Negative experience: Well I went in for a check up with I baraal & she said teeth look in good condition but I said I was worried at the double tooth at the back on lower jaw grew crooked & my last double tooth at the back on upper jaw directly above the crooked one was rubbing against the side of my mouth & she said we will call you to discuss it,when I heard nothing for a month or so I found out by receptionist that the dentist who saw me was away on holiday & said there were no notes about having further treatment!?? I said I might need a retainer as I used to have a fixed brace & my double tooth moved position & is sticking out! I called again & no one was available to discuss what further treatment to have!? Now everytime I close my mouth the side of my mouth gets in between the two double teeth! Don't think I'll go here again,I'll be better off going private as at least then I'll receive the proper treatment I was supposed to have and will be looked after better!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ali is incredibly thorough — he took great care cleaning my teeth, and they now look a shade whiter! He kindly followed up on a conversation from my last visit, giving advice, which shows how thoughtful he is. Heba was so warm and helpful too, great team and amazing experience all around! Sabina.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t had a dentist appointment in over 5 years due to my anxiety and shame about my teeth. My teeth are in a really bad way and Im very insecure about them. Since coming back to mydentist they have made me feel comfortable and have all been amazing! Everyone from my dentist Ali to his assistant all the way to the lovely ladies at reception, they are doing a fab job and make coming to the dentist that little bit less daunting for me.

Fantastic experience: I went through stage 4 cancer 4 years ago & I'm now in full remission. I realized I had to change my thoughts on certain things in my life. So I went to my dentist in Poole & met Riaz Sharif. He changed my outlook & my ideas on my thoughts on my own personal health. I've now had a bridge & two crowns & feel amazing. I smile at everybody with a fool smile & I've never been happier. I can only thank Riaz for all he has done for me.

He had full top and partial bottom removed and replaced at way less then a quarter of what it would have cost in America! Fantastic experience: I recently switched from my usual hygienist to Megan at mydentist, and I'm glad I did. She was thoroughly professional and provided an excellent service and sound advice. Unlike any previous hygienists, before proceeding with the appointment, Megan asked whether I required antibiotics to reduce the risk of bacteria entering the bloodstream during a deep clean, given my heart condition. Once this was confirmed by my cardiologist, I had my first session with her and my first experience using the brilliant Airflow system. My teeth were noticeably cleaner and whiter than they had been in ages. I would highly recommend Megan as one of the top hygienists in the area, and I’ve seen quite a few!

Fantastic experience: Ismail was absolutely fantastic. I'm very nervous and she did everything she could to make me feel at ease. She was so gentle and listened to me so as soon as I felt any pain she stopped and gave me more anaesthetic. I had two teeth out with relatively no pain so can't praise her enough.

Negative experience: The worst dental clinic I’ve ever seen! First, they told me there were no NHS appointments available for two years — then just one week later they called and booked an appointment for me and my blind daughter. Then, they messed it up by cancelling one of us and moving the other to a different day .which is very difficult because of my daughter’s condition. I called and asked them to cancel both appointments because of this mess. They confirmed the cancellation on the phone — but then they called me again the next day to cancel the same appointment they had already cancelled! On top of that, when I cancelled, they told me I can never book an appointment with them again. This is unacceptable! NHS patients do not deserve to be treated like this. Worst experience ever.

