Negative experience: Lovely Staff . But the dentist Jane is rude , lacks care and consideration for her patients, felt constantly judged look down on . I had a very traumatic experience during the appointment with her , no compassion shown at all , which left me in tears and terrible toothache. I will go elsewhere and choose a dentist who is kind and compassionate towards their patients. The surgery was constantly interrupted with staff coming in , her conversations were negative and was even trying to tell me how to raise my sons ! No after care . Absolutely terrible experience.

Fantastic experience: I lost my NHS dentist due to not going for almost four years. So I was in search of a dentist. I chose Higher Lane Dental Practice as it is local to me and had very good reviews. I was very nervous. I can honestly say I was absolutely overwhelmed with the service. Jane made me feel very much at ease and did a thorough examination of my mouth gums and teeth. Even scanned my whole teeth and gums which I have never had done previously. I also had xrays too. The following day I was with the hygienist kinga who was amazing. She explained every in detail to me and cleaned and polished my teeth. My teeth have never felt as clean. She then went on to explain exactly how to clean my teeth properly which I was not doing. Also how to clean in-between each tooth properly to get my gums in good order. It is a week today since my first appointment and within days after the first visit my gums have stopped bleeding and the gums feel and look so much better. I am just waiting for my treatment plan now. Thank you, Jane Kinga and all the lovely receptionists and dental assistants who looked after me. Excellent service. I would recommend this dentist. I needed an emergency appointment when one of my crowns broke due to gum disease, and at that time my confidence was very low. Jane was kind, reassuring, and professional, and I immediately felt I was in safe hands. Since then, they have helped restore my gum health, fitted my new crowns perfectly, and continue to provide clear, detailed advice at every visit. Thanks to their care, I feel happier and more confident with my smile than ever before. I highly recommend them for their excellent service and genuine care!

Negative experience: I needed route canals and went to this dentist. At first my experience was lovely however on my second visit the dentist used a tool that burnt my mouth. This is a hot tool they use during the procedure. However I wasn’t told about it. Once it burnt my mouth I flinched as it really hurt, the dentist abruptly told me to stay still and wouldn’t let me explain why I moved. This upset me and made me feel uncomfortable. I had to go for my last session to finish the procedure but won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: The best experience I have ever had from a dental surgery. There is a clear focus on customer service with a very experienced team wanting to do their best for you. Kinga did a wonderful job with my nervous son making sure he felt at ease, even before seeing him she asked what he’s ‘into’ to be able to make him feel comfortable. Can’t say enough nice things about my experience here.

Fantastic experience: After years of poor treatment and advice I'm so glad I came here. In the past 4-5 years aside from regular appointments and retainers, Jane has removed a badly broken tooth for me (I have a bit of a phobia and was terrified about this and she and the team put me totally at ease). She did a filling which looks more like a tooth than my actual teeth! And more recently she did an amazing resurfacing treatment (not sure of the technical name) on my front teeth which had white spots due to fluorosis (think that's what it's called). Fantastic dentist and lovely team!

Fantastic experience: I came to the practice as I wanted my old metal crowns replaced with ceramics and a veneer following breaking two of my teeth in a fall, which made me feel very self-conscious. Jane has done a great job and has really restored my confidence in my smile. The whole team are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Higher Lane to anybody :)

Negative experience: I visited this dentist and she was the most rude person I have ever met. If you want to go to someone who looks down on you and makes you feel awful, go and see her. Otherwise, search elsewhere for a reputable dentist, who is also a decent human being.

Fantastic experience: Been in and out of Dentist’s since I was a nipper and always had the same opinion of them “Butchers who couldn’t care less” However this all changed about 2 years ago when I first visited Jane, wanting to make more of my smile. I initially selected this practice based on their experience with Invisalign and being one of very few to use 3D computer scanning over impressions . 2 years on and my treatment is finished, from start to finish the staff have always been super helpful offering top level service and I couldn’t be happier with my new smile. Jane is a straight talking, no nonsense tooth fairy. With the upmost care and professionalism she’ll tell you how it is, what your doing wrong but more importantly how to fix it. If your thinking of using this practice, stop thinking, pick up the phone and make a booking!

Fantastic experience: After years of having a very poor dental service and advice I am extremely pleased with Jane and all her staff. Her skill and expertise is outstanding, the girls are fantastic and caring. I cannot recommend higher lane enough to anyone looking for a frienday family dentist.
