Fantastic experience: Called this morning for an emergency appointment. Two hours later I was being seen and 30 mins later I was out with the problem sorted. Excellent service as always by the reception and dental teams!

Fantastic experience: Amazing! I needed a dentist and found Honesty Dental Care. I have a fear of dentists and this could be linked to childhood trauma and possible late 80's movies! First thing, the Shipley site was super easy to find and clearly signed. There was also parking available and for those with electric vehicles there is also a charging port. The building is warm and friendly, all the staff welcome you with a big smile and with care and attention. The waiting area was cosy and comfortable and even though I was early i actually enjoyed waiting there. My appointment was with Dr Jack and honestly cant praise him enough. I explained my situation and fear of dentists. He walked me through the procedure and next steps. He signposted every step and made sure I was comfortable. The treatment was painless and enjoyable. A warm welcome is given by the reception team as soon as you walk through the door and for anxious patients, reassurance in the form of a comfortable, cosy area to wait. Fantastic experience: I came to an emergency appointment at Shipley to see Olivia Barraclough after a really bad fall to my jaw. I suffered damage to my tongue and teeth and was in a lot of pain. It was a stressful time and I was deeply upset , Olivia did such an amazing job keeping me calm and assured me of all my concerns. I was referred to the hospital about my tongue and she did a wonderful job on my teeth you can’t even see the damage the work she did was perfect ! Thank you Olivia and her nurses who were all so kind to me. I tell everyone to go to Honesty they are so professional and you don’t feel like your at the dentist at all - it really is a lovely place to go!

Fantastic experience: All the staff at Honesty are lovely,, they make you feel so welcome the minute you walk through the door,, Gary is very professional and throughly explains how and why he’s carried out that certain procedure that day. Also, when I have Hygiene work done I see Brad,, he’s so great at what he does,, explaining why he’s done what he’s done that day, and what I can do at home to improve my gum health,,, and all the while, in such a calm,, professional manor. Can’t forget the nurses,, they all work so well with the dentists,, always one step ahead with the next piece of equipment ,, friendly to talk to and a good laugh. Overall,, I’m really happy with the place and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I had some composite treatment recently with Olivia Barraclough her attention to detail was second to none, she made me feel at ease and her nurse Ruth always makes me feel welcome ! I never feel I’m at the dentist the whole experience at Honesty is just wonderful !!

Fantastic experience: I didn’t go to a dentist for quite a few years , didn’t really like going ! Then I was told about honesty . I then book an appointment to see Gary the dentist,who is very knowledgeable and explains what is what which makes a difference. I always feel relaxed and the atmosphere is very calming the nurses and very lovely professional and friendly. Since going there I have had whitening which I’m very pleased with and have a big smile now ! I also go see the hygienist too Brad firth he’s also very professional and explains , very friendly and makes you feel relaxed . I go on a regular basis now and will continue I recommend them to all my friends .

Fantastic experience: This is a lovely, modern, sleek practice. Nicest one I've ever been to! Gary is a great dentist, everything was thoroughly explained to me, nothing was rushed and I was very happy with the results.

Fantastic experience: After being left in agony by my previous dental practice, I contacted Honesty and was seen the same day by Gary. I had been informed my only solution would be to have the tooth extracted by my old dentist. However after successfully treating the infection and a painless root canal treatment, Gary expertly saved my tooth. I was so relieved as it was very near the front. A few weeks later I returned to the practice and Gary made a same day crown using one of their state of the art milling machines and fitted it at the same appointment. You can’t even tell it’s a crown, looks like a real tooth and fits and is colour-matched perfectly. Gary explained and kept me updated with every step of my treatment. The dental practice itself is beautiful and comfortable, you don’t even feel like you are visiting the dentist. All the staff are really welcoming and friendly and make you feel totally at ease. I can’t thank Gary, Ruth, Madiya and all the team at Honesty enough.

