Fantastic experience: After having been under the care of many dentists for a tooth problem, it was only when I consulted Wayne that he identified the cause of the problem and proceeded to treat it instead of directly treating the symptom. He has a very calm manner and is wonderful at explaining everything that is happening so you understand, easing anxiety. He recognised the stress that my dental issue was putting me under and made the effort to squeeze me into his busy schedule to treat me. Was very happy that he opted for a conservative approach as opposed to recommending complex procedures like other dentists. This is the first time I have sat in that dental chair and felt like I could trust the dentist.

Fantastic experience: After years of visiting different dentists, I was so happy to find London City Dentists. In one appointment, Dr. Wayne Holness painlessly eliminated the shooting pains I had been experiencing for years by carefully and meticulously adjusting my bite. My whole mouth now feels really comfortable. Money very well spent; you definintely get what you pay for. I was so impressed with the efficiency and care received, I enquired about having my teeth whitened. I must admit, I was not looking forward to teeth impressions being taken and wearing uncomfortable whitening trays overnight but I needn't have worried. The whole experience was actually quite relaxing, the trays have been very comfortable and the results have been amazing. Highly recommended 6* treatment! Having just had my 6 month hygiene visit, I wanted to update my review. My experience was as stress free as usual. I do think the relaxing music helps! People always comment on my teeth and smile, so a huge thank you to the London City Dentist team for always looking after me so well.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr Wayne Holness and his team. I approached London City Dentists after a bad experience with a different dentist involving a filling that left me in a lot of pain. Dr Wayne took great care to understand and address the issue. He clearly explained his plan and gave me plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Dr Wayne removed the old filling and reconstructed the tooth and I am relieved to say that I am no longer in any pain. Very pleased with the result - thank you Dr Wayne & team.

Fantastic experience: The first thing Dr Holness said to me was "I treat people... Not teeth", then went on to prove it and then some. He is an extremely talented dentist but this is not his strong point, I have seen a number of different dentists over the years and none of them come close to matching Wayne's enthusiasm and attention to detail, he genuinely gets excited about doing the best possible job. Great surgery, Great staff and really cool and relaxing music. The trickier the job the better he likes it. You will not find better dental treatment anywhere on the planet. Still seeing Wayne after 10 years... enough said.

Fantastic experience: I would thoroughly recommend this Dental practice - Terrific dentist with gentle hands and a calming aura. I had a general clean and needed one tooth removed (it had been over 5 years without seeing a dentist) - I was very sore and anxious before my visit, only to be almost immediately calmed by the friendly staff but in particular by the dentist himself. Dr Holness was incredible. Felt no pain during the procedure, which was incredibly quick but thorough. For the first time ever, i think I will not be anxious for my next visit. The practice itself was easy to find, exceptionally clean as one would expect - Five stars for sure!