Fantastic experience: After avoiding the dentist for longer than I’d like to admit due to anxiety, I finally booked in as a new patient — and I’m so glad I did. Kunal and the dental assistant (apologies, I didn’t catch her name) made me feel at ease right from the start. Kunal took the time to explain everything clearly during the check-up, including the results of my X-rays and a quick clean of my front teeth before I book in with the hygienist. He gave easy-to-follow advice on best practices and recommended useful products and a dental plan. A few days later, I called Penny at reception to set up the dental plan, and she was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing everything I needed. From start to finish, the experience has been excellent. Everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. Thank you all — I really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been seeing Dr Riaz Sharif for a few years now. Have nothing but high praise for Riaz, always makes me feel calm and at ease during the appointment which is great as a nervous patient. Going to appointments now is more like going to see a mate, he always remembers who you are. My kids now love a visit to the dentist and often compete to be first in the chair. Overall, Riaz is friendly, reliable, professional and really knows his profession.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth straightened at My Dentist in Parkstone, Poole with Kunal Vaghela and his nurse Daniella. The treatment continued for 12 months and the result is excellent. Kunal & Daniella were very professional and their teamwork was amazing to see. Kunal never needed to ask for an instrument, as Daniella knew exactly what he needed and had it to hand! Fantastic experience: I got out in contact with Ross through a friend… I cannot recommend him enough. He took great care in fully checking my teeth and dental history. He gave a breakdown of all my options and didn’t try to force anything… I’m now 6 months on and I’ve got straight, white teeth for the first time at 38. I have wanted composite bonding veneers for a few years but really didn’t want to travel to Turkey and risk ruining my natural teeth. I also didn’t like a lot of the work that I have seen in the UK. When I came across Dr Riaz Instagram page, I really liked how he has kept the teeth looking like teeth! They’re not too big, too white, too square. The consultation was amazing. We discussed and planned exactly how we’d achieve the look I was after in the safest possible way. Fantastic experience: Recently started having treatment by Dr Riaz Sharif. Couldn't meet a nicer dentist, or person, than Riaz. Is like a breath of fresh air, even responding on a sunday and sorting me the next day for an abscess. Nearly at the end of my clear correct, soon onto acrylic bonding, has been so smooth and easy. 10 out of 10.

Negative experience: a really bad experience! I had my appointment with Riaz Sharif for a tooth extraction and he broke my tooth trying to pull it out. He left 11 millimetres of tooth in my gum and sent me home telling me that the root of the tooth would fall out by itself. I contacted him after a week as the pain and inflammation was unbearable and he told me over the phone to pick up antibiotics at reception. I contacted him again after two weeks as the infection was not going down and the pain was so unbearable that I had been unable to work for two weeks. His response on the phone was that my tooth (which shouldn't be there, as I paid to have it removed) was getting infected because I have crohn's disease!!! at that point I realised that I really needed a professional to check what was going on in my mouth. So after a second opinion at another dentist, I was referred to a maxillofacial surgeon to remove the root of the tooth that Dr. Riaz Sharif was not able to remove and for which I had 2 months suffering and almost lost my job, plus the costs of the surgeon, antibiotics and days without pay! A good dentist, if he doesn't know how or doesn't dare to finish his work, should ask for a second opinion from a colleague in the clinic, because that's why they work together. I do not recommend this clinic at all!

Negative experience: VERY unprofessional, rude receptionist. She was patronising when asked if we can book an emergency appointment. She said "Yeah for £125" not helpful for a single mum on benefits!

Fantastic experience: I had clear correct done by Kunal and he made sure that the process was the best it could be. He was so helpful, kind and as excited as me to see the process and results. After this I moved an hour away but when I got a pain in my gum, I went to get it checked by Kunal as I feel I can trust him to do things well. Kunal and his assistant took my wisdom tooth out very quickly and made sure I was comfortable and okay through the procedure. Kunal loves his job and it shows in the treatments he delivers. Super grateful, thank you Kunal!

Negative experience: Had my appointment rearranged then Riaz Sharif was late with no apology, after asking for my budget which I explained was 1,500 to 2,000 at a stretch, he acknowledged this yet after looking at my teeth quoted 2,600 just for the top 10 teeth There was no discussion about what I wanted, no acknowledgement of the wire behind my teeth, or that I’d like to have composite on my bottom teeth too Their website is useless doesn’t state the prices otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered going in The whole approach felt impersonal and inflexible - it was more about getting a sale for him rather than offering a tailored treatment plan. You can’t even see my top 10 teeth when I talk!

