Fantastic experience: What an excellent service from Mark, Lee and the team! I honestly cant speak highly enough of every person i came into contact with. Im a stupidly anxious patient, fell over and damaged my front teeth ( worst nightmare), and was referred by my dentist to the Bamford practice. The support team ( especially Gemma and Gayle) were patient and kind. Kept me informed every step of the way. Mark was super supportive and understanding. Lee was clear and really accommodating of my nervousness. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: From the start Mark the dentist was very calm and reassuring and explained everything fully. I had to have a tooth removed but this was almost painless-I’ve had a few teeth removed in the past and this was the least painful by far. A good experience from all the other staff as well. Easy parking right next to practice also helps

Fantastic experience: Its been around a month since I've had my new implants and I'm extremely happy with the results and my experience. I required a sinus lift proceedure prior to having two implants. I was put at ease straight away by Mark and his team, the process was explained clearly and carried out over several appointments.

Fantastic experience: Took Mum here for a hygiene as she has not been impressed at other places. My Mum was really happy with the service and treatment and says thanks to Jen and the two Dental Nurses for being so kind and attentive. She now has a happy mouth. Update July 2025 Mum has just gone in today for a filling. Mum says Dentist Haider is an expert in his field and his Punjabi is very nice. He worked very diligently and patienty. She is very pleased with the treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had 2 dental implants with Mark Edmondson at Bamford Dental at the beginning of the year and I am absolutely delighted with them and would recommend Mark to anyone considering this procedure! I am a very nervous patient and was absolutely terrified to be honest but I had no pain at all during the surgery and everybody at Bamford is so lovely and professional that I felt relaxed and confident.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Bamford Dental practice highly enough. From my first appointment I was made to feel comfortable and Mr Edmundson and his team spent a great deal of tie putting together an extensive treatment package for me. Whilst there were no quick fixes, every step of my treatment was fully explained. I had some quite lengthy procedures including a sinus lift and several bone grafts, but none were painful and the aim was to future proof the end results. I couldn't be happier with how my teeth now look and I have more than just my smile back. I can't thank the team enough.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this dentist for 4 years now and every single visit has been such a happy experience. Every single one of the staff are so lovely, from the women on the reception to the orthodontic staff. There are two women I want to give a special mention to. One is … she’s so professional and you can tell she’s the real deal. The other one is … every single time without fail she is so nice and welcoming and always makes sure that I’m comfortable. Literally always smiling and always happy to see all of her clients and her vibe is immaculate, she really raises your spirits. Her energy is always unmatched. Also, every time I have been, there has been a different assistant in the room and they are always the most polite people. Any issues I’ve ever had have been solved immediately and it doesn’t take long to get an appointment. I applied to get my braces and had them done one month after my consultation. Now, my braces are off and my teeth are perfection, like a Hollywood star’s. I recently broke my retainers and they got me in so quickly, within a week. Overall 10/10 experience every time.

Negative experience: Posting this on behalf of my mother (in her 60’s); “My visit to the practice for a routine filling replacement with Dr. Katrina turned disappointing due to unnecessary additional treatment advised and rushed into, in the same allocated time. The procedure left me in intense pain, lasting weeks and subsequent attempts to address my concerns, including a scheduled follow-up, were delayed and sub-par at best. This experience has left me feeling misled and questioning the professionalism and care standards of the clinic. I had hoped for transparency and accountability but am left waiting for an appropriate resolution”

Negative experience: not sure denist was fine but i was going as teeth are very poor condition basically felt i was given no options either implants or no teeth there happy too keep me on books for my wellbeing which i GREATLY APPRECIATE dont know if a miscommunication but limited options

