Fantastic experience: I have been with Kings Road Dental Practice for over 20 years. My current dentist Heulwen Williams is a gem. She explains everything clearly and always has time for questions and puts the patient at the centre of everything thing she does. The practice is well run and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous! Been going here for years and years and never had a bad experience. Usually have Freddie who is amazing, thorough, polite, explains everything and does a great job. But had Nikhil this time - he was just so good I had to write a review. Such a gentleman, knowledgeable, polite and again did an amazing job, you really feel like you’re in good hands.

Fantastic experience: Mayur gave me a very thorough dental review. He identified a couple of lurking issues (gingivitis and an infection) that I wasn't aware of, so hopefully get the maintenance done and back on track. I knew my mouth needed attention. Possible £2000 of work needed but I knew this was in the pipeline and we discussed options and costs. He blunted a broken tooth edge giving me a sore tongue in the checkup. Thankyou all! Will add further comments if any issues, but feel confident and in good hands so far!

Positive experience: Very pleased with my consultation today. Staff courteous and friendly. The exterior fabric of your building is so tatty and scruffy, giving the impression of neglect and disinterest. I would expect a dental practice to have some pride in its premises. I was put at ease during treatment by being informed of every proceedure she was about to do. The provision of a tv screen above your head was a great distraction from the proceedure in progress. Fantastic experience: I was very impressed Helen, my other dentist could get my tooth out as I have deep routes he tried 5 times and was not successful. I went to see Helen and in less than 20 minutes my tooth was out with no pain at all not even for the anaesthetic. Awesome lady!!

Fantastic experience: Today I visited the practice for the first time. On arrival I was pleasantly greeted by reception staff who booked me in and showed me around the premise. Once in the waiting room I felt extremely relaxed and at ease by the noise of local radio and choice of reading. My dentist himself was fantastic and made me feel welcome and relaxed, not that I fear dentist anyway. I highly recommend the practice and dentist as both were extremely professional and courteous at all times.

Fantastic experience: My wife has been a patient of the King’s Road practice for some time and she suggested that I should transfer as my regular dentist near London was near retirement. I joined the practice a week ago and saw Nikhil Parekh for the first time yesterday. He was very welcoming and carried out a thorough mapping of my dentition. He asked if I had any issues and gave me very sound advice on ways to resolve them. He has the very latest technology and took several images of my teeth which he then put on screen. I have never seen such crisp and clear x-rays before. He answered all my questions in a friendly and informative way. His fee was very reasonable. I thoroughly recommend Nikhil and the King’s Road. Practice.

Fantastic experience: Since Covid 19 haven’t been to a dentist and now all NHS are shut in my area, so had to go private after a weekend of awful toothache (Wisdom) Found practice one of the cheapest in area but don’t let that put you off. Staff welcomed me friendly and practice was totally clean and spotless. With first consultation you get a full checkup plus x-rays and my dentist Harshil Shah was brilliant, so friendly and warm and explained everything happening and plan going forward. Was recommended to me by a friend and I would totally recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Been using KRD since the early 2000s and always had top class dental treatment. Some of the originals have moved on, of course, so always a little wary about someone new taking the place of those familiar faces. No need to be concerned, I’m now in the hands of Heulwen. She is currently working through a treatment process with me and I couldn’t be happier. She has sculptured new fillings in my front teeth to blend in perfectly with adjacent teeth. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Freddie is a great dentist and I actually look forward to my check ups. Very gentle and thorough he doesn’t recommend unnecessary procedures or push cosmetic improvements but he’s always happy to chat about them.

Positive experience: I have been going here for years with my children. I echo Wills comments below. I was with Rishi for years and felt that we had a thorough check when there. In my sons last appt it was missed that one of his teeth had filling issue and I was back days later and my last appts didn't feel as thorough either. I have booked for March for hygienist and check up and if not happy, I will be moving on. Another issue is with the booking system and emails with reception. I get unfriendly one word (or 2 or 3) responses when I ask for appts on dates and then I have to follow up and remind them of what I asked for further down in email trail (i.e timings and dates I can make with work and school runs) and randomly get offered an appt at 4.30pm with someone called Freddie who isn't even my dentist. This week I said yes to 2 appts and received no confirmation so have chased 2 days later only to be told they were waiting for me to respond. I had, they had just missed the email and it's been like this for years for me. It's lost the family run appeal and seems to be all about popularity and money now. Real shame. What I would give to have Rishi back!
