Fantastic experience: I am an extremely anxious person and just like anyone the dentist frightens the life out of me. Karissa accompanied by a lovely man did an emergency tooth extraction. I was an absolute mess and they did everything to make me feel safe and comfortable. I’ve never felt more looked after in such a vulnerable position in my life. They have done a fantastic job and I trust Karissa 100% and cannot recommend her enough

Negative experience: Not happy at all. The dentist always in rush. Don’t want to share advice. They never greet with patients. Asking money in advance without treatment. Always keep changing appointments. I think they have got short of dentist. Don’t recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: I have had an awesome experience with the staff that I have encountered so far. Recently, I had cosmetic procedures done on my teeth and Mr. Jas (the dentist) was extremely good. I'm also appreciative of his co worker (Sollie) and I can't thank both enough. Well-done from a satisfied patient.

Fantastic experience: I had my front tooth taken out 3 days ago. My dentist is absolutely lovely. I walked in expecting nothing but a conversation and a check up as I had a tooth infection starting in my front tooth. We had a conversation and she said it was best to have the tooth out as there was to much damage , she reassured me that everything would be okay , I was full of anxiety and have a ongoing fear of dentist and she understood this. I agreed to proceed with the tooth being taken out , I had numbing cream , followed by 3 numbing injection and with a little digging out popped the tooth. She reassured me during the whole process aswell as her assistant. They both understood my fear and guided me through it , explained everything as she was doing it and for that I am thankful! We're due another appointment for a couple fillings and I can happily say that yes I still have my fear but I know I can walk in to that appointment knowing I'm safe and understood.

Fantastic experience: My extra special thanks must go to Parmjeet and Dawn they went above and beyond. Their exceptional care and compassion was fantastic..My special needs daughter had her wisdom tooth removed and they made the whole experience so easy and fun!

Positive experience: Takes a while from start to finish being an NHS dentist but that is expected at the moment! Once actually there having procedures, everyone from start to finish is great, friendly, professional and just do a really good job! I'm incredibly happy with my most recent couple of visits.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Inspire Dental Southend today, private car park attached made it very easy in a busy part of Southend. Inside was really nice, very modern and clean. I had the guided biofilm therapy with Cathy Connolly and it was great from start to finish, Cathy explained everything really well and I learnt a lot about how as an athlete we are more susceptible to dental issues. She then carried out the treatment and checked in throughout to make sure everything was ok. My teeth now feel cleaner than ever, I will be going back for a check up for sure. Would highly recommend! I was in excruciating pain from tooth decay, but their care, professionalism, and reassuring presence made all the difference. Fantastic experience: I had my appointment with Cathy yesterday and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, she made sure I felt comfortable and explained exactly what the treatment involved. The deep clean was incredibly thorough but still gentle, and I could feel a positive difference straight away. What stood out most was how Cathy took the time to talk to me about dental care as an athlete, especially as someone who plays ice hockey. She gave me helpful advice about how to protect my teeth during games and training, including product suggestions to keep everything in top condition. It’s clear she really understands the risks we face in contact sports and tailored her advice to suit that. You can tell she really cares about what she does and wants the best for her patients.

Negative experience: Paid for a few hygienists appointment - depends on the staff member you get. The last dentist I saw gave me a very rushed 10 minutes and claimed I need to have four teeth take out with nothing wrong with them except needing a hygienist to see to them. Wrote to surgery but still no answer after waiting many months. Will be looking for a new dentist now as I still haven’t been seen to.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Cathy today for guided biofilm therapy, for my first experience she made sure I was comfortable and regularly checked I was okay. Cathy gave me good advice on how to keep my teeth healthy whilst playing sport and my teeth now feel great

