Negative experience: The reception treat customers differently depending on wether they are private or nhs. The dentist himself was extremely rude and clueless, shrugging his shoulders at a question I asked. Avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: Attended Dr Shah's dental clinic yesterday for an extraction that I've been dreading for weeks. Without a doubt Dr Shah is the best dentist I have ever been to in my 74 years. Highly recommended, wonderful and totally trustworthy. Thanks Dr Shah, 6 stars.

Negative experience: I'm very disappointed with how the reception team handled my appointment reschedule. I woke up sick on the morning of my hygienist appointment and had to reschedule to avoid spreading illness. It's impossible to know 24 hours in advance that you'll be sick, but despite this, the receptionist informed me I would lose the full fee for that appointment because I didn't give 24 hours' notice. They didn't even try to offer me another option or solution. I even offered a doctor's note, but they refused to consider it and charged me again for the hygienist service. I believe situations like this should be handled with more empathy, especially when an illness is sudden.

Negative experience: I was sent here last weekend through 111 for an emergency appointment. The dentist was condescending, and dismissive of my questions. I was trying to point out where the pain was located and to show her a couple of abces that I noticed, she wasn't interested to check, she was just rushing me out even though the practice was empty, no customers waiting that day. I heard her laughing with her assistant as soon as I shut the door behind me. Extremely unprofessional, money greed driven practice.

Negative experience: Worst dental, I have ever been trying to finish things as quickly as possible so they can see more client .didn’t even listen to me so I can explain the situation fully so disappointed

Dr Meera Ramsaroop and all the team are the very best at what they do. Their care, skill and pain management are second to none. Fantastic experience: Recently had an appointment for a filling with Nikita. She was great, put me at ease, talked me through the process which wasn't straight forward due to problems with my gums and teeth. No pain and no problems.

Negative experience: This is the worst experience I had with a dental clinic. I have never put a 1 star on any review before. Staffs are generally nice, however, as many said in the review, they never care about NHS patients. They only care about private patients. I had been referred to the clinic by NHS 111, I have been trying to be in contact with the clinic for two weeks to obtain a referral letter from the doctor to an NHS oral surgeon, after more than three emails two phone calls and seven business days, I still have not received the referral letter and a reply. I relied on it to get emergency treatment, I reiterated every single time I have been in severe pain in our communications, however, the referral letter and feedback has not come through, this has been neglected entirely. It makes normal sense for a commercial body to be profit maximizing, however, it is never tolerable to neglect the urgency of medical support for people in need. If you have a choice to go for another private clinic, please consider to do so, please do not reward a clinic that does not care about patients in urgent need.

Fantastic experience: Had an excellent experience so far with Dr Punit Shah. He is friendly, professional and explains his approach and recommendations clearly. I was able to get quick appointments and support when experiencing pain which ultimately resulted in me needing root canal. The root canal was done at the sister-practice Dazzle and all went smoothly. I appreciate the care and approach which has also saved me money avoiding treatments I expect other dentists would have pushed. Can highly recommend.