Fantastic experience: I had a bicycle accident where I brought my two front teeth on the concrete, breaking off enamel and chipping the teeth. Dr. Wayne was able to get me in on the next business day which was a Monday. He spent two hours, much longer than he originally thought. He did a phenomenal job. My teeth look exactly the same as they did before the accident. I would say he is a bit of a perfectionist. When it comes to working on my teeth and my smile in my face iand appearance, I like a perfectionist working on my teeth. It’s two weeks later. I haven’t had any thought, or reason to go back.. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at London City Dentists - Dr Wayne and Denisa were able to squeeze me in on short notice for the extraction of wisdom teeth that were causing me pain. Fantastic experience: For quite a few years I’ve been suffering from completely debilitating headaches that initially start off from my neck and move over my head and face. During these episodes I would have to take strong painkillers in addition to continuously ensuring my fingers are pressed on my jaw joints. The headaches never subsided. I even went down the route of trying nerve blockers, which also did not provide any relief. It was during a routine dental appointment , that Dr Wayne Holness had pointed out I had an anterior open bite and so forth began the journey of suggesting treatment. To be honest, I could not connect how my neck aches would be associated with my bite, but trusting in the expertise and care of the dentist we started of removing my wisdom teeth to see whether that would provide any relief. I was then referred to an Orthodontist who suggested Jaw Surgery as a line of treatment; which made me quite anxious and so I was referred to an incredibly knowledgeable dental bite analyst called Dr Ian Bucke at London City Dentists; who had informed me of my bite, my jaw joint and how there would be a multi disciplinary team of Orthodontist and Oral Surgeons involved to ensure any treatment that takes place would be focussed on the stable jaw position. Dr Ian also suggested that whilst waiting to see the Oral Surgeon and Ortho within their Joint Clinic, I should have a Splint made. Finding someone who connected everything together for sure was relieving and reassuring so I went ahead and had the Splint made and fitted by Dr Holness. Up until this point I was blindly following the treatment plan that the trusted specialists had suggested. However after having the splint fitted, I had a lightbulb moment in which I had realised the level of discomfort that I was in due to my bite and jaw , and how only the initial step within the treatment had made such a radical impact on my level of comfort. It has now become essential to ensuring  a comfortable sleep (where my jaw does not need to be supported with my fist - something I had never noticed before and had simply understood it to be my preferred sleeping position). In addition to sleep, during the day it acts as a support mechanism in connecting my bottom and top jaws, which up until now always felt like they never met properly , with the anterior open bite really making my jaw joints tired. After the splint was fitted , I had another episode of my neck induced headache, which was so severe, impacting on my jaw muscles and facial nerves that I could not eat or drink. I remember reaching out for my pain killers and the splint simultaneously, whilst the pain killers worked on relieving the pain, the splint was supporting my jaw providing immediate relief to the discomfort around my jaw and ears that always comes with these headaches whenever I get them. I had never connected all this together, always accepted the eating, sleeping and overall sensation of tiredness in my jaws (casually subconsciously massaging them during the day) as being part of how I was. However, the splint has made me realise just how unnatural those sensations were and in fact how a correct bite can impact drastically on your entire lifestyle. I would absolutely recommend my family and friends to get this treatment, and will for sure be responding quicker to any advice given by the dentists regarding my own childrenss bites. I would do anything to ensure they don’t suffer from years of neck induced headaches that could be addressed by addressing the correct centric relation. I am only on the first stage of the treatment but I would like to thank Dr Holness who through his attentiveness to my random stories of how my week had gone had noticed repetition of the same type of headaches and through his thorough understanding was able to identify a potential cause and begin the treatment plan whilst guiding me towards the right specialist. What you have done is give me an opportunity for a quality of life without being plagued by debilitating pain that could be addressed and treated.

Fantastic experience: Wayne is an excellent dentist and I continue to be impressed with the standard of work of his work. He is very patient in explaining the need and purpose of any treatment and takes a holistic approach which I appreciate. I have have also had root canal treatment with Vip, Wayne’s recommended endodontist, and received the same high level of care. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Wayne and his team.

Fantastic experience: Wayne has been my dentist for more than 20 years. He is excellent. I find him efficient and patient (especially dealing with someone who is nervous of having dental work carried out). From complex dental problems to straightforward cleaning he is always thoughtful, properly explains what needs to be done, and works with the minimum of fuss. I find the surgery is always available when I need it and appointments are easy to arrange. I cannot recommend Wayne highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Wayne is a great dentist who appreciates a City professionals expectations and schedule constraints. I have been seeing Wayne for a number of years and wouldn't consider moving anywhere else, even if I had to travel further to my appointments. I have only had simple hygiene and maintenance work done and put very simply my teeth look 10 times better than previously. People often comment on how good they look. Who could ask for more than that? I'm revisiting this review as I am still using Wayne as a dentist. My teeth have been great over the last decade and now look better than ever!

Fantastic experience: Dr Wayne Holness and his team were extremely patient, diligent and happy to talk through with me what my options were going forward, which ones would be most appropriate to me and what plan would be most suited to me in going forward in terms of treatment and care. Fantastic experience: Our introduction to Dr Holness was initially as an emergency appointment for my son. Due to his caring nature and professionalism we all now see him as a family. He has a fantastic team and everyone makes you feel very welcome and relaxed. Both my Husband and I required some overdue dental work which Dr Holness explained thoroughly and created a plan for us both. My treatments were all pain free and Dr Holness was very conscious that I was extremely nervous. I unconsciously grind my teeth and required a night-guard to be made (customised Michigan Splint). If I am honest I wasn’t 100% convinced it would make a difference but within a week my jaw was less tight and I am now into 2 months of having used the guard every night. My tension headaches have reduced by about 60% already and I most definitely sleep better. I would definitely recommend Dr Holness and his team and so would our Children! Sent from my iPhone

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wayne and his staff were extremely considerate of the entire holistic situation regarding my need for emergency dental care, i.e. fracturing a tooth during an auto accident. Dr. Wayne set aside time for me to ensure I could be seen quickly and thoroughly by both himself and an endodontist if needed. He proactively shared advice as well his professional report for insurance claims. He was empathetic and considerate of my wellbeing since the crash AND my longstanding discomfort in the dentists chair. That said, his professionalism, communication, gentleness, and thorough use of relaxation techniques (e.g. breathing through anesthetic shots, ambient music) made my actual experience in his chair the most calming and pain-free dental experience I've ever been through. Thanks Dr. Wayne for restoring my tooth to an unbelievably realistic state and for restoring my faith in the craft of dentistry!