It’s a huge decision to have a cosmetic treatment but Sophie gives you all the information to choose the right treatment for you. I feel totally safe and I know I’m in good hands. Fantastic experience: Special thanks to Garry my dentist. My front 2 teeth filled prefectly with white fillings from the back. It was a lot of hard work as they more or less had to be rebuilt. They feel beautiful , matching and natural. Fast and proffesionally done, without rushing. Cant wait to get all my silver fillings in to white. A package deal would have been nicer for my pocket. However everything is transparent and the service is first class. Also the place is nice and clean.

Fantastic experience: I have struggled with dental anxiety for years, after many traumatising experiences as an NHS patient. This was my main reason for choosing Honesty! I saw that they approached Dentistry differently and seemed particularly keen to encourage anxious patients to attend and take better care of their oral hygiene. It is the BEST decision I have ever made! Olivia and Bradley are so thorough, gentle and patient with me. They take time to ensure I understand what's happening and give me a gentle nudge to breathe if my anxiety creeps in. I used to loathe dental appointments approaching but now I genuinely look forward to my visit and it is purely thanks to the wonderful staff and the calm environment you create at Honesty Dental Care. The entire team should be so proud of the care you are providing. I feel like after each visit more of my dental trauma is healed. Honestly couldn't recommend this practice more! x

Fantastic experience: Ever since I was a child I have been very nervous about seeing a dentist. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to change my dentist which increased my anxiety. However when I saw Dr. Olivia Barraclough at Honesty Dental Care at Shipley I was impressed by her professionalism and the way she inspired me with confidence. I have several more treatments to go but my anxiety has been greatly reduced. I can only say how much I am impressed with the care I have been given from the calmness of the reception staff to the Dentist and her support team.

Fantastic experience: I had an impacted canine meaning it was stuck in my gum and wouldn't come down without braces. I didn't want obvious ones so I went with invisalign and I wasn't disappointed. Adam and Lucy took care of me and made sure the treatment went smoothly. I have since recommended Honesty to friends and family as my new smile has given me so much confidence! You can see the difference!

Fantastic experience: Just got back from my facial peel. If you zoom in you can see it working but I can still go out as normal, it’s not a “scary-movie” peel, it’s effective but gentle. My skin looks and feels so much brighter, softer and younger. Thank you Sophie. X

Fantastic experience: Great service! Had an appointment with Lucy for a new retainer after I had brace treatment in the NHS a few years ago. Really easy to communicate and Lucy was understanding from the start. She fit me in when convenient and explained everything really thoroughly. I felt really at ease throughout and she even gave me some good teeth cleaning tips and tricks! My retainer came within a few days and it's the best fitting retainer I've had! Lucy is such an asset to the team, thank you! Would highly recommend Honesty for any dental treatment, a beautiful clean practice and staff are lovely and friendly :)

Fantastic experience: Honesty is like no other dental practice. The whole team are incredible - they put you at ease from the moment you walk through the door. It's such a warm, friendly, welcoming environment. My experience went far beyond my expectations - I had initial bonding treatment on a tooth that I'd chipped during a car accident. As it was such a small chip, I'd previously been told it couldn't be fixed. But it bothered me every day and reminded me of the accident - having it fixed has been (no understatement) life changing. I no longer have to be reminded of my accident every day. I then went through over a year of Orthodontics with the dream team of Adam and Lucy. I can't overstate how fantastic the treatment was - I genuinely looked forward to my appointments, we laughed so much! Adam was the first person to ever say I have lovely teeth, and I can finally agree with him. He is an absolute master at what he does and no doubt the best Orthodontist in Yorkshire if not beyond. For someone who really hasn't had a great experience with my teeth, Honesty has completely changed my perspective and it has set such a brilliant example to my kids too. They'll probably need braces in the future, but having seen me go through it with such a positive outlook has without doubt laid groundwork for them to have a good experience too. I couldn't be more grateful to finally be able to smile with my teeth out!