Negative experience: Despite earlier, more successful experiences, my most recent visit to Alexandra Park Dentist was a negative one. I visited because I had some gum inflammation over an implant, which I appreciate is a potentially complex situation. Dr Shah advised me, in a somewhat weary way, to contact the dentist who had performed the implant operation and gather certain details so he could make an informed decision as to whether he could help. In any case, I immediately did what was asked of me and subsequently emailed Dr Shah the details of the implant on the 14/04. I didn’t receive a reply until 21/04, and that was only after I sent a couple of follow-up emails. He’d even sent me my X-Ray but without a reply to my earlier email, which I was bemused about. However, it’s fair to say it was Easter around this time. Unfortunately, his reply stated that he couldn’t help because I had an 'imported implant' so he did not know which one it was and which components to get. He’s entitled not to help, but I really felt as if he didn’t want to help - and that’s not a great feeling for someone who’s clearly in need and has paid to see a professional. In addition, it seems to me that he could’ve made sure I knew exactly which details to get from the dentist in the first place. When someone wants to help, they ensure the patient knows what info to gather. I also believe he should’ve not had me wait an entire week for a reply, only for him to then say no. I could’ve gone elsewhere in that week, but instead I waited. I feel like I wasted £50 as a private patient and wasted a lot of time. The way he spoke to me as well felt like “banter”, as if I were talking to a mate down the pub and not to a professional. Finally, and maybe this shouldn’t matter from a dentist, but the emails and correspondence were not grammatically correct or punctuated properly. The dentist also uses a Hotmail email account. These are small details, but surely having pride in one’s business is about the small details? It’s £10 a month to purchase a business email account. It’s a shame that I won’t be returning to APD because Dr Meera is really good and Dr Morteza is an absolute genius, although he also works in other practices around London. Ironically, while I was waiting for this appointment, a man I didn’t know asked me what I thought of the dentist. I only had good things to say, however, all it takes is one bad appointment to reverse the good. Sadly, this is what happened to me. I now have to see a specialist periodontist, which is probably the better option for me anyway. I’ve suffered a lot of grief with my teeth throughout my life, and dentists are far too expensive these days to offer anything less than brilliant service. I don’t think anyone will get his from Alexandra Park Dentist.

Negative experience: Would give zero stars if I could, came here through 111 emergency line, I had 2 fillings the week before from my own dentist and started getting awful pain, I tried explaining to the dentist what my issues were but she was being very dismissive and ignoring my concerns, after she done a xray I was asking her a question and she turned around and said “ you ask a lot of questions and I don’t have the time”. she was so rude and said the only treatment she could give me was a temporary filling in my wisdom tooth which wasn’t the tooth giving me problems at all, I said I don’t understand as this isn’t my problem it’s the tooth I had the filling the week before that I’m in immense pain with, she said I either accept this and I “seemed confused” or basically go back to my dentist, would not address my issue at all, she also said “if I want proper care then I should pay private” in a really condescending way, she lacked complete empathy, I went ahead with the temporary filling in my wisdom tooth… and shock I’m still in awful pain and now even worse pain, I wouldn’t suggest any nhs patients to come here, she didn’t even say bye when I left the room just turned her back.. zero manners, another greedy dentist

Fantastic experience: So thankful for Priya..my regular dentist couldn't give me an appointment till Tuesday and I have been in a lot of pain. Managed to book an emergency appointment on Friday instead and Priya was so efficient and informative about what was happening and what was going to happen.Within minutes the procedure was done.I'm very impressed and I'm considering making this my regular dentist now.All I can say is thank you very much and highly recommended.

Negative experience: The staff at this place are generally friendly, helpful, and attentive. However, I did notice some unprofessional behavior that stood out. A couple of staff members were joking around and making fun of customers’ names when they thought no one was listening. While it may have seemed harmless to them, it definitely came off as disrespectful and immature. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, no matter how unique or unfamiliar their name may be.

Fantastic experience: One of the best dentist I’ve ever been too! I am registered under another dental practice but I could not even get an appointment to sort out my infected tooth. I came to this practice and had to pay privately but it’s worth every penny. Mr shah has years of experience as a dentist and took my tooth out with ease. Hardly felt any pain at all! He was very compassionate and you can tell he cares for his patients. I’m grateful that I came here to get my procedure done as quickly as possible. It’s a shame they do not accept new NHS patients otherwise this would be my new practice. Other than that, I would highly recommend coming to this practice!

