I used to be SO anxious attending dental appointments. Have had great treatment from Manju, and very much so from JJ….Jithin, when a part of my tooth broke off. No pain, no discomfort, I feel so much more relaxed visiting these days. Reception team are brilliant too.

The dentist and nurse explained everything that was needed and why and offers of ideas for what could be done for my missing teeth but without trying to push me to get anything. Fantastic experience: Yet again great service from hygienist Plamena. Her friendly manner quickly puts you at ease. She explains everything that she is doing and always checks that you are comfortable with the treatment. She has given advice to help me look after my teeth, especially a couple of problem areas, at home. It has been a few years since I posted the above review so time to add to it. Plamena has now left the practice so I am seeing Jenny as my Hygienist. She continues the good work using the new Ultra Sonic (I think) descaler. Jenny also was excellent, explaining everything as she went along and giving advice as to how I should care of my teeth at home. Clare Perrell-Jones has been my fantastic dentist.. Not only has she taken very good care of my teeth in general but when I queried having cosmetic work done on my front teeth (which I hated) she was great. She gave me the options but told me to take my time and think about it as it was unnecessary treatment. I eventually decided to go ahead with the less invasive treatment she suggested and have never looked back. I now smile with confidence rather than trying to hide my teeth! I would have no qualms in highly recommending this Practice to anyone.

Negative experience: I met unpleasant receptionist demending from me payment for xray. Health board Scotland says first check for NHS patients is free of charge. When I look at their webside it is clear that during first check I pay nothing. Rip off Britain has recived email with a details of my visit. I hope some1 correct those people because it is just simply not wright what they are doing up there.

My dentist, Victoria Mueller came through to reception to welcome me and invite me through to the treatment room. After explaining the procedure that lay ahead, she made me feel very relaxed during the process. Victoria is a very confident person with a reassuring personalty who made me feel like a valued patient. Definitely going to continue attending BUPA Dental Care Queens Road.

Fantastic experience: I wish to retract my earlier post which stated my dentist had treated the wrong tooth and apologise unreservedly. After a meeting with the dentist he demonstrated with the help of a mould and X-Ray of my teeth that he had infact treated the correct tooth. The staff were amazing including my dentist and dealt with my complaint in a professional, friendly and supportive manner. Thank You to all but in particular to Emma and Donald.

Negative experience: I have never had a problem before but my dentist retired and I was allocated a new dentist. Arrived in the car park and called asking if I could cancel but as I was already there was asked to wait. An emergency case had came in and these things happen so happy to wait. I was taken 30 minutes late, dentist started treatment which appeared to go well for root canal and temporary crown treatment on a tooth that had cracked. Later that evening as my frozen mouth started to wear off i realised the dentist had done the wrong tooth and had performed root canal treatment on the tooth next to the temporarily filled cracked tooth. I then started to have really painful toothache and was unable to sleep all night. Unable to call the surgery as by time I got home it was closed, shocking negligence and I will be contacting the surgery first thing to get this sorted, unbelievable. How the dentist could have made such an error is beyond comprehension I have been attending the clinic on Queens Road Aberdeen for over 20 years and never experienced such shoddy treatment, Shame standards have slipped and the quality of professionals practicing there not up to standard.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Donald and his team enough for seeing me at such short notice yesterday. I had a wisdom tooth which needed to be taken out and I was in extreme pain. When I called, the lady I spoke to was so lovely and arranged for me to come in the same day. I'm generally terrified of any dentist but the staff and Donald himself are so understanding and kind that I felt comfortable enough for the first time in a long time to sit in that chair. Donald explained everything as he went through and I felt he was really looking out for my wellbeing (knowing how terrified I was). I want to extend my thanks to all those involved - you've no idea how rough my week had been up until that point and you've made me feel human again. Thank you so much.

