Fantastic experience: I can’t praise Lam Dental care enough. I am a fairly new patient to the practice and the staff have been so knowledgable and helpful. They really go above and beyond to ensure that the treatment suggested and given is appropriate and always do their utmost to give timely appointments and follow ups. I have to say that, although I'm still very wary, the kindness and care from all the staff has been brilliant. Negative experience: They offer root canal treatment but they not specialists, did my root canal treatment but unsuccessful Result I been on pain for more than one month no one call from tham to ask, my tooth been on provisional sealant, may be good at other treatments I don’t recomand for root canal

Fantastic experience: This is my ultimate dentist because, The receptionists are great. They know your name. They know why you are there. The waiting area is a delight it’s bright and fresh. Now I see Jonathan and he is simply the tops in his profession. Knowledgeable about my needs. Very careful and above all gentle. He explains as he works so I’m aware of the procedures. Lisa the dental nurse is always there with a smile and a kind and helpful word . Overall Lam Dental Care is the best place too be for complete professional dental care.

Fantastic experience: This is a great family practice. I used to be treated by Alan Lam many years ago, and he's a really nice man. His sons have clearly inherited his good nature. I saw Michael and he really put me at ease, explained what was happening and was just really friendly. The same can be said of the reception staff, fully engaged with you from the minute you walk in the door, and I could hear how helpful they were with people calling in with problems. Lovely place, highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dentist for years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I get very nervous going to the dentist, but the receptionist makes me feel at ease as soon as I walk through the door. Her and the dental nurses are so friendly. Shout out to Michael the dentist too who knows how nervous I am and is reassuring throughout the check up. He explains things really clearly and gives great advice too. I'd recommend this dentist to anyone, especially nervous patients.

We are always welcomed on arrival by Julie before our treatment with either Michael or Jonathan who are both professional, reassuring and explain clearly the treatment we need. They are gentle and compassionate with assistance from the lovely Dental Nurses Gillian and Lisa who always treat us kindly, with respect and also with a sense of North East humour. A visit to Lam Dental Practice is a happy experience where we are treated as people and not numbers. I was met with friendly staff and Jonny checked over my teeth and provided me with my options. I chose to get my tooth extracted and this was done straight away. Fantastic experience: This is the second time I have had work done at Lam Dental by Jonathan, being very nervous about Dentists, Jonathan put me at ease. My most recent visit was to have a very loose molar removed, this was removed quickly and will not too much pain. I have found both Jonathan and the Team really helpful, friendly and considerate of me. I have no qualms about going to the Dentist now.

Both Jonnie and Michael are highly professional and empathetic dentists, highly qualified and trained in their dentistry. The nurses and staff are also a great bunch. They are also very professional and really empathetic to all patients and I am a particularly anxious patient. I have been with this dental practice for approximately 30 years and was originally treated by Mr Lam senior. I highly recommend this practice, for both standard dental care and for complex dental problems as well. You will be superbly looked after.

Negative experience: Following concerns in regard to this Dental Practice, I read the Care Quality Commission Inspection Report that showed breaches of: not providing safe and well led care". I, therefore, would not recommend this Dental Practice until I felt confident all breaches had undergone significant change and imrovement

I'm a really nervous dental patient, always have been, but I felt I was in good hands from the first phone call yesterday and my first appointment with Jonny today. Julie the receptionist is so welcoming, friendly and professional. Jonny the dentist took time to examine my teeth and explain my options for the one causing the problem. The practice is beautifully clean and has a really relaxing ambience. I feel I'm in good hands for the upcoming crown work on my tooth. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has avoided dentists like the plague due to rough dentists in the past, I can honestly recommend this practice 100% . Was in today for a root canal on one of my front tooth and it went so well we agreed to do another filling while we were there. Staff are really nice, the place looks fresh and clean and it's easy to get to. This will be my regular dentist from now on and I'm looking forward to my next appointment and better teeth in the future. Thanks guys

Fantastic experience: I urgently needed some dental help and after calling lots of dentists who were less than helpful I called Lam Dental, who were amazing. Not only did they see me the same day, and arrange further treatment within 48 hours, they even called me in between just to check how I was. I have other existing health conditions so it was really reassuring. Everyone from the reception staff, to the dental nurse and dentists were so lovely and caring. Thanks everyone, and for those looking for a dentist, I really cannot recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Lam Dental today due to severe toothache and left extremely satisfied with the experience. I tend to get anxious in social situations which has caused me to avoid going to dentist's in the past, but the entire staff put me at ease with their friendly and helpful natures. Julie at the front desk provided a warm greeting, while the nurse, Lisa, offered me reassurances. I was really impressed with my dentist, Jonny, who was easy to talk to, clear with his explanations and efficient in his work. Fantastic experience: Had to go through the painful experience of a tooth extraction. Both the dentist and the staff were fantastic and kept reassuring me throughout the process and making sure I wasn't too nervous. They also told me the procedure step by step so I knew what to expect. They also provided some great aftercare. Including instructions on how to help my gum heal at the extraction site and a phone call a few days after to make sure everything is healing fine. Can't recommend them enough, probably the best dentists I've been to. If you want a good private dentist I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call.

Fantastic experience: Been getting on and off toothache for months now and since moving to Durham I did not have a dentist. Came across Lam Dental Care online and saw all of the fantastic reviews. Managed to get an emergency appointment on the same day to find out what the issue was and got me booked in for a filling a few days later. Always had a little bit of a fear with the dentist but Jonathan and the team were brilliant, did not feel any pain and always explained what is to be done before and after the procedure. Everything was so hygienic, covid friendly and professional. I am due to return in a few days for a full examination and when available will be setting up for a dental plan. I would highly recommend Lam Dental Care as your dentist as they will take good care of you!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Lam Dental Practice for several years now, the service has always been 100%. I developed a problem with a bottom tooth, that Michael & his lovely assistant Gillian removed, before I even realised my mouth had been numbed !!! Following on from this removal I had to have 2 coloured composite fillings either side to bridge what gap the extracted tooth had left. To say I am delighted is an understatement, again Michael & Gillian kept me fully informed with what was happening, explaining every detail & stopping to check if I was ok. A great service, in this horrible time of the COVID pandemic, everyone in Lam Dental Care, the PPE worn and room cleaning was exceptional, which reassured me I would be safe, I am one delighted Customer, see you in 6 months for my bi-annual check-up.
