Fantastic experience: Honestly could not be happier with the treatment and help Anuroopa has given me, i did visit on two occasions with the most severe tooth pain ive ever had, shes fully diagnosed me helped with the pain, referred me to a specialist for further treatment and already setup a plan of action I understand. I cannot thank the practice enough, the relief i feel is amazing, anuroopa also made me calm, considered every option and more importantly listened to my opinion and tailored the treatment accordingly. 10/10 you've made me so happy to finally have the answers i needed and a treatment plan moving forward

Negative experience: POSTING THIS REVIEW ON BEHALF OF MY HUSBAND ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE. I’ve had a toothache since last week and went to the emergency dentist over the weekend. I was prescribed antibiotics and advised to contact my regular dentist. The following day, the pain worsened. I called my dentist repeatedly throughout the day with no answer. The next day, I tried again still no response. Eventually, I went in person because I couldn’t bear the pain any longer, only to be told to come back in two days for an emergency appointment. This is completely unacceptable. The management seriously needs to address how the practice is being run.

Fantastic experience: Warm reception welcome and had my second appointment with Dr Hawa. Not only did she complete my crown treatment in 2 appointments but I raised a concern about another tooth. She assessed and cleaned the tooth and gum line. Throughout the 2 appointments, she kept me informed of the process and aftercare. Negative experience: I called yesterday and asked for my girlfriend's nhs appointment and I told me that it's not private and I can get nhs. When I told her I have an appointment on the same day, she told me that you can't postpone the appointment tomorrow and I told her, can I book the appointment on Monday and I'm done with the consil appointment, so I insisted on coming on the second day because it's the only appointment I can attend, since it's only my first appointment and the second day after I came to my appointment and asked for a taxi at £20 because it's too far from my home and they were with my four children, she told me that I had to pay 86 and the appointment is not free and I have to pay. I was shocked me because I didn't tell me and this is half of a pouring and fraud and I never recommend this clinic, i will give them zero star

Fantastic experience: Front desk staff are lovely, communication through SMS/Call/email which I find convenient. Practice can sometimes be busy but got for a late morning appointment or evening if possible. Great interest free finance plans. Accepts NHS and private patients (once you are register as a Private patient you can’t switch to NHS). Sham and Jazmine worked with me to get my desires results. Would recommend to family and friend.

Negative experience: They charge you for the first appointment to tell you there is a cavity for which you go to them to fill it. No x-ray, nothing but charge you to tell you have a cavity . Then you have been told to book another appointment for filling the cavity . But work is done below professional level at all . They are worse ever I had in my life . Do not recommend to anyone

Negative experience: Disappointing Experience - would not recommend I recently visited Bupa Dental with the expectation of receiving straightforward and professional dental care, specifically to get new retainers. However, my experience was anything but satisfactory. During my first appointment, I was kept waiting for 35 minutes beyond my scheduled time before being seen by Dentist Umar Chadat. Although I was quoted £160 for the service, there was a lack of clear communication as this price was only for the upper moulds, and no mention was made of the additional cost for the lower moulds until much later. Furthermore, the practice's system was down, and I was sent away without a payment receipt or any form of documentation for the services discussed. On my follow-up visit to have the retainers fitted, I was informed that the total cost would be £360. While I am not opposed to paying for necessary dental work, the complete lack of communication regarding the full costs involved was highly unprofessional. To add to this, the dentist arrived late for my second appointment, causing me to wait an additional 20 minutes. Due to my work commitments, I was unable to wait any longer and had to leave just as he was arriving. I saw him arrive in the car park just as I was leaving as I couldn’t wait any longer!! This lack of punctuality and professionalism is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the practice as a whole. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Bupa Dental to anyone seeking reliable and professional dental care. The lack of transparency with pricing and the disregard for patients' time has left me extremely disappointed.

