Fantastic experience: I had 3 fillings done by Faz and Taibah and they were both absolutely lovely. They made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole appointment. The practice was running on time, the reception staff were really friendly, and everything was clean and professional. Such a positive experience, I would definitely recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: Terrible experience from start to finish. Couldn't understand the receptionist and she was very abrupt. The dentist overcharged my treatment by 800 pounds as saying I needed more work adding on. I went to another dentist who fixed the problem at a much cheaper rate

Fantastic experience: I suddenly woke with dreadful toothache without any warning. Fortunately I got an immediate appointment and my request to save the molar at the back was agreed with antibiotics to help. However despite many painkillers my decision wasn’t the correct one and the brilliant Dr Nafees and his brilliant nursing staff removed the tooth last Monday as my face was swollen and in great pain. I can’t thank everyone at the practice from the pleasant receptionists Fran and Carolina to hygienists and caring nurses who were so supportive when Dr Nafees was carefully removing the huge tooth. Fantastic experience: I visited Manchester Dental today a very nervous patient, but Nafees was absolutely wonderful as were all the team. First part of a bridge replacement, no pain and lots of reassurance. Thank you! So four months later I had my permanent four-tooth bridge fitted today 08092025. The process was painless and I am thrilled with the result, it is a perfect match to my other teeth. The temporary bridge looked great throughout and I was able to clean and floss as usual as my gums were healing from an extraction. During this period the gums shrink so that’s why it takes a few months to get to the next stage of taking impressions to make the final permanent bridge. If you have any doubt about this process - don’t, Nafees and the team are professional and caring. The end result is aesthetically excellent.

Negative experience: Rubbish I went from Sheffield for a consultation for their custom gold teeth. I showed them a photo from THEIR OWN website of what I wanted, which was either a gold tooth with a gemstone in the middle or a gold frame with a gemstone in the middle of the tooth They seemed surprised and said they would make enquiries into cost and phone me. Nobody phoned so I phoned them. I was told that I would definitely receive a follow up phone call; however, weeks later nobody has called me. They have photos on their website of gold teeth and gemstone teeth they cannot actually provide.

Nafees talked me through options and really reassured me that I could have lovely teeth again. The process was done over several months to ensure everything was healed before moving to the next stage. They were absolutely fantastic with my 2 year old son and his first trip to the dentist. I had a consultation with Dr Awais Ali who explained what treatment I needed and gave me some great advice! I had my treatment with Kirsty and it's the first time I felt completely comfortable at the dentist, everything was explained from start to finish and she was very calming and patient. I have left my old dentist and I am coming back here from now on!

Fantastic experience: I made an impulsive error having implants done whilst on holiday in Turkey and was left without any teeth for 6 months. I decided to find somewhere in UK to complete my treatment and after searching came across Manchester Dental. It’s an implant centre doing this treatment all the time with great reputation and many satisfied patients and happy reviews. My experience has been great from my first call. I was assured from the start that they will be able to rectify and continue my treatment. And that, they did. Dr Nafees used all his experience and Dr Yasser did brilliant through all my appointments to give me my amazing smile and confidence. Communication has always been friendly and prompt. On site CT scanner was used to help plan the treatment. It’s a 5 star service, from coffee service in waiting room to tv screens on the ceiling. To anyone needing any implant related work, or a dental work, I cannot recommend them enough!

Negative experience: Was recommended to this Practice for an implant after my crown was causing an issue. The staff were nice enough but the service was awful. He snapped the crown off and butchered the tooth trying to get it out. He basically left the root in and sent me on my way. They said they would then ring me in a few days to discuss what to do next. 7 weeks later I've had no follow up, not even a phone call. Don't bother now either as I've gone somewhere else, hoping they can rectify it for me. May be just me but I wouldn't recommend these lads.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Manchester Dental has been absolutely amazing. One of my bottom front teeth fell out and, like most people, I went to my regular dentist first. They didn’t have the expertise to carry out a dental implant so offered to do some of the procedures and subcontract the hard bits out to a third party. I wanted someone who could do the whole process so, after some research, I contacted Manchester Dental. From the initial phone call everything has been first class. From the consultation where everything was explained clearly and without pressure through to the politeness of the staff but most of all the sheer brilliance of Dr Nafees who carried out my treatment. Rarely have I come across someone who knows their craft so well. Professional, courteous and skilled in equal measure I can’t recommend him and his practice highly enough. I have just had my final session and my implant looks completely natural as if the original tooth was still there. Dr Nafees has to be one of the best dental implant specialists in the country so I’m fortunate to have used him rather than my own dentist. 100% recommended.

