Negative experience: A terrible experience from start to finish. I was left in the waiting room for 20 minutes after my appointment time, and not once was I offered an apology or any communication that Dawn was running late. If I was running late, I wouldn’t be seen. To book the appointment a holding fee was charged but this was never returned nor was I advised at any stage they would need to refund it manually. Shocking experience with poor customer. Even when calling no apology was offered.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the end results of my Invisalign treatment. The whole team were very welcoming and friendly, which made the process even better. All my concerns were addressed and I began to see results very quickly. I can’t recommend enough, thank you Dentistry On The Square and thank you Daryl.

Fantastic experience: Daryl and Kim are absolutely top class! Always ensures you’re comfortable and relaxed before proceeding, and had a totally pain free experience over the past 2 years with my invisalign. He also managed to do it quicker than the timeline expected! Amy the hygienist is also amazing, and always has a great non judgemental approach to treatment. Would recommend to anyone.

I travelled through from Falkirk after both my brother and sister in law came here for their treatment. Pain free, easy and anxiety/fears always settled. So pleased with the results. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. Had root canal treatment done by Nial. Can honestly say I never felt a thing. He is so nice and talks you through everything. This is the best practice I have ever been to by far.

Positive experience: Dentist and Hygienist were excellent.Only complaint I have is it’s says on their 2nd promise is they are running late a member of staff will update you. I waited 25 minutes then asked had they forgot about me. At the point the dentist arrived. The dentist had passed on info to inform me they were running late but that wasn’t passed on to me .

Negative experience: I wanted to make an appointment to have them look at a crown that had come out. I needed to see if it could be reseated or if an implant would be necessary. In short, they are more than happy to make space for you if you need an expensive implant. If there is a chance that they won't make as much money out of you, then they won't give you the time of day.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I both have had multiple treatments at Dentistry in the Square and the professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. Daryl carried out my treatments and I am so happy with my end result. He made the every appointment easy and not like visiting a dentist at all. My wife had her treatment with Alison who she describes as fantastic. A dream dentist who always puts her patient first. We cannot recommend enough and will be back in the future.

Fantastic experience: As a nervous patient Daryl and Katie made me feel at ease and explained all that would happen within the appointment. I felt at ease the whole way through the treatment. I would highly recommend DOTS.

Negative experience: Initial interview was lovely, couldn't do enough for me. They took some pictures of my teeth, she consulted a dentist and was quoted between 6k and 8k depending on what treatment choices i made Second visit was a bit different, paid £250 to have a dentist "have a look". Spoke to the receptionist who deals with new customers where she handed me a new bill of £16.000 !!! Now 6k to 8k is bad enough for a set of false teeth, no implants but i thought ill take it on the chin, for that to jump to 16k is hilarious and taking the absolute piss. She handed me the new bill and couldn't wait to get us out the door. The reason i chose this dentistry was id had a few bad experiences and thought 8k is worth the "pain free" experience. To jump to 16k is mental. I left feeling really disappointed and angry. Its places like this that make people go abroad and get "turkey teeth". Would i recommend this dentistry to anyone else? Definitely NOT !

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Peter and Heather for the transformation they achieved for me. I am absolutely delighted with the results as my aging smile has gone and good dental hygiene has been made easier due to straight and even spacing between my teeth. All treatments were pain free and time was taken to explore my anxieties consequently I learned to stop associating dental work with pain. So once again thank you Peter and Heather for restoring my confidence as I shall not worry about any future treatments. Fantastic experience: I'm absolutely delighted with my dental journey thus far ,from my consultation I had with Dawn back in January to the dental work byJamie Kerr and Jamie Kinnell. I recently had 2 implants put in by Jamie Kerr, I was very nervous to say the least but Jamie put me at ease and explained everything throughly to me.The procedure was indeed completely pain free and I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep for most of the time I was on the dentist chair and missed the entire film I had on with the goggles I'm thrilled with the progress so far I'm receiving at Dentistry on the Square and looking forward to continuing my treatment with this amazing team. Fantastic experience: Having recently completed an 18 month Invisalign procedure with Dentistry on the Square, including some additional repair work, I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. It’s clear from the initial consultation that you’re in the hands of a professional team, the technologies used in many cases were completely new to me, and highly impressive, living up to the “pain free dentistry” tag line. As someone who was historically uncomfortable at the dentist I have finished my treatment with a renewed outlook, and will remain with the team moving forward for ongoing care.

I always find the team so helpful and everyone makes you feel relaxed and calm before any treatment which I think is great. The dentist's always explain what is going to happen and always speak to you to make sure that you are ok! Lovely premises and lovely calming atmosphere - would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous about my proposed dental work and can say hand on heart that from the very first consultation with Elaine, I felt at total ease. For the implant procedure, my dentist was Jamie Kerr and he took time to talk through everything and explain the procedures. I felt ZERO pain throughout my various visits and due to my seizure condition, the option to have sunglasses etc gave me further reassurance. Jamie and Kirsty continually checked that I was ok before starting any work. Due to the variety of work I was having done, I also dealt with Jamie Kinnell & Nial Balloch and they were equally as attentive and put me at ease at all times. I can hand on heart recommend the genuinely friendly and highly skilled gang at Dentistry On The Square as not only have they restored my self-confidence externally but they have also restored my faith in Dentists!