Negative experience: If you can get anyone to answer the phone or ring you back after leaving a message you will then have access to the amazing dentists and service their staff offer. The phone and reception system is totally inefficient and inadequate for a practice of this size.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an appointment with the hygienist Tiffany and I have to say she was brilliant. I am normally very nervous and my experiences of having my teeth cleaned in the past have not been pleasant so I was dreading it. Tiffany put me at ease immediately I walked in the door and she was very gentle throughout. I was in the chair for half an hour and will definately look forward to going back next time. She is also very thorough.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient I was super impressed with the dentist we saw. I made them aware of my daughter's Autism and ADHD. The lady dentist was amazing, taking time out to explain everything and showing my daughter what instruments she was using, the noises they made, how they would feel (cold water, suction etc) making sure my daughter was comfortable and knew exactly what to expect and that if she was worried at all she would stop. My daughter was totally comfortable and felt calm and relaxed. Super impressed with the understanding shown for my daughters sensory needs. 100% recommend. Also , all the other staff I encountered were really friendly and professional.

Positive experience: Very difficult to book an appointment. The online service doesn't work and the phone service never answers. The only option seems to be to get them to call you back which isn't always convenient. However, once you manage to get an appointment, everything else is excellent.

Fantastic experience: I visited inspire dental Southend during the week and had a really great experience, I had guided biofilm therapy with Cathy. She made sure I was comfortable with what was going to happen and checked regularly that I was okay throughout. I’m happy with the results and appreciated that Cathy gave me lots of advice about how to keep my teeth healthy whilst playing sport and also recommendations on toothpastes and toothbrushes.

Fantastic experience: I used to be absolutely terrified of going to the dentist, I’d make my husband come with me, that’s completely changed now. I’ve had and still have treatments here, and thanks to my amazing dentist (Rohan) and hygienist (Tiffany), I actually feel comfortable going. They’re so gentle, calm, and take the time to explain everything, which really puts me at ease. The receptionists are just as lovely, always friendly and welcoming, which makes such a difference when you’re nervous. I go on my own now, and honestly never thought I’d be able to say that.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I had an appointment to fix a broken tooth. When I arrived the receptionist asked my details and I was told to sit in the waiting area. The room was large, bright, clean and tidy with plenty of seats. When my turn came, I was shown into a small room by the assistant and met my dentist. This room was also clean and tidy. Both the dentist and assistant were lovely, pleasant to talk to, would answer any questions I had and put me at complete ease. During each part of the work, the Dentist would explain what she was doing and both would ask occasionally if I was OK and comfortable which made me feel relaxed and safe. When the work was completed I was asked if it was OK and the Dentist went through what she had done, what happens next and if I had any further questions. I then left and booked my next appointment. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and my Dentist Hafsa Kaleem and her assistant were both exceptional. Thank you all at Inspire Dental Southend from an extremely satisfied customer!

Negative experience: Once again a ten minute wait with nobody answering the phone. I needed to rebook an appointment that you cancelled!!. The phone situation is ridiculous as the last three times I have needed you I have had to come in to contact you. Please sort this out, I havent got the time to keep coming to your premises.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with hafsa kaleem as I am very nervous patient. The lady was amazing and her assistant calmed me right down felt at ease would fully recommend very professional. Would not see any other dentist.

Negative experience: I paid an hygienist to clean my teeth, she only cleaned half of them saying that she needed to consult my dentist. Paid 70 pounds for nothing. My little one had an appointment and the dentist put some type of gel in her mouth without telling me what was it or ask permission...they also ask us to come back every 3 months when is usually 6 months, something is wrong here!!

Then to another one who said she was already with them. Angelous is amazing!!! New dentist nice too he has a screen with fish on it. Receptionists all polite and really what a wonderful place. Could not find a better dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had guided biofilm therapy with Cathy today. Cathy's an amazing hygienist and the techniques used are so gentle and effective, my teeth always feel and look great afterwards. Fantastic experience: I visit the hygienist here four times a year and Tiffany consistently delivers the best clean I’ve ever had. She is excellent - thorough, professional, and highly skilled. I also had Invisalign and other treatments with Jaz, who was equally fantastic - knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile. I can’t recommend them both enough!

