Having been a client of the Practice for some considerable years, I was very concerned when Sheila Fairly retired last year (who I always considered to be a first class dentist), having some apprehension regarding how I would find her successor. I have found Alex to similarly be an excellent professional, having a very friendly and pleasant manner and demonstrating excellent competence and experience in her field. Fantastic experience: 6 monthly check up but I knew I needed some treatment for a problem with a loose filling. My dentist Alex was great, got me back in the same afternoon and quickly solved my problem. Gave me a super service and really seemed to care. I rely on my dentist to be honest and tell me what I need to know. I am confident, going forward, that the relationship I have with her will only get better. Mutual respect is important and I don't want to be just a "number" or customer. My dentist is one of the most important people I have. I want to leave the planet with my teeth, or as many as possible, in place! I have had the same hygenist for 36 years-Verity Rathbone. Verity is brilliant and knows me so well. I wouldn't want anyone else cleaning my teeth. She is direct with me and, quite rightly, tells me off when it's needed. Great relationship with a lovely lady.

Fantastic experience: Excellent preventative action to stop a 'leaky filling' that was causing no problem but if left untreated would have been serious. The filling was the old metallic looking type, if fact it could have had a preservation order on it. A sharp eye on a recent check up prevented a real issue developing.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous clinical experience in a lovely practice. Dr Sandy was very thorough on my initial appointment and inspired me to change my tooth care regimen. The follow up visit to the hygienist Cheryl proved that the changes had made improvements to my oral health. Couldn’t be happier to have changed to Cottage dental for my oral healthcare and would highly recommend it. I also noted how stylish Dr Sandy looked in her eyewear as I stared open mouthed from the chair… and she inspired a trip to the optician too!

Fantastic experience: My first time with the practice, all very welcoming. I love the fact its woman ran and I feel at ease when entering. Very clear information when answering questions and no questions are brushed off. Quite nervous for a clean by the hygienist but she kept reassuring me as I had to take breaks however this wasn’t an issue for her. I’m very grateful for my time here and I thank everyone I spoke to.