Negative experience: Disappointed that so called free assessment appointment, that actually cost me £20 was just to meet a salesperson to give me a price list and payment options that were £150 more expensive than my own dentist quote, without any examination, they were then expecting me to pay another £125 to have a real assessment with dentist. Alongside this I would also need to pay for hygienist who I explained I had just seen and had a follow up appointment at my own dentist, but they were adamant I would need to pay for appointment with them also. No thanks dentistry on the square.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist appointment with Amy was, as always excellent. She and her nurse are professional, pleasant and efficient.

Positive experience: I had a tooth extraction with Jamie and I have to admit I felt very at ease even though I really dislike going to dentist. He talked me through what was happening and felt very relaxed.

Fantastic experience: Can’t tell you the last time I smiled so much!! Always aware of my uneven smile - unaware of gum contouring until I met my Dentist Jamie, who specialises in this. Had gum contouring done and all my top crowns redone. I would never have believed this amount of dental work could be pain-free but it 100% was. I even watched movies during my sessions which hugely helped with any anxious feelings. This amazing work has increased my confidence immeasurably and I cannot thank Jamie enough for making this possible. He listened to me and advised me - whilst not judging. I always felt consulted in what I wanted and never rushed. I used to be extremely self-conscious of my teeth and would hide my smile. Now I want to show the world and you can’t put a price on that!!! I would recommend DOTS to everyone - they do a fabulous job and have changed my life. My new bright smile makes me brighter too so thank you guys.

Couldn’t praise him enough ! Gave courtesy calls to make sure I was ok.. Jamie Kinnel did my cosmetic surgery …he also talked me through all procedures.. his attention to detail is something else ! When I looked at my before and after pictures it was quite emotional.. I was so happy with the result ! The result was better than I ever expected!! Jamie is a perfectionist ! Fantastic experience: Daryl was great and gentle and talked me through everything. More relaxed second time and opted not to take any pain relief which worked. DVD goggles and noise cancelling headphones were great.

Fantastic experience: I came to dentistry on the square quite guarded. I’d had a number of really bad experiences with my local Falkirk dentist which sadly left me with 2 of my front teeth rotting/ gradually falling out in my early thirties. I didn’t want to wear a denture at my age. So I was looking for something more permanent. But I’d been told by a number of dentists that implants were not an option for me as my bone density was nil (so there would be nothing for the implant to grab onto). Thankfully I found DOTS - who had a specialist in implants, skilled in something I’d never heard of before - bone grafting. Implants were back ok the table! So, since May 2024 I’ve been receiving treatment from DOTS to replace the 2 failing teeth with implants, and place veneers to another 2 teeth, to balance everything out for a natural smile. Not going to sugar coat it, the bone graft and implant surgery was intense. But the results and follow up care were brilliant. Jamie Kinnell has been especially kind, professional and patient with me. Wanting to get everything perfect and make me feel as comfortable and educated as possible each step of the way. Thank you for giving me my confidence back. And the function of my front teeth! I’ve not been able to bite into an apple for over 5 years. It’s definitely is the little things!

Fantastic experience: Saw Gemma for my hygiene appointment today. Lovely and gentle as always. It’s hard to improve on excellent service. Just keep doing what you are doing at Dentistry on the square.

Negative experience: Avoid this place like the plague. I attended with a cracked root under one of my 2 excellent porcelain crowns. The task was simple, insert an implant and replace the 2 crowns (they use the same crown technician who made my previous excellent crowns) An open goal, and nearly £8000 for DOTS I have now been left with pretty good crowns (took Jamie 4 attempts, unreal considering he had my excellent previous crowns to copy) but the shape and shade nowhere near as natural. Biggest problem is the gaps left between and either side of the crowns. DOTS have washed their hands of the matter leaving me to go down the legal route. Please people, go nowhere near this bunch of charlatans.

Negative experience: They're okay. I personally found them to be over the odds for the price of dental care. Even for a simple check up and clean I was charged almost £200. I was only paying around £80 for the same treatment at my previous dentist. I found most of the staff to be friendly and pleasant. There was one staff member who was a bit rude, though. If you have the cash and are into the Instagramy vibe then these guys are for you. If you're like me and don't care much for the razzle and dazzle then look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Been attending this dentist for almost 10 years now and the staff and dentists are always very friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean and questions are always answered well. Very happy with the services.

Had an implant & a couple of veneers done by jamie kinnell, very nice set up where you don't really feel like your going to the dreaded dentists. All the staff are lovely & even though it's a bit further away than my local dentists I'll be using dentistry on the square from now on. Cheers

Positive experience: Peter did an amazing job. I am incredibly happy with the quality of his work and his bedside manner was wonderful. Brilliant, polite, talented dentist. I dropped a star due to the practice itself being disorganised at times (e.g poor responsiveness by reception). My original dentist, Alison, also failed to set realistic expectations for completion timelines (e.g originally estimated ~6 months however work completed after 1 year and 2 months). In summary, very pleased with final result but the management of how I got here could have been improved.