Fantastic experience: I have been advised fr my dentist to get dental hygienist appointment, i have to be honest, i have put it off as financial £75 per section is expensive & as I have asthma i wasn’t sure how the dental hygienist and session will go? I was advised by the receptionist to go for Tiffany Grace Laybourne as she gets her d. hygiene fr her. Wow I cannot address how grateful i was to Tiffany G Laybourne professionalism, politeness , patience as i did mention that it was my 1st time and that i have Asthma and that if i need to ✋ as not sure if the hygiene would effect my asthma. She was so patient and made my 1st experience comfortable and her patience ,understanding reassured me and with the help of the nurse to assist … helped! It is now my 2nd dental hygienist appointment within a month and I would say it mayb expensive per session, but it is worth it especially with reassurance of further service and I thought i was cleaning my teeth properly… oops ,but with the visual advice and oral b electric brush and right flossing purchase advice is helpful. thx u so so much Tiffany and nurse for excellent service, look forward to nxt appointment. tc

Fantastic experience: I left my old dental practice due to them making my teeth break and fall out after root canal although I told them my teeth were beyond repair. So I joined Inspire my new dentist Emre was so kind and understanding and spent alot of time doing work to my teeth so I could get dentures. All of his work was top quality and cant thank him enough. The practice itself is nice clean and modern with many other dentists there . Highly recommend. Thank you Emre for my new teeth I appreciate all the work you've done

Negative experience: Brilliant dentist, they treat you in such a lovely friendly way. However, the reason for the two stars is their phone is never, ever, ever answered and automatically cuts you off after a certain wait time. It's so frustrating, and frankly borders on disgraceful. Sort out the phone nonsense and it would be 5 stars without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: Great service here, my appointment was on time and I was in and out within 15 minutes. No pressure to have additional add on treatment. Nice clean and tidy surgery. My only comment would be to please put signs directing people to the exit / which doors to use, as it’s a bit of a maze from the 1st floor!

Positive experience: I attended the Dental Surgery on time. I booked in at Reception and this was fine. I had made this appointment following the receipt of an e mail from the Dental Surgery suggesting I needed a Hygenist Check. I paid via my debit card and assumed I had booked a Hygenist visit. I had not checked my bank account but thought I had paid £65 for the Hygenist. It transpired that I had only paid £23.80p for a dental check up so I have now paid the additional £65 for a Hygenist visit in September. This is not a problem but in futureI must remember to check my payment and who I am visiting. Anyhow, Raj was fine and gave me a prescription for toothpaste to help with a sensitive gum. Happy with my visit and now looking forward to my next Hygenist check. Thanks for you. -------------------++-++++++-------------------- My most recent visit with Raj was for a check up. Arrived 5 mins early for my appointment and I was called 5 mins after arrival. Bang on time.- Routine check up and some smoothing down and filling to a front tooth. All good and completed in less than 15 mins. Looking forward to my next visit with my Hygienist.

Negative experience: Don't want to leave a review just yet. Had filling replaced yesterday. Today it's gone again. Need another appointment but don't feel i should pay another £75. Was not warned it might not stay. Was offered extraction at £300 so naturally went for replacement filling option

