Fantastic experience: Visited the Alchemy dental practice on Monday 14th April 2025 as an emergency patient. On arrival I was welcomed warmly, my appointment was on time, the treatment received was excellent. Dr Ben Russell carried out my procedure and I can only say his work was first class, from making me feel at ease to the extraction that was required. Aftercare information was provided along with contact information if needed. I have now requested to join this dental practice, something I haven’t done for too many years to mention.

Fantastic experience: A few months ago I had terrible toothache as an upper back tooth had broken in half. I was expecting to have the tooth removed but the doctor explained a new method of repair and within a few days of the quick & pain free procedure it was fine. In my checkup today everything is still fine. I used to be terrified but this whole team put me at ease with their professional first class service.

Inspired confidence and was very knowledgeable throughout which is what you would expect from an exceptionally skilled dentist . Highly recommend this practice and am delighted with the implant and veneer work that I have had done .

Positive experience: Generally you don’t wait too long. Surgery is clean and modern. Occasionally receive cancellations but not frequent.

Fantastic experience: I was a Emergency patient with gum disease and rotting teeth but into a apple and it damaged a tooth which needed removing so never visited the practice before and they very polite and professional, spoke to me during the procedure kept me carm and extracted my tooth ,soon as it was removed the pain I felt in all the teeth was gone ,my mouth is little saw from injection but nothing salt water can’t handle ,definitely a good dentist to be with and dentist are like gold dust in uk so remember that when you don’t show up for appointments you could loose your place at one like I did

His advice is always welcomed and informative. As much as I hate going to the dentist (like most people) he does make me feel relaxed and calm. No complaints at all since changed dentist to Dr Dzyuba.

Positive experience: Alchemy was recommended by a friend a number of years ago following a bad experience at another practice. The receptionist are always pleasant and the dentists too. The dentists and hygienists easily explain any issues may have. The waiting room is always tidy and clean

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with the service I get from Alchemy Dental practice, I can always get seen when I am in pain with my teeth. My dentist Ben is excellent, the best dental practice I have ever used.

Positive experience: Bit nervous about going to the dentist, but the receptionist are great in reassuring you, I mostly speak to Lauren, very welcoming with great customer service. My dentist is great, always sees things through and listens to any concerns or problems I have.

Negative experience: I had a root canal treatment at Dental Alchemy. During my first visit, I asked about the costs of the treatment. The response I received was that I could either choose to see a specialist, which would cost around £900 plus the crown, or I could have the treatment done with the doctor I was seeing, and the cost would be £495 plus the crown. I then asked how much the crown would cost, and I was told that the root canal treatment would be £495, plus £260 for the crown. I agreed, calculating the total costs. The root canal treatment was done on January 20th. I spent 3 hours in the chair, which seemed unusual, as it was a long procedure, but not that long. During the procedure, I had 3 X-rays done, but unfortunately, none of them were taken at the very beginning of the visit. After the treatment, I scheduled the next appointment for the crown fitting. Today, when I arrived, I sat down in the chair and explained how the tooth had felt over the last month. The doctor asked if I had been informed by the reception about the cost of the crown fitting. I said no, but that during my first visit, I had been told that if I agreed to have the treatment with this doctor (Dr. Khaled), the cost would be £495 for the root canal plus £260 for the crown. I was very surprised when Dr. Khaled said there must have been a misunderstanding, and she would never have quoted £260 for the crown. Unfortunately, the doctor misled me during the initial consultation by providing incorrect pricing information. I strongly do not recommend this clinic. I argued that this was not the price I was told initially, but Dr. Khaled insisted that there must have been a misunderstanding, perhaps due to the fact that she was wearing a mask. However, this was no misunderstanding—it was a case of being misled and provided with wrong information. I would not recommend this dental clinic at all. Please avoid if you dont want to surprised.

Negative experience: I do not recommend it. The worst dental clinic I have ever dealt with. Disorganized receptionists and a very rude manager.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely no complaints. Dr Pang was professional, friendly and helpful. Look forward to seeing him again in July.

Negative experience: Absoultely disgusting service have a fear of dentists and stuff in my mouth but had to let them look he starts poking my absess with a needle like it doesnt already hurt enough. Then when i refused to be butchered by him he basicly said i will die if i dont get it done now, in another words he seen the money signs and trying to palm of as much work as he could not actually help with my problem a swollen face with antibiotics which i was told by nhs i was paying £26 for my treatment which i didnt recieve not for the appointment so thanks

Negative experience: Worst treatment I have seen by Dentist. Instead of looking at correct teeth where the pain is, he was pinching at all the teeth with force. With that force the same teeth broke again in front of him and he don’t want see the broken teeth saying I just removed your stucked food. Within a minute he concluded you need a painkiller and antibiotic. Asked to brush your teeth very hard, sometimes the blood will come out. Not recommended to those who really having real issues.

