Fantastic experience: Feel blessed to find this extraordinary dentist so near me in Birmingham, by chance when i had an emergency. I broke a tooth during weekend. Called them 9am monday, they saw me at 9.30 to assess the tooth and recommend a course of action, then had me back in by 2pm and performed the (very difficult 2hrs) surgical extraction the same afternoon. Dr Jas took photos to show me exactly the state of the tooth, and took long time to patiently explain the situation and potential options and what he recommended. He then demonstrated tremendous skill and expertise in the surgical extraction itself - zero pain or swelling afterwards which seems extraordinary. I am not going back to my old dentist - all of the staff from receptionist to Dr Jas made me feel reassured and confident I've come to a top calibre place. He also has a tremendous passion for and grasp of the latest technological developments - this surgery feels like stepping into the future. Finally - anybody can study academically, but being really good with your hands is a talent and gift you need to be born with - Dr Jas excels in this. A very special dentist - feel very lucky to find him.

I visited Dr Jasleen Bhopal with an emergency dental problem which was causing me significant pain. Dr Bhopal undertook his detailed assessment and presented to me a range of options. What I valued the most was his expert opinion and the time we took discussing the pro’s and con’s of each treatment. He made sure I had all the information to make an informed choice. Most importantly, I was able to trust his recommendation during a stressful time. After that visit, I have been back to Dr Bhopal for a full dental assessment where we planned a series of treatments to help pro-actively manage the health of my teeth. I’m now in a position where I have a healthy smile. I’ve presented Dr Bhopal with some technical challenges and at each juncture, his skill combined with the latest techniques, have no doubt delivered me the best dentistry care I can get. Fantastic experience: My initial visit to this practice was a very pleasant one. I was immediately impressed by the professional and polite attitude of all staff including Dr Dattani , Dr Bhopal , Dr Hanji , Andra and Renu. They are all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The practice is immaculate with very high standards of care. It is easily accessible with nearby parking ( usually difficult in Bham City Centre ) My entire plan was explained carefully with clear costs. I look forward to continuing my treatment here .

Negative experience: I called this dental practice as my son wanted to see a hygienist, I was convinced by the eloquence and professional manner of the reception, who stated they had a specialised cleaning system, and no time limit is set. The appointment was at 11.00am, he came out at 11.18am! Taking into account the walk to and from the room, introductions, presumably a check of teeth and gums my son had his teeth cleaned, scaled and polished for, I will give a generous maximum of 15mins for, £100!!!! Really?? There is no way his teeth could have properly been cleaned in 15mins! The only reason I've given 1 star is the excellent professionalism, understanding and work ethic of the receptionist, Renu. I did complain on returning home and received a call back and offer to go back to the practice to voice my complaint. However, this should not be necessary. Surely a clean costing £100 should be a minimum of the 30 minutes to ensure customers feel they are getting value for money. It can not be expressed enough in the current nonchalant work climate that Renu is a credit to the establishment and that's an understatement!

Fantastic experience: The best dental experience I've ever had! The practice is well run, from the moment you book with a comprehensive medical check and online consultation which gives the practice so much information to tailor the experience ahead of arrival. On arrival all staff are extremely attentive and it's a happy place to be, you are offered a tea or a coffee as well which is nice. The practice runs like clock work, has all of the latest equipment to offer the highest levels of dental care possible. My mouth was 3D scanned, x-rayed to check my wisdom teeth as they are growing ok correctly and Dr Jasleen sat with me went through all of the results and gave me a treatment plan and explained the options available as well as giving pros and cons of each and worked with me to select the best plan of action for the current stage. I also had a hygiene clean to remove stains which I'd recommend the clinic is very gentle so there is no discomfort that I experienced. Lastly I had an Invisalign consultation as well to illustrate how much smile could look like after some orthodontic treatment. All in all an excellent experience and could not have left happier.

