Fantastic experience: What an experience the past 6 months have been. I originally came in to see dr Naveed for a broken tooth and I was treated with a root canal and a filling. I was so impressed by everything I have since been back for further treatment of Invisalign, whitening and have just finished by composite bonding which I am extremely happy with. Everything from my dental work, the team, facilities and cleanliness has exceeded all expectations. Make this place your new dental practice, you won’t regret it

Fantastic experience: I recently visited this dental practice for treatment for a deeply fractured molar. This fracture happened due to dental work I received abroad, which left me traumatised and terrified of dentists in general. Walking into Dream Smiles felt like visiting a spa, the calm clean decor immediately put me at ease. The dentist who treated me was exceptional, reassured me by explaining every step of the procedure, most of all he was true to his word. "I promise I wont hurt you". The procedure was absolutely pain free and swift. I was amazed and truely grateful for feeling in safe hands.

Fantastic experience: A week ago today I got my Wisdom Tooth out due to positioning and pain. Everyone, especially Luke, has been amazing during my healing process. Every question and every worry I have had has been answered straight away no matter the day or time. They even got me in a couple days afterwards as I was worried to check the healing had started the way it should. Very thankful that I chose dream smiles dental.

Negative experience: It's a tricky one this, on the one hand the dentists look good, nice offices and clinics and all that. On the other hand the practice owner killed someone speeding, after being caught speeding twice before. If he can't follow those simple rules, and continues to flout them even after being caught, how can I as a patient believe he will follow the rules in the practice and not endanger my safety whilst in the chair? tricky innit?

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dream Smiles Dental enough. From my first appointment, to treatment, to the follow up appointments, I have felt completely comfortable and at home. During the first no-obligation consultation I felt valued and I did not feel under any pressure at all to commit. Nav took time with me to make sure I was fully committed and happy with both the work and associated costs. I was given plenty of opportunity to review, amend and revise our proposed plan but I was very confident in the decision I had made. I had some cosmetic work done and since seeing the work which I love and experiencing the level of care provided by Dr Naveed, I am moving both of my children to the practice with me. Even my husband has been so impressed, that he has chosen to leave his NHS dentist to join me at Dreams Smiles Dental as the level of care was "night and day" in comparison to what he is used to. After the initial work was completed, I did need some minor revisions making. I had been informed from the outset that I might and nothing has been too much trouble for Nav and the practice to make sure I am 100% comfortable and confident in my smile and the work I have had done. Also, sadly the morning my cosmetic work was due to take place, I suffered a close family bereavement. All the staff were extremely understanding and sympathetic, even given me the option to cancel or reschedule my appointment to a better date. I continued with my appointments with no regrets. They handled a very sensitive situation with sincerity and compassion. I'm not sure everyone would have been as kind or accommodating.

The dentist was extremely helpful and professional, which contributed positively to the overall experience. However, one staff member was laughing loudly, and her voice could be clearly heard from another room. This was distracting and unprofessional, and it detracted from the otherwise pleasant environment.

Fantastic experience: As someone who hasn’t been to the dentist in over 5 years due to anxiety around going, I finally booked myself in for a consultation with Dr Naveed. Firstly, the clinic has been designed to perfection - it does not look or feel like the traditional dingy dental reception areas that smell like a doctor’s surgery. The interior is a first glance at the level of care, precision and passion that was evident throughout the entire consultation. The receptionist was lovely, helpful and a calming presence in the surgery. Followed by a chat with Dr Naveed discussing initial worries/ anxieties and most importantly - teeth! After this chat, Dr Naveed had a look at my teeth, and then we went back to discuss plans moving forward. The entire consultation was relaxed, non-judgemental and put me at ease about the treatment(s). This clinic does indeed put the patient first, and I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for their Dream Smile!

Negative experience: I really wanted to have a positive experience here, but unfortunately it was quite the opposite. The clinic did was not very clean, which immediately raised concerns about hygiene. The tools didn’t appear to be properly sanitised between patients, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Dr. Naveed Patel seemed distracted during the appointment and didn’t give me his full attention. I felt like I was being rushed through without any real concern for my comfort or understanding. He also seemed dismissive when I tried to ask questions about my dental health and future treatment options. Customer care was seriously lacking overall. The front desk was cold and unwelcoming, and getting a follow-up appointment was a hassle. I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived. Definitely not going back.

Negative experience: I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Dr. Naveed Patel. From the moment I arrived, the clinic felt disorganised and unprofessional. I waited over 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment with no explanation or apology. When I finally saw Dr. Patel, he seemed rushed and barely took the time to explain what he was doing. The treatment felt rough and careless, and I left in more pain than I arrived with. I also felt pressured into agreeing to expensive procedures without a clear breakdown of the costs or reasons behind them. Communication was poor, and follow-up was non-existent. I genuinely regret going to this practice. I do not recommend Dr. Patel to anyone looking for competent, considerate dental care.
