Fantastic experience: I had invisalign treatment followed by composite bonding by Dr Vishal Barot and I honestly couldn’t be more happier with the results. I got perfect results, especially when consultations with Dentists at other practices were not that promising and I was given a rather bleak prognosis by them due to my complicated dentition, until I met Dr Vishal Barot at Advent. This has now instilled a huge confidence in me as compared to living with rather disfigured teeth all this time impacting on confidence etc. Its like a new life for me to some extent, all this thanks to Dr Barot. From the very start, everything was explained clearly and I felt completely comfortable throughout the process. The aligners worked exactly as planned, and the attention to detail with the composite bonding was amazing — it looks so natural and has completely transformed my smile. The dentist and team were professional, patient, and genuinely cared about getting the best result rather than rushing anything. Appointments over the 2 year treatment period were smooth, and I always felt listened to if I had questions or concerns. I’d 100% recommend this practice to anyone considering aligners or cosmetic dental work. So glad I went ahead with it. And i highly re commend Dr Vishal Barot. He is a excellent Dentist who knows his art so well.

Connor and Zoe made me feel so comfortable and looked after me and my teeth throughout the whole appointment, they are both such an amazing team. Negative experience: This dentist is highly rude my mum has been going for ages my sister got sick throwing up and my mum could not make it so they were rebooking they did and then cancelled it when my mother called to reschedule they took her off the books! I was in college so no one is there to help her so my mum really could not go and they refused they are highly rude to her on the phone saying they won’t give information she asked for. It is absolutely disgusting and ridiculous I would not go there at all

Negative experience: Made a call to get an appointment. The staff was extremely rude and dropped the phone.

Fantastic experience: My husband had a dental emergency, and we were given a sit-and-wait appointment. The dentist was incredibly kind and professional — he took excellent care of the damaged tooth and made sure everything was handled smoothly. We really appreciate his care and would highly recommend this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: Tom Cough The best dentist to my life experience at Advent Dental He can installed your Crown without readjustment at all. Reliable and fair deal. One thing I don’t like is he don’t issues me a NHS Prescription notes while I m seeing him on an emergency appointment, as pain can’t Wait to the check up appointment. And no normal appointment is available at all at any time. Bear in mind d, I have paid for annum prescription to NHS already, but I still have to pay the private prescription on top at last so many years. Now I m a qualified pensioner but still need to paid for such prescription in private price. If this bit can be re adjusted then he is 100% perfect practice.

Fantastic experience: I originally went to Braintree dental surgery to get a consultation about getting invisuline I found them to be very judgemental about the state of my teeth disheartened I went to Advent Dental surgery where my wife goes and met Vishal, he completely put me at ease and I started ghe invisuline process. 14 months on Vishal has completely changed my smile and confidence I can't recommend Advent enough .

Fantastic experience: I rarely write a review but I am so pleased with the work carried out on my teeth by Vishal that I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Since a child I have always felt self-conscious about the yellow colour of my teeth, add on to that some aging veneers resulting from an accident, left me keeping my lips firmly closed when smiling. Now in my fifties I could afford to do something about it, Vishal talked me through all of the options in a unhurried way and throughout each stage of the process kept me informed of what he was doing and why. He gave good advice informing me of all of the pros and cons to help me make decisions that were best for me. Vishal has left me with a natural looking and much improved smile that I am very happy with. If you are someone who does not like dentists because of a fear of needles I can honestly say Vishals's technique is the most painless I have very experienced.....I was waiting for him to start only realising he had done it when he told me it would take just a few minutes to go numb! On top of Vish's dentistry skill he is the most personable dentist I have even met.

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say that my experience at Advent Dental has completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist—and that’s entirely down to Connor, his assistant, and the front desk staff. I used to feel nervous before appointments, but since being treated by Connor, those feelings have disappeared. Connor has an excellent manner with his patients. He’s warm, friendly, and genuinely puts you at ease from the moment you arrive. What stands out most is how clearly and calmly he explains each step of the process, making sure you know exactly what to expect. He’s happy to answer any questions, and never rushes you. His clinical skills are equally impressive—he works with care and precision, and you can tell you’re in very capable hands. He’s a real credit to the practice.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Emily at the Advent Dental Practice from A&E for emergency work on my teeth, following a traumatic fall from a treadmill. I cannot speak highly enough of Emily and her expertise. Initially she fitted me with a temporary plate then I opted for a permanent Maryland bridge 4 weeks later. I am extremely pleased with the result and think Emily is excellent. She communicates really well, reassures and generally made the whole experience much better for me. Thank you Emily.

