They have both been amazing from the first appointment and have worked wonders. They are always very informative and really talk you through your treatment. The reception staff are very welcoming and it really does feel like I've been going back for years. Brilliant practice and I can't thank them enough.

My dentist, Nick, is extremely efficient and always explains everything he is going to look at and use, this is so important and I have had issues when visiting dentists in my past. After the examination procedure he also shows me my XRays and explains what is happening with my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved to the area and visited a dentist in town. They quoted a significant amount of money for work that shocked me and made me worry. I went to Carlton House for a second opinion and saw Usha. She immediately made me feel at ease, outlined the options and was able to do a similar procedure for around 1/4 of the cost. I am delighted with the work that has been done and cannot recommend this dentist enough. Many dentists now feel like a conveyer belt with huge waiting rooms and no personal feel. However at Carlton House you are made to feel like a VIP on every visit and the staff are so friendly.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Carlton house for quite a while now and I’m a nervous patient. I have had regular deep clean treatments and every time I’ve had to have anaesthetic and only half on my teeth can be done at once. Necessary but still not pleasant and I leave feeling very groggy. Today they had a new tool called a EMS machine and they were all excited. (And rightly so) So I left today with ALL my teeth cleaned and there was no need for anaesthetic! It’s water based and even tasted quite nice! I can’t speak highly enough of this and the trained staff who use it. It wasn’t just a better way of doing it, it was like a whole new treatment!! A real game changer. Thank you to all the staff and the the new EMS machine. I left feeling fine and I am even less nervous about going back.

Fantastic experience: In early January, I visited Carlton House for a check-up, a lapse of over two years since my last one. Having endured a traumatic dental experience as a teenager at a different practice and having fallen out of the routine of regular check-ups, I was extremely nervous to go. I sent an email ahead of time to make the team aware of my apprehensions. I can genuinely express that my experience with Usha and the entire team has been nothing short of fantastic. During the checkup, it was determined that I needed two fillings. Today, I underwent the first of the two procedures, and to my genuine surprise, I didn't feel a single thing in terms of pain. The team demonstrated remarkable patience, walking me through every detail of the process. I was astounded when they informed me that we were all done. The most uncomfortable part was receiving the injection to numb the tooth, and even that pain was minimal, rating it at about 1/10. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire team at Carlton House; they are truly fantastic. I recommend this practice to anyone who experiences nervousness or apprehension about dental visits. The team excels in putting you at ease, taking the time to help you overcome any fears you may have. To those contemplating a dental appointment, I urge you to give these professionals a try. Fantastic experience: I have just recently finished my Invisalign journey with Carlton House and I could nt be happier, Usha was very thorough throughout my treatment, and took consideration to the fact I m nervous at the dentist!!!! My teeth were nt completely where I wanted them to be after my first course of aligners, so Usha recommended another set (included in the price) After this last set of aligners, my teeth are now exactly how I wanted them to look. I can t recommend Carlton House enough, great staff, great price, great service and I m super happy!

My previous dentist gave up on a front tooth, after several fillings failed he said the tooth would have to be removed. Usha has not only filled and stabilized the tooth but it looks amazing. Negative experience: Chipped my front tooth, called for an appointment. Specifically asked in advance “am I covered?” because there have been so many mess-arounds about denplan and money in my short time here. “Yes, you are!”. Get to my appointment and am faced with an extremely defensive and borderline rude dentist who argues that I am in fact NOT covered. Quelle surprise. The receptionist is hastened in and says “I meant you’re covered for the appointment not the treatment” - are you joking?! I’m then supposed to argue back and forth with not 1, 2 but 3 staff members all at once about this whilst I am 39 weeks pregnant. I was ignored when I said how stressful I was finding the situation and could they either do the treatment or not… ended up walking out in floods of tears with palpitations. So humiliating and unprofessional. Charming smiles and possibly some talented dentists but don’t be fooled, £££££ - that’s all this place cares about. I’m a reasonable person but I am honestly baffled by the 5 star reviews for this practice. Having had 2 long term dentists in the past who were totally unproblematic, both I and members of my family have experienced nothing but stress from this place since we moved here. Yes some of the staff are friendly and I can’t fault the hygienist’s work when she once cleaned my teeth, but honestly, I cannot warn you away from this place enough.