Negative experience: The practice is NHS and private. On the NHS side they're not very through. Why? Every appointment is charged. Send you away first time after a band one charge. Have to go back and a band one charge again plus band two or three for further treatment. The wife had private treatment. An implant. She's also not satisfied.

Negative experience: Rude staff! Iv been trying and trying to make routine appointments for my children, no answer. When I needed an emergency appointment and started calling from 9am, continuously, someone finally answered at 1pm and then told me no I won't make an emergency appointment for your child because you've not had routine check ups! Maybe if you ever answered your phones I would make an appointment! I dont have the luxury of time to sit here for hours on end, everyday, to wait for someone to answer the phone to make routine appointments. Even online I can't make any appointments because there are no nhs appointments available for the children, but if I'm paying there are appointments available readily! This used to be a good dentist but over the years I am appalled and shocked at attitude of the reception staff! And I've been a patient here since it was Fresh Dental, for a very long time, and the staff were brilliant, never had issues with them. The staff need some training here in how to speak to customers and patients!

Negative experience: The reception is useless. They legitimately never pick up the phone, and it would be ok if their message system worked but even that is pointless. The automated hold system gives the option to press 1 to continue holding or 2 to leave a message... I dialed 2 so many times and it continues to hold anyway and doesn't allow me to leave a message. I just wasted 30 minutes trying to get through to them and going through the same loop of pressing 2 and waiting before giving up. I've tried contacting them since early December as I had a text from them that I was overdue a checkup but until today (January 18th) I've only been able to contact them once. Waste of time.

The help from the Bupa staff in setting up a dentistry plan were very helpful and the treatment by the dentist Mr Patel were well above my expectations due to poor service from other dentists at different companies which made me feel a lot more comfortable knowing I had someone with great expertise.

Positive experience: The dentists are always so kind and lovely! We appreciate the care they offer me and my family. However, the reception staff need an overview in terms of the service that they provide. There are certain elements that are lacking in this aspect of their delivery of patient dealings. There has been many occasions where me and my mother have expressed concern in communicating with the care facility and the response has been throughly cold (borderline defensive.) We left distressed, cause we come from the other side of Bolton. So it’s not a short journey. We just were shocked that we were expressing our concerns to be met with hostility, we walked away from the conversation. Yesterday, my son had an urgent prescription and I had it in my hand it was not stamped. If there had been communication between me and the receptionist about if I need anything else I would have flagged that up. However, it was a blame that fell on me. I take the responsibility for that… I do feel that patience and a little bit of kindness goes a long way. I don’t expect anything… but to be met with friendliness and decorum would honestly brighten up the facility.

Negative experience: I set up with bupa for my local dentist, and paid £156 for a temporary filling, following with a inc checkup, although when I arrived for my check up I was told there was an extra fee of £56 again, overall costing me £212 for a temporary glass filling, I had previously rang up the week prior and confirmed with the receptionist this was a attached appointment with my previous payments also, I feel like this dentist was only about the profits and not clients. Will not be returning

Fantastic experience: I started going to this practice in 2021 after years of being frightened about dentists. Gopinder immediately put me at ease, and I proceeded to have composite fillings to my front teeth. Delighted with the results, I had additional work to remove a wisdom tooth and have two implants fitted. Shaym did this work for me, again given my dentist phobia, I felt completely at ease throught the treatment. I'm delighted with the work done and highly recommended the practice

Negative experience: I bleed from the gum. I went there they said £56 as consulting fees.Furthermore, they said they would do a 2 appointment package for deep cleaning. They did it once, and they gave me 2nd appointment after 3 months. I went today and they said i had to pay £50 more because they did the 2 days cleaning in 1 instead. Normally for 1 cleaning they charge £50. And I’ve paid £206 for 1 cleaning and they ask for more?!. I feel like i have been scammed by bupa dental. Fraud. Go elsewhere.

