Negative experience: There surely are problems regarding their customer service. Either they do not reply for email enquiries, or it takes several days for them to reply, or they reply something that is unrelated to your questions, as if they have never read your email. AVOID!!!

Fantastic experience: I've been undergoing Invisalign treatment at St Vincent Smile in Glasgow, and the experience has been excellent throughout. Nicola has managed my treatment over the past year with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring my smile turned out exactly as I’d hoped. I initially started the process with the goal of improving my smile for my wedding. Although we didn’t quite meet the original timeline, Nicola went out of her way to provide temporary bonding so that my teeth looked perfect on the day. She’s consistently gone the extra mile to make sure my smile meets her high standards, and I couldn't be happier with the final result. The team as a whole is professional, welcoming, and great to get along with. I'm now preparing for composite bonding with Umer and I'm really pleased with the progress so far. I went with Invisalign with Dav, and he guided me and made sure I was happy with lots of regular appointments and check ins. Negative experience: I have spent thousands of pounds for Invisalign treatment and the level of aftercare has been shocking. Early 2022 I went to the dentist with issues with my bite, I had concerns that it felt ‘off’ and I didn’t have a proper resting position after my Invisalign treatment and my jaw would be painful. After an initial filing down to try and get the bite even he told me that it would get back to normal. I still said it felt off and it didn’t feel much better. Then not long later I expressed that my jaw had started to develop severe pains, and that every time I opened my mouth or chewed there would be a clicking noise that would be very painful. I kept waking up with headaches daily constant jaw pain, never- ending clicking and swelling on my right side. These are all SEVERE symptoms of TMJ that can be caused from an uneven bite and requires further dental attention (symptoms are still present and I have made the staff aware on multiple occasions). I was told VARIOUS times that my dentist had sent through a referral to the Oral and Maxillofacial department. I have actually lost count of the times I would phone up, email and remind the dentist and reception staff on each visit that I was still waiting. I even phoned up the appointments line and that department constantly as I had not received any correspondence and each time they would tell me that the dentist had not sent it through. I was told from the reception staff here that ‘it takes time for a referral to come through’. Referrals are sent electronically and ‘within 48 hours’ according to the hospital. So, something isn’t adding up here. I knew that a referral was never sent, and when trying to ask for proof of referral I was constantly told they can’t provide me with that. It’s only when you’re spending thousands, is when you’ll get the perfect service but then trying to chase up aftercare that required an NHS referral procedure and hearing crickets? It has now been several months and in that time I could’ve actually been seen to or at least be on waiting list. I also tried to get in contact with the Practice Manager via email and phone to express my concerns and I have been ignored. I was told I would get a call back but didn't. I have requested a copy of my X-Rays taken at the start of my Invisalign treatment and that’s also been ignored. I really did put off doing this review because I had hope that I’d be listened to. I have been nothing but polite and patient through all of this, and I wish they had the decency to do the same. It has been the most stressful and painful year going through this and being lied to every single time that a referral has been sent. I have chased this up for months and months to never have an answer and just radio silence. It is really baffling that a simple referral cannot be sent off. I have received no acknowledgement on my referral nor my complaint, and no apology from this practice with the level of service I’ve received.

Fantastic experience: Second update: I'm currently receiving Invisalign treatment here and I am very happy so far. Update: initially I gave one star with the review below but I am editing, as I want to acknowledge the impressive way in which the practice dealt with the complaint. The morning after I posted the review, I had a missed call and an email from the manager of the practice apologising for the miscommunications. I also received a phone call from the dentist with whom I had my consultation, again sincerely apologising and explaining that the issues occurred due to staff shortages (totally understandable at the moment). He also informed me that they had a meeting about it and made some changes to the administration, and assured me that nothing like this would happen again either to other patients or to me if I decided to return. The apologies felt very sincere - they took full accountability and seemed genuinely disappointed in the care they had provided. I also believed them when they said they had put appropriate measures in place to avoid this happening again. 5 stars for communication and how impressed I was with how they dealt with this problem. I obviously haven't received any treatment here, but if I feel like it won't be too awkward after this situation, then I will be returning here for treatment in the near future! Original review: The initial appointment for the invisalign consultation was relatively painless - I filled out a form specifying the dates I was available and received a reply offering an appointment for outside these dates, but quickly got it sorted and booked a suitable appointment. The consultation itself was good. I was waiting for 15 minutes and was in there for around 5. The dentist obviously knew his stuff and I felt like I would be pleased with the outcome of the treatment. As I was leaving, the receptionist explained the fees to me and said to get in touch to arrange the next appointment once I had decided. That afternoon, I phoned to ask about how often I would need to be seen throughout the treatment and whether or not any of these check ups could occur virtually. The receptionist said she didn't know but she would ask the dentist when he was out of surgery and get back to me. I did not hear back, so sent an email the following afternoon. Again, I heard nothing back. I was eager to make a decision, so the following day I sent another message, this time on WhatsApp, but again did not hear back. I spent all weekend wondering how I could have been ghosted by a dentist and then on Monday morning I received a generic follow-up email; this mentioned an open day offer but did not specify what this included or whether I was eligible. It also promised another email with details of finance options, which I never received. I decided to swallow my pride and phone the practice again, but they did not answer the phone or call me back. So, in one last effort I emailed again the following day. I received a reply pretty quickly in which they apologised for not seeing the WhatsApp message (it didn't show up, apparently, even though I used a link from their website) and asking what my enquiry was. I asked again about the check ups and also about the open day offer mentioned in the email. I was told check ups would be every 6-8 weeks and virtual check ups were not possible (which is fine - I am aware this is often the case). She also said she would get back to me about the open day offer. I thanked her and let her know I would make a final decision once I heard back. I was not surprised that she did not get back to me. Just to really make sure that this was in fact the worst customer service I have ever experienced, 6 days later I emailed again to say I was still awaiting a response and asking them to please let me know - that was 2 days ago. I could have spent this time and effort at a different practice where they might actually follow through and give me the treatment I am trying to buy! I'm just glad I experienced this before I paid and not after.

They changed my appointment from Wednesday to Monday, then from Monday to Monday, and finally from Monday to Tuesday. Very accommodating with appointments. Extensive knowledge base is apparent. Surrounding are very comfortable where it’s evident cleanliness is a high high priority. As the patient you do get the impression that your oral care it of paramount importance to them. The attention to every detail in their quest to provide you with the perfect smile coupled with health promotion/oral education is in my opinion the gold standard in dentistry. My dentist Davinder always makes me feel welcome, your immediately put at ease. It’s clear at every appointment what stage we are at, next steps are explained with the opportunity to ask questions. A dentist who is obviously highly trained in the Invisalign treatment process who uses state of the art equipment. I could have chosen a dentist who offered this treatment closer to home but chose to travel 20 miles for the St Vincent Smile Glasgow.experience and I’m so glad I did.. Lastly the hygienist employed here (Thurga) is equally amazing I learned more about oral hygiene than I have at any other dental surgery, I firmly believe education is key and they certainly do advise you of the best way to take care of your teeth. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone considering invisalign.
