Fantastic experience: First visit. Saw Richard who was exceptional. He examined my teeth, took xrays and explained everything he was doing in detail. He asked me if there was anything in connection with my teeth causing me concern. I have seen different dentists over time and Richard has been the most knowledgeable. The staff on reception and Richard's assistant, were very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Had a Broken tooth at the back thought it may have to come out brilliant repair no pain 10 out of 10 top service.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had a check up last week , and met Richard and his team who were extremely professional ,knowledgeable ,personable and we could understand everything that was told to us ,we both a needed a couple of fillings redone , I returned today for my treatment and again Richard and team were amazing , I had 3 injections and 3 fillings didn’t feel a thing and felt completely relaxed. Fantastic experience: Omer and the whole team have been fantastic! I had Invisalign and I’m thrilled with the result. It took 7 months and my teeth look great. The team were very accommodating fitting in my appointments around my schedule with my working away so much. Any questions were dealt with very quickly. I also had 2 deep cleans with airflow and I couldn’t believe how painless it was. I usually can’t tolerate the pain but it was brilliant.

Fantastic experience: I had an initial consultation with Richard this week and I was genuinely amazed at the level of service and professionalism from the whole team, it's such a breath of fresh air compared with your typical dental practice. Richard and his assistant Izzy took the time to talk through everything; I've never had such a thorough examination. I didn't feel rushed and there was not a hint of a hard sale. Fantastic experience: Today I saw the lovely Ben and his lovely assistant Lucy for a tough extraction, Ben was amazing and even though I was nervous, his calm demeanour kept me calm and the tooth was removed without any major problems, I can’t recommend Westgate Dental studios enough, all the staff are amazing and although private dental treatment is expensive you certainly get what you pay for, back in 4 weeks to have a wisdom tooth filled this time, again with Ben, I have no worries that everything will be fine.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had some emergency treatment with Ben Marvell. He was very professional and so friendly. I felt very relaxed at this surgery and I’m glad it’s on my doorstep in westgate. Highly recommend all the staff and the surgery.

Negative experience: They think about money rather than have just a quick look at someone's nasty tooth problem that said it all i called them i was in agony and then called and responded they only take on private patients the money is more to them obviously than help someone suffering

Fantastic experience: As an anxious patient, finding a new dentist is traumatic for me. I approached Westgate dental last year as I had significant issues with my teeth. I asked for a dentist who would be understanding of my anxiety! I was put in the care of Richard Greenhalgh, who was described by his colleagues on reception as 'really lovely' and they were right. From the initial consultation Richard was respectful, gentle and empathetic. Never, whilst undergoing extensive treatment, have I ever felt rushed nor unconsidered. Between Richard and the various dental nurses, I have felt calm and very well treated. The result of all my treatments have been exceptional & I am very happy with the outcome every time. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to this practice; from the welcoming receptionists, to the dental nurses, of course Richard and also down to the wonderful, clean and modern facilities, it is by far the best dentistry experience I have had.

Fantastic experience: Met Richard for my examination for my first appointment at the practice. I am not a nervous or anxious person, however when it comes to the dentist this is not the case. Richard was so professional and reassuring the whole way throughout my appointment. Talking me through everything and explaining it very clearly. 10/10 service and can’t fault it. Completely changed my perspective to a dentist visit.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing, had to get my daughter into an emergency appointment. Was unable to get in contact with dental line so had no choice but to go private. They were really lovely, friendly people and the dentist Ben was a 10/10.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the lack of care .. Little communication between the receptionists and dentists The dentist and her assistant talked about their children’s teeth while I was lying there with my mouth open On my last visit they charged me £60 for 15 minutes to do absolutely nothing except give me a treatment plan that I had been asking for for months Do not go there as a nervous older woman expecting care and understanding from them Their fees are exorbitant and their attitude disgraceful 22/01/25 …I’m added notes after receiving one email saying they could not find me registered there and then this other one saying they have no email for me ..? Previously I have received numerous emails from them ? They have my email and they also have my phone number ? I would have been ok with a simple apology and accountability…. Instead for some reason they are pretending not to know me … This ridiculous scenario just shows who they are

Fantastic experience: From the moment I contacted this fantastic dental surgery with an emergency appointment for my wife who was in considerable pain the service was excellent from start to finish with a highly professional team the dentist who successfully dealt with my wife a Gentleman by the name of Richard and his supporting team were absolutely superb I cannot rate this surgery and their excellent service highly enough we will now be registering as a family with them to deal with all our dental requirements thank you again Mr Glenn Pugh

Fantastic experience: I have always had a fear of dentists but after having my teeth done twice at Westgate Dental Studios I could not be happier. All the staff and receptionists are very friendly, helpful and explained everything very clearly. Aatif was the dentist who did a very difficult filling on my first visit and second visit was to rebuild 3 broken front teeth. He and Racheal his nurse were excellent and were very professional in their treatment of me . I would highly recommend the practice to anyone requiring dental work. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding private dentist.I broke a tooth and my NHS dentist couldnt see me for over a week so rang Westgate Dental and they agread to see me the next day. I can only say that the expertise and quality of the repair carried out by Nadire Horoz was better than any NHS dentist I have ever visited. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I am on a monthly support plan and the team are amazing, my teeth are so much healthier and it's great having regular faces. My daughter aged five goes there now and they spend so much time with her which is really building her confidence to go to the dentist in general. Highly recommended