Negative experience: I have been with this practice for several years now. Unfortunately my new dentist Ismail has not lived up to the previous dentists I have seen. He firstly advised me that he could remove a crown and tooth as the root canal had failed. On the day of my appointment I had a phone call to say I had been booked in with the wrong dentist at the wrong time and they would like to move my appointment. I had written confirmation of the time and dentist so they advised me to attend. I travelled for over an hour only to be told he wasn't able to do it and I would need to be referred to a specialist. He said if I experienced pain and swelling of my gum he could prescribe antibiotics and would send a script to a chemist near to my home. Today I asked for that and am told that again he can't do what he promised and I need to go to see him. Overpromised and under delivered!!!!!

The receptionists lie to you about treatment to get more money from you and when you question it they deny it and get hostile. Would not recommend this practice. Was great when it was Fresh Dental.

Negative experience: I do not recommend going to this dental practice, horrible service receptionist never answer the phone, had booked an appointment for the earliest date they had available due to high pain in my teeth and a chipped tooth they gave me a date and now they have cancelled the appointment and I have to wait a whole month for my next appointment. Dentist seem like they just put in the practice without any training. If your looking for a dental practice I would refrain from this one at all costs.

Fantastic experience: I attended the surgery today after losing a large filling at the front of my mouth. I was welcomed by a very friendly receptionists and was seen by Karina who put me at ease as soon as I entered the surgery. The service and professionalism is second to none. I am a very nervous patient but Karina had the patience to talk me through everything, taking her time with me and explaining what she was doing. The dental nurse kept me very comfortable whilst I was in the chair and made me feel completely at ease with the whole procedure. Such friendly staff at Fresh Dental with always a kind word. Negative experience: Now it's changed to BUPA it's impossible to get through on the phone. When you finally do get through you're given an appointment which they then cancel multiple times

Positive experience: Excellent dentist ,I was nervous at having my filling ,but was put at ease and dentist was brilliant ,friendly and very gentle and made me feel very at ease

Negative experience: Be careful with who you employ to answer your phone. Hanging up on a potential customer's face is harmful for any company.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting the practice for over 10 years and never had a bad experience. It is always spotlessly clean and all the staff are very friendly! I recently had a hygienist appointment with Nicola, who is really approachable and shows a real care towards her patients. I’m quite an inquisitive person and she took the time to answer any questions which I had, rather than feeling rushed. Keep it up team!

Fantastic experience: Nicola the hygienist is super friendly and my teeth always sparkle after my visits! The service is really excellent and I highly recommend this surgery. If you are having trouble getting through on the phones at the moment please e-mail or pop into the surgery in person. They are aware of the technical issue and are working hard to fix it ASAP

Positive experience: This is my dentist and they are fantastic on site and in person … however the phone operating system they use is shocking !!! I can never get in touch with them and rang 72 times yesterday !!! After being in and out of hospital all weekend with a urine infection caused due to an infection in a tooth … it was made clear to me to contact them urgently whilst on antibiotics. I was urgent … yet to be spoken to or seen however as I can’t get through to anyone !!!

Fantastic experience: I had Invisalign treatment with composite bonding with Dr Jack and Olivia. I asked Jack for a natural looking smile which he more than delivered! I had to travel a fair way and he was always able to get me in for an appointment that suited me. Olivia was so friendly and welcoming she put me completely at ease. Couldn’t recommend these two enough!

Fantastic experience: All the staff are very pleasant and friendly. I have received some excellent treatment from Dr Shyam Patel and his assistants. The practice is spotlessly clean. It’s a great dental practice to visit, You won’t be disappointed. What more can one say. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Bupa Ladybridge for nearly a year now, everyone is so lovely and made me feel at ease, especially Shaun on the front desk, and my dentist Dr Livesey. Also love that they send appointment reminders! Thank you for correcting my bite with Invisalign where no other dentist helped. Looking forward to having bonding next week!