Negative experience: Very rude unprofessional everything turning private they dont want to take new NHS patients all they care about is money even after i finished my emergency treatment they just gave me water to rinse my mouth and not mouthwash considering i paid for the treatment not very friendly at all they didn't want to say Hi and bye. is not that they cant take NHS patients problem is they want money and its pure greed and the government don't care about British citizens i was born into this country i should have rights to NHS treatment i could had a proper cleaning treatment but they was so lazy only treated the actual problem which was they only clean the back four teeth very disappointed of the customer service that i received today. And i live 12 mins away and they refused me to join and they had the audacity to tell me you should go and see a dentist on a regular basis and then i was like how could i now when companies like your establishment wont let me join. And i still have pain on my right bottom tooth!

I came as an emergency patient via 111 and thankfully was left in the, caring, professional and capable hands of Meera on two occasions and the wonderful Nick. I have nothing but praise for these two professionals as well as their respective nurses, I was treated by them with the utmost respect and kindness. Fantastic experience: I recently had a root canal treatment and crown fitting at Alexandra Park Dental and I can not recommend highly enough the excellent care and expertise of Meera and her dental nurse Anjana. Despite it being a long procedure, they made the whole process comfortable and painless. I have total confidence in Meera: she explained everything thoroughly and continually ensured that I was comfortable and at ease. Her attention to detail was amazing and I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had to go to a new dentist to do my extraction and I was super nervous, Mrs Shina Popat was outstanding, Ive only ever had 1 filling and that was a long time ago so i wasn’t sure what to expect. But she was patient and explained everything really clear, made me feel very comfortable and didn’t rush or make me feel embarrassed for not handling the pain well. In the end it was over faster than I thought, and alot less painful then I thought. I don’t often leave reviews but I told myself I had to leave a review for her because she deserved it.

Fantastic experience: I just had a wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr. Nick and his amazing assistant Anca and I couldn’t be more impressed. The experience was seamless, Dr. Nick is truly a skilled dentist, and a magician with his hands. He made sure I was completely comfortable throughout the entire procedure. The best part? There was absolutely no pain, not even when the anesthetic was administered, which is a rare feat in my opinion. His assistant was equally fantastic, supporting every step of the way with a calm and reassuring presence. I highly recommend Dr. Nick to anyone in need of dental care.

Fantastic experience: I came here this evening for an emergency appointment. I was in extreme pain and after expressing that to the young lady on reception she went and asked the dentist to see me early. I was seen by Nick, assisted by Mary, both of whom were so kind and patient. They reassured me throughout the tooth extraction and honestly I couldn't of asked for a better service. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Alexandra Park Dentist Practice for many years and always been satisfied but since I've been seen by Dr. Nick over a year now I cannot thank him enough for taking such a good care of me. I have had several quite complicated issues with my teeth, mainly due to my anxiety towards dentists overall, I postponed treatments or ignored many problems. Since I have been treated by Dr Nick my anxiety has almost completely gone and I actually feel happy to come to the surgery. His warm and friendly approach, thorough examination, followed by discussion of different treatment options and the actual treatments which so far been the highest standard, I can only highly recomend him! Together with his team of nurses , like Elif, as well as the friendly and efficient reception staff , in my opinion, this is the best Dentist practice in North London if not all London! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had to have some baby teeth removed because her adult teeth were not coming down. This was handled with so much care and kindness. My daughter felt really well looked after and quite stunned at how quick and painless it was after the anaesthetic was given. Highly recommend this Practice.

Fantastic experience: Meera has always delivered an exceptional level of service, making you feel at ease the moment you enter the practice. She explains dental issues in a way that is easy to understand and presents a few solutions where possible, allowing you to make an informed decision. I’ve had two rounds of root canal treatment and crowns and despite this being a tricky procedure, everything was handled incredibly well. Mira ensured that the treatment was as comfortable as possible, with the fantastic support of Angela. This practice is definitely my first choice and I would highly recommend them. The team are extremely accommodating as they genuinely care for their patients!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming for over 4 years with generally excellent service. Dr Nikita Patel is one of the best practitioners I have received treatment from, mainly for checkups. She listens, answer questions and give considered guidance where she is able to.