Fantastic experience: Today I had a clinical hygiene appointment with my dentist, Dr Sharif. He explained everything to me before we started and did a thorough clean of my teeth getting rid of the plaque. My goal now is to keep them as clean as they are now all the time.

Having finally managed to give up cigarettes Riaz recommended composite veneers to get my smile back to where it should be. He brings great clarity when he explains the proposed treatments and his quiet confidence is very transferable to the anxious patient. I underwent two fillings and a molar extraction today. The process was free of pain and the outcomes excellent. I should add a word about his longstanding assistant Danielle. She has been with Kunal for 7 years and they work very well together. Danielle continually pre-empted Kunal's need for equipment or products. When he looked for the next item, it was already in her hand waiting to be passed over, so we'll drilled she is. Calmed me, put me at ease and made the whole experience as comfortable as it could be. I came into the practice to meet Riaz in October, very self-conscious about my chipped and discoloured teeth. I told him I am a nervous patient and that I have longed to get my teeth fixed for years but hadn’t got up the courage. From start to finish Riaz has been kind, attentive and professional. He gave me a set of composite veneers that have completely lifted my confidence and enabled me to smile properly for the first time in 20 years. Fantastic experience: I went to my dentist because I knew it was such a lovely branch in Poole having an emergency check up in 2023. When I called I spoke to Laura Zachariades on reception she was so love and explained the full process to me and make me feel at ease! When I come in for my appointment I spoke to Aaron on reception he was so bubbly and friendly and helped direct me to where I needed to be. I saw dr baraat, again I was out at ease as I was very nervous she told me what she was doing and gave me an X-ray to be sure and to put my mind at rest I was so happy to find out I had no cavities! After I was advised I could do a payment plan for my treatment and spoke to Hannah Howard, she was so great on the phone and arranged to meet the following week to get the finance all sorted. I’m so happy with the treatment from all staff the professionalism of them all was amazing and how lovely and down to earth they all were. I’m meeting Hannah again next week to talk further about my treatment plan and I couldn’t be happier and more relaxed about it going forward! Thank you all so much!!

Fantastic experience: Greg is an incredible dentist and runs like clockwork. Never waited for my appointment with him and he’s thorough. Had root canal with him too and he was the first dentist who actually numbed me with one injection and I felt nothing. Highly recommmed

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extracted today at 14:00, and the entire experience was incredible. My dentist was Michail Vasilogiannakis, he was absolutely amazing, no pain or discomfort whatsoever. His methodical professionalism was faultless, he genuinely cares and keeps you informed throughout the procedure. His two female assistants were great too, they all promoted a calm environment which put me at ease. I highly recommend MyDentist if you require any such procedures.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with all my dental treatment here. The staff are very professional and courteous. Penny in the reception is really efficient and helpful too. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: So far every appointment that has been arranged has been cancelled. Even appointments I have paid for. On top of that, the last 2 appoints that I have paid for have been cancelled and no one has even bothered to get back to me even after they said they would. And to add to it, when I phone up I am left in a queue for ages that doesn’t get picked up and then just hung up on. Wouldn’t recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Annetta at mydentist for over 10 years now and have always had a good service. Knowledgeable, with such a kind nature and always puts me at ease. The practice has made a lot of positive changes over the past couple of years, notably the reception team being a lot more friendly and approachable than a few years ago; I think getting this right is very important. I also attend regularly to see the hygienist - Tina is also excellent and can recommend. For patients who haven't visited before by car, allow yourself a few extra minutes, as the parking can be very tricky sometimes; be aware too that you need to register your car reg. with reception.