Fantastic experience: Very professional staff from start to finish. I would highly recommend Dr Jack and dental nurse Olivia. After the mess my teeth were in Dr Jack worked his magic and now my teeth look great and I have no pain thanks a lot guys much appreciated!!

Negative experience: I cannot stress enough how much I DO NOT recommend this practice. Upon paying £23.80 I waited for around 20 minutes to be called up, only to be in the chair a shy 2 minutes. The young dentist made me extremely uncomfortable and anxious, asking patronizing questions and offering little help in ways to resolve my issues. On top of that, she barely examined my teeth, just a quick glance over and a couple of pokes at my gums. I found here to be dis-interested, unprofessional and un-concerned. I am now writing this review £23.80 out of pocket and feeling more self-conscious about my teeth than I have ever felt before. If you are new to the Bolton area and are looking for a dental practice for you or your child, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Negative experience: I made appointment for Friday cause I was in pain so bad and they end up cancelling it when I been in pain I end up crying in pain. I rang emergency dentist nurse I end up going to dentist in Farnworth near asda today for them to do nothing about the pain I was crying in the dentist to tell them I was in too much pain this is not how I want to start 2022 in so much pain didn't even care about me crying in pain.

Negative experience: I was going to this dentist for years and never had any issues. I was never late and one day I was booked in for a tooth extraction. The traffic was very heavy I was in pain and when I arrived the dentist said she wouidbt see me and I was only 5 minutes late. Over the years of coming I was always on time but had an average wait time of 20 minutes to be seen past my appointment time. I never complained. Yet this one time I was late I had to beg to be seen. The rule is ten minute I was also warned I would be struck off also when I then went into the room with the dentist she tried to talk me out of having it done. I felt like I really wasn't wanted or welcome and list my temper stormed out abd complained then I got struck off. 3 years later and I still haven't found a dentist I can't stress how annoyed I am about this to this day. This place how they treated me that day was disgusting and pracrise manager didn't even care about my complaint at all. For me and the dentist know this, I'm not great with dentist stuff as it causes me great anxiety. They know that, and my anxiety about even a check up is through the roof but they showed zero apathy and struck me off that day they are disgusting. In a day and age where we, are mindful of anxiety and depression this business was completely rude and dismissive towards me.

Fantastic experience: I'm a dentist, booked for a course at Freshdental. I am satisfied with my experience booking of booking, although I found difficulty in finding a suitable date as their courses are very popular and spaces are taken so fast. I needed to move my booking and when I faced a problem, the manager Tom solved it for me with great understanding and flexibility. I really appreciate the time he spent to know and respond to my requests . I am looking forward to attending the course in London

Negative experience: Been coming here for 8 years now. They were amazing but my past couple of appointments have been delayed. They appointment always feel rushed. 60 seconds in the chair and it costs me £23 They’re not every clear I showing prices (have to look up on the website) Covid times - staff wearing masks under their noses!? Doors were closed, little ventilation, both times I came.

Negative experience: Did not like the service here so i chose to join up somewhere else my mother could not speak much English and there have the staff that speak our lanague but every appointments check up treatments whatever my mother has gone to she was never explained anything or the process of treatment was never explained to her its wrong to treat a patient without making them aware of what you are doing and also without them understanding!! I wouldn't even give this dental one star its awful. The staff said i should come to appointments with my mother.. lol i wouldn't mind but i have a job too and i cant take time off everytime. The dental really needs to help those who cant speak English when taking payments there are being so friendly but part from that not helpful at all! My mom was getting booked appointments with different dentist each time they are just trying to get as much money from you as possible.Feels more like a hard sale than seeing a dental professional now so Ive decided to join my mother up at different dentist clinic. Can't stand how bad there service is just money grabbing staffs its awful!! Messed up my moms teeth really bad too!

Fantastic experience: Had a fractured front tooth which needed a new crown. The result was awesome. Very realistic no one could tell the tooth was a crown. Attention to detail and care was outstanding from start to finish. Would highly recommend for cosmetic treatment.
