Fantastic experience: I had treatment at The Ivy Dental Practice over the last 2 weeks by the Hygienist Shruti Shrestha and my dentist Ahsan Mirza for ongoing problems I have with my teeth. Mr. Mirza put in a Crown for me and it was painless, quick and I’m very pleased with the end result. Shruti did Periodontal treatment which is a very deep clean. She is so good at her job not once did she hurt me, she kept me informed of everything she was doing during the treatment and also explained the aftercare that I needed to do to keep my teeth and gums healthy. I have had my teeth cleaned before by various Hygienist but none of them were anyway as good as Shruti. I would recommend this dentist surgery because everyone from the Receptionists, Dental Nurses, Hygienist and Dentists are all excellent at their jobs and very friendly.

Fantastic experience: The dentist is always great with my kids and they both actively look forward to going to the dentist! Communication is good and we were seen on time for our most recent appointment.

Fantastic experience: I joined this dental clinic about a year ago, and the experience has been amazing. We always receive excellent care, and the staff are incredibly friendly—especially Dr. Mirza. He’s absolutely wonderful with my 4-year-old son, who had two fillings recently. Dr. Mirza goes above and beyond to make each visit a positive experience with his warm, caring approach. He’s fantastic with children and always makes sure they have fun—he also gives out really nice stickers. He truly turns a trip to the dentist into something enjoyable. Outstanding care and service. Negative experience: Other reviews say all. And I thought I would let the other people know about my experience too. I had a crown fallen off so went to glue it again. My appointment was not an emergency as they told me over the phone that if I book as an emergency there would be an extra charge. FThen on the appointment day they fixed it and added 80 pounds on top of the NHS band 1 cost. I asked what is the 80 pounds for, as when I had the same issue before, I paid the NHS band 1 only. It was not even one year ago so i had to understand what the extra charge was for. The receptionist, oh god I should’ve really filmed it and put on social medias, started screaming at me that this was for an emergency cost. Then I explained that I did not book an emergency and I made it clear over the phone, then she started telling me this is the service and I just need to pay (again no clear information). I asked again I need a clear clarification then guess what, she called the dentist, who was absolutely overly friendly when he was doing my tooth, and said to him “The client doesn’t wanna pay for his service” in front of me. It was beyond rude but I patiently waited, then the dentist came out and said to me in front of another patient sitting in the same room, “I have provided a great service and if you do not want to pay that is fine. But please do not come to my practice again.” And told the receptionist not to charge me at all and made me leave!! Again, without any clear explanation. This was one of the worst experiences with the dentists in London.

Negative experience: Kicked out as an NHS dental patient for apparently missing 2 appointments. One appointment I called and rearranged yet they’re claiming I missed and the second I called 4 times with no answer and left a voicemail to cancel (which they claim I never left and never got back to me) and was told ‘I should’ve emailed’. I have never missed an appointment previous to this and have had a fair amount with them. Tried explaining this over and over but had a very robotic receptionist who just kept repeating to me the policy is if you miss 2 appointments you will be unregistered even if I explained over and over that I hadn’t. Asked to speak to the manager who was also robotic and wasn’t interested in my explanation either. The dentists themselves are mainly interested in pushing paid treatments on you and there is consistently a 25+ minute wait for your scheduled appointment as they are constantly late. Would say avoid but even if you do join, they’ll probably kick you out anyway.

Negative experience: I read these reviews to see if this practice had improved since I was a regular. Sadly, they seem to have remained extremely rude, shouting at patients, and not adhering to Professional Standards which is why I decided to remove myself from their list and go elsewhere. Surprised they have not been reported and investigated by the appropriate governing body. They would definitely be shut down and lose their certificate to practice.

Fantastic experience: I had such a wonderful experience yesterday. I'm not the best at going to the dentist historically. I was made to feel at ease by a combatant young man. Surprisingly pain free pretty much. My teeth now feel and look so much better. Thank you Ivy House.

So much care and attention is taken that you feel safe and assured. It's always great to hear him speaking with his colleagues too.