Negative experience: Was sent an email to leave a review after my most recent appointment. This is only a review for the hygienist I had, not the dentists or receptionists. My most recent appointment was with a hygienist, I won’t mention her name as I don’t want to cause issues but it’s my honest review. I’ve had her twice now. The first time she cleaned my teeth but left some build up on the back of my teeth and between my two front bottom teeth, I didn’t make a big deal about it because there was quite a bit of build up so it was forgiving. I went back for my next cleaning yesterday, i had mentioned how last time the hygienist missed a dark mark on the back of my bottom front tooth but wasn’t sure if it was her, she said “that was me.” She scraped it off and said “it’s on a curve” ??? I’m paying money to have my teeth cleaned so I don’t understand why that would excuse not cleaning it before. At the end of my cleaning I noticed there was a white line between my two front teeth, I’m an anxious person so I don’t like to ask questions but I had asked her why the white was there. I was thinking it could obviously be from the powder that was put on my teeth, or just the cleaning in general. It was a harmless question. She said “I can’t see anything..” so I kept pointing at it and asked why it was white and she said “your teeth are definitely not white.” Quite rude, true but rude, there was no need for that at all. Then after that she says that my teeth are just patchy cos that’s how they are, she could have said this at the beginning and I’d have said okay. She then continued to tell me how I should get another hygienist in future, saying maybe they do something different she doesn’t. I told her I didn’t mean anything bad by it and I was just curious why it was white when it wasn’t before, I wasn’t trying to argue with her. Continued to tell me I should see a different hygenist next time. Left the appointment anxious, overthinking and still having build up between my bottom front teeth, a brown dot on one of my molars which she didn’t scrape off and just overall not a good experience. I pay £73 for a 30 minute window, has me waiting an extra 30 minutes for my appointment and i barely get my teeth cleaned for more than 5-10 minutes when there are areas she has missed. If you cannot take criticism (barely criticism, just a question and a fact.) then why are you in this job?

Fantastic experience: Emergency appointment needed and was given an appointment on the same day. Staff are polite and welcoming.

Positive experience: Up until yesterday I'd have said that Inspire Dental were amazing, but sadly yesterday's appointment and a comment by my special needs sons dentist has left a sour taste and I'm disappointed with the level of care provided.

Negative experience: Really upset with this dentist, called very upset because of severe pain with my wisdom tooth, got next day appointment and the dentist cleaned the gum and told me to use mouth wash and salt water and come back in 2 weeks for a check up. Pain was still very bad, saw a different dentist who said I have a severe infection, need anti biotics and tooth removal which is something I asked the dentist at this place originally who told me it isn’t infected or needs removing. So I’ve been left in pain for no reason when he could’ve given me anti biotics. If I had left the tooth and done as he said and just use mouth wash I could’ve gotten sepsis.

Negative experience: The 1 star is for the initial phone call with a lovely receptionist whom I didn't get the name of. My husband has a phobia of the dentist and multiple family members suggested this dental practise as they've had good experiences. I rang to book him in as a new patient, I was offered a same day evening appointment so I took it and the receptionist said if it needed to be cancelled not to worry it would be absolutely fine. My husband came home from work unwell, so obviously I rang up before the appointment time to cancel. Automated machine said to leave a message to cancel and they'd call back to rearrange, so I left a message. 4 days later he receives a letter saying he's been kicked off the patient list because he missed his first appointment and there are others on a waiting list. I rang up leaving a 2nd voicemail recapping the situation, that we were both ill which you could hear in my voice, and to ring me back to sort this out. I rang again the next day, tried multiple times with no answer so I left a 3rd unhappy voicemail saying this is not on and to *ring me back*. Guess what, they ignored that too. Why would the lovely receptionist who was very understanding tell me it's completely ok to cancel...when it's clearly not because they didn't even listen to the voicemail cancelling said appointment and immediately kicked him off, ignoring every phone call /voicemail there after!! Not at all impressed.

Fantastic experience: I have a big phobia of needles but I was made to feel at ease straight away. Everything was explained to me re: treatment plans but I was given the choice to choose what was best for myself. In 2 weeks, I had 3 teeth extracted as they all cracked. Thank you to Maryann and the kind reception staff who made this ordeal so much calmer for me.