Negative experience: This review is based on customer service , I can not comment on their dentistry as I haven't got that far with them. I have sent a number of messages , on Facebook ect and also commented on their Facebook posts and after 2 weeks still not heard anything from them. You shouldn't have certain contact streams if you can't service/reply to them, utterly pointless in my opinion. I did have high hopes for this place.

Fantastic experience: I've almost completed my treatment for some cosmetic dentistry at Manchester Dental and I cannot praise Dr Nafees and his team highly enough. From the welcome in Reception to the aftercare, all staff demonstrate first class customer service. Fantastic experience: Dr Zafees and his team were extremely friendly when I went for a dental implants consultation. They made me feel extremely welcome and did all of the consultation free of charge whereas other places would charge you for every little thing. He was very thorough in explaining things to me and walked me through both options for my person circumstances and we agreed on what was best. His assistant Rachel was always in contact with updates and the best ways to accommodate my calender to fit me in. Would definitely recommend this place and the team to anyone thinking of implants. Overall financial wise they offered the best pricing compared to others.

Fantastic experience: I had my Invisalign treatment here with Dr Ali and am so happy with results!! Having bad braces before as a teenager this treatment was a lot better and more discreet. It has given me more confidence with my smile. He was very thorough and professional at each of our appointments and made me feel at full ease. I also brought my son here for his first ever dental appointment and Dr Ali was so gentle with him, it was such a good experience - would recommend him and the practice to everyone.

Negative experience: Good luck to anyone who ever needs to get a refund from this practice as the owner of the practice is the ONLY person allowed to do refunds! First occasion my husband got overcharged £80. I had to chase this request for 4 weeks as nobody ever returned calls, then to be told he was on holiday so I would have to wait for his return! My husband and myself decided not to return. Last week they charged my 17yr old son £40 for a check up (under 18 is £15). Once again was told it would take upto 28 days for a refund! Told them this was unacceptable and asked for a cash refund of £25 which was finally agreed. Called in to collect cash, kept me waiting, the practice manager came out with the receptionist (Rachel) and she did not even offer her apologies for the error it was left to the receptionist to say we’ve done this as a “good will gesture” and all your family details will be removed from the system! Seriously??!! where's the good will when it was their mistake and they owed me £25 what a joke! Unprofessional! COME BACK BELINDA……shame as Mo was a great dentist.

Positive experience: Dr Owais put me at my ease as I was extremely nervous. He was very conscientious and took great pains to perfect the end result which was some porcelain veneers. This has given me a great smile.

Negative experience: Not suitable for children with special needs. Had one of the worst experiences of my life there but not one person, especially the manager, cares. I went in and came out feeling so uncomfortable, but straight away the practice stuck up for the dentist and for themselves in general and completely dismissed my feelings and concern for how myself and my daughter were treated. It's actually worrying how little I was taken seriously. And I was charged for the pleasure twisted.