Fantastic experience: Dr Wayne Holness is amazing. I have been to Dentists in the past but none of them come on top like him and his two lovely Nurses. After suffering with some tooth issues for some time with not being able to 'bite' or 'clench' my teeth together properly, Dr Holness discovered what the issues where in an instant and worked his magic on my teeth. Within less than 24 hours of seeing him not only was I able to bite properly again, I was also able to clench my teeth together again :) I am so happy to have finally met a Dentist with Nurses who really do care about the true health of your teeth and also truly look after you as their patient.

Fantastic experience: After being diagnosed with Autism/ADHD at 39, with years of substance abuse and a terrible diet a tooth broke. I found London City Dentist and almost immediately I was seen with the tooth quickly. I asked about the rest of my teeth and thankfully they made time for me - I literally cried at the state of my mouth which I was told was falling apart with decay. London City Dentist made a plan, calmed me, reassured me, acted as councilors - they're extremely professional and only offer THE best treatment. I seen an oral surgeon there had 2 teeth out and with a fair few more visits, Wayne, managed to rescue a further 5teeth after repairing my entire mouth. After a few visits I felt so welcomed and relaxed, I even fell asleep in the chair during work carried out - this is amazing as I usually can't sit still, follow instructions and don't trust easily. The atmosphere is relaxing (no other people in waiting room making noise or coughing on you), the staff are SOOOO helpful, polite, honest, caring it's unreal - they have a passion for the work they do and it shows - they even guarantee their work!!! This is by far the best dental practice I've ever experienced in 6 large UK cities and 3 small UK towns. Amazing hard working people, couldn't rate them any higher. They are now the only dental practice I'd want to visit.

Fantastic experience: A Trauma followed by an urgent need to visit a dental office brought me to London city dentists' office ,doctor Wayne a long with his team, got me in for a visit just one day after the call. Despite covid-19 restrictions I was taken in a good care and just in a matter of hours my problem was fixed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seen by dr. Holness for a broken front tooth and bite adjustment. I entered the surgery doubting if there was anything to be done to save what was left of my tooth. Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist during COVID 19 had left me with a lot of anxiety, but needing to have a tooth extraction was outweighing the anxiety. From the moment I arrived at the practice the safety measures that where in place where of the highest standards and immediately gave me confidence and reassurance. Fantastic experience: Soon after my arrival in London, a mild discomfort started. The doctor's assistant somehow made the time for the dentist to see me. After meeting Dr. Holness, I saw why: he dedicates time to you and treats you as an individual. He worked around my schedule and personally referred me to a specialist at a point when more sophisticated work was needed. I am extremely pleased.

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended Dr. Holness. I am a visitor in London. I visited because of a toothache. But because of the time and interest he dedicated to my case, he discovered how a painless tooth was the link to a 6-year old sinusitis problem that many previous otorhinolaryngologists had missed. The day after the root canal the sinusitis and headaches disappeared, and after two months, are still gone. That is patient care and attention to detail, and Dr. Holness is the best dentist I've ever had.

He managed to achieve this by building up my teeth and filling in gaps by hand with composite resin, effectively saving me ££££'s as we didn't use veneers or porcelain. He also whitened them and I really couldn't be happier with the result. Cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Heartfelt thanks again to the London City Dentists team.

Fantastic experience: I had an accident during playing sport and one of my crowns needed re-cementing. I found Dr. Holness online and i'm very happy that i did as i became his patient about a year ago. Dr. Holness and his staff are super nice and very helpful and patient, always takes time to explain the procedure and despite being quite nervous patient, I feel very comfortable with him. If only i could i would give him 6 stars i would, as he saved couple of my teeth and fixed my night-guard, which I can now very comfortably wear. I highly recommend him and his practice

Fantastic experience: Had an accident and broke my tooth during vacation in Europe. Fortunately I found London City Dentists, which is only 2 min walk from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They managed to give me a quick emergency appointment within 2 hours. Dr Wayne Holness did an excellent job in reconstructing my tooth. He was very patient and explained the condition well. I had a follow-up check with my dentist in NYC - even he said Dr Holness did an amazing job!