I met Richard and he was so reassuring and really eased my nerves. A day later and I have no pain with the extraction site and all seems well. Fantastic experience: I had an extraction done here with a back tooth which was pretty tricky to remove but my dentist talked me all through the procedure & I had no pain at all. It took some time and dentist was very patient & kind all the way through. Was successful in the end & has healed nicely. Just like to add his assistant was very friendly & kind too. Good experience with this dentist seeing as I don’t really like visiting dentists

I was amazed at how calm, professional and highly technical the team are. I walked away feeling an overwhelming sense of calm and relief that I have my dental care in hand again. Her expertise and professionalism were evident throughout the appointment, and I felt confident in her care. She addressed all my concerns with patience and provided me with valuable insights. Dental nurse Lucy was also a delight to interact with. Her friendly demeanor and efficient assistance added to the overall positive experience. Fantastic experience: I don’t know anyone who enjoys going to the dentist but this team are great. The atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming as soon as you walk in. I am a new patient and saw Aatif (dentist) first. He was not only very kind and caring but very thorough and clearly talked me through everything. Fantastic experience: We went for the first time to the new premises in Westgate which are all very smart, clean and welcoming. I was a new patient, together with my 2 year old daughter. The reception team were very welcoming and helpful, the dentist was very personable and very good with my daughter, especially while I was sat in the chair having my examination. The facilities were brilliant too, with a very clever 3D scan of my teeth completed quickly, and everything it showed explained to me. I’m very happy to now be a patient here.

Fantastic experience: Joined Westgate Dental Studios back when they were WestWOOD - and i have had a flawless experience with them since that moment, with an extraction, fillings and general appointments. Noone looks forward to trips to the dentist but their professionalism, service, attitude and attention to detail make such visits far more pleasant than they have any right to be. Wouldnt go anywhere else. Everything was always made clear and i have nothing but praise for the administration staff and Richard & Team.

Positive experience: Dentist is great the administration is not so great, confusing that you have to pay a deposit, then it's one rate for hygienist and one for dentist. Always a challenge to get invoices for insurance, have to chase and sometimes go back again as required information is not included.

Negative experience: After a horrible experience with my previous dentist I became warey. Westwood dental studios restored my confidence in seeing a Dentist again. The dentist explained everything he was going to do and through out the procedure.

Fantastic experience: I was really worried about having extraction of molar but dentist explained everything thoroughly and put me at ease. I felt very little at the time. Even the injections were painless. I took painkillers the first night but the day after no pain or problems at all. Easy to follow instruction given for post care. Really relieved. A great team. Negative experience: Really disappointed with this place started off ok but have had a large filling that is still playing up costing nearly £200 and had a hygienist appointment that was cancelled ten mins before I arrived after travelling back from work costing me time and a round trip of 90 miles so money as well , STILL waiting for a measly refund offered but now going to take it further .

Positive experience: Visited the hygienist on Friday 2nd June , was not impressed, it should have been a 30 minute appointment, it only lasted 20 minutes. I now have 6 ulcers around my mouth on the inner side of my lips. The hygienist seemed unfriendly and a bit heavy handed when pulling my mouth about. I visited the dentist Richard a couple of weeks ago and thought he was very good, informative and thorough, polite. The receptionist was also very helpful and nice

Having been unable to see a dentist for a while I was really nervous, especially as I was never made to feel too comfortable at my previous Dentist. He was very welcoming and friendly, and after taking a look at my teeth, was able to put me at ease about some concerns I had about my teeth and gums. I also managed to get an appointment with the hygienist the next day and they were great too . The receptionists are also brilliant, very friendly and helpful. I no longer hate going to the dentist now , so would definitely recommend this practice to anyone as they've been brilliant.

Negative experience: I had dental treatment at the dentist in Sainsburys and 2 weeks ago had a text tell me l was overdue for my check up l phoned up to say l need to book an appointment ,and a lady called Charlotte ,said loan fit u in July,she said lmust pay again £109 again to be registered .l thought what a bad way of treating patience. Why should any body pay twice .

Fantastic experience: Both Aatif and Elle and other members of staff were polite and professional. They explained what was happening, what treatment would be required and gave confidence and reassurance throughout.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Aartif and the practice highly enough. Having previously suffered anaphylaxis to a local anaesthetic during minor surgery, Aartif used alternative one for my dental work which was fine. The practice emailed me the details immediately, upon request and I was able to pass this on the my hospital consultant and anaesthetist, who used this as a base to decide what I could be given during surgery. Prior to this I had been told that no local anaesthetic would be used. I am so grateful to Aartif whose diligence has found a way forward for me that both Kings hospital and the QEQM had not actioned in time for my much needed surgery. I am also thankful for the compassion shown by Aartif in giving me all the time that I needed to explain my worries around my anaphylaxis and for taking such a tricky customer on! . What a kind and supportive gentleman he is! Many thanks.
