Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience thanks to Christine at the reception, who was incredibly helpful and compassionate. She acted swiftly to arrange an urgent appointment for me. I’m especially grateful to Dr. Steve Thompson, who went above and beyond by coming in on his day off to see me again. His professionalism and dedication are truly commendable.

Negative experience: I visited the clinic many years ago, but have just been reminded by a friend to leave a review to give a heads up to others. I came to the clinic for a root canal but the dentist performed the operation incorrectly and split my tooth in half, which resulted in the tooth needing to be removed by another dentist.

Fantastic experience: No one looks forward to having to have a tooth removed due to an abscess, especially a molar and I must admit I wasn’t looking forward to it. However, thanks to the experience and expertise of Mark Gullis I needn’t have worried. Not only was the extraction painless, Mark also carried out the subsequent implant procedure, providing extensive technical consultation and reassurance thoughtout. I am delighted with the final result. Thank you Mark and Claire.

Fantastic experience: I am a nervous dental patient and today I finally had to have some dental work done - a tooth extraction. I have been worrying about it for days but I have to say that Catherine handled me incredibly well, reassured me and told me only what I wanted to know (too much info can be a bad thing!). Once the numbing had taken effect she removed the tooth in a matter of a minute completely without any pain. They are friendly, accommodating and I would definitely recommend them. Fantastic experience: My first visit to the practice was wonderful. I was seen by Dr Sonya Qureshi who completed a thorough examination and even offered to clean my teeth as she had extra time! I was quite nervous about the clean but Sonya was very communicative and took things slow and gentle. I’m so happy with my new shiny white teeth and wish I’d booked in sooner. Fantastic experience: The friendliest and most helpful reception staff I’ve ever encountered, and my dentist (Dr Sonya Qureshi) was totally brilliant. Dentist was communicative about my treatment, explained everything to me clearly, was friendly and easy to talk to. Fantastic experience: I have been with Redland rd dental practice for a couple of years now and I wish I’d had made the move years ago. Every member of staff makes me feel welcomed and valued whether in person or over the phone. Their professionalism is faultless and their care is 2nd to none! Uma Nair Davies (my dentist) has been realigning my teeth (a not so small task) and the results are literally life changing… I’m smiling more and enjoying doing more! I have even had people I barely know, comment how lovely my teeth are. I really can’t give enough praise to Uma and all the team who support her.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for the last 12 years , and I would like to thank Uma Nair Davies for her complete professional approach and care that she has shown me throughout this time. The results of my teeth are absolutely wonderful and I have had many lovely compliments about them. Fantastic experience: From first contact with the receptionist on the phone I got the feeling that this was a nice practice. I was right! The initial assessment with Steve Thompson my dentist was thorough and realistic. My treatment today was pain free and I got to relax. My visit to Adam Taylor was actually enjoyable! He was knowledgeable, gentle and kind. I am pleased to have found this practice after my previous dentist retired.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the Redland Road Dental Practice since I came to Bristol 48 years ago. In all this time I have had only three Dentists from the practice, all of whom have been superb, one being Katie Spalding. Katie is a fantastic Dentist with a careful and sympathetic bedside manner. I am demanding in my expectation of professionals, but this practice is the tops.

They saw me quickly as I had toothache which had not been resolved by my previous dentist and I have been very impressed by their efficiency, diagnostic skills, up-to-date equipment and kindness.

They take a real interest in their patients, make you feel extremely comfortable and have a real respect for their patient's experience at their surgery. The surgery is clean, comfortable and bright. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at the practice for several years now and would totally recommend Dr Uma Nair Davies and her team. I've just finished clear aligner braces with Uma and am utterly thrilled with my results. Uma is calm, patient and realistic as to what can be achieved, she is transparent about procedures and has your best interests in mind when advising. I'm quite nervous about dental treatment but Uma is a brilliant dentist and I trust her completely. My teeth are now in a much better state than when I first came to the practice and look forward to keeping up my oral hygiene routine and feeling confident about my smile. The receptionists are also super helpful and efficient - a pleasure to deal with.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would!!!! After 12/13 years of hating my teeth I had a consultation with Uma to see what could be done, after a thorough check up Uma gave me all of my options, gave me a cost and took me through exactly what could/would be done if I decided to go ahead. I decided to go ahead with the 6 month smile plan (knowing that as my teeth were so bad it would probably take 9 months). I was absolutely petrified of going to the dentist and my first appointment was full of anxiety and dread, until I walked through the door and Uma and her team made me feel relaxed, from that day every appointment was so much better, in fact I felt excited about going knowing there would be changes and that it wouldn’t hurt! There was lots to do and every month Uma informed me of what she was going to do/what would need doing and any additional work once the braces were off that needed to be done to obtain the perfect smile I dreamed of, she never kept anything from me and was honest about everything. I could go on and on about the process and the results but I will show you that in the photo, all I have to say is a massive Thankyou to Uma and her team for completely changing my life and confidence, you are all amazing and would highly recommend!!!! Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentist. Every time I go for my appointment the staff are lovely, they tell me exactly what is happening with my teeth and give me any advice I need to improve my dental routine. I enquired about something to be done at my most recent appointment and they straight away helped me, booked me in for the following week to start the treatment I had requested and were so helpful in the decision making process of which treatment I should go for. Compared to other places I have been, the appointments are longer as they go into more detail and routine checks at my appointments and give a lot more advice. All round a great dentist with brilliant staff, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't of asked for better care whilst having a tooth removed. Staff absolutely amazing throughout the entire procedure. I was nervous at first after not visiting a dentist for over 10 years. Can't recommend these guys enough. I also don't usually leave a review, very much deserved after my visit! Negative experience: First trip to this dentist and was greeted by a rude and impatient receptionist. I had not got my exact HC2 details at hand and was offered no direction in finding them and felt rushed and flustered as the receptionist judged me for fumbling around. Had a bad experience to this dentist, would not be recommending them for customer service.