Fantastic experience: I had composite veneers created by Dr Emily Reaich . I am over the moon they are perfectly natural. The service has been A* from start to finish. Emily took time to understand what I would like to achieve and she executed it perfectly. Can’t rate highly enough. Thankyou again

Fantastic experience: I am so nervous of going to a dentist, but today Connor and Zoe restored my faith, today I had a tooth pulled and I didn’t feel a thing Connor made sure of that kept asking if I was ok and in pain. Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Advent for 3 years now and I still can’t believe the high standards that they follow. I’ve had so many dental issues from my childhood, this lapsed into almost every corner of my life with infections, broken fillings and endless appointments with various dentists who just weren’t skilled. Some would send me away in excruciating pain with nothing more than a prescription. Tom has not only fixed my entire set of teeth, but improved my everyday life because of it. I no longer have any issues, just upkeep. The surgery is always clean and welcoming. Staff are patient and kind. You’re actually listened to. I would travel from anywhere to visit. This practice should be used as an example for other dentists to experience how a patient can/should be offered quality dental treatment. Harriet has also been 10/10 as well as the hygienist, receptionists and everyone you come into contact with. Thank you always.

Fantastic experience: After 3 days of unmanageable pain and dentists that seemed to not want to help, I was referred here by NHS 111. The whole team were welcoming, friendly and full of smiles. My tooth was extracted there and then and everything was explained to me really well. They made sure I had no pain and I felt really comfortable. They made me feel like they cared. It truly was my best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Thanks to all the team. 10 out of 10

Fantastic experience: I have just had a dental implant fitted by Nihar and he has been a brilliant dentist throughout the treatment. I had been a little worried about the procedure but he explained each step carefully in advance and put my mind at rest. He was very patient and I was pain free!! I thoroughly recommend him and his dental nurse. Best team ever!

Fantastic experience: It's a fantastic dental practice, I switched to here from my old practice a while ago and I'm so glad I did. Everyone there is friendly and helpful, in person and over the phone, they're always accomodating and the service is always brilliant. Vishal is by far the best dentist I've ever had! I've always been very nervous going to appointments at previous dental practices, but Vishal is always pleasent and very claming, he talks through the options and what he's going to do, and explains how it might feel whilst he does the work, that really helps make things relaxed. Some time ago I had a problem tooth which there wasn't much left of, but Vishal still managed to find a way to save the tooth. I've had an extraction as well, which I was dreading! But again Vishal made me feel relaxed and made it a swift process, then gave me lots of advice on how to manage the extraction site as it healed. I used to be terrified going to the dentist in the past (at other practices), but now I go to appointments knowing that I've got nothing to fear because I know Vishal always does a fantastic job and always has the best interests of preserving my teeth in mind. I mean I'm still not thrilled at the idea of having to go to dental appointments lol, but thanks to Vishal I'm not scared of going anymore. I apologise I've forgotten the name of the hygienst I saw, but she was also fantastic, she gave me lots of advice on what I could do to help keep my teeth maintained, and she gave a them a thorogh clean and was careful whilst working around a sensitive tooth I had at the time. After that appointment I think my teeth were the freshest and cleanest I've ever had them. Thanks to all at Advent, sorry for the late review, It's bee on my 'to do list' for a while but I've only just remembered.

Fantastic experience: Everything about the experience at advent was pleasant. The dentist - Vishal, made me so relaxed and was just so efficient but friendly. Vishal took him time to properly explain to me what I need to do to increase and improve my oral hygiene, and made me feel at ease when performing my check up. Normally I am terrified by the dentist due to a bad experience but I will 100% go back to advent! Thank you guys so much!

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr.Vishal for a dental check up/teeth cleaning and whitening ahead of my wedding. He was very professional, made me feel comfortable from the get go, explained everything he was doing and gave me useful tips that I’m still following 8/9 months on (I’ve now upgraded to an electric toothbrush and I now only drink drinks through a straw!). Fantastic experience: Alan Baird I have been seeing dentist Nihar Patel for some time now for my dental care and find his work of an excellent standard. His attitude towards me has been faultless and his long term dental nurse is very pleasant and provides great back up services. I am a retired dentist myself and rate this duo very highly. The practice has very good facilities and is very welcoming. Wendy Baird Dr. Nihar Patel has been my dentist for many years now and I have been very pleased with the skill and the professionalism he has carried out my dental care. Of note too is his excellent dental nurse who has been with him throughout this time ( always a good sign). I am a retired dentist, as is my husband and we are both very happy to highly recommend Nihar and the team at Advent Dental.

