Baycliff Dental & Implant Surgery

Fantastic experience: Very quick and easy to book an appointment at Baycliff, the reception staff are so friendly and helpful, gave me all the information I needed prior to deciding between root canal or tooth extraction. When I had my tooth extracted Dr Khan made me feel very at ease with his professionalism and friendly manner. Very quick procedure, pain free throughout and minimal pain experienced afterwards. Would highly recommend this Dental surgery :)

Positive experience: Refered here by my dentist due to complicated extraction. Both the dentist and nurse were extremely friendly and patient. Listened to my concerns and acted when the lidocaine was wearing off very quickly due to a medical condition I have. Thanks again Edit Unfortunately I developed an infection and dry socket. I had to visit the emergency dentist over the weekend and started antibiotics. I tried to contact this surgery and each time it rung out so I emailed explained the situation and the advice I was given by the dental to contact these. iv been in agony for a week and no one has still been in touch. So I have changed my Initial 5 star to 3

Fantastic experience: Dr Khan and his staff were lovely. I was really nervous and he put me at ease with his calm and professional manner. Needed an upper back tooth removed and he done it without causing any pain. Even the pain after having the tooth removed is minimal and regular painkillers are working well. Fantastic experience: The assistant Mel and the dentist made me feel so comfortable, I was struggling with anxiety after my extraction at my normal dentist and had to get my roots removed by Baycliff, I’ve never felt so at ease, they both made a effort to make me feel comfortable and talked me through everything and more to distract me, couldn’t recommend more really happy with the overall experience

Fantastic experience: I visited last year to have eight composite veneers (smile makeover package) done on my upper teeth by Dr Khan. The results were so good that I returned recently to have my bottom teeth done and took advantage of an open day discount with Dr Hamza. All of the staff here, especially the receptionists, are welcoming, but Dr Hamza stands out as he is incredibly pleasant. His attention to detail and the quality of his work are impressive. After having my bottom teeth done by Dr Hamza, I felt that there was a very minor issue with how the top ones looked. I brought this to Dr Khan’s attention and he was very quick to resolve my concerns by referring me to the therapist, Khalid, who always has a naturally kind and reassuring presence, and has now beautifully finished my teeth. If I had one suggestion (not to do with service or care) it would be to make the Smile Makeover package feel more like a complete product by providing a tailored schedule of appointments at the start outlining what each appointment will involve. I think that would really beneficial from a customer experience perspective. That said I couldn’t be happier with my whole experience at Baycliff, I have received an excellent service from start to finish and I would recommend to anyone considering cosmetic dental work.

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient, even more so when I was told I needed a root canal. But I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at the dentist. Dr Khan and Alex are so patient, kind and funny, and always put me at ease. I couldn’t feel a thing, and even better I got to watch Friends while they were doing the root canal. I would always recommend Baycliff to anyone who is nervous about going to the dentist. Edit: I should have also said that all the staff at Baycliff are great. They make me feel welcome, and never judged for being nervous. I’d like to especially mention Lisa and Katie, who are just lovely. I’m always put more at ease when they’re on the desk being their friendly selves.

Fantastic experience: Had to have a root removed, which involved having some stitches at the end. I am 70 yr old male who throughout my life has been involved in rescuing a man from a burning ship and a woman who attempted suicide, however after a bad experience 20 yrs ago at a different dentist I now get panic attacks and dread the dentist. The reception staff at Baycliff were absolutely lovely kind and reassuring and genuine. Mr Khan is obviously extremely proficient and exudes an air of utmost capability and confidence, while remaining friendly. He put me at ease and the procedure was carried out without any fuss or pain. The only problem is that alas this is not my regular dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have just been to get my extremely stubborn wisdom tooth out, I have never been to this practice before and it was such a lovely experience. Fantastic experience: This dentist is honestly outstanding. I can't thank them all enough including the girls on the desk, they are lovely and go above and beyond to get you appointments you need. Over the past year iv had a tooth removed with sedation due to anxiety and have now just had my root canal treatment completed with Dr Khan with no sedation. The level of care and compassion is honestly something else, everything is always thoroughly explained before treatment and you are always made to feel at ease. I cant thank Dr Khan enough for making all of my dental visits a pleasant experience, something I thought i would never say and now I feel like I will have no hesitation to book into the dentist in the future when needed. I was quite nervous but put to ease straight away by Mel, an xray was taken and I was introduced to doctor Mike,twenty minutes later, two teeth out ,and I'm back at the bus stop going home. I'm genuinely amazed at the whole experience... I only hope paracetamol will be as good!!

Negative experience: I had a bridge fitted by Dr Khan in 2023.It was a five tooth bridge that cost the best part of 3000. There was a gap on the last tooth to the gum that can be seen. I went back , made Dr Khan aware of the issue and he asked the hygienist to fill it. That fell out the same day. It's had the gap since then. Recently the bridge began to feel loose. I had time to contact the surgery but was told that I would have to pay a further 70 deposit to even be seen. It is unacceptable for such work to be done then charged again for their mistake.

Fantastic experience: What an awesome dental practice ... had to have an extraction where the tooth had broken to the gum line.. my dentist Dr Mike Winston and his fab dental nurse Melanie looked after me from the moment I walked in . Explained everything that was going to be done and whole procedure was completed within 20 mins . Absolutely unbelievable. Yer I was in a bit of discomfort when the anaesthetic wore off but it's 7 hours after the extraction and I'm absolutely fine ... Thank you both so much . If anybody is nervous these 2 put you at ease immediately. Thanks once again guys ...just amazing .