Negative experience: Not happy with there service my wife went there for examination and they gave here a temporary filling but that filling was unprofessional it did not even last 24 hrs it doesn’t mean in an hr after it goes worse we have had better service from NHS dentists very poor service from private dentists will not be going here again and I will tell my other professional colleagues not to go here.Very disappointed a training dentist would of done a better job or a 10 year old pathetic rubbish service and the staff are are same

I was always apprehensive and nervous to begin the process but am so grateful to have met Nick and been helped along the way. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Alexandra Park for years now and that's because of my dentist Bushra Ibrahim. My family and I travel from Wembley to see her as our local dentists are not trustworthy. Bushra is a consummate professional and has a friendly and honest approach during check ups. She is extremely gentle in her approach and gives the best advice. I was the first one who started seeing Bushra and when my husband got seen by her he didn't look back and now our two girls have become her patients as well and what a wonderful approach she has with our 2.5 year olds who were quite hesitant. Her gentle manner eased them into opening their mouths and having toys in the room was another plus as it distracted them from being in a new environment. I am so lucky that my girls will always be given safe and honest treatments by Bushra in the future which is extremely rare to find. How fortunate that Bushra is a specialist in sedation as well which means if my girls ever need it they will be in the safest hands Highly recommend Bushra at Alexandra Park Dental!

Negative experience: Hi, I wouldn't even give them 1 star, as I went tthrough111 appointment and paid for the band 1, there they couldn't identify the problem though I was in so much pain, just said I didn't brush properly and need to book hygienist from them who charges £60 for the appointment. I was in severe pain for the next 3 days and then booked another appointment from 111 with another dentist( though this one had many appointments available but I didn't wanted to do there again) paid again but the other dentist from another surgery was very kind identified the actual.problem with my wisdom tooth and sorted it out. I started feeling better in a day.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Meera & am so glad I found her! Visiting the dentist is not my favourite thing but she is an exceptional dentist in terms of being gentle, professional and very competent. I went to her after my previous dentist recommended I had 4 new crowns & I wanted a second opinion. A friend recommended Meera who advised I did not need all of the work doing, just one crown. I trust her completely & now all of my family have her as their dentist.

Fantastic experience: I got 10:15 appointment last night fr 111, askd to arr 10m b4, did it but was seen after over 30mins. Receptionist I felt was a bit.... but then i dont judge people by 1st few mins talk. I tried to talk over to judge n she came out to be amazing person. I would rate 7* for her. Seeing 30m after app time is understandsble as they were with patient n better fit you in than saying No. Dentist was amazing, did good job. (Extr molar) rextracted in less thsn 30 sec hardly any pain. Ofc anaesthetics whatever you call it, but good job. Try not to judge ppl with 10m 1h exp. Thay are excellent n knows what they're doing.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Nick and his nurse during my recent dental visit. They welcomed me warmly and took the time to thoroughly examine the issue with my teeth. After discussing my treatment options, Dr. Nick recommended that I continue with the treatment plan I had started with another doctor, which I appreciated as it showed his commitment to my best interests. They also prescribed medication for an infection, making sure I left with everything I needed. Overall, I felt very well cared for and am happy with the visit!

Negative experience: I booked new patient examination based on these reviews and I wish I hadn't. When I called to book the appointment, the receptionist was extremely rude and acted like I was wasting her time. It was like I was begging her to give me the available slots. I still went ahead and booked anyways but wish I had trusted my instincts sooner. I arrived on time for my appointment but was only seen after 15 minutes. No one bothered to explain that they were experiencing delays. Now come to the appointment itself, I don't have the best teeth but the Dr who saw me lacked empathy and somehow I felt like I was being judged. Asking me which country I come from while making condescending comments about my previous root canal. Despite seeing me late for my appointment time, he still left me in the room with a nurse while he took what seemed like a personal call. Just pure lack of respect for peoples time. To think I had to pay £70 for this kind of service is ridiculous. I won't be returning as a patient
