Fantastic experience: My daughters’ overlaps and overcrowding have been replaced by the most beautiful and confident smiles thanks to Hampstead Orthodontic Practice. Service has been impeccable from the friendly and efficient reception staff to the skilled and knowledgeable orthodontic team. All overseen by the brilliant Dr Alvanos. It has been a great investment. I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking to improve their teeth alignment.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service at this clinic. My fixed retainer broke in between Christmas and New Year but I still received a reply and appointment booked for the 2nd Jan when the clinic reopened. I was so impressed that I received a reply even when the clinic was closed. Ernest in particular has been super helpful but the whole team are super friendly and professional. I highly recommend this clinic and won’t hesitate to use again if needed.

I am currently using Invisalign, and my son had braces as well as an overbite device that initially felt quite complex - but the entire process has been incredibly smooth. The team is highly professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. A special mention to Ernest at reception, who always provides exceptional, personalised service. Overall, we’ve felt very well looked after, and I couldn’t recommend this practice more.

Fantastic experience: My son had his first set of dental braces when he was 7 years old, just a month before the first Covid-19 lockdown. Dr. Alvanos and his team at Hampstead Orthodontics Practice have been incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful in guiding my nervous son through the experience. The practice’s patient coordinator, Mr. Nikandrov, has been extremely efficient and helpful in accommodating appointment availability. Invoices and appointments have always been clear from the outset, and everyone at the practice is warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, skilled, and extremely helpful. My son is now 12 years old, with all his adult teeth fully through. He needed some alignment for his canines and has just had his top brace fitted - the nurse happened to be the same nurse who fitted his braces five years ago. She even called the next morning as a courtesy to check how he was doing. We are truly grateful.

Negative experience: I won’t be returning. I’ve been here about three times to get my retainer sorted. A new wire costs £350–£380 — I’ve paid this twice in less than two years. Prior to coming here, I had it done abroad and it lasted 5-8 years. This time, after just 15 months, the bottom wire lost its glue on two teeth. Reattaching it cost £150. The guarantee is only 12 months, so they refused any goodwill adjustment. No sympathy for returning customers, no recognition that this shouldn’t happen so soon, and in my view, the prices are a complete rip-off. They’ve also made me fill in their paperwork twice even though they clearly have my details in their system.

They are caring, conscientious, and have great expertise in treating various cases, as all three of my children have required different treatments. The clinic is run professionally, and we seldom need to spend time waiting for our appointments. Additionally, Ernest has been a tremendous help in providing all of the invoices and letters we have needed for our insurance claims. He always replies and sends everything in a timely manner and is a pleasure to deal with.

I was looking everywhere but just by chance I came across this Hampstead Orthodontist practice They were very helpful and caring to my son and he got his new braces the fit perfectly. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for 6 years as both my kids have had braces at different times and then I decided to treat myself to some aswell. The attention to detail that Dr Alvanos pursues to make sure he gets an excellent result is to achieve perfection. All his staff are as meticulous as he is aswell as being friendly professional and always extremely kind and patient with both myself and my kids. It’s a really great team . If anything has broken with the braces which can happen when the kids had eaten something they shouldn’t have .. you get an emergency appointment on the same day. All our teeth now look great . We continue to go in to the surgery as we have retainers to wear. I believe the first year from when the braces come off you still get checked for free by the practice. I think it’s very good value for the high service and quality you receive and we’re all super happy!.. Thank you All of you !

From the start Dr Alvanos showed confidence in his expertise and offered a reasonable approach for my case. The quotes I received from other practices could be a few times more expensive or I was simply told that my case was impossible without surgery. The overall time I spent wearing braces was a little more than 2 years. The results were impressive and I was very glad to have come here. The result of a 2 years treatment is quite impressive and what I expected to achieve after my first assessment with Dr Angelos Alvanos. Dr Alvanos has been very professional, caring and meticulous from Day 1. He was very clear in his explanation through the entire process, taking the time at each meeting to describe honestly what could be achieved for each new session. He has a brilliant team to help him with all the technical and administrative tasks. Everyone is very responsive, helpful and dedicated, including the lovely Sue, for all the appointments request and the welcome in the practice, and his star assistant, Odelia, among other lovely assistants. The practice is always very clean and very easy to contact by phone or email and it’s very quick to book an appointment to your convenience. My only regret is not to have done the work on my teeth sooner in order to enjoy the lovely result even longer. Thank you to everyone in the practice.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Hampstead Orthodontics and Dr. Alvanos enough! My son had a significant issue with a tooth that was sticking out, and his IOTN rating was quite high, so we were concerned about how long the treatment might take. However, with Dr. Alvanos' expertise and the Invisalign treatment, we saw incredible results in just 8 months. His teeth are now perfectly straight! Dr. Alvanos was thorough, professional, and so reassuring throughout the entire process, making both my son and me feel comfortable at every step. Fantastic experience: I have been very impressed by the professionalism of the whole team at this practice. From Reception to Dr Alvanos’s practitioners. My son has been treated with kindness. Appointments have always been on time within the 3 years of treatment. Reminders with forms were sent ahead of time to make the whole experience very smooth. Results of treatment were as expected. If my other child needs treatment, I will very likely go to Hampstead Ortho without second thoughts

Fantastic experience: One of my teeth was rotating and falling out. I came here to have this rectified and the staff were very professional and gave an exemplary service. The treatment went smoothly and they accommodated any issues very well eg when I broke my brace. At the end of my treatment, my tooth that was totally wobbly is now firmly in place. I cannot recommend them more.

My husband and my kids all go to the hygienist and she explain step by step what she is going to do and also what you have to do to improve. We can’t recommend her highly enough. His attention to detail, and his practicality in suggesting what was needed for each of our children was second to none. we initially spoke to another orthodontist but the solution he proposed was significant and permanent (removing adult teeth) and Dr. Alvanos provided a solution without such drastic measures. all of the staff have also been a delight - we couldn't recommend them more.
