Fantastic experience: I initially had a hygienist and dental check up, and was very pleased with the service, so decided to proceed with teeth whitening and having my composite bonding redone. Dr. panos takes a very pragmatic approach, and really put my mind at ease as I can be quite a nervous patient. Dr. Panos was very knowledgeable and was very mindful of the timelines I had in mind for completing the work. I have very sensitive teeth, so I had a few complimentary treatments and appointments to desensitise them during my teeth whitening course, which was very much appreciated, and for me really went above and beyond. When it came to having my composite bonding redone, dr. Panos took great pride in his work and took the time to make sure that my smile would be better than it ever has been before. I only had 2 teeth done, but for me it has completely changed my smile and confidence. He even came in on his day off to make sure I could have my composite bonding done in time- again above and beyond in client care in my books! Now I’m the happiest I’ve been with my teeth in years. Fantastic experience: I recently had some enlighten gels and porcelain crown replacements here, Dr Issy was fantastic, once my new crowns were installed I needed a little adjustment and Issy came in on her day off to carry out the works which is amazing patient care. The reception team are amazing as well and really helpful, the whole team made me feel supported, heard and in great hands which made it easy to trust the team would do the best for me. Going to the dentist and trusting people with your smile is a very personal decision and the team made sure I was comfortable through everything.

Fantastic experience: I visited this dental surgery today and was really well looked after right from reception, hygienist to Dr Panos. The hygienist took her time and diligently cleaned my teeth together with advice on care and a couple of the correct inter dental floss to be used. Dr Panos is such an expert on what he does and knows. I felt my teeth were in safe hands and together with a thorough explanation of my options, I felt I was happy to proceed with the next stage of my treatment. I would really recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Angelopoulos and the team offer an incredible service and I cannot reccomend them highly enough. Dr Angelopoulos did a fantastic job of cosmetic bonding on my front teeth, creating a really natural but much improved smile. I've had a lot of compliments on them. His work was careful, thorough and with remarkable attention to detail. He is a real tooth artist. The procedure was non invasive and excellent value. Check ups are comprehensive, and Dr Angelopoulos is patient and helpful in explaining the health of your teeth and gums and providing advice on how to look after them. If you are looking for a new dentist in Balham, or even just generally, look no further.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved dentist as had a bad experience at The Dentist in Balham (despite being a customer for many years). I did have a great dentist there. But here at Balham Gateway Dentist, I have had 2 visits that was beyond my expectation. I didn’t know you could have such good service at the dentist. First I had a half-price hygienist appointment with Vanessa. Vanessa was very pleasant and complimentary to me the patient. Well actually she said I was a 5 star patient! It was a better experience than most of my past hygienist appointments when most of the time you would just get your teeth cleaned in an uneventful way. And today I had my first examination with Dr Panos. The examination was very thorough and Dr Panos had an amazing scan that showed me, in 3D, what my problems were. These are not new problems but Dr Panos was able to suggest new solutions. We went over time for the same price (really competitive!). I really felt I was well looked after. Don’t be fooled with the front entrance and the reception, which all look a bit jaded. Once you step into the surgery room, it is so bright and clean with all the latest kit. I sure you would find that they are at the top of their game, offering good service and treat you like an individual and not just a number. For children and teenagers - the examinations are available free of charge in the NHS. I will definitely recommend. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Around 3 years ago I had upper and lower metal dentures that were filling many gaps. The 2 main molars that were supporting the dentures were falling apart and would no longer support the dentures. I met with Panos and asked him to make a plan for the best way forward for me. He made a plan of keeping my remaining teeth and supporting them with implants. We recently completed the whole treatment and I now have a full set of teeth which I am very pleased with. My whole experience of Panos and Balham Gateway Dental Surgery has been excellent. From the moment I walked into the reception I felt a warm welcoming atmosphere and it relaxed me immediately. I found Panos and his assistant, Lena, skilled and friendly. They constantly checked that I was comfortable, and there was never pain. I would recommend Balham Gateway Dental Surgery most highly and would say that anyone going there for treatment would have a fear-free and positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I went to Balham Gateway Dental for a consultation, after a recommendation from a friend - and I was not dissappointed... I wanted to have quite a few old metal fillings removed and replaced with the modern, tooth-coloured materials. It was quite a lot of work to be done, however Panos was happy to take on the task, and he drew up a written treatment plan for me with pricing, which was suitable for my personal schedule. The entire process was excellent from start to finish. The work Panos has done is exceptional and I would recommend to anyone. Also, all of the staff at Balham Gateway Dental are incredibly friendly and helpful - is has been a pleasure to be a patient of theirs. Best overall dentist experiance I've ever had.

Panos the dentist is amazing, so compassionate, caring and considerate, yet also highly skilled and a bit of a perfectionist, which is not a bad thing when it comes to teeth/dentistry. He's a whizz with implants too. Once you find a good reliable trustworthy dentist, you want to stay with them. I have a nervous disposition when it comes to the dentist, Panos is comforting, reassuring and professional. His staff are wonderful, welcoming, friendly and helpful. He cultivates a sense of safety when in his care, he's patient, explains processes, seeks consent, and has a good sense of humour too. The practice is clean and has a fresh feel to it, it's small, so you don't feel lost in a big practice.