Fantastic experience: I have just had an appointment with Dr. Lizzie and Courtney. A filling on one of my upper teeth. I can honestly say I have never been so relaxed while having a filling. Lizzie explained the procedure she was to carry out very well. During the procedure I was asked numerous times if I was Ok and I was. Courtney was very diligent keeping every single drop of water out of my mouth. (A fear of mine). When everything was done I wasn't stressed , as has been the case with other dentists. Fantastic experience: My teenage daughters' teeth look amazing, and the process has been plain sailing from start to finish. Adam was so good with her and made her feel comfortable at all times. She really like the fact he spoke to her directly, so she felt he was listening to her concerns. I was especially impressed that she got 3 sets of retainers at the end as kids lose these things so easily! I'll be taking my son for his teeth doing too as soon as he is old enough. Fantastic experience: I came to the clinic as an emergency. They were the only clinic around that took me the next day after I have called. I am very nervous around dentists due to bad previous experience, however the personal is very gentle and tentative, the initial problem has been resolved and now I am a regular patient for checkups and am very happy with the services they provide.

Fantastic experience: Updated review September 2022: I have just finished my Invisalign treatment with Honesty Dental Care. After having braces at a different practice in the past, I was anxious to start my Invisalign journey as I felt I knew what I was in for. However, from Day 1 as shown below, Adam has been incredible. His skills and professionalism matched with his humour and bubbly personality made me feel reassured and at ease throughout the course of my treatment. Adam has been thorough and honest about his recommendations for my treatment with scans/imaging/models/‘clin check’ to represent what he meant at each stage. Adam is an asset to Honesty and has restored my confidence by giving me my new smile! Lucy, working alongside Adam, is a breath of fresh air. They work so well together and Lucy is always on hand with everything from in surgery queries and arranging appointments and follow ups promptly. Not only is Lucy so funny and caring, she is so hard-working too. Lucy and Adam are a great team and I truly feel that it has made my journey with Honesty and my appointments 10x better as I’ve felt so comfortable around them. I also had a few appointments with Grace working alongside Adam. Again, Grace is so professional and adept, I knew I was in safe hands. Fantastic experience: Recommended to come through a friend of a friend due to needing a emergency appointment due to braking a tooth. Booked in the next day and received an outstanding experience. I felt incredibly valued and respected as a patient, staff actively listened and their professional recommendations was exactly what I was hoping and looking for as part of my dental plan I want to pursue. After being previously disappointed with a previous dentist that didn't listen to my wants and needs, this staff coordination did absolutely that. Fantastic first impression that has resulted in me booking and fulfilling my new and exciting treatment plan. Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. I have such a fear of going to the dentist that I put it off for over ten years. Their regular staff are compassionate, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. It is absolutely worth paying a bit extra, and quite honestly £14 a month on plan is more than worth clean teeth and gums. I've been here 8 years now, and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Lucy and Alison in particular have been fab. On the one occasion I had a less than pleasant experience (with a locum hygienist), the team went out of their way to ensure it didn't happen again.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish it has been a pleasure dealig with Honesty Dental. Great customer service and lovely dental staff, had my first filling and was rather nervous about it but Lizzie calmed my nerves and was very understanding of my needs and worries. I understand that Honesty Dental does have slightly higher prices than other competitors but I believe the quality and service you receive is far greater than that of any other local dental practise. And for that reason the slightly higher price is more than worth it for me. I had a composite filling done and my partner can't even notice it even with me pointing it out! Thank you for everything. Positive experience: £1045 solely for 5 composite fillings was quite a surprise after looking at the prices on the website as a guide. I'm sure the work would be carried out to excellent standards. This review is for the choice of name for the practice, it doesn't feel honest. May I suggest you give a better indication of pricing e.g. £235 for large composite (cheapest filling material), £170 for medium. I assume the £115 one listed must be for something minute in size.

