Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. I’ve been a patient of Richard Stockwell for over 30 years, Ashok Ratti is currently providing excellent care for myself and my son’s aligners and we couldn’t be better looked after by everyone. A great personal service from all the staff, Louise and the ladies behind the desk included. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in, Louise was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately set a positive tone for my visit. I usually feel quite anxious about dental appointments. Her friendly conversation and calm approach genuinely made me smile, a feeling which I don't I normally associate with dental visits! My appointment with Dr Nikhil was extremely professional, and the quality of care and work was exceptional. He took the time to thoroughly answer my questions and explain everything clearly. I really appreciated that he talked me through all the available options, carefully weighing up the pros and cons of each treatment, without any pressure to make a decision. This made me feel informed, respected, and comfortable. The dental nurse was also very kind and attentive, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the appointment and well looked after at all times. I am very grateful to the entire team for such a positive experience and would highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially those who feel nervous about visiting the dentist.

Fantastic experience: the clinic was able to fit me in as a new patient with an emergency appointment (on christmas eve eve no less) & within 24h my troublesome tooth was gone - dr jatan & the wider team from the receptionists to the dental assistants / nurses were all exceptionally considerate, professional & patient with me, & highly conscious of needs of neurodivergent people! after a string of awful experiences at previous clinics & traumatic extractions this was such a massive relief, i felt i was in great hands the entire time, & will hopefully be back for more routine care :)

Mary who is my hygienist is delightful, very compassionate, polite and friendly, who again shows a deep level of care in her work. Fantastic experience: I cannot fault the dental practice at all. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond. After recent treatment Louise (Reception) could see I wasn't feeling well and straightaway gave me glucose tablets. I rang this morning because I've chipped a front tooth. Spoke to Louise on Reception and I had an appointment this afternoon. Louise is so lovely on the phone and in person. That said, all Reception staff are lovely, so are the dental nurses and dentists. I saw a different dentist today who was fantastic. Emergency appointment but I never felt rushed. I'm a nervous patient but this practice is helping me overcome this. Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: We have been using this dentist for quite a number of years, I've recently been taken on as a patient by Priyanka Haria. Priya has really impressed us with the use of new and innovative technology in order to communicate our dental needs, her attention to detail is fantastic, she takes the time to explain the treatment options available and the pros/cons of each. Fantastic experience: Speaking with Louise on the phone I received the warmest welcome and genuine empathy as a new and nervous patient. She was even nicer in person if that was possible. She went over and above getting me an appointment with Pav super quickly. Pav was super welcoming too and so informative. Clearly a master at what he does with warmth and compassion combined. I am so lucky to have this opportunity to join a great practice with an outstanding team.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dental care from Ash and the dental nurses. I recently had a gold overlay and a ceramic overlay fitted, using 3D scanning technology for preparation. Excellent fit for both overlays and a pain free experience.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Ash who was on time and come out to the waiting room to shake my hand and introduced himself to me which is how it should be done. During the consultation Ash walked me though what was going to take place and asked me how I was doing though the check ,it was reassuring that he said I will be though as that never happens now a days. Ash asked me if there is any questions thought out the constitution and at the end, as well as talking to me about if there was anything found and how to deal with it from my part and dentistry side. Overall I come out of the consultation feeling that a though check was done the proper way. With a bedside manners that made me feel at ease , knowing that Ash knows his knowledge well which is always reassuring to know that you are in capable hands and that you going to getting an impeccable service. Fantastic experience: I was seen by Nikhil Haria who is probably the best dentist I’ve ever met. I had two fillings, one of which was quite big. I hardly felt the injections. Nikhil was very gentle and constantly checked that I was okay. The finished work was of the highest quality. I also want to mention the Reception staff and the dental nurses. All were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Nobody likes going to the dentist but this Practice is an excellent choice for all your dental needs. There’s a very nice Cafe next door also!

Fantastic experience: I am a very anxious patient and I visited today and was seen by a lovely dentist, very softly spoken lady. She really took the time to put me at ease throughout. She explained everything to me as she was carrying out her examination, she then took the time to set out a treatment plan for me to return at my own pace for the work I need carried out. I left feeling positive and that it had been a successful appointment. I would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone who is as nervous and scared as I am.

Negative experience: Another disgruntled NHS customer targeted with a Denplan alternative. Topped it all off by cancelling childrens appointment in school holidays with one weeks notice. No viable alternative until August. Had been booked months ago. Not acceptable treatment for a private paying customer. Won't miss the awful parking options either.

Negative experience: After being a patient at the surgery for a few years, I was informed that my dentist was going to switch to private patients only. This was a huge blow to me as I had started treatment to extract teeth and be fitted for a plate. He even gave me pink slips to go to a hospital, for a full upper exray, because he wanted to extract ALL of my upper teeth! Clearly, as an NHS patient, I can't afford to pay for the upper denture. I have contacted the surgery and was told, they would ask, said dentist, if he was willing to carry on with my treatment on NHS, I've still not heard anything back from them. I'm now left with 6 upper teeth, none of them molars, so at the age of 52, I can't eat properly, and my existing teeth are wearing down due to this. The only positive out of this is that I already suffer from mental health issues, including anorexia, so the inability to eat properly is favourable to my conditions. This area is notorious for having no dental service for NHS patients, so I have no hope of getting the work done elsewhere, I wasn't even considered to be eligible for him to refer me elsewhere. Suffering from social anxiety and many other issues is not being helped by the fact that I feel embarrassed to be seen in public, which I know is only an aesthetic but, it can be dibilitating . I absolutely would not recommend Long Hanborough Dental Surgery to anyone, based on my appalling experience

Fantastic experience: I’m currently getting Invisalign treatment with Dr Ratti and I cannot recommend his work enough, not only does he have genuine passion for what he does. But he always puts 110% into everything and comes across as extremely methodical and well educated in his field.

