Fantastic experience: Have That Root Canal! I recently faced a decision between having a root canal (a particularly tricky one with curved roots) or having the tooth extracted. The words root canal filled me with dread, but I reluctantly chose to go ahead with it - I needed that tooth. I was anxious on the day, and friends visibly grimaced when I told them what I was having done. It felt as though I’d announced something truly horrific. What I experienced, however, was the complete opposite of what I had anticipated. Dr Jesal Savania was wonderful. He sat me down and explained everything so kindly and clearly, which was incredibly reassuring, especially after some very bad dental experiences in the past. I needn’t have worried at all. Jesal is extremely professional and highly experienced; it genuinely feels as though dentistry is a craft to him, one in which he takes great pride. From the very start, the anaesthetic was administered so deftly that it worked immediately, no waiting, no discomfort. The root canal involved several stages, but I can honestly say that not a single one was distressing. My nerves quickly settled, and I truly believe that was down to Jesal’s skill and calm manner. After the procedure, Jesal took the time to sit with me, show me the X-ray, and talk me through the results. I felt completely at ease, so much so that we were chatting and laughing by the end. When the anaesthetic wore off, I felt no pain at all. Jesal advised taking ibuprofen, but I haven’t needed it. In fact, I’ve experienced more pain and swelling from a tiny filling in the past. It's as if I haven't had any work done, I'm astounded. I would strongly encourage anyone debating between a root canal and an extraction to keep the tooth and have the root canal. I’m so pleased that I went ahead with it. I truly can't speak highly enough of Jesel!

Fantastic experience: Having been a member of a private practice for over 25 years, I was informed I needed to have one of my wisdom teeth out. The tooth had broken off at the gum line so extraction caused me some concern. They put me in touch with Aaron at Ascent as I wanted the extraction done under sedation. Right from the start Aaron made me feel extremely comfortable and confident in his abilities. The day of the op could not have gone better, all the team made me feel relaxed and the only thing I recall was thinking ‘I’ll just close my eyes for a minute’ next thing I know Aaron is telling me it’s all done!! The healing process also went very well and a week and a half later I’m almost eating normally and have no pain! I’ve now opted to move to Ascent permanently as I was so pleased with the work done. Could not recommend this place enough, a well deserved 5 stars!!

Fantastic experience: This was my first check-up at this dental practice. The receptionist was lovely upon arrival, the dentist (Sarah) who I saw was kind and gentle, knowing I struggle with anxiety. She was very informative and didn't overwhelm me with unrealistic goals, knowing I'm struggling with my mental health currently. I left feeling cared for and looking forward to my next visit (which is extremely rare when it comes to dental appointments ).

Fantastic experience: I've always been very nervous about going to the dentist and about dental work in general. But going to Ascent was a completely different experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. The clinic itself is more like a spa, so much thought and care has gone into making it a beautiful, relaxing space. The staff are kind and welcoming and make you feel cared for and comfortable. Faresh spent so much time with me as a new patient, taking a holistic approach to my diagnosis and treatment. I never felt worried or nervous, it was such a positive experience. I can't recommend Ascent more highly, this truly is a different approach to dentistry and I'm so grateful that I found them!

Negative experience: Absolutely Disgraceful Experience. Avoid at All Costs I was invited to Ascent Dental Care Leamington Spa for a free consultation, only to be told that consultation would come at a cost of £25 because the information they had gathered over the phone was incorrect (not my fault). But it didn’t stop there. After reluctantly agreeing to pay, I was told, even before seeing a dentist, that any cavity filling would cost me over £180 here (be reminded that the normal rate for such a procedure at any other dental clinic is around 60£), and that they would only take me to their God knows what dentist if I give then a consent beforehand. This is not care, it was a money-first, patient-last approach. The nurse's tone was condescending, and the entire interaction felt like a scavenger hunt for cash, not a healthcare service. No professionalism. No empathy. No accountability. Just a pathetic excuse for a dental practice that seems more interested in squeezing wallets than providing care. If you value transparency and respect, steer clear of this place. An absolute shame!

Fantastic experience: I called Ascent Dental in Leamington Spa last Friday to book an Emergency appointment that day as one of my tooth fillings came out that morning. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very professional and helpful. She booked the appointment for me and confirmed it by SMS within a few minutes. When I arrived at the clinic later that day, the Receptionist was also very welcoming and professional. She asked me to update my registration details and medical history to ensure accuracy. I was then seen by the dentist on the scheduled appointment time without any delays. Dr Gursh Bajwa checked the area of my tooth where the filling was missing and took the time to explain to me how he would restore the tooth filling. Dr Bajwa was very professional and methodical throughout the whole process which made me feel relaxed and confident of the outcome. Once the new tooth filling was in place, I checked how it looked the mirror and was very happy with the result. Overall, I would highly recommend Ascent Dental. All the staff are professional, experienced and friendly and more importantly, the results of their work are outstanding!

Negative experience: Not satisfied with my last visit, Arun was extremely rude to myself and the dental nurse. The procedure he “recommend” was unnecessary and only to get money out of me. The checkup was 30 seconds long with no advice given, I was then told to come back up after going to pay to be shown where I apparently needed a filling? Being a NHS patient I felt I was not as important as a private patient would be. Arun needs to taught some customer service skills!! On a positive note Ellie the receptionist was extremely lovely and polite and was the only asset to the company!

Her service was so impressive that I now choose to attend the Leamington Spa branch instead of the Solihull branch, even though Solihull is closer to me. It’s such a shame she’s leaving, as she will be truly missed!