Fantastic experience: Extremely polite and professional, Dr Wayne Holness has done an absolutely fantastic job helping me begin to resolve a wisdom tooth issue, and in spotting that a few-year old seal over a "stain" was not, in fact, a stain at all. I'm so grateful that he investigated this further and was able to resolve the hidden issue for me before it came to a root canal job.

Fantastic experience: Wayne Holness has taken super care of my teeth for over 15 years. Not only professional and very empathetic, I often felt I was his only client – and nearly always his favourite! This was especially so when I injured a front tooth in a fall. Fantastic experience: My husband had a flap surgery done in Turkey which his stitching needed to come out after 10-15days however, no dentist was willing to take out his stitching after calling and booking appointments, calling 111 even the dental hospital every single dentist refused to take out his stitching to the point that we given up hope and my husband took out his own stitching but there was 3-4 left which he promised me not to touch it again till I found a dentist that was willing to take it out for him. After 12 dentist and 3 visits we have finally found one that was sooooo easy to book and took max 10mins and took everything out for him. I recommend Dr. Waiyne Holness very much he is an amazing dentist and person. The staff members are soooo helpful and amazing, so friendly. The practice is not near us but we are willing to travel there from now on and that will be his dentist from now on. My husband is very very happy with the results and for any future dental care he will be seeing him again for 100%.

Fantastic experience: Dr Wayne, Is a dental genius! I'd suffered from chronic neck and jaw pain for many years... I thought that it was connected to my back. During a routine visit with Dr. Wayne after his careful investigation he'd uncovered my teeth clenching habit during the night, as a result I had 3 cracked teeth! Dr. Wayne suggested that I be fitted with a mouth guard, at first I was a bit worried and unsure that I couldn't mange wearing something while I slept. After wearing it for just one night the pain that I had experienced for so long- had all but disappeared.Dr. Holness is a miracle worker! He will be my dentist for life. I highly recommend him for all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Wayne Holness is simply the best dentist I've ever had.....

Fantastic experience: London City Dentists saw me within hours of calling. Extremely helpful and efficient. I have a phobia about dentists and was very worried about going. Dr Wayne Holness and his nurse Laurie were truly wonderful. Dr Holness clearly explained the options available to me and treatment in detail with no pressure to proceed. Used state of the art equipment and constantly re-assured me and checked that I was ok. Extremely kind and gentle. I feel this is the only dentist I would return to - even if it means travelling half way round the world to do so as I live in Hong Kong!

Fantastic experience: Despite my best efforts, I have had an increasing number of problems with my teeth over the past few years. With my latest bout of pain, I decided to have a number of intensive sessions to salvage my teeth and restore a bit of self confidence. Wayne and the team at London City Dentists spent hours fastidiously rectifying a number of problems with my teeth. All the time I was there I felt comfortable (almost falling asleep in the chair at some points) - completely at odds to my experiences at other dentists. Wayne has really transformed my mouth, and I couldn't recommend the practice more!

Fantastic experience: One of the best dentist practices that I've ever been to. I had several treatments done, including a crown placement, deep cleansing, cavity filling and a few teeth extracted to top it off. Considering the treatment above, Dr Holness also taught me how to properly maintain my teeth... Each treatment was painless, quick and professional. I also had some good music to listen to along the way. They are generally very good at keeping appointments and fitting their schedules around their patients needs. Dr. Holness is very kind and professional, and his nurses are brilliant and caring. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering from earache, crunching noises in the jaw and a bit of pain in the left hand side of my face. I thought I had an ear infection and went to the doctors who couldn't see anything wrong. I finally decided it was just old age and would have to live with it! I mentioned this to Wayne at my regular appointment and he took a lot of trouble looking at my bite, jaw etc etc and told me he thought that basically my back teeth were rubbing together when they shouldn't be. He filed down the back teeth ever so slightly, and Hey Presto, all the pain, crunching, ear ache has disappeared. Who would have thought such a simple procedure could achieve such great results. Wayne himself is kind, caring and very good at his job. I would recommend anybody to his dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Single-dentist practice with two dental nurses. Lovely, competent, kind dentist who did everything he could to make me relaxed (including letting me choose the music!) Dentist does all cleans himself. Really highly recommended; will hopefully be my dentist for a very long time.
