Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about portway dentist. Every visit is comfortable, professional, and genuinely caring. They take the time to explain everything clearly, make sure I’m at ease, and always go above and beyond to ensure my dental health is in great shape. It’s rare to find a dentist that combines such skill with such kindness — I actually don’t dread going to the dentist anymore! I was with a nhs for years and the care wasn't great. Helen has been amazing since the first time I saw her, any questions I have she always answer's them and makes me feel reassured. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Portway Dental Practice continues to be the best Dental Practice and Hygienist service in Frome, and continues to be supported by the nicest most professional dental nurses Drs Tyler and Summers have literally saved healthy teeth from extraction while improving my gum health 100%. I look forward to visits, having my gums and teeth cleaned, and to check-ups that are thorough and professional. Cannot rate this practice highly enough 10/5 stars!!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Portway Dentist for many years. It is clean and efficient. However I think that charging the customer for every minute they are late is insulting considering the dentist can also (and often is) running late. I am never late for anything, if on the one occasion I am, it will be because of something out of my control and I will be stressed enough about it without getting charged. I think a better system would be to penalise those that are consistently late. I do really like my dentist though Ed is efficient, and calm which is perfect for a dentist.

Being previously fearful of visits to the dentist’s after a few bad experiences. I was put very much at ease by a very friendly, caring and understanding reception from everyone. My new dentist Helen, put me at ease straight away with her caring friendly approach ( unlike my previous experiences elsewhere). I can honestly say after my first check up and first appointment with the hygienist, my confidence has grown . I am starting to feel a lot less anxious in going forward for my next three booked appointments . I can’t thank you all enough

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth, they could not fit me in for a few days, which is fair enough. They said if they had a cancellation they would let me know and they did so I was seen within 3 days of initial phone call and now all done. Wonderful thanks to the team.

Fantastic experience: Portway Dental Practice is by far and away the very best dentist I have had. Having been badly let down by my previous practice my expectations were low when I registered at Portway. I was also very nervous about the state of my oral health given the lack of care I had received. I needn't have worried. Both my hygienist and dentist (and assistants) have been absolutely fantastic both with me and with my girls. They have given great guidance, taken enormous care, and are really obviously passionate about the jobs they do. I now look forward to my visits to the dentist and I take far more pride in looking after my smile than I did before. I am seeing really great results and it is motivating and reassuring.

Positive experience: My dentist Tara is great makes me feel at ease. But dissappointed that we cant book a family of 3 appointment for the same time, and to wait till September , that means we will be getting only one check up a year but paying for 12 months , we have been using this dentist for over 30 years and have never had a problem . Also the plans price is constantly rising .