Fantastic experience: As someone who doesn't like visiting the dentist, my dentist (Grace) and assistant (Julie) made me feel really comfortable and reassured. They were very friendly and really showed a great level of care. Highly recommend this dental practice :)

Fantastic experience: I would like to share my deepest gratitude to Jhayne one of the receptionist. She has a heart for the patients, when I walked in without appointment as I am in so much pain already. The other lady said directly that "we are understaff" whilst she asked me with a concerned tone if I am in pain. She made sure I got an appointment within the day. Thank you so much and please keep that kind heart of yours, you will help a lot of people. Thank you also to the Dr. and assistant who did my operation today I didn't get their name but they were kind.

Positive experience: Paid £75 for a hygienist to clean my teeth. No one mentioned that was you only given a 30 minute slot including consultation and if not completed they make you re-book and pay again. Was only able to get my bottom set done and I’m disappointed as I believed I was paying for all my teeth to be cleaned.

Fantastic experience: For the very first time on 28 May 2024 I had a dental appointment at Inspire Dental Southend. The dentist was marvellous, the clinic was very well organised and spotlessly clean. I thoroughly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I’m severely needle phobic and the dentist here was superb in putting me at ease and explaining everything that was happening, also I’ve been referred to somewhere that will carry out work with gas sedation. Joining this dentist is the best decision I’ve made in a long time!

Fantastic experience: For many many years I had a huge fear of dentist, the smells, the clinical surrounding and having dentist not listen to me in the past. How that all changed. At Inspire you're greeted by friendly reception staff who are very helpful. The waiting groom is modern as is everything else there. This helped me be as nervous as I was. I struggled for so long with injections not working on me and some horrible experiences but that has now been erased. A massive thank you to Dan (Muhammad). A true gentleman and top professional in his field. He was attentive and calming and stayed with me throughout all the work that had to be done. I will never change my dentist. It's so nice to be able to smile with confidence and if it wasn't for Dan and the kind dental nurses I would never have got to where I am. It's changed my life more than you could know. Fantastic experience: My self and my wife went to Inspire Dental Westcliff on Sea yesterday. We both had appointments to see the Hygienist and also the Dentist. We went to the reception desk and were greeted by a lovely friendly lady who directed us to the waiting area. The surgery is in a modern new building with nice clean waiting areas and also nice clean toilets which are first class. We first saw the Hygienist who was very friendly and professional and gave us great advice on brushing and oral hygiene. We then saw the Dentist who is very friendly and puts you at ease and again will answer any questions you ask and give you good advice. We highly recommend Inspire Dental Westcliff on Sea as a great Dentist which cares for its patients.

Positive experience: It took me a week to get anyone one the phone but once I got through the service was fast and efficient. I was seen on time, the dental staff were very professional and the dentist was excellent, repairing my tooth rather that other options. And it didn’t break the bank . .

Fantastic experience: I’ve had very positive experiences at Inspire Dental. Karissa is an efficient and professional dentist, and helped my toddler feel at ease during her first dental appointment. I’ve also seen Tiffany the hygienist at Inspire, who was also excellent. She’s super friendly and took the time to answer my questions at the end of the appointment which I really appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Tiffany Laybourne, a hygienist at the practise. She was incredibly thorough, very professional, and very friendly. I felt completely at ease, which I don't always at the dentist. She talked me through everything she was doing and also gave me lots of tips and advice to go home with. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Hygienist was over ten minutes late, rushed my appointment and didn’t discuss any oral hygiene with me. I felt inconvenient to her. Which was not the service I’d expect for the money I paid.

Fantastic experience: Recently signed all three of my children with this dentist practice and I just can not fault inspire dental. They were super friendly and made my children feel at ease. My oldest needed a filling and they were able to do it straight away, they explained ever aspect of the filling in simple terms to calm her nerves. I would recommend this dentist to anyone.

They are always so friendly and ensure I am always as comfortable as I can be during treatment. Reception is always a breeze at check in and appointment making easy. Thank you to you all.