Negative experience: Making customers wait outside is not good and then having to ring to let you know we are there, then only to get the answer machine. Not good enough, nowhere to go if its raining. I could go on but I won't, I'm seriously thinking about cancelling my den plan, Tin Mayfield.

Fantastic experience: From being terrified for many years over visiting "THE DENTIST!" I was recommended this practice from a friend. Nick has the patience of a saint, he talks me through all treatments explains everything and has a very calming influence. Visiting the dentist is still not top of list to do, but gradually childhood memories of bad experience have very much faded. I very much recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using Carlton House Dental Practice for a long time. The first task was to fix a root canal filling, botched by another dentist. The care and skill gave me confidence that I had found a competent team. Since then I have had some crowns fitted, these have been excellent and moved me from having poor teeth to a solid base for long term dental health. The skilled dental work is supported by a hygienist who has helped me improve my oral health, bleeding gums are a thing of the past. I’ve learnt about the best ways to clean my teeth and the best tools and techniques to keep my teeth and gums healthy. I’m very impressed with the team at Carlton House and I’m very confident about their ability to help me have healthy teeth and gums.

We always say...it's like visiting friends when we come to Carlton House!! All the staff have managed the surgery during the Covid outbreak amazingly well. The changes in the surgery to keep all the patients and the staff safe have been managed in a calm but efficient manner. We came to Nick following a really unpleasant experience from a previous dentist.SO glad we did. Nick put right all the neglect we had experienced from our previous dentist and his amazing talent and attention has made a huge difference to us. Nina,our hygienist is very thorough and explains any changes she feels we should adopt to maintain a healthy mouth in a helpful and understanding way. Nick and the team have been fantastic from day one, I have recently had a root canal done and it was absolutely fine, the team were so lovely and I no longer feel nervous when going for appointments. Fantastic experience: Always five stars without a doubt. A lovely welcome, first class care and I have complete faith in my dentist. I almost look forward to my appointments. An email from Carlton House Dental Surgery asked, ‘how many stars would you give us’. It started me thinking that the review stars look a bit like jewels in a crown. As an aside, if you are as old as me, you will remember the Ring of Confidence toothpaste advert with the star sign that highlighted the teeth to an even more dazzling whiteness. But to the point. I had one fitted today, a crown, I mean. It is a triumph of precision and artistry. I know the people at the laboratory deserve a little of the credit but, as ever, the care and attention to detail at Carlton House is just wonderful. The only disappointment is that the crown is in my mouth. I have looked at it many times today already but who else is to see it? This evening I have to take a choir rehearsal. I will keep my mouth as open as possible and to draw attention, I have made a sign with an arrow and stars on it pointing directly to lower left. And, yes. That’s five stars!

Fantastic experience: Dear All, My Dentist is Nick and hygienist Nina who I have great respect and appreciation for, they have looked after my teeth for over 10 years. I trust both professionals, they do their very best to keep my teeth in as good a condition as possible. My questions are always answered in a way I understand and any concerns listened to and allayed. They are the most gentle, dedicated and personable dental practitioners I have experienced and I have nothing but praise for all the treatments I have received. Both Nick and Nina were recommended to me and I could not recommend them highly enough to others. The reception/supporting staff create and maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, you feel valued and never ignored. I travel 130 miles round trip to attend this practice which no doubt speaks for itself.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful dentist surgery, with wonderful staff. The dentists are extremely kind and caring, and any pain is at an absolute minimum. I had a root filling yesterday, and I can honestly say that it was pain free. Before you receive a numbing injection, you have something put onto your gum so that the injection doesn’t hurt, and whilst having any procedure, they constantly check that you are fine. I am an extremely nervous person around dentists, and I always leave the dentist asking myself why on earth was I worried. Cannot recommend highly enough (and no, I am not related to any of them in any way, so this is an honest review).

