Fantastic experience: As usual Dr Soon was very thorough in talking through the issues around my tooth and sinuses and communication about the treatment was excellent. 2026 update: just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr Rikin Patel. Really pleased with the results and how quickly they were achieved. Recommend Dental Arts and especially Invisalign treatment with Dr Patel

Fantastic experience: I've had brilliant experiences with both Dr. Rikin and hygienist Florentine at Dental Arts Studio, and they've completely transformed my dental care. Florentine, the hygienist, worked her magic and made my teeth look so clean and naturally whiter. What impressed me the most was Florentine's genuine dedication to helping clients improve their oral hygiene. She took the time to explain how to care for my implants and shared helpful tips that even my dentist hadn't mentioned before. Her attention to detail, kindness, and sensitivity to the concerns I had about my teeth made me feel truly looked after. By the end of the session, I felt so grateful I gave her a hug. You can tell Florentine truly loves what she does, and she's amazing at it. Dr. Rikin then helped me with several treatments including a fantastic job on the crown and then teeth whitening as I wanted to improve my smile further. What really stood out was how careful he was about not overdoing things. Before proceeding with whitening, he first recommended trying airflow cleaning, which I hadn't heard of but it removed loads of stains effectively. When I decided to go ahead with the whitening, Dr. Rikin was upfront about everything and mentioned that some of my fillings might look obvious afterwards. He was right, and the whitening worked really well. He then sorted the fillings brilliantly, using different methods from bonding to full feelings replacement to make everything look natural without doing more work than necessary. Dr. Rikin is really focused on keeping your natural teeth healthy. He gave me the most detailed check up I've had in 15 years living in the UK. It actually felt like someone cared about sorting out problems properly rather than just doing quick fixes. The thing that surprised me most was that whenever I had questions, he'd either call me back or see me quickly at the practice to go through things. I've honestly never had a dentist do that before. He's also just a really kind and nice person to deal with. The receptionists are always very helpful as well, making the whole experience smooth from booking to follow-up. I'm moving abroad soon but whenever I'm back in the UK, I'll definitely book in with Dr. Rikin and Florentine for check ups. If you're like me and have been struggling to find good dental care in the UK, seriously consider Dental Arts Studio. Both Florentine and Dr. Rikin are outstanding.

Having previously undergone extensive dental work in New York City, I was looking for a dentist who could maintain and enhance my dental health. Dr. Patel has exceeded my expectations—he is gentle, patient, accommodating, and highly professional. When it was time to update my major restorations, he guided me through the process with care and expertise, and the results are fantastic—my smile has never looked better! I’ve also seen Dr. Moshouris (Petros) for an implant and he was also part of my restorations team. It’s a huge advantage to have access to such skilled specialists all in one place. The entire hygienist team is also excellent—thorough, friendly, and attentive at every visit!

Fantastic experience: Met Somayya today – absolute legend. She was attentive, professional, and incredibly reassuring throughout the entire appointment. The clean was both thorough and gentle, and she took the time to explain everything clearly, checking in often to make sure I was comfortable. Honestly one of the best hygienist experiences I’ve had – I felt genuinely well looked after. (Worth noting: the sink did gurgle ominously mid-clean – mildly terrifying, but a small price to pay for spotless teeth.)

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Dr. Rikin Patel and hygienist Florentina-Rodica Agachi since February 2025, and I couldn't be happier! From the moment I stepped in, their warm smiles and genuine empathy made me feel completely at ease, especially after admitting I hadn't been to a dentist in years. They never blamed me; instead, they reassured me I was in good hands and focused on helping me improve my oral health. My oral health has genuinely transformed. Thanks to their gentle guidance, including Dr. Patel's advice on an electric toothbrush and proper brushing techniques (and helping me correct mine!), and Florentina's introduction to interdental brushes, my gums are now healthier (no more bleeding!). Their gentle approach, clear explanations, and genuine care make every visit stress-free. I completely trust them, feel relaxed during my appointments, and even feel proud of myself while following their directions at home. Highly recommend this practice! A very big shout out to Rafael in the reception who called me several times to keep me updated with changes in times and offered me the possibility of starting my treatment at an earlier point due some cancellations from other patients. Fantastic experience: I had a root canal and a cap done by another dentist, which always troubled me. I went to Dr. Rikin to get a second opinion and he explained what needed to be done. Since he performed his magic on it I have been pain free for over a year! Additionally I went to him for Invisalign and he provided such great treatment and service! I am done now and very happy! He is very patient and answers all your questions. He makes you feel very comfortable. He provides the best advice and doesn’t push you to do more than you need to. Fantastic experience: I was recently seen by Dr. Soon and Ms. Refai and they were both incredible, very patient, kind, and gentle, they made sure I was as comfortable as possible - and I have really bad anxiety when it comes to dental appointments. Fantastic experience: This is an excellent dental practice. It is clean, smart and welcoming. Dr Rikin Patel has treated me for a number of years including for Invisalign treatment. He is extremely professional, patient, thorough, considerate and excellent at his job. He always takes the time to explain procedures carefully which is reassuring. I have had gum treatment, whitening and Invisalign. After having Invisalign for 1 year I am now finished. My very wonky teeth are now straight and even. Photo below shows my teeth the day after the Invisalign was finished. I am so delighted with the procedure and wish I had done it years ago. I totally recommend this practice and Invisalign. It's a great dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has nervous tendencies when visiting the dentist, I have since found a relaxed, calming place in Dental Arts Studio. Dr Rikin is patient, friendly and always positive! Also the hygienist(Somaya) is super nice too. Facilities are clean, staff always helpful and treatments carried out with care.