Positive experience: Dr. Barot was very understanding of my erratic working hours as a junior doctor and saw me early in the morning to accommodate me. He was very professional and was excellent and organising and explaining my investigations. The reception staff were also brilliant! They answered calls promptly and were very polite. Fantastic experience: OMG! What can I say? I’ve had an absolutely amazing experience at this dental practice. After a fall where I broke 3 of my front teeth (already a crown and a veneer) my mouth (and quite frankly my looks, were just awful). I managed to get an immediate emergency appointment with Nihar. He instantly gave me a temporary repair and we worked together to formulate a plan for repairs. Nihar was very attentive, listened to what I wanted and offered his advice. My treatments were very invasive and one tooth needed an implant with a full extraction and bone graft to add to the mix! The surgery took place in a super sterile environment and Nihar and the dental nurse (Stacey) were just amazing! I can now proudly smile and in fact can’t stop looking the mirror as my teeth are just amazing! In fact, they are better than before, whilst still looking very natural. Which is what I wanted! Absolutely highly recommend this practice, from reception, the nurses through to Nihar, the Dentist, surgeon and funny man! We did manage to laugh at times!

Fantastic experience: Dr Vishal Barot was exceptional in his care. I only went for a quick checkup and he was very thorough, honest and talked about prevention. He explained my x ray results in detail and answered the queries I had and made sure I actually understood everything. Reception staff were also amazing. Can’t recommend this practice enough!

Fantastic experience: We have been visiting Advent for a number of years now and we're very happy with the dental care which we have received. Nihar is a fabulous dentist and is always very friendly and reassuring, especially with our children and takes time to explain any treatment which is needed. Plus also has a great sense of humour! His lovely assistant Stacey is always welcoming and together they make a great team. Would highly recommend Advent!

They are truly professional and the Dentists are so good, dealing with emergencies without hesitation and with difficult dental problems. They explain your treatment to you and inform you of your options. If you were nervous of attending dentists there is no need to be here. Fantastic experience: Dr Nihar Patel and Stacey. Amazing. They have always looked after me and my three childrens teeth and now my husbands and I would rather wait longer just to get an appointment with Nihar than use a different dentist. He talks you through whats happening, doesn't do anything unnecessarily and makes you feel at ease. He goes above and beyond to get the children relaxed and even when my three year old screamed in his face he managed to calm her down, follow her round the room because she didn't want to sit in the chair and look in her mouth. We no longer have tears walking in ! Amazing team!

Fantastic experience: Following bad experiences as a child, I had developed a phobia of the dentist and had not been for 10+ years. Due to a bad toothache which resulted in calling 111, I was referred to Vishal Barot. Vishal completely understood my fears and worked with me to create a plan for the work that I needed. He explained everything so clearly and his focus was on making me feel calm and comfortable throughout. At no point did I feel judged for my fears. Instead Vishal has turned my fears around and I have gained so much more confidence in coming back to see him for future appointments. The work Vishal and his assistant have done on my teeth is great and he is very thorough and I feel like I am back on the path to having healthier teeth again. I no longer feel afraid of the dentist and I will definitely be back again and that is something I never thought I would say.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Advent Dental enough. I was originally at Sharrow and when I needed to book my family appts we went over to Advent. Both practices really look after us. As a family we see Vishal and he has always provided the safest most professional and thorough dental care. He is outstanding with young children and we cannot recommend him or Advent enough.

Fantastic experience: My most pleasant dental experience. I am now more than happy to travel over 40 minutes just to be seen by a dentist. Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for this dental practice. The reception staff are most welcoming and attentive. I have only been using the practice for a couple of years but it has always been a very positive experience and Vishal is excellent. I had to have a crown and some rather extensive ground work was required but he explained what he needed to be done at every stage which was most reassuring. For someone that has a dread of dentists he made me feel as comfortable as you could ever feel with a mouthful of dental implements.! Anyway I would thoroughly recommend Advent and Vishal.

Fantastic experience: First rate dental care. Supportive and personalised delivery with empathy and a human, even humorous touch! An emergency dental accident earlier this season was met with superb out of hours treatment by Frank who literally came to the rescue, with professional and "on point" repair in my hour of need. I should highlight a particularly positive experience with Sophie recently in her capacity as my hygienist who showed extra patience and care covering all the bases with me and more. Fantastic experience: I wanted to compliment Sophie the hygienist as she showed me the greatest respect, professionalism and a genuine wish to help me to overcome my anxieties when I attended the surgery earlier today. She worked at my pace and she was extremely empathic and patient which made it easier for me to have what is usually a very simple procedure. Fantastic experience: I never thought I would say this about a Dentist appointment but Dr Patel made it a very comfortable and calm experience. I went in for a check up and teeth whitening. Staff were very friendly from the moment I arrived. Dr Nihar Patel explained everything in a clear and informative way. All of the staff I've had contact with (including dentists, hygienists, receptionists and nurses) have been friendly and always willing to help.