Fantastic experience: After more than 50 years of non-stop fillings, crowns, root canal and extractions, I recently decided to go private and moved to Carlton House - what a difference! A nice, low stress atmosphere throughout the practice and wonderful dental care from Steve and from Nina. I have not needed any significant intervention for nearly two years now - couldn't be better.

He is an expert dentist that takes pride in putting you at ease.. Nina the hygienist is thorough but gentle.. The rest of the team are just completely lovely.. You really don't need to fear the dentist chair whilst we are so fortunate to have access to the.. Best Dental practice in Leicestershire.. The new.. On trial.. machine for cleaning and polishing is an innovation and really a very pleasant experience I so hope you get to keep it.. Mum had an extremely painful issue which needed urgent attention, Nick quickly identified the issue and referred mum to another dental professional for treatment which was successful. Following this and despite having to travel over an hour to get to Carlton House Dental Practice mum is happy to continue her dental care with Nick. Fantastic experience: 5.0 /5 I have attended Carlton House Dental Centre in the Hinckley area for many years now and would not consider trusting any other practice with my dentistry needs. From the brilliant expertise and endless patience of Steve, my dentist, right through to the welcoming, friendly staff, the relaxing atmosphere of the practice and the genuine interest in me as an individual unique person, the care is superb. The ongoing training that everyone in the centre must receive is evident in the up to date techniques and materials used. Appointments are always on time, to your convenience and you are given as much time as each procedure requires so you never feel rushed. Any hint of discomfort is taken care of making a visit to Steve and the Carlton House staff, a pleasurable experience and not one to be feared at all. Steve has saved my teeth where others may have not whilst Bobby and Helen (hygienists) take care of my gums. A practice that deals with routine dental care, emergencies when they arise and preventative techniques, Carlton House in Hinckley area is to be highly recommended to everyone.

Fantastic experience: When I first saw Steve I was receiving chemotherapy and had been quite seriously ill with no immunity. I required urgent dental treatment which is not usually recommended during chemo. Steve was extremely accommodating and arranged to see me straightaway. I was completely re-assured by him and was totally confident about the hygiene standards which was extremely important for me at that time. I have total faith in his skills and greatly appreciate his calm, relaxed approach. I am always impressed by the innovative and preventative care techniques used by the practice. The whole team are friendly, approachable, professional and nothing is too much trouble. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the practice wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about visiting a new Dentist after a previously bad experience, I thought that I would never be comfortable letting another Dentist examine my teeth. They were all very understanding and gently helped me build my confidence, now I regularly see Nina. I hadn't seen a hygienist ever before and now my mouth now feels excellent. I recently even had my wisdom teeth removed after a consultation to discuss the procedure. Great Dentists and worth travelling out of Hinckley for!

I'm 57 years old and want to keep the teeth I have in the best condition possible and Steve has certainly made this possible. Any slight problems with my teeth are spotted at my check ups and fixed . Fantastic experience: I had a traumatic experience as a child with my baby teeth and this left me never wanting to goto the dentist unless in pain. Properly not the best way to see a dentist but none ever made me feel comfortable. Having moved from Leicester out to the villages and finding myself in pain, I asked around for a dentist for nervous patients. Steve was recommended to me by more than one person. I went that first day sweating and with white knuckles in his chair. I was greeted with a smile and everything was explained to me, I was not given the feeling that i was being rushed in fact we ran over slightly. I have now been seeing Steve for more than 10 years. I have been to one other dentist in this time, Nick his partner who saw me over a weekend. An emergency appointment on a weekend morning, Nick to made me feel welcome un-rushed. I now live in Warminster and travel up to visit MY Dentist. If you like me have had a bad experience at a dentist. You will hard pushed to find a better one in the midlands. I can’t say I have got rid of all my nerves but I know I am in safe hands with a great team. I wish they were all like this!