Negative experience: The dentist was very professional and kind. However, I had a poor experience at the reception and overall I felt disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have been comings to DAS on City Road for about 15 years now and Dr Soon is without doubt the best dentist I have ever had. After having 4 teeth removed as a child and then losing two front teeth in a cycling accident as a teenager, I’ve always been quite tense and anxious when visiting dentists and having work done. Dr Soon is incredibly competent and reassuring, taking time to give clear explanations and talk through options. Somaya is also without doubt the best hygienist I’ve ever seen too. That was always the least pleasant bit to have the scale and polish treatment but Somaya, like Dr Soon is hugely reassuring and highly competent, and I no longer worry about having any pain or discomfort during the hygienist visit. Although DAS is the most expensive dentists I’ve used and is no longer convenient/ close to work, I keep going as the price is worth it compared to what I’ve paid vs treatment received elsewhere. I have seen a couple of other members of the team also for teeth straightening plus root canal and again, highly competent and reassuring throughout. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is a great dental practice. Today I had the second of 2 wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Rikin was excellent. Both extractions were painless and with very little discomfort. He went through the procedure beforehand and was very attentive to my needs and questions. After care was fully explained. A pleasure - as much as it can be!!

Negative experience: I had great experience with the dentist, however I am a bit surprised with the receptionist. When I booked my appointment on the phone I just knew she didn't get my name correctly - because of my accent, so not her fault. She also didn't get my email correctly because I didn't receive the the confirmation email. Anyway when I got there I told the receptionist that I know my name and email were not written down correctly because of my accent and if she could correct them so my record is not under a wrong name. She just looked at me weird and told me we can do it later and that I should sit down. After my procedure and before paying I tried doing it again but she brushed me off again in a similar fashion. Edit. The filling I got here actually fell out about two months after my visit and I went to see a more competent dentist to fix it.

The team are courteous, most friendly and extremely competent. I have had superb treatment from them, both in Hendon and City Road, for over 30 years and have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in awarding them my highest recommendation. Anyone who has reservations about dental care should definitely try them. They will not find a more positive, gentle and effective treatment centre.

Fantastic experience: I was delighted to be recommended Dr Rikin Patel at City Road Dental Arts Studio. He is a fantastic dentist who inspired me with the trust and confidence to proceed with cosmetic dental work to improve my smile. I had never had the nerve to do it before as I have a Maryland bridge from when I lost a front tooth in an accident. The bridge remained intact and, within just 5 months of treatment with invisible braces, my teeth are now perfectly straight and my smile is rejuvenated. The finishing touches to level my lower teeth really made a difference. I highly recommend the enlighten whitening treatment at the end, which worked really quickly. I had no sensitivity at all. I have a new level of confidence about by teeth, especially in photographs. Everyone comments on my straight teeth and improved smile. I highly recommend Dr Rikin Patel. He is such an expert, friendly and caring dentist.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentist. So caring. Always checking if something hurts, and trying to minimise the pain as much as possible. I've had nothing but the best service from this dentist. As a result, I started taking much better care of my teeth, and going to the hygienist regularly. Better dental hygiene has meant that dental work hurts less. The first time I went there, it took two hygienist sessions and several shots of anaesthetic to clean my whole mouth. These days, it's quick and basically pain-free (I wouldn't call it "pleasant" - tooth cleaning is still somewhat uncomfortable - but the sensation is a minor inconvenience, never rising to the level of "pain"). I couldn't recommend this dentist more.

Negative experience: After going there for a treatment the dentist advice me to do dressing and then filling, to safe the teeth from rooth canal. After i spent more then 300£ i went there to check for mi teeth because it was sensible on cold, and the dentist give an antobiotic and say that i may need a rooth canal and there will be an extra cost of 800£. If you go there be carefull, they are tryng to add more appointments to get more money from patient's.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to see Dr Rikin Patel by best mates partner. I managed to get an appointment quite quickly, the staff were amazing they made me feel very comfortable, in the lounge there was great coffee and comfortable sofas. I was seen by Dr Rikin and what a great team they were. They took care of me with minimum pain. I would definitely recommend seeing him to anyone who wants a greater smile. Fantastic experience: Dr. Klaudia Tombolis is a real gem! I have never met more honest and genuine dentist. She is not just one of those dentists who charges you zillions for nothing. She truly cares and she is a real pro and I absolutely trust her. She has fixed all my teeth, saved my smile, gave me my confidence back and became my hero :) I love this practice! The staff is always professional, super accommodating and friendly. The place is always clean, tidy and presentable.

Negative experience: I found out about Dental Arts Studio in City Road through the website of my insurance company (Denplan). I made an appointment for a routine check and asked them if the treatment was covered by my insurance company which they confirmed several times without asking any additional questions. When I was at the appointment they also advised me to have a hygienic clean done and confirmed again that this was a very standard treatment and was also going to be covered. When I claimed for the cost of the treatments the insurance company confirmed that none of the treatments were covered in full and that the dentist had misinformed me and shouldn’t have confirmed any insurance covered. The dentist practice didn’t admit any of this and refused to give me any refund of a treatment that I wouldn’t have had done if I knew that it was outside my coverage. In addition to this, the hygienic clean was performed in a very painful way from my point of view in order to be able to complete the treatment within the same time as a routine check. Overall the experience has been very disappointing.
