Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Fareham Road Dentist for looking after us today. We had another new dentist Andrew who was very attentive, polite and professional. Andrew look after my husband who has difficulty walking at the age of 93. We have been long time patients at this surgery and have always been looked after well. Thank you to everyone at this surgery.

Positive experience: I was having a shield fitted after my last one only lasted 3 months Unfortunately the new one had been made out of a harder material which made the shield inflexible The new one got stuck in my mouth whilst trying it. Luckily the dentist was able to prise it out of my mouth. Glad that happened at the Dentist and not at home! Unfortunately the mouth guard needs to be made again. Not ideal but it is what it is!

Fantastic experience: My family and I visited the dentist as Andrew had looked after us in his previous practice. The visit was brilliant, Andrew was great as ever. I could tell the difference from the last check up I had at my previous dentist without Andrew and this one with Andrew. Although it’s quite expensive it’s definitely well worth it. I should also say that from the minute we got into the surgery the reception team and dental nurses were all very welcoming, polite, happy and very helpful. Thank you for looking after us, we look forward to seeing you again next time!

My fear of dentist is no more, Specifically, Saadig Hamidi, who has been excellent in his approach. He took the time to explain everything in plain English. I now have perfect teeth and can smile for the first time in years. Would highly recommend this practice

Fantastic experience: As with many people, I am always a little anxious at the thought of a filling, this time, even more so as Dr Tate said he would look after it personally as it may be a little tricky. I need not have worried as the whole procedure was very well managed and left me a somewhat in awe at how much can go on in my mouth at any one time. so many various instruments, but all very professionally handled. My thanks go to Dr Tate and all the team.

Negative experience: My regular dentist had left the surgery and I found the new dentist to be very quick in the appointment ! Admittedly he said my teeth were in good health, but it seemed very rushed and disconnected from the vocation he choose! My normal dentist would always take time to check my oral health and then check every tooth line individually taking there time and usually use I pick of sorts to clean the build up of plaque. Maybe the private sector is the best.

Fantastic experience: I went to the hygienist this afternoon. She is great at what she does and explains the problem areas as she goes along. It was also very informative as she was teaching and included me in their conversation. I learned a lot.

Fantastic experience: I had not been to this surgery prior to my visit for emergency treatment. So everything was strange & unsure of where to go. I was put at ease by the friendliness of the dental staff. I ended up having to have an extraction which I definetely had not expected. Fantastic experience: A very good experience. Mr Shilaker is very professional and was careful and gentle when he worked on my two fillings. The anaesthetic was very effective and I didn't feel any pain. The anaesthetic was beginning to wear off as I was on my way home and had gone completely a couple of hours later. I felt confident of my treatment and my new work is settling down well.