Negative experience: Poor service. Arrived at 08:55 for a 09:00 appointment. Filled in details for their patient information and then waited and waited and waited. There was no front of house or receptionist so at 09:20 I had to walk around the practice to try and find somebody. I eventually found a staff member and asked how can the first appointment of the day be so late to which her reply was the dentist hadn’t even arrived yet. Apparently he was stuck in traffic (on a Saturday morning I very much doubt it) I was then told that the motorway was shut so he’s running late. A quick google search told be no motorways were shut. At 9:35 and still no sign I decided enough was enough and cancelled my appointment. This was a consultation appointment for a brace which would cost me £2k+. First impressions are everything so I’ll be spending my money elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: What would make a person travel 3hrs 15min to a dental practice? I’m glad you asked, allow me to tell you. I don’t normally leave reviews, wheather negative or positive, or rate services, that’s just me, but I feel compelled at this point in time to break all protocols and leave an honest, genuine and true review/feedback account of my experience at Manchester dental practice. I live In Cambridgeshire and have been searching for a top class dental surgery/practice who would be able to accommodate my unique bespoke dental requirements. I wanted diamonds and gold crowns fitted baby! Having spent hours on end browsing the internet, ringing more than a dozen different practices in search for what I was looking for, only to be told “sorry we cannot help you” it became apparent at this point what I required was in a niche market and a specialist service which most dental practices could not offer, neither were they able to advice or point me in the right direction. I was about to give up on all hope in finding a dental practice who could give me what I wanted. With a little perseverance I finally stumbled upon Manchester dental website, I read the whole of the website at least three times over, clicked on all their links and was super happy with what I read and the extensive services they were able to provide. I was particularly impressed with the array of before and after illustrational pictures of real customers, real testimonials, and pictures of diamonds, gold caps/crowns, windows, gold crowns with initials engraved on it, you name it they did it, I finally found what I was looking for and spoilt for choices too. Over elated, I immediately called them up and was greeted with the most professional, polite and extremely helpful receptionist who wasn’t tired at all to answer my endless list of questions. She booked an appointment for me, I showed up to the appointment and was put under the handsome care of Dr Nafees Zakir, who is the owner and principal dentist for the practice. In the past I have had some very bad experiences with dental practices, and as a result, have become a nervous and anxious person when it comes to visiting the dentist, for this reason I don’t make appointments to visit the dentist for check ups. My experience of Dr Nafees Zakir, as a dental surgeon and a person is, he is very polite, respectful, gentle, patient, understanding, and above all, he knows how to make you feel welcomed, valued, relaxed, anxious free, and comfortable in his chair. But the greatest part of my dental experience is the PAIN FREE experience I experience whenever I visit his practice. I cannot vouch for any other dentist/surgeon within his practice, because no other dentist has worked on my teeth, this review is purely based on my experience with Dr Nafees Zakir. He gave me a set of eight beautiful gold and diamond teeth which came out beautiful and better than what I had imagined. (I am contemplating having more work done). He also gave me a full oral health examination check up, and extracted a back tooth which was paining me and decaying below the gum line, when he said to me the extraction was completed I said to him “are you sure” he said “yes we are all done” I looked at him with amazement in disbelief, in under a minute he extracted a back tooth and part of a root from another tooth which was left embedded in the gum from a previous tooth extraction performed by a different practice, I DIDN’T EVEN FEEL A THING WHEN HE EXTRACTED THE TOOTH, it was all over before I had a chance to be nervous about the extraction. Dr Nafees Zakir has restored my confidence in going to the dentist for regular check ups and all the other necessaries. Manchester dental, is now my go to dental surgery and I will continue to travel 3hrs 15min even for simple check ups, and basic work etc, because of the level of care, service and professionalism Manchester dental has displayed toward me. Please note, nobody leaves a positive review if they have had a bad experience with a dental practice, think about it. Thank you Dr Nafees Zakir

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience here and would like to thank dr Mohammed Zeiton, I had some fillings, whitening and composite bonding done and he was very kind and professional and did an absolutely amazing job on my teeth. Everything was explained simply to me and he creates a very calm atmosphere which is great for the dentists. I would definitely recommend for anyone to visit him and the practice

Fantastic experience: Having visited 4 dentist to fix the gaps in my teeth, I was told bridges were not an option. However, I visited Manchester Dental after reading their excellent reviews and I am very pleased with my decision. From my first visit, the Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, in particular Belinda who was extremely helpful and explained everything to me in a professional and friendly manner. The bridges were done by Mr Mohammed who did an excellent job and was also very informative and friendly. His bridgework was highly praised by the Orthodontist at Tameside Hospital when I went back there for my final visit. The practice was also immaculately clean and had a welcoming atmosphere thanks to Belinda and her team. I would highly recommend Manchester Dental. Thank you Belinda, Mr Mohammed and your team.

Fantastic experience: I found the practice to be immaculately clean, and very well presented. The expertise of the Dentist was fantastic, he was able to discuss lots of options on how I could improve my mouth. The staff are friendly efficient and keen to help. Another positive was the practice is very well equipped meaning I didnt have to go elsewhere for scans or specialist xrays. The range of cosmetic procedures is very comprehensive. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Fantastic experience: Staff and facilities are great. I was booked in for a wisdom tooth extraction after having repeated issues with it. The surgery went fine, but I unfortunately had issues with an infection and swelling the weekend after the extraction. I called the emergency number several times for advice. Belinda was great and provided loads of help and advice on Sunday and I was booked in first thing Monday morning for a check up. Can't praise the staff and Belinda enough. Really helped to have the knowledge of the staff to draw on when I needed them. They even called me on Monday evening to see if I was feeling any better. Brilliant service.

Negative experience: Second review, after I had corrective work done by dentist and a friend back home. The two vs one star is as reception and staff are extremely nice. I don't recommend dentist (lady) who worked on my two bottom teeth (had 4 fillings there in total)in spring 2020. Before owner says it's minor adjustment that was needed - NO, I came back twice - in pain. Was given anesthetic twice, and both tooth filed down where I tried my best to stress problem was greater than that. Where problem was that tooth decay was left in both bottom teeth and only taken off partially.You would not believe it. Completely unacceptable and quality of my other two fillings is not great I was told. Expensive/ painful / bad experience. Luckily both tooth were saved and 5 months after I'm no longer in pain.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Hafeez for his amazing work on my teeth. For someone who used to hate the dentist and would avoid going at any opportunity, he has made me feel so comfotable and i no longer have the fear I used to. Hes so professional and patient and i couldnt be happier with the results. Thanks again xx
