Fantastic experience: Careful attention to detail. Very good. They did a fantastic job creating an upper denture for me. It fits so well that there is no need for anything to hold it in place. The lower denture, fitted 2026-01-15 is also excellent. It fits very well. As ever, the work is excellent. Excellent 2026-02-12.

Fantastic experience: Always a friendly practice to attend. Have been with this practice for the past 45 years since it was first started by Dr Robert Jones at a different location in Bangor. The building is a lovely comfortable Victorian style house. The quality of the treatment is always first class, and the practitioners are excellent and very approachable. You feel you're in good hands when you go there. Options available are discussed fully and advice given, enabling you to make your own choices. It is not the cheapest place, but you get a much better service that you can trust.

I have my appointments with Joseph; he is friendly and explains what is involved well – it helps reassure me, as I used to be quite a nervous patient. He is really good with my daughter too, and she looks forward to going! I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I came to Joe in March 24 and was suffering with fairly severe gum disease, something I've battled with over a number of years. My gums are now amazing through the brilliant direction and intervention made by Joe. Having worked in corporate dentistry for circa ten years, I understand what's involved. Fantastic experience: My experience at Gwynfryn was absolutely faultless from start to finish. Having moved around a number of dentists over the years who haven’t shown much care for their patients, Gwynfryn could not be more different. Everyone is so friendly, the practice is light, welcoming and relaxing. I had some older fillings replaced, composite bonding and whitening done by Joseph and I am so happy with the results. It’s still sinking in that I don’t need to feel self conscious about my teeth anymore, as I have been for so many years. Joseph is meticulous in his work and it’s clear he has an absolute passion for what he does. If anyone has been considering composite bonding I’d say go for it, it’s hard to overstate how much of a difference it’s made for me

I was grateful that the practice was able to take me on as a new patient and to visit within only a few days. Fantastic experience: I have had excellent ongoing care from Ann Lu and the team at Gwynfryn, including an extraction and replacement of old metal fillings. I had tried a couple of other local dentists first, but have stuck with Ann at Gwynfryn because she's been fantastic. She is very gentle and precise and her manner of explaining what she's about to do and what to expect has helped me go from very nervous to no nerves at all. There has been virtually no pain during treatment, even the extraction was quick and easier than previous experiences. Joseph's hygienist appointment was thorough and gentle, with helpful advice and suggestions and I will definitely keep these up as part of prevention. Dewi and the team did a great job treating me urgently when I had sudden intense pain in a nerve, taking time to triage me properly on the phone and getting me in as soon as possible. Staff are all great communicators, because they really listen and explain clearly, and of course some staff are fluent in Welsh and English.The building is very clean, spacious and welcoming too. Treatment plan options are clearly explained with time given to discussing options. Worth every penny, but not excessively expensive for excellent private treatment, with a treatment plan scheme option and finance for things like implants. I cannot thank everyone enough for their help in improving my oral health and the appearance of my teeth. It has really helped my confidence, allows me to finally smile properly and helps me to communicate without feeling self conscious - truly life changing.

Fantastic experience: I'm a new patient to this practice (since November 2024) and after several years of having no dental treatment because i was ashamed of my teeth??? weird i know - I woke up one morning and searched online. After having a much needed extraction, scale, polish and filling I can only say that he treatment I have received from Anna Lu, the practice hygienist and receptionists has all been fantastic to date. Cost wise well all i can say is that it is what it is - i didn't expect the treatment i needed to be cheap but imo it's money well spent for my oral health and personal confidence boost. My only regret is not sorting my teeth out sooner.

Negative experience: Good job on my filling and scale and polish I guess...but just out for your money and unbelievably pushy about cosmetic work. Will definitely not be returning here. Asked if I could join denplan but told me I didn't need to and paid over £300 for two fillings. Just daylight robbery. Would definitely not recommend joining this dentist unless you want cosmetic work done. Came out of there with a complex about my teeth. DO NOT JOIN.

Positive experience: My usual dentist Dr Dewi Williams was not available. My one and only crown had come off. Dewi had replaced it once before. I saw Anna Su instead. I was given a longer appointment, just in case she could do anything with it. She said that she could have replaced it, but it might come off again. She also said that there was a crack in the tooth and some decay. I went along with what she suggested. She is the expert after all!. She gave me a pain-killing injection then drilled out the decay and put in a white filling which more or less covered the whole tooth. The procedure took about half an hour. Hopefully, this has solved the problem. My jaw was numb after the injection for about 5 hours! Happy with my treatment.

Fantastic experience: This visit was not pleasant,as I was led to believe,it was supposed to be mysix monthly check up,but once in the chair,was informed it was for cleaning! In a the years of being with the same dentists,not have mentioned my teeth needed so much work. In fact,most said my dental hygiene was o.k. I have a new dentist,and he's bloody obsessed, withence cleaning! What he did to me really hurt but he carried on,I will not be having them cleaned by him again,after this visit,I'm starting to lose confidence,in dentists,which took a lot of years,as a youngster to trust dentists.