Negative experience: Please be careful. An absolutely traumatic experience. I visited the practice 3 times, experiencing acute pain and burning sensation, I spent over 200£ and was misdiagnosed ALL THREE TIMES. Eventually I had to visit another doctor, who managed to sort out my problem, despite the fact that I had already wasted valuable time at Redland practice. Although I had worrying symptoms, that were getting worse and worse, causing much pain, they never even referred me for the basic medical exams, but instead I was being dismissed again and again, being told I have nothing more than gingivitis which will go away on its own. So please be careful. They may be okay for plain dental procedures, like cleaning your teeth, but when it comes to more severe issues, their service is just disappointing. Absolutely traumatic. UPDATE-RESPONSE: the diagnosis was NOT consistent with the symptoms, as I was told afterwards by a different clinician, who sorted out my problem. Moreover, the medication and advice provided did absolutely nothing for me. I mean obviously, since the diagnosis was wrong and consequently the medication was not the proper one either. I was never even referred for a biopsy or blood exams.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. I was worried about having to see a dentist for an emrgency during Covid but couldn't have been happier with the appointmetnt and the safety precautions in place. Best practice I have been to, the staff were helpful and the dentist fixed my tooth and said not to worry for the moment, come back after Covid for a check up.

Fantastic experience: The team at Redland Road has treated me so well over - what I believe is - the last 8 years. My recent visit with Dr Rum Chahal was no disappointment, in fact, I think she has been the most pleasant of all the dentists I have seen at the practice and my wife made the same comment on return from her appointment only a number of weeks ago. The Reception Team were their usual welcoming selves, too, and made the appointment a quick and easy process. The practice has a very professional attitude, but at the same time being friendly and caring. I'm not one who is overly anxious about the current situation the world is facing, but I will add that the practice seems to have thought of everything to keep individuals safe on their patient journey. I didn't actually cross another patient whilst at my appointment, which is a good sign. Thank you for the service you provide and keep up the great work Christopher Edit - well that'll teach me for not checking postal codes. My apologies Redland Road - you have been very gracious in pointing out my error and also that the review belongs to another practice. I dont think I can remove it, but happy for it to stay where it is... embarrassingly.

Fantastic experience: At the end of last year I opted to undertake the Six Month Smiles cosmetic adult braces treatment at The Redland Road Dental Practice. For the last ten months Uma and her team have provided first class treatment, from the initial assessment and brace fitting, to the regular reviews and adjustment procedures, right the way through to final brace removal, tooth whitening and composite bonding. Not only did I always feel fully informed and engaged at every stage of the process, but the level of professionalism and commitment to delivering the best possible service has been exemplary. Uma always made sure I understood the various options available to me at each step in the process, and went the extra mile to deliver what had been discussed and agreed. The final outcome has been, frankly, incredible. I never thought the treatment would be able to produce such an impressive result; something with which I am genuinely delighted. I only wish I had done it years ago! In my case - which I gather was in fact quite complex - the treatment was actually very straightforward, not unduly uncomfortable, and has given me a fantastic new smile - and a huge boost to my self confidence at the same time! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Uma and her team for their fantastic work. Throughout the entire process I felt fully supported and completely confident that they would take every step necessary to deliver a first class result. Thank you so much. Negative experience: Ok, but the administration was poor, costs were high and the dental hygienist literally shouted at me for not exactly following her instructions! Feels like it's gone down hill. Gone elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: When I moved to Bristol seven years ago, I was very nervous about picking a new dentist. I've had some awful experiences, so took a long time doing research, reading reviews and looking into whether I should go private (even though I was a poor student at the time). This dental practice has gone above and beyond my expectations, and I recommend it to all my friends. The team are all so friendly and professional, and have completely dispelled my previous fears! Fantastic experience: I’ve always had bad experiences with dentists, due to this and moving cities I’ve avoiding attending check ups for many years even though I knew I needed treatment. I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist and due to trauma to one of my teeth, bit the bullet and booked an appointment at redland. I have received excellent service starting from booking my appointment to my first check up. Uma was incredibly patient with me and even worked out a plan where I could start with smaller treatments leading up to bigger treatments to help with my anxiety and to become comfortable with visiting the dentist again. The whole experience was incredibly informative and helped to put me somewhat at ease. I feel much more relaxed about attending my next visit knowing I have a dentist team I can trust. Fantastic experience: My family and I have used this dental practice for over 15 years, and I can't recommend them highly enough. I have awful teeth, and they have a brilliant dentist (Steve Thompson) who specialises in restorative dentistry. Steve has found some very innovative solutions for my teeth and is always very informative, helpful and kind. They also have a brilliant dental hygenist (Ms N Choi) who is also extremely helpful and informative. What I like about this practice is that they accept children on the NHS without insisting that parents are registered as private patients. Charges are very reasonable (and reduced for 18 - 25 year olds).

