Fantastic experience: After being absent at iriston house dental practice due to ill health it was time to go back the dentist previous had left the practice so I had been transferred to a new dentist Geoff Scott. I would him to be very patient with me as I have a few mobility problems. He's way of managing a new nervous patient was with patience and understanding so four other appointments made that's how comfortable I felt.... L H

Dianne the hygienist has a new descale and polishing machine GBT it’s so much more comfortable having a scale and polishing machine done without and gum trauma. Fantastic experience: My experience with this dental practice is always excellent. The whole team are outstanding. I had an implant procedure carried out the other day with implantologist Brian who was fab - he put me so much at ease and I was looked after very well by his nurse Kirsty. The procedure was painless and Brian explained what he was doing throughout the whole process. It’s now day 4 post surgery and I’ve experienced no pain whatsoever. Had a few apps this year with my dentist Lori who is amazing, and lovely Karolina who has been with me throughout the whole implant journey (so far)!! And thank you to Ewa for my impressions and Sue and Gill for being so professional and kind. Great team!

We came up with a plan to fix my bottom teeth before my wedding which was a year away. 6 months of having braces & they were able to come off! i've had so many compliments on my teeth. My wedding was a few weeks ago & my teeth looking amazing in the pictures! Geoff is lovely, along with the dental nurses. I'd highly recommend Iriston House to anyone looking to have similar treatment!

Fantastic experience: What a pleasant surprise to be able to brag about how wonderful your dental surgery is, given so many people's issues with the UK dental industry at present. I moved to Iriston about a year ago, after my long term dentist moved away. I'm so happy I decided to register with Iriston, where to begin? The staff have all been lovely, from Gill on reception giving a warm welcome and great chat, to my friendly dentist, and my son's very professional orthodontist - sometimes it's the people who make a place and that's definitely true here. My family signed on as NHS patients, but the cost of work outside the NHS parameters is very reasonable, and noticeably posted for your information. I cannot recommend their orthodontist, Geoffrey, enough. My son currently has braces being managed by Geoffrey- as well as being technically brilliant, he has a lovely manner to put you at ease and explain everything that's happening. We paid privately for the braces, and I walked out of 2 other local orthodontist offices because of the attitude and personality of their orthodontists. I'm not paying to be spoken down to or feel like I'm being sold a timeshare. Geoffrey also came in at about half the price of the other 2 orthodontists. Not exaggerating, HALF the price. I paid half the price, didn't have someone look down their nose at me, and got the best service. I would happily recommend anyone and everyone use the services of Iriston, it feels great to be able to support a small local business, get great service, and not feel ripped off.

Positive experience: My family have been attending Iriston House Dental Practice for 20 year and in general have alway been very happy with all our treatments and the practice protocol. Our regular dentist didn't return after the Covid pandemic but our new dentist, Mr Stone, has proved to be equally knowledgeable, courteous and performs treatment with care and attention. My only issue, which seems common our current climate, is that I've had to wait 4 or 5 weeks for an appointment when I've required sudden treatment. The available appointment was with a dental "Therapist", who was brilliant. He filled a large, broken molar and made the experience a breeze for me.

Fantastic experience: *CLAPS HANDS*, you ready for the best dentist review every then read on. I will start from my arrival to my appointment. So I arrive at my appointment and greeted by very pleasant staff. Am greeted and checked in. All good so far, my dentist then calls my name not knowing the challenge I'm about to set them. I'm escorted to the room and asked how have I been again pleasant. I sit on the chair whilst my dentist prepares. I open my mouth and she looks at the damage. The face of despair greets me with my council teeth on full view. The dentist reaches for the tools at hand then proceeds to make my teeth look more human and Less like golem when a first entered and with a bit of elbow greece and an attitude of a saint they succeed. I say thank you and the dentist says book another appointment and I'll see you next time. So for this reason I will always return to this dentist for the pleasant and welcoming staff and for making me look more human everytime I leave. Thank you iriston house dental practice your doing gods work. P.S ask My dentist to watch braveheart please. And B & Q have an two for one offer on pliers.(for tooth removal)

The receptionists are professional, but so friendly. They welcome you with a smile, and put you at your ease. Thank you for making it another (literally) painless appointment. Fantastic experience: I had a filing replaced as my temporary dressing came out after a month and was unable to wait until my December appointment to have it repaired. Geoffrey made sure I felt no pain during the injection or all through the filling process. I felt no pain at any point of the treatment and he made me feel very safe and in good hands. Fantastic experience: I have been attending Iriston House Dental Practice for a number of years during which I have found the staff very helpful, considerate with high standards when it comes to being professional. The premises are spotlessly clean with evidence of good housekeeping in all areas.

Negative experience: It takes a lot for me to give any business a 1-star review, but this business couldn't have left me feeling more robbed. First of all, I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist, and it takes me a lot of courage to go. To be fair to the staff, they were amazing and handled everything well. I also run a business, which makes it hard to leave sometimes, so I did miss an appointment or two over the year, but I had two appointments, possibly more. What really gets to me and made me feel like I’d been robbed is that I hadn't been to the dentist in around six months or so and called to get booked in. Keep in mind, I had been paying them for over a year, so they had made well over £300 from me, and I had barely gone to any appointments. When I called the receptionist, she said they had cancelled my account. She said that due to me not going, they had to make space for other people, which made no sense to me at all. I was still paying my money like everyone else. If anything, me not going was making them money and leaving space for others. But that wasn’t even the worst part. When I checked my account, I saw they had taken a payment just two days before. So they took a payment from my bank and then decided it was the right time to cancel my account two days later. I asked if I could at least have one last appointment since I had paid, and they said no. Obviously, this left me feeling completely robbed, so the only thing I could do was leave a bad review. Don’t use this place!!

To make it easier to understand the complexity of her work, as an example, I want to say that my son could not even take blood test, let alone dental treatment! This wonderful, kind doctor has already treated my 7-year-old son - 3 teeth! I am infinitely grateful to her! Thank you!!! and highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: After being a regular at this dental surgery when our original dentist the Big gentle giant who played rugby had left just as I had been advised of requiring an operation for a Brain tumour removal and being ill for several months They said I would be accepted back and then because of my memory issues I forgot to pay £15.00 when I apologised and then was told that they wouldn’t have me back I find it very disappointing and not helpful to my condition I therefore have to look for a different dentist who is more considerate to people with serious health issues

I saw Geoff for my check up who advised I needed a filling. On both visits Geoff was ever so friendly, patient and really put my mind at ease.
