Fantastic experience: I’ve never had a better dental experience and I can’t recommend Bupa Dental Care Cannon Street highly enough! From the moment you walk in, the reception staff are warm, kind, and incredibly helpful. Dr. Ela, my dentist, has been so great. She made sure I left not only with a treatment plan, but with a real understanding of how to improve my dental hygiene over the next few months. I also want to give the biggest thanks to Dovile, my hygienist. I was really nervous as I’d never seen a hygienist before, but she has been the most patient, kind, and genuinely lovely person. Her empathy and calm manner made all the difference, and I now feel far more confident about continuing with my treatment. She has also taught me about a lot of ways to improve my routine. If you’re looking for a dental practice that truly cares, this is the one.

Negative experience: Always been happy with the quality of treatment, both from dentist and hygienist. But the price increases over the last few years are more than steep. I will be taking my custom elsewhere as no longer feel Bupa Dental offers value for money

Fantastic experience: What a lovely practice! Not many people look forward to a dental appointment but the reception staff were warm and welcoming and Dr Frankgate made me feel totally at ease. Jordan was very reassuring and thorough in his explanations of quite a complicated procedure I required. He was patient and had a very calming and gentle manner, which actually helped me to relax. Negative experience: Worst dentist I've ever been to. I went to Bupa Dental Cannon Street for a simple filling. The dentist, Dr Jordan Frankgate, said he would do the filling and also fill the grooves in the affected tooth. I told him not to fill the grooves and just do the filling. Because in his own words, if he filled the grooves, those fillings would then need to be replaced every 7-10 years and given that there was no decay there, I didn't see the need for it. After the procedure, when we were looking at the before and after photos, it looked like he had filled some of the grooves, even though I had told him not to. I asked Dr Frankgate if he had filled them and he said he hadn't. I asked if he was sure, he still insisted that he hadn't. I went home and checked in a mirror and saw that he had in fact filled multiple grooves in the tooth away from the filling. I immediately called to complain and Dr Frankgate admitted that he may have "accidentally" filled some of the grooves because he couldn't control where the filling mixture went, which really beggared belief because some of the filled grooves were far away from the filling. I'm honestly disgusted by the Dr Jordan Frankgate's behaviour. He did something to my teeth that I did not consent to then lied about it afterwards. I will certainly not be going back to this dentist and won't recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: had the best experience here from everyone involved, from friendly reception staff who went over and above to help me on the phone prior to getting an appointment to noticing my nerves whilst sitting in the waiting room and did everything they could to help me relax. I came in due to an emergency dental issue and Ian Bott was the most present, caring and thorough dentist I have ever seen. He completely settled my nerves, listened to all my problems, gave me as much time as required for my appointment and gave me immediate relief whilst talking through my long term options (then went on to do said long term treatment). Fantastic experience: I am a new patient at this practice, and the level of care I've experienced so far is exceptional. I initially came in for a check-up through my insurance, and I was left feeling like Neil really cared about the health of my teeth as he was so thorough in checking everything, including taking pictures, 3D scans, and thoroughly explaining his findings to me at the end of the consultation. Yesterday I came back for a filling, and the experience, again, was exceptional. It was completely painless, and I felt calm because they had plenty of time for me. I'd recommend this practice, and I likely will not be going to another one as I feel so looked after here. The reception staff are amazing, too, as they quickly provided me with photos of my teeth and x-rays when I reached out after my initial consultation!
