along, and recorded progress with lots of photos, which was interesting. I had complete confidence in his skills and the result was great: a very natural looking implant. Although I’m not keen on injections, I felt very calm in their nice modern treatment room.

Fantastic experience: Wow.....what can I say....first class in everyway! Was quite distraught losing my front tooth and bridge and of course my smile. Mr Satya Patel came to my rescue organizing a replacement stronger bridge and returning my smile to its former glory!! Words dont seem sufficient for what Satya did for me and my confidence and I will be forever grateful. Satya Patel's skill,knowledge, professionalism, patience understanding and empathy are all second to none and he gives clients so much confidence in his ability to resolve your problem. Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr Satya Patel for a root canal and in house Cerec crown of a lower molar. The root canal was absolutely fine I did not feel thing. Satya and the nurse made me feel very at ease. I am very pleased and was a pleasant experience I am very happy with my Cerec crown. Satya showed me whilst he was designing my crown and explained throughly. Very pleased with all my treatment definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Really lovely practice with very professional staff. I can't recommend this practice enough as they have helped me out last minute on many an occasion. COVID guidelines are adhered to very strictly and I feel very safe when I'm in here.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this practice for over 25 years and have excellent service throughout all the changes in that time. However I feel obliged to write now after receiving great treatment for a crown that became extended due to personal health issues which were handled most patiently.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I’ve needed quite a bit of work including a bridge following a bike crash and they’ve done a great job sorting my teeth out. Really knowledgeable and helpful! Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son had a root canal treatment done to one of his upper from tooth here in 2014. He had a very complicated root canal ( tooth with dense indente) and this was one of the worst cases I had seen as a fellow dentist. He was in agony preceding the procedure. Dr Patel selflessly stayed late on his birthday to treat my son thereby missing his celebrations!! After the treatment, there have been no issues with the tooth, and it has recovered very well . High praises to Dr Patel for his dedication and compassion towards his patients and his profession.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have some teeth removed and was given various options, all fully explained, as to what could be done. In the end, I opted for a combination of implants and clip-in denture. I was very apprehensive about having implants but need not have been, as the staff were very good and put me at ease. The fact that I was ill part way through my treatment and had to change appointments was not a problem and they made new appointments for when I was able to continue treatment. They did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the results.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist I've ever had. I always feel very like I'm in good hands here and travel from abroad to receive treatment from Dr Patel. They're never in a rush and take their time to explain what they're doing and the options you have for future treatment. They're gentle, cautious and up to the minute with the latest dentistry, which is quite a find in Cumbria. They are also very happy to talk about cosmetic treatment, which is not something you find normally. I also take my 2 young daughters here and they are very comfortable with Satya. Five star rating for the dentists, hygienists and very the friendly receptionists.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Dr Satya Patel. He is highly skilled and looks at the whole mouth when deciding on treatment, so that the result is an integrated and comfortable bite. He also takes time to discuss the options for treatment so that you can make informed decisions. A recent root canal procedure I had was meticulously carried out with very little discomfort. The rest of the staff are always cheerful and helpful and Jane in particular has been very patient with sorting out emergency appointments. Thank you.