In addition the reception staff are pleasant and competent, and the establishment is comfortable and informal. Fantastic experience: We have been visiting Mr Obree at Redland Dental Practice for 26 years and he has cared for the whole family in this time. My sons still want to see him when they come back from university not only because he has done such a great job with their teeth but he has always been keen to see how they have got on in life. He also has a great orthodontist to refer them on to when that has been necessary. I have recommended him to many friends when they've resettled in Bristol and they are all delighted with the care they have received from this Practice.

My nearly 2 year old son has been there too and was quite comfortable with his first experience of the dentists! It costs more than NHS but your teeth are worth it ;-)

Fantastic experience: I cannot remember when I joined the Redland Dental Practice but it must be well over ten years ago! In all that time, Lorna Pollock has performed her magic to maintain the health and looks of my smile. She, as well as her assistants, have invariably been professional, pleasant and good humoured. In one word: excellent! For the last few years, the staff at reception has also been helpful and welcoming. I hope its evident success and popularity will not affect the practice negatively.

Fantastic experience: This is a great dental practice with both efficient and understanding admin staff (gold dust!). Nicola Briggs has been the dentist to our whole family for over 25 years seeing us through various life stages, we have always felt very relaxed and 100% confident in her care. If ever Nicola hasn't been available and we've had to see another dentist in the practice we've always been very happy with them too. I moved to Devon 3 years ago but still come back for my dental treatment as I can't bear to leave such a good practice where I always feel at ease.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at The Redland Dental Practice for 40 years and when my usual dentist retired a few years ago, I was a bit nervous at having to get used to a new one. However, I needn't have worried. My current dentist, Mr. Thompson, has completely put me at ease, he goes through all options, treatment and costs and has shown new ways of doing things, which I have found more comfortable. I have always received a very good service and treatment at RDP and in my view, they are excellent. The only thing I don't like is the water trickling down my throat when the hygienist is cleaning my teeth - I imagine it's like a very mild case of water-boarding!!!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been patients at this practice for over 30 years and had Lorna Pollock as our dentist for a lot of that time. We have always found the treatment to be exemplary. My husband had teeth extracted unnecessarily before we came to Bristol but Miss Pollock has always taken pains to explain the treatment and only resort to extractions as a last resort. I had to have a tooth extracted recently. and this was done by Mark Gillis who was equally efficient and professionall. I must also mention the dental nurses who are always kind and attentive and the reception staff who are efficient and helpful. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Our family have been patients at the Redland Road Dental practice for many years. When we came to Bristol we were looking for an excellent dentist who also had time to explain treatments, provide choice and preferred prevention to treatment. Luckily we found Lorna Pollock! The practice has dentists with different specialities so referrals are often within the building with continuity of care. Emergency appointments are prompt (thank you to Steve Thompson who fixed my cracked tooth recently). The dental nurses and admin staff are also helpful.

Fantastic experience: I joined the Redland Road Dental Practice when my previous dentist of longstanding, retired. What a difference. Steve Thompson's approach to my dental demands is thoughtful, methodical and informative. I feel as though I'm really involved in deciding what treatment to have. I've also met several of the Practice's dental hygienists. They too have treated me considerately and - most important - painlessly.

Fantastic experience: Mr Obree is really good dentist for me and my daughter. I have had a lot of treatment over many years and Mr Obree and his team consistently provide high quality care. My daughter is under 18 so is treated under the NHS. I use Denplan which is an affordable monthly payment and this covers all my treatments. Also, Mr Obree has a old duke box in his surgery and you can choose a record to play, yes vinyl. I can't recommend them more highly.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this dental practice since the age of about 11 when Mr Wilkie was my orthodontist and that was over 40 years ago. I did'nt have much say in the matter then but I have never had a reason to leave or think of going elsewhere in my adult years. Dental costs may have risen but the care has been consistently good, especially from my current dentist, Miss Pollock.

I've always been treated with warmth, courtesy and respect and have nothing but good to say about the standard of treatment I've received, the quality of service, the friendliness of the staff...even the RPS parking seems to work out ok! I highly recommend Steve Thompson. A very safe pair of hands and an easy manner and somehow always manages to calm my nerves...and that's quite a challenge!
