Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this dental practice enough. After choosing them last year for dental implants I decided to transfer from my old practice for all my future treatments. I have just finished treatment for 2 dental implants, my dentist Morven was amazing from start to finish Every visit she would explain what was happening and was always reassuring and calming which helped me through my journey. The treatment was totally pain free and I am so happy with the end result. The rest of the staff are lovely as well from the receptionists to the dental nurses and hygienist.

Fantastic experience: I had a massive abscess on an upper molar .. got an appointment almost immediately. Nasty tooth was extracted by Morven who fought the mischievous molar for an hour. Once out, the relief was instant. Next day I received a courtesy call from the surgery to ensure I was ok .. although unexpected, it showed they are genuinely considerate to each patient and treat them with a personal touch .. that makes the difference !

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant, highly recommend. Staff are so lovely, treatment truly is pain free and you feel like you’re treated like an individual. Plenty of time to ask questions, everything is explained so well and you never feel like you’re being rushed out the door. I came here for a second opinion and have now decided to transfer here for all dental care and wont be leaving.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Morven McCauley at Dentistry on the Clyde since they opened. All the staff are lovely and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My Dental Nurses Yvonne and Donna are an asset to the practice, not only are they both skilled nurses, they also make all visits relaxing and personal. As a Dentist, Morven goes above and beyond. She takes extreme pride in her work which always results in a better outcome for her patients, thank you Morven. I could not praise this team enough, I am never apprehensive about a dental visit. Fantastic experience: My appointment for a filling, due to receding gums wasn't due until June. But, the nerve pain I was experiencing was incredible, and I can take alot of pain. This was on a different level. I couldn't eat properly nor brush my teeth without the pain radiating all through my mouth and jaws. However, I phoned on the Friday and got an appointment on the Saturday. Morven and her assistant were fantastic. I got a white filling, filling in an area the receding gum. It was pain-free. Absolutely brilliant. Now I can eat without pain, and most importantly, brush my teeth!

Fantastic experience: Stuart Wilson Dentistry on the Clyde – Review 20.2.24 Now in my 70th year and with my top teeth failing I feared I was heading for the dreaded full denture. Thankfully I was very fortunate to be referred to Dentistry on the Clyde. There I met with my wonderful Smile Advisor, Chloe who explored my options with me. Subsequently I met with Dr Morven McCauley who specialises in implantology. Instinctively I felt a very reassuring confidence from Morven, I was very sure I was now in the presence of dentistry excellence. Certainly I was not mistaken and thanks to Morven and her team I now have a wonderful new ceramic upper arch fitted onto six implants. All the staff I met at the practice were brilliant, Smile advisor, Chloe, Dental Nurse, Yvonne, Hygienist, Thurga and all the reception staff. Of course, leading this great team is the very wonderful Dr Morven McCauley, whom in my humble opinion is simply the very best dentist I have ever met, I truly believe she is a real ‘Superstar’ in the world of dentistry. All my treatment was completely pain free and I looked forward to each visit. If you are looking for a top dental practice, please look no further. Fantastic experience: I phoned this morning at 9.00 and was given an appointment with Ross at 09.30. I had never met Ross before. I found him friendly, reassuring and very confident that he could address my problem. He was happy to explain his findings and plan of action. There was no hurry, and at the end of the procedure he was happy to answer any questions. I am on the dental plan and i have always been given an appointment within a very short space of time if i experience any difficulties. I also like the fact that you are recognised as a patient at this clinic. Everything is done in a professional, friendly manner. Excellent for any patients who have " dentist anxiety"

Negative experience: Totally professional and pain free. Always accommodating with appointments and all staff are always smiling and friendly. The reception girls(Liz & Laura) are the best and do everything the can for you- truly are the dream team!!....review has been changed. This was over 6 years ago when the practice was good. Left the practice as it was all about money. Everything cost a fortune and pushed to sign up for a monthly fee. Left as was told kids could not go there on NHS unless we signed up.

My confidence was so low because of the condition of my teeth. I now can’t walk by a mirror without smiling I’m so happy. Fantastic experience: I’ve always been terrified of going to the dentist—just the thought of sitting in the chair gave me anxiety. But deciding to go to Nial for Invisalign and cosmetic bonding was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done! Not only do my teeth look amazing (I get compliments all the time!), but the whole experience was made so much easier thanks to Nial's kindness, patience, and genuine care. He made me feel completely at ease every step of the way. And I literally can’t say enough good things about the reception team—they completely break any stereotype of cold, rude front desks. Fantastic experience: In today (15/03/25) for a hygienist appointment. As usual staff were fantastic. I have a real phobia about dentists, however ever since using this practice I've become far more relaxed. I'm terrible with names, but I enjoy a wee blether with the hygienist about musical theatre. Six years ago it would've been all I could do to stop myself from running out the door. I'm moving house shortly and I was going to register with another practice. I've decided that I'll stay where I am. What would've been a fifteen minute journey to a local dentist is going to be a one hour each way commute. That is a measure of how much I like the staff and the treatment I receive.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished my first appointment with Jen and Kirsty as part of my treatment plan. This is my first time visiting the dentist in a long time and I was nervous. Jen and Kirsty were very friendly and really helped calm the nerves. They both explained what would happen during the appointment and lots of helpful advice.

Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to do this for a while, having been scared to attend dentist and only going when in extreme pain, I have just been for 6 month check up and no problems I built up the courage to get assessment 8 months prior and discussed my fears, they were so understanding and reassuring. Having undergone a lot of appointments to get my teeth stable including route treatment and multiple hygiene appointments I can honestly say my fear has gone, the way all staff treat you from the moment you walk in and talk to reception staff to the various people who worked on my teeth, they all made me feel at ease, sat with headphones and some personal music to keep me calm and staff constantly checking if I was ok to continue, yes not cheap but I can't and won't put price on my confidence or my smile . I would get to door of dentist and just walk away due to my anxiety, I now attend all appointments without fear.

Fantastic experience: Probably the most relaxed experience I’ve ever had at a dental practice. I was having three fillings replaced which was completely pain free. I would feel confident recommending the practice, I’m quite nervous when it comes to dental treatment but actually looking forward to next visit and treatment continuing, thanks Morven

Negative experience: Let me begin by saying I don’t leave a two star review lightly however after my consultation this evening I don’t feel anything higher would be appropriate. I contacted the practice online to discuss teeth whitening options and received a prompt reply and call inviting me to attend a consultation to discuss further. Pre consultation I received a survey covering medical conditions and asking about my general happiness with my teeth. All standard stuff so far. Upon attending the consultation, I reiterated that I wanted a refresh of my teeth and for them to be whiter. At this point I was given an in depth demonstration about how Invisalign treatment could help straighten my upper and lower arc and complimentary whitening was part of the process. This was followed by a quote for the above treatment which was just a shade under £7,000 yes £7,000. I was then run through the finance options available over 12 months and asked if I’d like to schedule my first consultation and scale and polish £225 worth of treatment. I politely declined to take this forward and advised this was because I was only interested in whitening. Two further quotes were quickly generated one for just under £500 + £225 and another for just under £1000+ £225. Still recovering from the initial £7000 quote for treatment I hadn’t asked for, I agreed to go away and think about it. Rather than a consultation to discuss the treatment I enquired about, this felt very much like a sales pitch. I’d heard positive things about the dental practice but this has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Fantastic experience: Chloe and Niall were amazing from my first appointment to my last for my braces. Gave me so much confidence going in and made me feel comfortable through-out the whole procedure. Reception staff are amazing too and I've even signed up at the practice just because of how friendly/amazing everyone was! 10/10 for service and professionalism during my whole procedure. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: This was an emergency appointment as my bridge had come loose. I wasn't able to see my usual dentist but the dentist and nurse who looked after me were super. Removed the old bridge, cleaned it, and refitted it; all painless and really seemed to take a lot of care with the operation. Shout out also for the reception staff who are always really friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: What can I say that hasn’t already been said? DOTC amazing staff whom are very welcoming. Morven McCauley was assigned to me as I had a mixture of dental issues. I had lost all confidence in dentists and had major anxiety. During my initial consultation Morven put me at ease and over the next 4 months, not only had she built up my trust and confidence, she also became a miracle worker and gave me back my smile and self confidence. I was dubious about their promise of pain free dentistry but, I can honestly say that the major dental treatment I had over months of visits, it was completely pain free. I highly recommend DOTC you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The staff were not only incredibly friendly but kept me informed at each stages of my procedures and what was involved. This information allowed me to understand what was actually happening with my teeth and, as importantly, the health of my gums and how to better look after them. They were all fantastic!!

Fantastic experience: Was seen promptly today at Dentistry on the Clyde. The dentist was very polite & listened to everything I had to say. He did his best to fix the problem I have with new dentures. He advised me to only wear when eating, keep them out all other times, as gums are sore, this will give gums time to heal. If still having problems, come back & he would his best to sort them.

Fantastic experience: I was feeling very nervous before my appointment as I've never had root canal treatment before ...Morven and her assistant Yvonne made it completely painless and when it was done I wondered what I was soo worried about..(think it's an age thing) .I've had a lot of treatment including implants ..the service is brilliant from the receptionist to the hygienist to Morven and Yvonne .I would highly recommend !!!!!!