Fantastic experience: Brilliant job done by Mark Howdell and Mark Edmondson in not only sorting some really complex problems I had with my very worn gnashers, but most importantly, giving me back my confidence and smile. Every step of the way over 18 months was carried out carefully and diligently and was fully explained. It was a painstaking, complicated and thorough job they did and the result is outstanding. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs implant procedures carrying out. They have worked miracles on me. Fantastic experience: Dr Mark was excellent with me throughout all of my visits at Bamford Dental Practice, offering great help, advice and attention to detail, finally leaving me with a perfect looking implant. Katie, Gemma, Ari and Drew were also some of the staff present for my many visits and they were also extremely helpful as well as making me feel comfortable throughout. Fantastic experience: Starting from my initial consultation, my experience has been first class. After decades of dental issues, aged 70, I was aware that I succumb to total top dentures or explore the implant route. I had a very thorough and honest meeting with Mr Mark Edmondson who filled me with confidence. No promises, no pressure selling and most importantly no sense of blame. The cost initially shocked me, but on reflection I decided to invest in myself for a change and went for it! The best decision ever I recieved a report on the condition of my mouth, a very thorough breakdown of how the treatment would work, the stages of progress, the cost installments at various stages of work. At no time was I left wondering what was happening next. After initially having game changer appointments with Katy, the specialist hygienist in order to get my mouth in optimum condition, the work was given the go ahead. My jaw condition was not good and I had numerous failed crowns, retained roots and failing teeth, therefore my procedure was more intense than usual including extractions and bone augmentation but throughout the 2hour + appointment, I honestly didn't feel a thing, not even the anesthesia injections throughout . A period of recovery was then necessary. Once the implants were deemed successful, Mark referred me to the dentist in charge of the restorative stage, Brian, again he was totally approachable, explained everything and was lovely too. I have simplified the process a bit but after lots if visitsI am now the proud owner of a permanent set of top teeth! They are natural, comfortable and finally I feel normal. I am able to smile without feeling self conscious, I can eat foods like steak, apples, sticky toffee even !!!! I sleep better as my mouth has structure and I'm not scared of people walking in and catching my without teeth in! I can go out without fear of losing a crown, a bridge failing and don't always carry a tooth repair kit in my handbag. I can honestly say that I am eternally grateful to Mark, Brian, Katy , the lovely dental nurses, and finally all the funny, friendly, hardworking reception staff. It has been worth every penny and I would do it all over again . I am so happy with the outcome I feel years younger

Negative experience: Absolutely awful. Treatments cancelled at least 3 times before they take place, appointments that do take place run late and reception staff are incredibly rude.

Maria and her team helped me get a perfect smile in time for my wedding day, even with the pressures of covid limiting face to face visit, Maria always made sure she managed to see me so my teeth would be ready in time for the big day. Fantastic experience: Maria and her team have been amazing throughout my invisalign journey. Before I got in contact with them I had been to many different orthodontics to see what could be done about my teeth and was told it was complicated and would cost me a fortune. I then got in touch with Bamford dental as a last resort and they mentioned invisalign which I didn't think was even possible due to my bite. My journey then started and was done in about 1.5 years which I thought would have been longer and I couldn't be happier, I know love my smile. Thank you

Fantastic experience: This is the first time I have used Bamford Dental Practice for implants and new crowns (but not the first implant that I have fitted). I found the booking procedure, notification of appointments and reception facilities/service plus covid procedures excellent. The implant surgery was conducted by Mark Edmundson in a very professional and safe environment with clear information given to me of the procedure both prior to and during the treatment. The implant surgery was painless and stress free. Ditto for the crown fitting process conducted by Bryan Bennett. The assistants helping in both treatment rooms are all very friendly and carry out their roles professionally.

