They were patient, professional and courteous, as were all the staff at Mullan Gallagher Dental Care. The billing was transparent and at the first appointment I was given a written estimate for the whole treatment. The estimate proved to be accurate. If I could give this practice ten stars, I would. Negative experience: I turned up for my last appointment (which I waited for 9 months for as I work full time and couldn't get an afternoon appointment as I am an NHS rather than a private patient) and was told it had been cancelled and that I had received a text to inform me. Unfortunately that was not the case as I checked my messages and I had definitely not been sent notification of any cancellation. Feeling disappointed and let down, I politely made a new appointment which surprisingly was on a Friday evening at 4:55. I arrived on time, only to be told that my appointment was to be delayed by at least 45 minutes. Well, sorry to moan, but I drove an hour and left work early to be there on time after working all week. The last thing you want to hear on a Friday night at 4:55 pm is that you are going to be sitting in a dentist waiting room for that length of time. I too have a professional job, and would be severely repremanded if I let anyone down like that. Basically it appears to be the case that if you are employed you need to go private, otherwise you will be extremely fortunate to get an appointment that may suit. (I was informed that afternoon/evening appointments are now reserved for private patients only.) Really this is so disappointing as I and my family have been with this company for over 10 years.

Negative experience: Been a patient here since I was a child. Disappointed at patient attention. Rang last week with an emergency , was in a lot of Pain! They said they'd get back. I am still Waiting! Just as well I had my rotten tooth extracted by another dentist. Was with Mullan Gallagher in November for a check up . No mention of my rotten tooth but yes recommendations for hygienst 4 times a Year! Seriously!!! Found a great dentist in Strangford and won't be Back!!!! I had to give them at least one star to post This but they don't even deserve That!

Fantastic experience: My first appointments here were back in 2011 when I had to have a root canal filling. I hadn't been to a dentist for more than twenty years and I only got registered there because one of my molars was literally crumbling! Fortunately the dentist was able to put it right and didn't have to extract the bad tooth. I've been visiting about every six months since then and other than two or three more fillings I haven't had any more problems. The staff here are as friendly and professional as they come. Top notch treatment!

Fantastic experience: My family attends this practice and I have finally joined up myself, and I can say with confidence that these guys are great, really friendly and top notch pros at what they do! I’m looked after by Rebecca and she has brought my mouth right up to Hollywood status! The monthly private payments are very reasonable (I couldn’t join in NHS) but I’m happy enough with this as the treatments are very reasonably priced, compared to what I hear my friends pay! I’m happy with my results so far and now look forward to going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: For years I wasn’t happy or confident with my smile / teeth. I decided to look into getting Invisalign and I spoke with Daniel about how this could work for me. There was full transparency right from the first appointment, I knew what the cost was going to be and there would be no surprises. Daniel then completed scan of my mouth and within around a week I had a 3D digital model showing how the position of my teeth would move over the full process, this was great that I could see the possible outcome. Daniel was always at hand if I had any issues throughout and was very responsive to my email queries. After I finished the Invisalign treatment I then had some composite bonding done to tidy up around the edges etc, again - very happy with the results and Daniel was able to make adjustments as I required. Nothing was a bother! Overall, super happy with my treatment, communication and end result!

Negative experience: I recently took my son for a check up which was fine and I had no issues. However when I went to book myself a check up I was told I had been taken off their NHS list as I had not seen a dentist since November 2019. Over this period there was a pandemic and we were advised only to see a dentist in an emergency. I did not have any problems so did not book a visit. I assumed that the practice would have contacted me for a check up. As a nurse working in the NHS I feel that being taken off the list for protecting the team is completely unfair!

Fantastic experience: My first treatment in the practice, having moved from a previous dentist ( now retired after looking after me tremendously well for 36 years) and I can honestly say that I couldn't have asked for better care and service. The whole team have been brilliant but special thanks to Maria and Laura Mc, who provided a level of care, attention and welcome at least equal to my previous dentist (a standard which I consider very high). I'm very grateful to the team for making the transition between dentists easy and literally painless.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist used to make me nervous - I suppose no one loves it… but since I’ve started to go to Maria it’s been great. She seems to be some sort of dental wizard. I had root canal work - over several appointments as it was a tricky tooth - and other than the little jeg of the needle to freeze I felt nothing. Fantastic experience: Maria and Laura are a dream team. Such lovely personable people who put my very nervous daughter at such ease. Their care has been second to none and Maria informed her of everything that was going to happen and checked she was okay throughout. They get 5 stars from me as we’ve gone from tears and nerves to the stage now where my daughter asks me to make appointments to have her teeth cleaned professionally and is eager to look after her dental health and have a happy, healthy smile. Laura’s sweet nature compliments Maria’s knowledge and skill and they work together the absolute best and cared so much about having such a good relationship with my daughter. Fantastic experience: Attended this morning for a broken tooth/filling replacement. I have long covid which has left me with mobility difficulties and severe breathlessness. All staff, reception, Daniel and the Dental Nurse were amazing. So patient, not making me feel rushed at all and ensuring I was OK throughout. I've been before and had no complaints, but today they went above and beyond.

I am not a fan of visiting the Dentist and would be a nervous patient, however, I knew I was always in good hands with Rebecca and team. Across 4-5 appointments over the last 12 months i received excellent treatment and care. I was really impressed and reassured by Rebecca's professionalism and compassion. Thank you also to Susan for all the scheduling. There were a few times were appointments had to be brought forward or changed and Susan was was always super helpful and efficient. Fantastic experience: This has always been my dentist; Peter Mullan was my dentist growing up and now Rebecca his daughter is mine and my sons dentist. There is always a warm welcome at every visit from the team and the waiting room and clinical rooms are always clean and fresh. Rebecca always puts me at ease and is incredible with the kids. My youngest who is 2.5 jumps into the chair with enthusiasm as does my 5 year old. She takes the time to explain everything to them in a way they understand and to me also. They always leave with a smile on their face (and a sticker!). Super to see! Could not recommend Mullan Gallagher enough!

Fantastic experience: To say that i am of a nervous disposition with regards dental work would be an understatement. Thankfully my fears were unfounded. Chloe the hygienist was fantastic not only in respect of her outstanding work but that she genuinely puts people at ease. The whole process was pain free which is a first for me as i have a terribly low pain threshold. Genuinely i nearly fell asleep at one point during the treatment which i believe speaks volumes in relation to the effort made to ensure patient comfort. May i add that my appointment required extensive work and wasn't just a straightforward clean. No pain during treatment and no pain after treatment plus the confidence boost that comes when you feel good regarding the appearance of your teeth. Chloe's high quality work has dispelled twenty years of fear regarding dental work in just a few appointments which i believe clearly demonstrates her level of skill and expertise alongside her genuine ability to make anxious patients feel at ease.

Negative experience: I paid 300f for two teeth, I only replace the fillings, and the doctor made my teeth bad and now I have a sore tooth, thank you very much for such wonderful dentists in this clinic

Fantastic experience: Outstanding level of Patient Care received on my recent visit to the Mullan Gallagher Dental Practice. My appointment for a Dental Review was at the end of the Surgery on a Friday afternoon. I had experienced a failure of a filling on a front tooth two days before the appointment and was expecting to have to make another appointment for a repair. Siobhan examined the damage and offered to repair the filling there and then, which she did. I feel very grateful to the staff for the treatment I received.