Had to have 2 teeth extracted as part of the process and Adam was absolutely lovely, took his time to make sure I wasn't experiencing any pain. I didn't even feel the anaesthetic injection going in. Fantastic experience: Been with Honesty Dental Care for a little while now and I can honestly say I wouldn't want to go anywhere else, all the staff are so warm and welcoming, i suffer quite bad with anxiety but the amount of ease I feel walking through that door is amazing, had my braces fitted today by Adam and Lucy and it was nothing but laughs the whole way through, like all my experiences with them. Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say thank you so much to Adam and Steph who really looked after me yesterday. Unfortunately I had to have two teeth removed which I was a little bit apprehensive about but I really did nt need to be. Adam performed the procedure with ease and it went very smoothly and was super quick. Steph was really kind and supportive and I felt very looked after and cared for. Thank you both. I ve been coming to the Practice for a while now and can't recommend it enough. The reception staff and the whole team are so friendly and the practice itself is beautiful. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Honesty Dental Care after becoming disillusioned by my NHS Dentist and on the recommendation of my sister. At first I was nervous but shouldn't have been as I was put in the safe hands of Adam and his dental assistant Lucy who were both professional, informative, kind and considerate in their practice. All the dental work I needed was explained thoroughly, a plan was devised and Adam put me at ease. I have since had two "large" white fillings and the procedures were unbelievably pain free and I am really happy with the results. The reception staff have to be mentioned too as they are always welcoming, efficient and willing to help. I therefore cannot recommend this dental practice enough, if you are considering it.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had a top wisdom tooth removed by Gary Lunt. After a quick x-ray straight in the chair, Gary gave me a short on-screen presentation explaining exactly what is to happen and all possible dangers involved. The actual tooth extraction took no more than 5 minutes! 3 for the anaesthetic to set in and 2 for taking the tooth out. I didn't feel or hear anything! I walked back home a few minutes later and although I booked a day off work expecting some pain for the rest of the day, I never had to even take a pain killer! THANK YOU for this experience!

Fantastic experience: This practice has a lovely feel to it which stems from it being family owned and operated. I always feel cared for and love that all the staff know me by first name. They have won awards for their dentistry and are always extremely accommodating when I need an appointment. Prices are some of the best in the region and the level of care is first rate. Special thank you to all the staff there for doing a great job and keeping the family dentist alive. Truly 5 stars from me and my partner. I was surprised to see some 1 star reviews which I believe should be ignored as they appear to be a conflict of interest.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of this practice since it was first established and I have the highest regard for the standard of care and integrity of Honesty Dental Care. I attend myself and my two sons who have autism are also patients and have been for many years. My experience has been 100% positive without exception and every member of the team has been kindness itself to us. I have had routine treatment over the years which has been of an excellent standard and pain free , and recently I had my wonky teeth realigned and I am delighted with the outcome. Costs are always clearly explained , the dentist and the hygienists are gentle , caring and patient which is especially appreciated with my sons. I recommend them unequivocally, I even drive for forty minutes past umpteen other practices to continue being a patient. Honesty is the best dental practice around.

Fantastic experience: Its Very Rare that I find any form of medical intervention a pleasure but visiting Honesty Dental Care is more like a visit to a health spa. The Staff are Extremely Polite, very friendly, brilliant at making you feel at ease and ultra-professional. Richard Denny has been my dentist for over 30 years as I was previously a Client at his practice in Hebden Bridge. Rather than trust anyone else with my teeth I have followed him to the New Practice first at Lower Baildon and now in their Fabulous State of the Art Practice in Shipley. My last appointment was in October 2020 where the whole experience has changed due to COVID-19, they have thought of absolutely everything possible to ensure that you are as safe as possible from this horrible Virus. I Was extremely impressed with the Air purifiers have been installed throughout to eliminate any nasty germs that may be lingering in the atmosphere. As part of my job, I visit many Healthcare Facilities and Dentist’s, but none come close to the Honesty Experience. I would not hesitate in recommending Honesty Dental to anyone. Absolutely the Best Dental Practice in the area.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Honesty for a few years. They made me realise that the NHS dentist I had been using was not great. They looked after me for a terrible wisdom tooth infection and made the whole process very easy and pain free. There practice uses the most up to date equipment and the staff are very friendly but yet professional. I would highly recommend their services.