Negative experience: Not a great experience today! Have come out with my lip damaged in 2 places and one part feels swollen, and an ulcer on side of my to gum. I was fine before I went in

Fantastic experience: I have very recently had 10 veneers (top) and was lucky enough to have Dr Riaz as my Dentist and Danni as my Dental Nurse. I have never felt so comfortable and at ease as I did here in all my 52 years!! Infact coming from Essex and crazily travelling back there just for dental treatment (crazy right!!). Riaz is the first dentist I feel at ease with and no longer will travel all that way back to Essex as no one can beat his unreal skills (patience with me def lol) and kindness!! From start to finish (over a few sessions) to ensure correct fitting, colour etc I was treated with warmth and compassion due to my lack of self confidence. Before I even started the appt I would be asked if I was ok and how were my kids…… (now that’s a personal touch!!) such a kind personal appt. The skills and dedication of Riaz are absolute second to none. It is clearly such a passion and vocation for him and he goes that extra mile to ensure that I was comfortable throughout. My teeth were not at their best due to a previous dentist 20 years ago (previous veneers ruined my normal teeth) but now they look absolutely incredible!!! I also had a thing about my new veneers being ‘small’ and not standing out and yes …. Riaz did exactly that! My husbands reaction was Wow!! They don’t even look like veneers (which is what I wanted!) and I couldn’t be happier with my new smile. I call Riaz and Dani the DREAM TEAM as that is what they are….. they are both full of incredible knowledge, work side by side so perfectly and really are the kindest people (also very funny which always helps break the nerves!!) They’re the ‘Ant & Dec’ of dentistry!! Who knew the Dentist could be so much fun eh! I so look forward to seeing them both aswell as knowing my teeth are gonna look awesome!! I’ve been so listened to and without question I have bespoke veneers!!! Every single thing, every tweek I wanted was done happily and perfectly!! Thank you so so very much I look forward to having my bottom ones done next - I would never go anywhere else now for myself and my children - Thank you so so much!! Also thank you to the wonderful reception team (shout out to Morgan who sorted sooooo many swaps of appts for me (and never made me feel a pain! and Aaron who has the same humour as me and makes me giggle!!) Always greeted with a lovely smile by all at reception and it doesn’t go unnoticed thank you!! Anyone reading this and thinking of getting veneers Riaz is your man!!! Absolutely incredible dentist!! I’m thrilled with mine! Without question go here - you’ll leave feeling a million dollars!! Riaz and Danni thank you, you’re both amazing people.

Fantastic experience: Feared the dentist for a long time but finally decided to straighten my teeth as I’ve never been happy with my smile. Dr Kunal saw me for a free consultation and talked me through the options and what I can expect my final result to look like. I then spoke with the lovely Hannah who was able to help me sort finance out and I am now a few months into my treatment and excited to see the outcome! Dr Kunal has been brilliant and you can see his expertise and passion in what he does. Thank you to the practice and the wonderful team on reception who are always super friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Riaz since 2021 when I just started with a dental check up. I explained to Riaz that I was unhappy with my smile as my teeth were starting to come forward so Riaz recommended starting clear correct to straighten my teeth so I started with that then did a course of teeth whitening before having composite bonding. I am so happy with the result. Riaz is amazing at what he does and his assistant Dani talked me through the whole process! I couldn’t recommend them enough I can’t stop smiling! You’re both amazing!!

Fantastic experience: I have had the most wonderful experience with Riaz and Danni. For years I have dreaded going to the dentist, being ashamed of my smile and told for years there is nothing that can be done to help. No one has ever spent the time to sit down and talk to me about options and make me feel as if something positive could be done. Riaz and Danni have been supportive, honest and made me feel as if i can have a beautiful smile again. They have bought something I have wished for for year to life and the confidence and joy from my new smile is just amazing and I cannot thank them enough. I'm only part way through my journey but excited to see what's next. I would recommend to anyone who is anxious about their smile and just wants a positive experience.

Fantastic experience: First time back to a dentist for many a year.Wow what a set up at”My Dentist”they have.From the initial meeting with the very bubbly reception staff,to very impressive surroundings and comfy waiting areas,then going in to have an assessment before a treatment plan drawn up.