Fantastic experience: I have recently come to the end of treatment for dental implants and I couldn’t be more delighted with the result. I had lived and worked abroad for many years and the dental work I had received had not been good. In fact, one procedure had probably contributed to the bone loss I had suffered. Throughout the eighteen months of treatment from the planning stage to extractions to the final fitting of the implants, I was made to feel both comfortable and confident. Fantastic experience: Never have I been to a more wonderful dentist! I have been with Bamford Dental Practice for a few years now along with my 4 children. Today was the first time I have needed treatment (other than an annual check up). I was very nervous knowing that I had to have the needle and the dentist was so calming and nurturing that I felt so relaxed. Plus… he was so gentle that I didn’t feel a thing. Also, previously, my 4 children have been very nervous when visiting the dentist but now, they even look forward to going!! Fantastic experience: My dentist kindly referred me to this Dentist to get my tooth taken out as I am extremely nervous. Jonathan Kennair, what a super dentist WOW. Firstly thank you to all the staff, so kind and lovely. I had Conscious Sedation and cannot really remember much, no pain just a blur. I cannot even remember opening my mouth so that is totally good. I would totally say if you are really nervous this is the place to be. I could be back in a heart beat if needed. Fantastic experience: What an excellent experience i had today at this dentist where I took my dad through the emergency dentist scheme. Reception staff were so polite and helpful. The dentist made us feel welcome and was ever so gentle with my dad who had to have a tooth extracted. She explained the process clearly and precisely and even put my dad’s mask back on his face and his woolly hat back on his head. Fantastic experience: The treatment I received was first class. I had 2 implants which seat my upper 4 front teeth and a 4 tooth bridge seated on my lower canines. Now denture free for the first time in 45 years!!! From the minute I walked through the door I knew I was in good hands and had made the right decision. Friendly and professional throughout your told exactly what’s going to be done at each stage. From the first x rays and scans to the final fitting. Fantastic experience: I found the team at Bamford Dental Practice professional and informative throughout my journey with them. I had implants fitted abroad and unfortunately they had failed. I was referred by my dentist to BDP. After examination, due to the type of Implants I had had fitted the work to correct the issues was problematic and required the possible removal of all the previously fitted implants. Most Practices are understandably reluctant to take on work to correct inferior work by other practice. Thankfully Mark Edmondson and Mark Howdle agreed to carry out the work. With my new implants fitted and the corect hygienic management explained to me i look forward to a trouble free future unlike previously. I would highly recommend all at BDP in particular the two Mark's and Karen for anyone considering having dental procedures. Throughout the process I was kept abreast of the process, everything was clearly explained to me and this gave me confidence I was in good hands. The relaxed atmosphere coupled with professionalism extinguished the anxiety normal experienced with my previous dental visits. Fantastic experience: After almost 18 months of not being able to visit the dentist, I needed a whopping 4 fillings and a cleaning! All treatment was completed within 2 weeks and I now have a shiny new smile . Mr. Burke, Katy, and Abbie, were all friendly, and professional, and all treatment completed to a very high standard. As a former hygienist myself, I was thoroughly impressed that in addition to my dental health, Mr. Burke also conducted an oral health check to assess for cancer, something that many other practices have overlooked. Jen completed my cleaning to a high standard and again, was friendly, and professional, and put me completely at ease. Bamford is an exceptional practice from the moment you speak with the reception team, through to completion of treatment. A full treatment plan is proposed, and all costs clearly explained in advance. Thanks to all involved!

Fantastic experience: I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist, which is why I haven’t been for 27 years! However, I cracked a tooth, which necessitated a visit. When I arrived at the practice, I was starting to really panic. Once I got in the actual treatment room, I was feeling really shaky and distressed and I just wanted to leave. However, Peter Burke and Chloe were really kind to me, and put me at ease. Mr Burke was very clear that I could take my time, and only do what I felt comfortable with. They were both so encouraging and reassuring, so I had time to calm down and actually get through the check-up. I’m happy to say that I went back today for two fillings, and whilst I was still very anxious, the whole experience was very positive. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone, especially if you’re feeling nervous - they have helped me so much and I’m now on the road to finally getting my teeth sorted for good!

Fantastic experience: I have recently had a some complications after a tooth extraction with an emergency dentist and I went to see Mr Bennett who in turn referred me to Mark Edmonson. Mark has managed to squeeze me into his already packed diary and has come up with a treatment plan that's helped to reduce my pain significantly. I cannot thank Mark enough for the help he has given me so far and for the continued support he's giving me. He's my new favorite person! I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We saw dentist Amelia and her assistant who were brilliant, she was very scared and anxious about going and I was sure it was going to end in a meltdown, but Amelia welcomed her in and spoke to her through everything and explained it all by making it fun, she was really relaxed and managed to have some treatment -(without even knowing about it) and left laughing and happy and saying she is no longer scared of the dentist. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Bamford Dental Practice is a dental and hygienist practice that I trust completely. I travel quite a long way to come to this practice as do two of my three children (although my third child has had treatment at Bamford but lives too far away to have it as her regular practice). Tracy, one of the girls on reception has gone above and beyond for me when I had a difficult time. My dentist is professional, funny and always puts me at my ease as does my hygienist. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and can’t praise them enough

Fantastic experience: Can I just say a massive thanks to Syed Hader for being such a brilliant dentist. I made the mistake of turning up an hour early with my 3 children for their appointment. He managed to fit us in early which he didn’t have to do. My kids love going to see him, he makes the appointment fun for them. He puts them at ease, makes them laugh and is such a genuine person. My kids always ask if they are going to see him and want him as their dentist.