Fantastic experience: My over all experience here was a pleasant one. Andrew the dentist was an absolute diamond. He made me feel at ease and listened to me and what I had been through with previous dentist. He could see i was anxious and shaking with fear. But with a calming manner he made me feel at ease. He explained everything what he was going to do and was honest with me and told me what was wrong with my mouth and how it could be sorted. Donna the dental nurse was also amazing, she very professional and was such a lovely person to talk to. Andrew, went above and behond to try and get me the help I needed as I was needing to see a specific orthodontist surgeon to treat my problem. When I phoned the practice firstly, I was greeted my Sarah and she was amazing at her job. All the members who i have mentioned are amazing and are a credit to your practice.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience with Ross who has a touch of OCD straightened my teeth to perfection and whitened them. Much better service saving my original teeth than ruining healthy gums and seeking Turkey teeth. All pain free efficient and guidance throughout.

Negative experience: Having had a whatapp appointment with Dawn I was raring to go. I waited a month for my first appointment. The email heading on the confirmation stated Dentistry On The Square, Glasgow. The same clinic was quoted in the email. On Sat 29th June I drove 50 miles to get there. Upon arrival they informed me my appointment was with Dentistry on the Clyde, Gourock... a sister clinic. I was left to contact that clinic myself. On doing so I made an alternate appointment for Tuesday 2nd July. I drove 75 miles to get there, all the time wondering why Iwas being sent to this more remote clinic. I was early and spent around 15 mins in reception. While there the two receptionists chatted freely about other patients. One man was described as being a right pain, refusing to pay, saying his treatment was poor. It was the receptionist's opinion that there was nothing wrong with his treatment, he just didn't want to pay. She may be right, but she should not have discussed the issue in public. Another patient, another pain, because she kept phoning to check appointment dates/times, inconveniencing reception staff who have better things to do... slagging off the patients presumably. By the time the dentist arrived I was certain that both reception staff lacked respect for patients and wondered how they might come to view me. Very off-putting. Like me, the dentist agreed that, due to distance, I would be better off attending the Glasgow clinic. She couldn't proceed with the initial appointment however, as it would have to be repeated in Glasgow. And paid for twice. No one could explain why I was being shunted between two clinics, though I was promised that Dawn would contact me to apologise for the mix up, and arrange an appointment in Glasgow. More that 48hrs later I am still waiting for that call. So 250 miles driving/petrol and over 5 hours travelling and around 6 hours of my time for absolutely nothing. Obviously I haven't had any treatment, so I can't comment regarding that side of things, but I believe that, as a potential patient, planning treatment costing many thousands of pounds I deserve better.

Fantastic experience: After seeing several dentists, who all said there was nothing that could be done for my baby teeth, I attended dentistry on the Clyde. They were able to cap my baby teeth to help extend their life. I’ve been a patient now for a number of years and would recommend it to anyone

Fantastic experience: From the minute I walked in the receptionists made me feel welcome. The place felt modern and the equipment seemed to be more advanced than I’d experienced before. Nial was amazing and throughout my treatment was professional and explained everything. When they say pain free it really is pain free including the hygienist. It’s the first time in long time I’m not conscious about my smile as I feel so much better. It was a great move to here and I’d and have recommend to my friends and family. Thanks

Fantastic experience: I have to be brutally honest. I have one major regret with Dr Morven McCauley and Dentistry on the Clyde. My regret is that I didn’t I bite the bullet sooner and just go ahead and pay the price and solve my teething problems. Morven’s implants have changed my life. They have brough back a confident smile to my happy face and have made wining and dining with my wife, family, and friends a joy again. Morven’s implants and expert dentistry have also impacted my social and business life for the better. Why did I wait so long to do the right thing? I also appreciated the ease of the whole experience. Morven and her staff were warm, caring, and helpful and I loved the state-of-the-art technology. I really appreciated being able to see, and have explained, the exact condition of my teeth and bone structure etc. Nothing was left to chance, no guesswork, just skill and precision using the latest technology. Originally apprehensive about booking an appointment due negative experiences in the past with my previous dentist, I was quickly put at ease with my dentist, Jack. Jack has been excellent throughout my appointments. He communicated clearly and was very understanding throughout. My hygienist, Thurga, was also excellent - again giving me tips on how I can better look after my teeth. Throughout my time with DOTC, my appointments were scheduled well in advanced and I was able to work my appointments around my career. My teeth are now the best they have ever been and I am no longer apprehensive about going to the dentist. I would highly recommend this dentistry!