Fantastic experience: Great service, Salman Khan helped remove wisdom tooth root that dentist were unable to previously. This was done cleanly without the need of stitches. The whole process was effectively explained before and after and ended up being less intrusive than anticipated. The whole team was also helpful, calling a day prior to my appointment as a reminder and provided me with directions. Overall great service

Fantastic experience: I had two extractions recently by Dr Sharma. Before l attended l had been extremely nervous and very anxious . He was really helpful and reassuring and l couldn't believe how quick and pain free it was. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone who is scared and anxious.

Negative experience: Referred here from an emergency visit 5 months ago, back in August for a broken split wisdom tooth. Still no hope of getting it fixed in sight, despite the alleged 12 week wait time. I can just hope it doesn't get any worse since I can't afford a private treatment now. Holding out my hopes I might get treated by 2026.

Fantastic experience: Went in with a terrible phobia and anxiety of needing my wisdom tooth out , can not thank the staff enough for how much they calmed me and put me at ease , the process was over before I knew it , i am very pleased and would highly recommend the service !

Fantastic experience: Today I visited Baycliff Dental for a tooth extraction. I am a very nervous patient and was made to feel so calm by Mike and his dental nurse. They both had a really nice manner and made me feel totally at ease. The procedure was very smooth and quick and i was really happy with my treatment received. They were both very informative about the aftercare and i wouldn’t hesitate to go back for further treatment. And would 100% recommend to other nervous patients.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing and the staff are brilliant, so helpful and kind. I had composite bonding with Dr Khan, a wisdom tooth out and regular maintenance appointments, my teeth look perfect and the tooth removal was so quick and easy I didn’t feel anything. Dr khan makes me feel so comfortable every visit!! You are greeted by lovely staff at the front door and it carries on right through to the service. Not to mention the luxurious feel inside. Negative experience: I was referred and came all the way to have one tooth out. When I arrived Mr Sharma said it was just to sign a form of consent - when I asked why I couldn’t have it done today as I was supposed to he said it will take 45 minutes and my appointment was only 30 minutes - instead I was in there for 2 minutes to sign a form - receptionists even seemed confused, unclear if it is to possibly bill the NHS for more unnecessary appointments… He had an appalling / lazy / rude attitude as did his assistant Melanie. When I came back to have it out (with a different dentist as requested) I was back in the car within 15 minutes as I should of been the first time. The look of baycliffs interior may be lovely but the morals and ethics are not. AVOID…!

Fantastic experience: Dr Huma and Alicia were amazing. Went for initial consultation and was given a return appointment two hours later. I was very anxious but Dr Huma put me at ease and allowed me to go at my own pace, if needed. Twenty five minutes later the filling and an extraction were over. One of the injections was the "worst" part. No other pain and none followed over the days that followed. No painkillers needed. The sign of a great dentist! Thank-you both ladies . See you in 6 months time.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have a wisdom tooth removed and a part broken tooth also removed. As Dr Kahn inserted the needle to numb my mouth I noticed the tv built into the ceiling and made a passing comment about it would be great in liverpool where on to watch. As I arrived back in for my tooth to be removed, Dr Kahn had put the liverpool highlights on for me to watch! It's things like this that, whilst not pleasant, take the edge of a little and relax you. He extracted the tooth perfectly and on my way I went. Great dental practice, all staff are polite and also well knowledgeable, highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Khalid and Amira are absolute legends! I'm super scared about visiting the dentist and I had not found the courage to go for about 5 or 6 years until now, so naturally I needed rather a few fillings doing! Khalid talked me through every step, kept me calm, kept checking in on me and gave me breaks when I needed them. Both Khalid and Amira were really chatty and easy to get along with which made all the difference. Khalid never pushed me to do too many fillings in one sitting so not to panic me. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience, considering it's not my favourite thing to do. I'm really happy with the work done and I'm so glad I've found a practice I feel comfortable with. Fantastic experience: I came yesterday to get a tooth extraction and was very nervous when entering the room. Mr Winston and his assistant Melissa quickly reassured me I was going to be fine. Throughout the process they both made sure I was ok & they both were very friendly. The inside also had beautiful decor.

Fantastic experience: Cannot thank and praise Resa & Lily for their excellent care. Big issue with anxiety (longstanding hate of dentists / childhood trauma), but these guys were awesome. Beautiful facility, friendly staff....slightly upset I didn't get a "I was brave at the dentist" sticker, but these guys have pretty much sorted my fear, and that's what I came for.....highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr Khan was amazing, went through the entire procedure in detail, calmly, made me feel at ease and eased my concerns, the actual procedure lasted less than a few minutes, and he was careful and talked me through what he was doing step by step. But 100% recommend.

I was seen at my appointment time, the dentist was extremely friendly, reassuring and thoughtful, he explained everything in a way I would understand and the surgery to my upper gum was carried out quickly but more importantly, pain free, even the numbing needles caused very little discomfort. Fantastic experience: I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed here & the staff and dentist couldn’t have been more professional and reassuring. The dentist in particular was very kind and reassuring through the whole procedure and it really put me at ease. Would definitely return to this dentist in the future if I needed to.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Baycliff's for an NHS tooth extraction which I was worried about as the tooth had broken off and the gum had grown around it. The dentist quickly put me at ease and explained the procedure in full. After painlessly numbing the area, he removed the tooth with the minimum of fuss and again, no pain. So far I have had no problems at all. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Dentist experience was something I felt nervous for. The dentist was helpful and talked me through the procedure, helping me to feel calmer. The hygienist was also supportive and made me feel at ease. Nothing seemed like too much trouble and all queries were answered.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Dentist and team, surgery is immaculate, staff are professional and Dr. Khan is BRILLIANT! I had my wisdom tooth extracted on 14/09/23 and honestly, didn't feel a thing and had no problems since. I'm actually looking forward to returning. I cannot tell you the relief I feel to have an expert as my Dentist. Highly recommend and will never go anywhere else. Thank you all soo much. Baycliff 10/10