Fantastic experience: Mark Edmondson and his dental nurses, Gemma and Charlotte are the best ever. I have not had a tooth extracted for more than 45 years so was very worried to say the least when I was told that I needed to have a large molar removed. Yes I was nervous, worried and a bit frightened if I’m honest, but what I experienced in the surgery was unbelievable. Mark was so calm, gentle and reassuring that I was surprised at my lack of panic and concern. I was in the chair for about 40 minutes and both he and Gemma spoke calmly and quietly to me throughout the procedure, I would recommend Mark and his staff to anyone and everyone! Today I had the stitches removed and again the experience was just as I hoped, pain free, calm and reassuring. If ever I need an extraction again, Mark Edmondson is my hero. Fantastic experience: Having not been to a dentist for some time you can imagine my dismay when huge hole appeared in one of my teeth. I was really apprehensive but Bamford Dental Practice came highly recommended so I gave them a call. After an initial chat with Bryan he referred me to Mark. I decided, after a comprehensive explanation of the procedure, to have an implant. Although quite a lengthy process this has recently been completed and I couldn't be happier. Also along the way Mark explained they could straighten some crooked teeth if I wanted. He passed me over to Nick one of the Orthodontists and I went with the Invisalign treatment. I feel so assured and relieved that I'm now part of the family. So whether it's Bryan and his team looking after me with regular check ups, Mark and Karen following up on the implant, Nick and Lucy the Orthodontists or Lesley my dental hygienist I can't recommend or thank them enough. Fantastic experience: In have had five implants, involving removal of bridge, teeth extractions, bone grafting and finally implants. After researching intensively I decided it was not for me as the procedure sounded quite complicated and painful. How wrong I was. Mark Edmondson’s consultation, explanations and treatment were so professional at every stage that I was able to cope with any discomfort with ease of mind. Negative experience: Horrendous visit with my child today, Appointment with Mrs Mcnally, spoke to us with a Condescending tone, then with zero warning or explanation stuffed a very large mold into my child's mouth leaving him panicking and not able to breath. A simple direction of what to expect should have been given. I am never returning and would never recommend, I am still upset.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Mark Edmondson ‘s over 20 years he had worked on replacing my left front upper tooth 20yrs ago and 18 months ago he replaced an implant on my left upper teeth to replace upper bridge implant to replace a missing tooth with great success . Just recently my front implant was loose and Mr Edmondson removed the outer implant too save any gum disease and it took his patience to remove and reset it temporarily so he could take an X-ray to make sure it is fitted back in the correct position and during this procedure I was being reassured by Mark and his assistant Charlotte how well I was copping as this had been a lengthy experience .I am due to go back for my final fitting next week. The practice were very courteous during this time of Covid.

Fantastic experience: 9 years ago I had to have a front tooth removed. I tried to manage with a false tooth with a bridge but, it was horrendous. I was advised to try an implant and Bamford dental was recommended. Although expensive I went a head and today 9 years later I went for a check up (bit late leaving it 9 yrs) and the tooth was as if it had just been done. This was done to the expert job done by the dental team. I made a good decision all that time ago. I have suffered with gum health for many years and today it was explained to me in layman's terms the importance of keeping good oral hygiene. I am more than happy to recommend.

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise my dental hygienist Lesley enough! She’s extremely knowledgeable and has passed on very useful advice to me which has resulted in my teeth and gums being in far better condition than they were when I first started attending the practice. No more bleeding from my gums every time I brush my teeth. She doesn’t just do her job, she cares about each of her patients as individuals. She’s a credit to her profession and an asset to Bamford Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: During the course this year, I have attended Bamford Dental Practice to have two dental implants installed. This required extraction of remaining roots and some very sophisticated examinations and analysis. Every step of the procedure was carefully explained before an activity was carried out. What I might experience afterwards was also fully explained. The team (and it is a team effort) made me feel very relaxed and the final result was even better than I expected. Part of the treatment was carried out during the Covid 19 crisis and again this was handled very well and at no time did I feel at risk.