Fantastic experience: I required 4 crowns to save my teeth. The care and treatment I received from Arun and Asher was beyond my expectations. They were friendly and put me at my ease. Arun talked me through the treatment so I knew exactly what was happening. The hour long appointments went very quickly and I'm very pleased with the results. He also gave me in depth advice on how to prevent these stains, which were having a negative impact on my confidence, going forward and came across very knowledgeable and experienced…I’ve already booked in my next clean and polish with again, and would highly recommend him to anyone! Fantastic experience: I have had some really bad experiences with dentists but as soon as I arrived at Ascent Dental Care I felt at ease. The staff were friendly and very helpful especially Fallon. But the best part was meeting Dr Arun his knowledge within that industry is something I haven’t ever come across. He is so experienced yet he didn’t make me feel out of place or uncomfortable he genuinely cares for his patients. I booked my treatment within 5 minutes of my consultation. I never thought I would say this but I’m so excited to start all my treatments.

Fantastic experience: I had Summer teeth (sum'er crooked, sum'er broken, sum'er sensitive and som'er yellow) before I visited Ascent Dental Care in Leamington Spa. My front teeth had broken and I had a definitive crack down one from previous poor dental work carried out while I was abroad. I met with Fallon who quickly arranged an appointment to see Nayan. I met with Nayan who took pics of my teeth. Close ups. I was even more horrified with the state of them. He talked through what could be done and we agreed a way forward with no hassles, pressure or delays. He completed a few fillings I needed desperately. I could see from this work alone, the rest would be 1st class. We then went ahead with 4 crowns. I'm not joking when I say that I didn't even know he had completed the prep work for the crowns (filing the teeth down) till it was done and he said he was now putting the temporary teeth in while the new ones were being made. It was 100% pain free. Got the new teeth in two weeks later. Perfect results. I'm so glad I chose Ascent, and Nayan to do the work rather than going abroad again. The team, from reception to dentist are all extremely professional, caring and make sure they answer all your questions before any work takes place. Top team. Top job. Thank you Ascent

Fantastic experience: I was looked after by Mandeep and Asha. The examination was comprehensive and showed I need some treatment. The reason for this was clearly explained to me, as were the clinical implications and cost of the various options. At no point was I pressured into making a specific choice. The practice was able to offer me an appointment for treatment quite soon.

I moved to the practice after having a bad experience with another practice where the dentists were very miserable which made the experience quite negative. I’ve had to have a couple of fillings but the process was quick and the results are so smooth and blended so well into my teeth I can’t tell where they are. Really pleased with the work and the team. I saw Mandeep and Asha and would recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: I booked a hygiene appointment at Leamington Spa branch and the price quoted was £75 (that matches their website) and paid half (£38) in advance on 03/09/2024. I went for the appointment on 14/11/2024 and was asked to pay £75 instead of the remaining balance i.e. £37. Reason given for the additional cost of £38 are 1. It is considered as emergency appointment although the appointment was booked 2 months in advance. 2. You need to be enrolled on their system and have initial assessment by doctor. In my case I haven’t seen by a doctor prior to my hygiene appointment.

Negative experience: A gradual price increase for a dental plan from £16 to £20 per month this year is very unreasonable. They are doing it in increments so you won't notice and then call it a "marginal" increase everytime. I will have to find a new provider.

Fantastic experience: My dentist is Mandeep, who inherited me from my previous dentist who retired. The impact that she has had on me has been phenomenal! I had a very real dental phobia, and Mandeep has been gentle and patient with me from the outset. She steered me through the ongoing treatment that I was receiving with a truly compassionate and caring manner, to the point that I felt so much better and less stressed about my visits. She then inspired me to have the courage to address my crooked teeth, which I had felt conscious about for many years, and with her support and guidance I embarked on the invisalign journey. I genuinely found her care and attention to detail made all the difference, and massively reassured me at each stage. Mandy and her team checked in on me outside of appointments, and I really appreciated their support. I do find that I smile such a lot more these days - and I credit Mandy for guiding and inspiring me to go for it - I am really grateful to her - for her dental skills and for her motivating influence that has led to such great change for me.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic find .. firstly my partner came here as an emergency , he had severe tooth pain resulting in us returning home from holiday early ..he was referred to hospital to get his wisdom tooth pulled out by a previous dentist and we were waiting for his apt , I came across Ascent dentist online and after speaking to them they got my partner in the same day on which they removed the tooth no problem!! Secondly I tried the tooth whitening treatment that was better than iv tried before and today i had my composite bonding done on my top teeth ..what fantastic results :) highly highly recommend this practice ..the staff are all really friendly and the Dentists know exactly what they are doing … iv just booked my son in and can’t wait to see his results!! Fantastic experience: First time visiting this dentist for a one off appointment the other day and from start to finish the service and care from the team was excellent! Ellie was the receptionist who was so kind and helpful. Arun was the dentist who was really understanding of my teeth situation and explained the situation of my teeth very well. Steph was the nurse who went above and beyond when I was told I needed treatment, she gave me several recommendations and helped me find suitable options that I could afford. Ellie was also super helpful in explaining the monthly payment options as spreading the cost of finance which was also super helpful. After the appointment both Ellie and Steph have called to check up on me to see how I’m doing with treatment and if I needed anything at all. 10/10 service for those girls alone they were absolutely amazing and made me feel so cared for. They didn’t have to help me as much as they did and it was extremely appreciated! Thank you so much for all your help, once I’m sorted with treatment I think I’ll definitely be back as the level of service and kindness is the best I’ve had from any dentist.