Fantastic experience: Excellent- I had a failed root canal and infection. It was a privilege to have Pav remove this for me. An exceptional dentist/oral surgeon who immediately puts you at ease, explains clearly what he is doing and is very kind and gentle. Highly recommend him and his excellent assistant. Thank you Pav.

Fantastic experience: Broke my front Crown day before Christmas Eve. I was slotted in as there were no appts available. I was seen by Richard Stockwell. He did a brilliant repair job. The staff were very helpful and sympathetic. So thank you everyone. I had my front tooth for Christmas.

Negative experience: Poor quality work. Had to return 5 times for corrections just in order to be able to chew food again. Had a letter telling me the dentist in question had left so no more NHS. I didnt pay NHS I paid nearly 1.2k for a few fillings. Wont be returning.

Fantastic experience: All my family, 7 in total, have attended this practice and have done so for 15 years, I have always found the receptionist staff friendly and welcoming and the dentists professional and helpful. They have seen us through braces, abstractions and a few fillings and they have always communicated well with my children from their first visits, to now they are adults. Our most recent visits where just before Christmas and we weren't disappointed with the service we received.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Long Hanborough Dental Practise. We joined approximately five years ago and we've only had positive experiences. The staff on the desk are great, they try their best to accommodate appointments to suit our families needs and on the occasional emergency- we have been able to get in on the same day. The dentists are friendly and great with the children. Communication is exemplary and the hygienist is lovely. Overall a family friendly practise who can cater everyone's needs.

Negative experience: I had been visiting this dental practice for many years and had a route canal 3 years ago, I’ve had consistent pain in that region since and been told the tooth is fine and most likely the nearby tooth and even prescribed antibiotics for nearly tooth! Today I visited a new dental practice and had an X-ray and have been shown how poor the root canal was done, only a small region of the root was filled and neighbouring tooth is in a good condition. This is now going to cost me roughly £1000 to have repaired. I would suggest avoiding this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ratti has done a excellent job straightening my teeth with Invisalign. He has always been very professional and supportive with what will happen throughout every stage. I'm extremely pleased with how my teeth look now that I’m at the end of the process. I highly recommend Dr Ratti as a Dentist and Long Hanborough Dental Practice overall. Brilliant service!

Negative experience: Terrible. Contacted the practice some time ago to update my address details. Initially, I couldn't be found, then I was confused with someone else and another address, eventually I was found and told my address was updated. Booked an appointment, no reminders for it, and missed it completely. Interestingly, no contact for cancellation fees either. I do wonder if it was booked properly in the first place. Did have records of telephone numbers for my previous address some time ago (bizarre!) When I called to inform them that I was leaving, they didn't seem interested in retaining my business whatsoever and when I told them why I was leaving (poor service on reception), didn't seem to care about that either. Finally, out of curiosity, asked what address they had on file, it was still my previous address. If they're incapable of finding their customers or changing their personal details, what hope is there? I've since moved practice. The difference is night and day. More than happy to help, knowledgable, and explained things clearly to me. Excellent pricing (good luck finding any NHS dentists these days), booked an appointment, put me on the cancellation list, AND have automatic reminder services and a courtesy phone call the day before your appointment is due. I regret having to leave such a scathing review. In three words, "more training required."

Fantastic experience: Dr Ratti treated me for Invisalign for many months, just to get it right. He was careful, attentive, friendly and professional. He made sure he didn’t jeopardise a particular tooth that couldn’t be moved. The result is great. All in all, I would heartily recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Hina Hussain at Long Hanborough Dental Practice from the sister practice in Wallingford as I have a tooth that may need extracting and possibly replacing with an implant. Hina was very approachable and welcoming, and she took the time to explain clearly and at length what the various options were, what the different procedures would involve, and what the costs would be. I did not feel that I was being steered in a particular direction, and she listened carefully to, and answered, my concerns.

Not a smile with the service and not approachable to say the least .I think She just wanted to leave and go home in all honestly as my app was late afternoon. Our NHS services are under such pressure and I was expecting a struggle so their quick, efficient and fantastic service was so impressive. I’ll pay my taxes this month happily

Fantastic experience: I attended the practice a week ago for a check up and fillings. The reception staff were polite and attentive. The practice had sanitiser pumps on entry and generally very clean. I was a little nervous but Dr. Nikhil put me at ease as well as remaining professional. Fantastic experience: I attended the practice 3 weeks ago to get some Botox treatment. first of all the practice was clean and the reception staff were polite and attentive. I was a little nervous but Hina and Louise put me at ease and were lovely and kind as well as professional. I'm beyond impressed with the results and will definitely be going back again.

Fantastic experience: I recently had Botox done at the surgery by Hina . It’s the first time I have ever had anything like this done. I had deep frown lines (if there was an award for frowning I would have won) and had become self conscious of them. I didn’t know what to expect and was nervous when I arrived at the practice. The staff were lovely and put me at ease, the practice was also spotless. Hina was not only professional and knowledgeable but also friendly. I felt completely comfortable throughout the procedure and Hina was wonderful. It’s been a couple of days since I have had it done and all I can say is that Hina is a miracle worker! My frown lines are pretty much non existent. I would 100% return to this practice.