Fantastic experience: Dentists have always been a scary place for me since I was very young and saw the school dentist who were horrible and should never have been allowed to work with children. When my previous dentist went private, and it took me ages to feel comfortable with him, I registered at Alchemy and have always seen Lucy. At my first appointment I told her of my fear of dentists and she immediately put me at ease. I have never felt uncomfortable or frightened with her, she always explains everything as she goes along. Would highly recommend Lucy and Alchemy though dont want too many people knowing or I will never get in to see her Update, Lucy has now left the practise and my fear of the dentist returned However I have just had a check up and a tooth extraction with a new dentist Dr McNeil and she is amazing. Totally understood my fear of the dentist and put me at ease immediately Just hope she stays as I really need consistency with a dentist

Fantastic experience: Keve and Ellie are a true credit to the team! Unfortunately, I don’t have a regular dental practice and had to make an emergency appointment today due to severe toothache. In the past, emergency appointments have often resulted in an instant decision to extract the tooth, with no consideration given to trying to save it. However, Keve and Ellie took the time to get me out of pain and even managed to save my tooth, for which I am extremely grateful. This is an excellent dental practice, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I hope to be accepted as an NHS patient as soon as they have availability

Great from start finish I didn’t think it was possible to have a laugh and feel so at ease at the dentist whilst having treatment. It was comfortable the whole way through as well . Fantastic experience: Dr Dhokiya has been fantastic in creating a treatment plan for me, and for quickly and efficiently removing the pain I was experiencing. Her calm approach and simple explanations makes the whole experience much more enjoyable. The practice as a whole is very clean, efficient and friendly. I would 100% recommend to anybody looking for a great dentist.

Negative experience: Called 4 Days ago to make an appointment and was told I hadn’t been to the practice for 4 years and as a result taken off there Register and would no longer be able to receive treatment. Two of those years was the pandemic so could not attend . An excuse to remove me . Not happy.

Fantastic experience: I used to be at this dentist but I wasn't seen for a while but luckily they are willing to see me again. This is the best dentist I've ever been to. I have unpredictable epilepsy and last time I went I had numerous seizures, but they were very kind to me. I'm now in a lot of pain and need extraction but as I suffer from epilepsy I can't be seen unless I'm sedated. Luckily the receptionist phoned me today and said they'd book me in to be seen as earliest as they can . I can't wait to have this tooth removed and because the doctor has referred me to the hospital to be sedated so I can have this tooth removed and finally coz my doctor has recommended implants as I'm unable to have dentures and alchemy have agreed to see me and sort the referral out for implants on the NHS under my health condition. So hopefully thanks to Alchemy I will soon b this year sometime I'll have all my teeth back and will be pain free. I would always recommend alchemy over any other dentists so thank you so much for understanding and accepting to help me again. I just hope after all my treatments are done that I can b offered another place at your practice so I can keep up to date with all my appointments, with my new set of teeth so thank you Alchemy

Fantastic experience: I haven't been to the dentist in so long, so I was a bit afraid of going. Dr. Pang was so sweet and kind, my fears just melted away. His amazing work has made my teeth feel brand new, I've been smiling all day! The nurses and the receptionists were helpful and nice, making me feel at home while I was at the practice. I highly recommend!

Negative experience: Filling in tooth lasted 3 hours before it cracked and fell out. Only positive was I got an appointment the following day to have it refilled. Let's see how long it lasts this time

Negative experience: I rang alchemy for an appointment only to be told we were no longer registered with them. Very good of them to let us know. Yet before lockdown we were having regular check ups/treatment, and we went after lockdown just as things were getting back to normal. But tried for an appointment and found they had deregistered us.

Fantastic experience: Rang for an emergency appointment and was given one for same day thankfully, I saw Charlotte & Stacey (I think) and both were really brilliant, taking care to explain options & did initial treatments to alleviate pain & gave course antibiotics etc, appointment wasn’t rushed & I felt relaxed so a good experience despite the terrible tooth ache !

Not had any contact from them since before lockdown and today I call them as my wife needs to be seen and I get informed that we are no longer registered nor are they taking anymore registrations. Why could you not send us a letter to let us know about this? Absolutely disgusted with the lack of communication with them, at least they gave me a emergency number to call so i'm thankfull for that at least.