Fantastic experience: Had an implant done by Jamie for a missing front tooth replacing an old bridge really happy with the final result, he was very clear advising me on each step, he is very welcoming his communication was excellent and reassuring he had answers to all my questions, it was pain-free, would fully recommend him, the technology used was impressive great place.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. I got a dental implant and didn’t experience any pain during the procedures. I had also previously been told by a few other dentists I would never be able to get a dental implant however at dentistry on the square they made that happen and I can finally feel confident in my smile. All the staff are also so lovely and helpful. Couldn’t recommend them enough!!

This young lady combines a reassuringly professional demeanour with consummate technical expertise. Her level of engagement is refreshingly genuine. This is a completely different experience. You receive extremely helpful information over a casual chat, no lectures and no fear, simply kind and caring guidance on preventative measures you can take at home to ensure you don’t have to come back for procedures. I can honestly say that from the first meeting I had , with Elaine, my mind was put at rest. Everyone at the clinic is warm, welcoming and so kind. The reception and support staff are absolutely fantastic, and they deserve recognition in their own right. The treatments I have had have been completely pain free, explained extensively before hand and have had amazing results, above and beyond what I hoped for. I can't recommend Dentistry on the Square enough. Every member of the team is extraordinary and my treatments from Andrew and Amy have been exceptional. As well as restoring my gum health they have restored my confidence and my ability to smile again. 5 stars just doesn't seem enough.

Fantastic experience: Started my treatment plan after my free consultation with Alison who has been amazing at addressing my desires and keeping me comfortable. As part of my treatment I was to have a few hygiene appointments where I was made feel at ease and were completely pain free. Following my dentist having to take early mat leave I was moved over to Andy seamlessly where my treatment was continued after we had a catch up and went over what I was looking to achieve from treatment. Couldn’t recommend the Dentist more as I’m coming to the end of my treatment the results are already amazing!!

The team made me feel listened to from the get go, I am generally quite happy going to the dentist but felt quite nervous on the day due to my old bonding coming off first and spending so long in the chair but Andy made me feel so at ease and reassured - the dvd goggles and back massager definitely helped too! Fantastic experience: I have to say Wow. I had root canal treatment over 35 years ago on my tooth and today I had an appointment with Niall as it was infected, for a further root canal treatment. I have to say I was dreading it. How wrong was I. Niall was lovely calm and explained what he was going to do. Not that I need that bit but I am sure loads do, he was great, very professional. It was painless. I listened to my favourite music and I couldn't believe when Niall said that was him finished. It passed so quickly. What a fantastic experience, how technology moves on. The lady at reception was lovely when I arrived as well. All in all a great experience to a place I don't like, a dentist!

Fantastic experience: From the very first consultation the treatment I received has been exceptional. The practice were so mindful of the fact that I had a big commute from the Isle of Lewis.They were very accommodating with fitting in appointments, meaning fewer trips. Sophie was really helpful with all the advice on how to improve my oral hygiene, resulting in excellent gum health. Andy has been amazing, explaining every step and making a very nervous patient become totally relaxed. I'm delighted with the work he's done so far and can't wait to see the final results. I would highly recommend Dentistry on the Square.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend the Team highly enough, I lost a front tooth, after some consultation on the best route it was decided to put an implant in. I was very worried that the implant would look out of place as it was at the front, however it is so good you cannot tell which one of my front teeth is the implant. Also have been carrying infection in another tooth for many years, again Dareen, Jamie and Jamie have dealt with this brilliantly for me and I no longer have pain and a lovely new implant. The appointments are made in good times, the staff are all very friendly and best of all the treatment is pain free. Excellent service all round

Fantastic experience: Had my invisalign treatment done by Andy and some extras but decided to get composite done on one tooth today, so so happy with it and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Wasn’t made to feel that I had to get loads of treatments done and spend extra money, everything was explained thoroughly and all treatments were pain free :)

Fantastic experience: Firstly I find Dentistry on the Square very professional, experienced and friendly. I make a 30 mile round trip for each appointment and always leave satisfied with their service. I would definitely recommend that you try this practice to see for yourselfs.

From my initial appointment to look at what was required, to having the actual treatment carried out, I was made to feel at ease and everything was explained brilliantly by Niall. Fantastic experience: Not sure how it’s possible that after a history of negative experiences at the dentist I now actually look forward to appointments, but somehow DOTS has made it happen. Everyone in the practice has been so welcoming - Dawn was a pro in putting me at ease in the initial consultation and hygiene appts with Amy are relaxing more than anything. Fantastic experience: I decided to visit Dentistry on the Square after receiving chemotherapy treatment which resulted in damage to my teeth. I was nervous as people often treat me different once I’ve told them I had chemotherapy, but Daryl never did this. He was kind and sympathetic but didn’t treat me like he felt sorry for me. Daryl is a lovely person and a wonderful dentist. He made me feel at ease straight away! He is so knowledgeable and could always answer my questions. I am absolutely delighted with my teeth now. From the very beginning everyone in the practice was very helpful. I started Invisalign treatment then composite bonding.