Negative experience: Felt like this place had very good reviews. Unfortunately when I went they decided I needed 3 fillings which were 647 pounds on my first visit which alarmed me as It felt a bit depressing when I do regularly get checked that this had happened all at once (also VERY PRICEY!!! BUT alas thats english dentists for you). So I decided to fly back home to Mallorca as I go to an extremely good dentist there - and do the work there as I didn't feel for some reason very comfortable with that place and I wasn't sure why. On retrospect THANK GOODNESS I did because this woman was willing to drill into half of 3 of my teeth and it turns out it wasn't decay but decalcification which I have had for years. This is apparently something that could stay stable for ages and something a more I am sorry to say but a more knowledgable dentist wouldn't touch. I asked why would this new dentist in Birmingham want to do fillings then, how on earth did she not think that it could be decalcification and I got her to check it 10 times, and she did say well to give the benefit of the doubt and if she hadn't seen previous xrays she might have been acting safe but by their protocol there is for decalcification they wouldn't drill into teeth unnecessary as it can stay like that for years and quite honestly that makes a lot of sense to me! So word of warning - don't trust the work they tell you to do and get a second opinion. I was a bit in shock yesterday to find this out. I had said I was going to use them for teeth cleaning but quite frankly after this I will not use them at all. Another quite scary thing is when she told me I needed the 3 fillings she made this remark - "just so you know we don't do metal fillings here they are ceramic?" To which I thought what a dumb comment cos I thought nowhere in the world have they done metal ones since the 80s so that made me feel quite uncomfortable using them too and thank goodness it did as I just saved my teeth for unnecessary drilling and 600 pounds. I had also had quite a few money shocks that month and actually got depressed and took to my bed because of this erroneous prognostic AND had to pay for flights in a rush to go to Spain ALL in all for absolutely nothing so obviously unimpressed is a hugeeeeeeeee understatement/ Regarding to the comment of my dentist being kind towards their error, I had also been going to another dentist in London who also had taken Xrays and would have also seen these shadows as they have been there for years and they DID NOT suggest I filled them either so it is an extremely kind benefit of doubt comment my dentist made. - In answer to you're response. No, I will not be calling you. Why would I waste more time than I have already on on your mistake. I have explained a very detailed explanation to what you told me I needed, and have wasted 160 pounds on flights - and time to come and sort this out, and had to change my plans to do so. If anything you could pay for the flights and my time. but I don't suppose that will happen. If you want to understand what happened please re-read my review. I don't think there is a lot more to say - I just hope you are more careful next time and and hope it was a genuine mistake rather than money tactic. And well, you say you take care, I hope you take more care. On 24 may I fealt the need to prove I was indeed client of your dental service the fact you pretended I wasn't shows how dodgy this dental practice is. As you can see I PAYED 90 quid for them to tell me erroneous information and want to get rid of half of three teeth for no good reason. I would in fact like my money back for that appoitnment and if not will be taking this to the ombudsman so they can work on geting it back from me! <~~~~ I await response you have one month

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience! Why? Post a root canal procedure (at another dentist) I had tooth ache on and off for 18 months after. I complained and visited my usual dentist who just gave me X-rays (he could see nothing wrong) and antibiotics each time . I got to the point I just wanted the tooth removed. Instead of going to my usual dentist I made an appointment at GHD for a second opinion . He took the time to work out the issue, he said the root canal was perfect but it was likely it was food getting stuck between the teeth causing the issues. I had been flossing BUT dental floss wasn’t good enough. He gave me angled dental tips and since then not a single day of pain!!! Brilliant. It’s refreshing that he offered a simple solution that worked. Lots of integrity! Won’t go anywhere else now

From the most warm and welcoming greeting from Renu at reception who helps keep me on top of my appointments, through to Dr Bhopal who is an absolute perfectionist at what he does and his dental nurse Halima who just knows what to do without needing to be asked twice, has made my experience going to the dentist a 100 times better. I find it reassuring that All treatment and future treatments have been explained to me in great detail and I also enjoy that I get to see pictures/ progress of how my teeth are moving with Invisalign. Fantastic experience: I went to have my dental treatment for the first time in the UK and I can say that I was so happy with their customer service and cleanliness starting from the receptionist Renu who was very welcoming and professional and makes great coffee, to the Dentist Dr Bhopal who makes you feel at ease which is perfect for me as I'm nervous. I required follow treatment which was clearly explained and all options were provided to me and was given time to decide. The building and decor is so beautiful, it is worth visiting to get some pictures for your Instagram. I never believed I would say but I look forward to my next visit at the dentist.