Negative experience: Ryan who was seeing me as an nhs patient refused to do a bridge on nhs banding as he could make more money doing it privately. Denture not optional due to teeth movement and tooth in smile line. No patient care all about money unfortunately. Nhs dentist are a last resort but be aware they will do worse and easier treatments to make more money like extractions etc. Avoid.

Negative experience: I had a filling carried out by Inspire yesterday, and although the process was quick (15mins) the price I was asked to pay at the end was higher than I was quoted the week before. The filling is also very rough to touch at the moment, however this may be normal as I have not had a filling before.

Fantastic experience: Recently I have seen my hygienist and dentist who are absolutely the best. I am usually nervous every time I attend any dentist appointments. They made me feel comfortable and at ease. Very easy to talk to and explain the procedure very thoroughly, reassured me at every step. Love the work and booked more sessions as soon as I walked out the treatment room. Every single person starting from reception to dentists are professional and welcoming. I recommend this place . 100%

Negative experience: They always end up cancelling my appointments at the last minute, no matter when I book. Really annoyed with this. I was at work and could not take the call. Just read a text message right now saying they had to cancel the appointment that was on monday 28th which was booked 3 months ago as my daughter needs braces and it was for a referral appointment. Calling on a Friday afternoon to cancel Monday’s appointment is highly unprofessional!!! Manage your system better please. Your patients should matter to you.

Fantastic experience: Having been with Inspire for the last year and seeing Emre, I went in a complete nervous Wreck my first visit but after several visits I can honestly say I now I go in relaxed and knowing I am in safe hands and he understands my fear. A wonderful dentist and also the reception staff are kind and courteous I totally recommend them and all this after fillings, root canal treatment and extraction so now on 6 monthly check ups and I now have my smile back

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment but do to unforeseen circumstances they had to move my appointment to mid day from first thing. I later that morning had a text message saying I could come in now. It all well very smoothly and everyone was very helpful. I had a crown fitted.

Fantastic experience: Been referred to Inspire Dental Southend as my new practice and I’m so happy that I’ve found a Dentist who is as kind and patient as Grace. I’m a very nervous patient and have a fear of going to the Dentist, Grace was so understanding and spoke to me throughout my treatment of what was happening and even let me listen to my music to help calm me. Her assistant (didn’t get his name) was also so lovely and welcoming! The practice itself is very clean and bright, and all staff very helpful!

Negative experience: I was really unimpressed by this surgery and not even had my first appointment booked, being a nervous person with dentists as it is. First impression when I came in there was a nice welcome spoken to two nice receptionists, first time was to find out how to become a patient and when I walked out I realised I had another question so went back and that question was answered in relation to about any payments and was told there were options. At this point no mention about first appointment I would need to pay for anything after I have had the appointment, bear in mind I haven't seen a dentist in a very long time. Once I got home I had sent an email detailing everything on there including personal information and few hours later got an email saying about making an appointment. This is where I have become very upset at this point after the phone call. I was told I had to pay after I have had the appointment on nhs and was told that private dentist is basically what this lady on the phone was trying to say in so many words is that it's a ball ache, I had explained that I won't have help with any cost of the dental treatment as not qualified and would need to look at plans, told that my first appointment would be x amount, I had to make the decision not to go ahead with it as unsure if I would of been able to afford the cost.

Fantastic experience: I visited Inspire dental after not going for a few years , appointment was on time and the dentist was Santiago very good explained everything and was gentle , can highly recommend this dental practice, nice atmosphere and everyone friendly and helpfull

Fantastic experience: I have always had a phobia of dentists, needles too. Parm the dentist and Dawn her assistant were wonderful. Having 5 teeth out was a great concern but they were patient with me and kindly explained each step making me feel confident. They did have to keep telling me to breathe lol but I would never go anywhere else. The reception staff are great, friendly and helpful. A 5 star experience.

Fantastic experience: Nice welcome at check in desk. Brief waiting time and we all were seen at once by the friendly dental nurse and the dentist. Well informed at where we are all at teeth wise. All in all a good experience.