Negative experience: I called regarding a concern I had in October- an appointment was made and cancelled while I was in the waiting room (if I had cancelled at short notice I would have been charged). A new appointment was made in Nov, lasted 2 mins no treatment given, but told to make a new appointment- it will not be attended to until January. Three months. I foolishly keep paying £30 pm plus the PPE fee for each appointment to BUPA for this rubbish. I have been with the practice since 2001 and am searching for an alternative provider.

Negative experience: Complete waste of time ! i waited over two months for the appointment for a standard check-up and clean. When at the surgery i was then told that the cleaning could not be done as the equipment had to be especially cleaned ! So instead two x-rays were taken...I travelled a round trip of 70 miles on six buses taking four hours. I could have been told beforehand that the cleaning could not be done on the appointment date. The practice knows my address and how far away i am. Rescheduled for November . i will probably not go back to this practice.

The girls are always so friendly and help the clients from their hearts, thinking at your side and make the best arrangements as they can. Positive experience: Attended hygienist after approximately 20 months. Initial difficulty obtaining appointment due to work commitments and availability. On attendance left mobile in car as didn't want distractions however on arriving at door asked to call to advise there. Luckily as returning to car someone allowed out and able to get in. Hygienist and nurse very professional and competent, would recommend, also very pleasant. Having paid best part of £30 a month for past 20 months for no service I was asked to pay a further £15 for "Covid" related charge which was not explained but assume was for PPE and cleaning. While I understand the pressures everyone is under this left a nasty taste and I would expect this will continue for some time. Due back to see dentist next month and imagine that will be a further £15 on top of monthly charge.

Fantastic experience: Another efficient visit for regular inspection and hygienist appointments. Appreciate the continuity of care from both professionals. Had first hygienist appointment in about 18months yesterday. Felt very safe with the Covid procedures that were in place. I attended yesterday for a hygienist checkup, was greeted at the front door by a very friendly receptionist and then had my checkup with Aileen who is lovely as always,she's very friendly, patient and offered good advice before my next checkup. Positive experience: As always my recent visit to QRDP was more like a visit to family friends than a "trip to the dentist." A friendly welcome at the front door and a professional and friendly session with Clare Perrell Jones. However, having not been able to visit the practice for circa 18 months, whilst continuing to pay my monthly subscription, I did find the nominal “PPE” charge disappointing verging on distasteful. I hope this comment finds its way back to the BUPA “bean-counters.”

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental clinic I have been with. The administrators are always very on the ball, helpful and patient even when you have complex queries. The dentists and dental nurses and hygienists are also very friendly and put you at ease, I would really recommend this practice if you are looking for a trustworthy patient centred dental surgery.

We had a problem and this was down to me not giving full information this is where the dentist and then the senior nurse came into their own. the dentist quickly realised the problem and got the senior nurse involved. the problem was solved in a few minutes. its not the routine that highlights someones worth its when problems arise however slight.

Fantastic experience: I contacted this dentist after having unsuccessful treatments for a filling elsewhere. I did not make a mistake. For the first day in weeks i managed to eat normally, sleep normally, and be comfortable in and about my day. All staff i encountered were extremely friendly and accomodating for me, even though i am not a usual patient here. The dentist who treated me (Robert Liang) along with his assistant (i didnt get her name sadly) were meticulous, understanding, and put me at ease. As i went through the procedure he explained what he was doing, how it should feel, if i was okay, and made ne feel as if he was extremely sensitive to my comfort in surgery. I beleive they have sorted my ongoing problem with their work and i am immensely greatful to both of them. While my experience with this practice is limited, i will certainly be considering changing over to them with denplan with the level of care and expertise they provided. Thankyou again

Positive experience: Most recent check up has resulted in a course of treatment plan and estimate, given to me in print and which is pretty clear. Would have made it 5 stars but I would have preferred to see what Denplan is covering compared to what I'm paying, given I pay quite a hefty monthly fee. But maybe that's just me! Recent emergency appointment was also handled really well and sympathetically by receptionist, Javier (dentist) and his nurse.
