Fantastic experience: Like many people these days we have to go private as there were simply no NHS dentists available when we returned to the area in 2019. That said, your teeth are so important and Hest Bank came highly recommended. They have no disappointed in the slightest. Superb practice with first rate dentists and hygienists and super helpful front staff. For the sake of an entertainment subscription, it’s worth using Denplan (or similar) and going to Hest Bank.

Fantastic experience: Sophia is doing my fix metal brace treatment,I was given all options and facts about every treatment available I wanted metal fixed knowing it would end with the Invisalign or which ever brand is used. I also will have fixed retainers which I wanted and night retainers for life. I had only small movements to be made but very happy with my choices of braces and practisoner Sophia. I would highly recommend her to others never had a problem at all so far. Not quite finished but I don't expect any problems and I feel if any came up Sophia would deal with it fair and practically. I definitely 100 percent recommend her.

This is the first time I have ever looked forward to attending a dental appointment because I know I will receive excellent painless treatment. Every staff member is polite and caring. I highly recommend this practice if you are in need of a dentist. I particularly recommend this practice if you have dentist phobia or a previous negative experience of a dentist, because the care and gentle nature of treatment offered means you hardly know you’re getting treatment - pain and discomfort free!

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient, and going to the dentist has always been an ordeal, consequently I do now need extra help with my teeth. Since choosing Hest Bank Dental Care, I can honestly say that all the staff, from reception to Dentists have treated me as an individual, and although I’m still anxious, I am going to regular 3 month hygiene appointments, and regular 6 month check ups. This is ultimately how Katie, Jake and all the staff make me feel, and when a procedure needs doing, it’s done calmly and efficiently. The appointments always run on time, so I don’t get the chance to ‘stew’ any further whilst in the waiting room. Many, many thanks

Fantastic experience: I would really recommend this practice. The reception area, toilet and surgeries are all clean, well lit and pleasantly decorated. The receptionists are kind and know what they are doing. The dental work has always been good, especially with a recent hazardous issue. The practice don’t bombard you with too many texts as do some dental groups. (It’s impossible to get some practices to stop sending you loads of unwanted texts, even after you have left the practice.) There isn’t much parking room but you can park in adjacent roads. All in all, I definitely have confidence in them, which is very important to me.

Sara the dentist carried out a root canal procedure which she explained everything as went through. Sara and her assistant were really lovely and after having problems for several months with this tooth woke up the day after with no pain at all - thank you

Negative experience: All happy when your new and they think your going to spend alot of money get you on payment plan which i completed but couldnt go to next stage as my job was changed also hours . Now my circumstances have changed back for the better I have asked on 2 occasions now for help and to continue and i have been ignored only interested in making money in my last treatment i was in agony for hours while a guy tried to get a tooth out am not good with people, injections and the whole experience and he kept going and re injecting with no numbing , awful just awful . I will be looking elsewhere for a more understanding dentist . Ps hestbank dental dont bother contacting me

I had a dental implant because of a rare problem that was identified with my own tooth. Pinar was great, and ensured I was fully informed, from my initial consult right through to my aftercare. I have a Denplan agreement in place now so I can continue to receive the care and attention I’ve become used to.

Stuart Johnson my dentist was so caring, I had i bad reaction on my first treatment due to my fibromyalgia never happened before but then again never really had much treatment in past. I needed another treatment but the other side ,so I was very apprehensive obviously.. Stuart spoke other dentist and dental professors and read up as much as possible , we spoke many times and he sent emails with the info etc!! To make sure I didn't suffer.. I had the treatment on 11/8/25 and I haven't had any intense shooting nerve pain at all.. i hoping it continues.. I would highly recommend this practice Thankyou Stuart your a star

Fantastic experience: Since I changed my dental practise to Hest Bank Dental Care I have regained my confidence in dentistry. I see the same dentist each time, who is always friendly and welcoming, as are all the staff. I have needed a lot of restorative work and Pinar has explained and discussed all treatment options as we have gone along. I now feel so much more relaxed about my dental appointments. I know I will need ongoing treatment for some time, but I can now feel reassured that I am in excellent, caring hands.
