Negative experience: They've been overcharging my mom with appointments she never made as well the receptionist made her feel unheard and didn't care to even listen to my mom, I'm making a formal complaint against them, she was crying to me with her anxiety all over the roof on the phone that this is the second time they've done this to her and she doesn't want to come to this dentist anymore, this is not fair on her, they lie to you even when you have receipts and everything, on their system says one thing but on my mom's bank account and receipts says different

Negative experience: Horrific experience with Dr Karla Stajcar. I was told over the phone I'd be booked in with my regular dentist and didn’t need to book a hygienist separately - that it would be referred internally if needed, at NHS pricing. When I arrived, Dr Stajcar was cold and confrontational from the start. She insisted she’d never met me before and dismissed everything I was told as “ridiculous” advice from their call centre. Her tone was hostile throughout - she examined me roughly, ignored my attempts to help, and visibly mocked me by glancing at her assistant during our exchange. When I calmly tried to clarify what I’d been told over the phone, she became increasingly aggressive, saying, “Of course I’m angry - you're making me repeat myself,” and told me reception “can’t help” if I complained. I had to ask multiple times who the practice manager was, and even then was met with silence and attitude. I left feeling completely shaken. I’ve never been treated so badly by a healthcare professional. I would strongly advise others to avoid this dentist based on my experience. No patient should be spoken to or treated like this in a healthcare setting.

Negative experience: Yet again very very disappointed with their service. If possible avoid this place at all costs. Saw me for less than a minute, and said that they can’t treat it - has to be another doctor. But, charged me in full. What a worthless place it is. Shameful to be called a dental practice.

Negative experience: As I am currently progressing my complaint, after 15 months of being a patient, I am unable to list the issues I have raised with them. The practice manager was contacted on 30th April and I have received no response. I contact the practice again, by phone, on 14th May and an appointment was made for 28th May to try and resolve my current issue. It turns out that a standard check up was made so nothing has been done to rectify the problem yet. I have another appointment in two weeks. Let's see what happens then!

Negative experience: Terrible service, poorer communication. I have had an on going issue with the practice and the practice manager. My issues were ignored for several months. A refund on services was offered to me, I am still awaiting refund 2 months later. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Negative experience: My teeth were basically perfect. Been to 5 or 6 different dentist places. All of them including this one allowing the dip shape in my teeth to turn into cavities. They won’t listen to me. I know it will turn into a cavity then a filling as it’s happened before as my old dentist did the same mistake. Got so much pain in my teeth. If I lose any of my teeth or if they get worse I’m giving up with everything. Never eating again as I can’t take the pain and need my teeth to stay the same. Just want my old teeth back. I take care of them like I always have. It’s due to grinding due to anxiety I think. I wear the rubbish mouth guard but it’s too late now for the tiny dips in my teeth. Only way to stop it is fillings. Ashamed to have my teeth as was once perfect. My teeth should be perfect . Brush twice daily, drink and eat boring foods to protect teeth and for what . X ray says it’s fine but if look at the teeth it’s clear and obvious where the tiny dips are. Teeth that has them has the teeth pain. The dips are getting bigger as days and weeks go by. Fantastic experience: After many weeks & preparation for my fitting of my little denture, I was slightly a little worried about it not happening for now. I had the lovely pleasure of meeting the new dentist Gunjan, who was absolutely amazing & so lovely. She explained the reason for the holdup& when I will have the refit, explaining everything that will happen this time moving forward step by step. She was also sooooo very apologetic & made sure that everything will go to plan once I've had a referral to another dentist to go ahead with the removal of 3 teeth that needed to be removed. We apologise for the inconvenience of our overall rise in prices for appointments and treatments. This is due to the increase of material costs because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our payment in advance policy requires all patients to pay the full amount or a percentage at the time of booking the appointment. Demand for appointments is very high so we follow this policy to prevent failure to attend. It promotes patients to inform us when they need to cancel so their appointment time can be used to see another patient in need of dental care.

Positive experience: Hygienist Jackie is lovely - kind, calm and thorough. Only 4 stars because the waiting room still (after some years) looks like a work in progress. No pictures, no plants, no soul. Mr Brown & Co always made it feel welcoming - activities for children, magazines and a nice atmosphere. It's now cold, sterile and looks like a cheaply furnished office space. As a side note the receptionist's first words on exiting the appointment were "that's £69" (the other receptionist was chewing).The ladies in the past would always offer a friendly comment to detract from the painful process of going to the dentist. Much missed. Quincy and Jackie are stars. The rest is lacking. Such a shame.

Positive experience: The dentist is accommodating and understanding, but the receptionist is a very unwelcoming and intimidating makes you feel worthless. Positive experience: The waiting area could do with a few carefully positioned distractions... e.g. pictures on the wall. There used to be an aquarium along one wall and a magazine/newspaper rack on another wall some years ago. The reinstatement of the kids play area under the stairs would be welcomed by all the mums and dads, I'm sure. At the moment, if people are not glued to their phones, they have no other option but to just stare at each other or out of the window at a fairly bleak view.
