Fantastic experience: My family have been patients at the practice for many years, recently I saw the newer dentist Neema, after having been treated by Alyn for a very long time. Neema was great, providing great emergency treatment and then root canal and crown - he was excellent and checked in between treatments that everything was good. Really would recommend these guys.

Fantastic experience: I have made around 7 visits to Pontcanna Dental Care recently, as I had broken / lost some molars and was struggling to eat. The level of care provided at Pontcanna Dental Care is quite unlike anything I've experienced elsewhere. Charlie is kind, patient and very reassuring during consultation, and while working on the teeth. He explains all options clearly without pressure, or any 'upsell'. My mouth feels entirely different now (I didn't realise new molars could feel this good!), and I am able to eat normally and with enjoyment once again (and have stopped accidentally biting my tongue and the insides of my mouth). Neem and Jade made me feel at ease and comfortable from the beginning. I was having a crown replaced, excellent treatment and a 3D scan of my teeth was fascinating to see! I have been with this practice for some years now and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I've had a wide variety of dentists and this one is by far the best!

Neema is an artist as far as I'm concerned, I've had three crowns, and my bite has never been better. They're incredibly well equipped and are able to make any procedures as comfortable as possible, which is perfect for anxious patients like myself. If you're anticipating a lot of treatment, the premium membership is well worth the savings.

Fantastic experience: After putting off seeking dental care for many years following past bad experiences, I can honestly say that Pontcanna Dental Care have changed my whole outlook on going to the dentist. After stating on my pre-arrival form that I was a nervous patient, Charlie was incredibly understanding and supportive throughout the consultation and all follow up appointments. There was no judgement from him or the team at any stage, they made clear I was in full control of what was happening in the chair and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and in no pain for the duration of the appointments. I honestly believe if every dentist shared this approach, no one would ever put off seeking dental care! Fantastic experience: Nothing is too much for this dental practice, and the patient's comfort and welfare are foremost in their minds. I actually feel comfortable going to the dentist. Sadly this has not been the case at other pratices in the UK (where they insisted on reclining me so much that I couldn't breathe). Fantastic experience: I tried Pontcanna Dental after not liking the other dentist I was seeing in the area. I originally went in because my bonded retainer had broken and needed to be re-glued but have stayed on as a patient. The whole team is wonderful! I would say I am a medium-anxious patient and I feel really well looked after and communicated with when I am there.

The dentist is very kind and caring. My only regret is not finding this dentist sooner. Hygienist is also extremely thorough best scale & polish I have ever had.
