Fantastic experience: Exceptional dentists - and I am so glad I have found this practice, Mo in particular is simply amazing. He takes a pride in his work, is patient, explains all the options thoroughly and genuinely cares. The reception staff are also warm and always welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I have had a couple of root canals skillfully performed at Longborough by Dr Scott, not only is he a wonderful painfree dentist he is very reassuring and calming, I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Recently switched dentists due to anxiety on pain management. Have been so impressed by how caring they have all been at Longborough. There were a few stand outs: pain management (I felt nothing - the first time in a number of years); good practise - they had a clear plan for a procedure, problem solved during, and explained everything really clearly and it all made sense at the time; bedside manner - this started from the professionals on front desk all the way through to the chair; and finally clear plan - i had experience where i was just turning up to work being done each time, I explained this wasn't a preference so on initial assessment we came up with a clear strategy for teeth. I have seen Dr Lucy Wall as dentist - but all the staff have a really professional approach - and it is clear they are there to take care of you. I am on Private, but I would say its worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist!! I’ve been seeing Emma McFarlane for so many years and I honestly love going to the dentist now, something I used to really hate. She is so friendly and genuine and explains exactly what’s going on throughout any procedure. For my last procedure (tooth cracked due to banana chip - nightmare) Georgia was doing the procedure also and she was so lovely too, and even through my panic really put me at ease which I was so grateful for. They are both so funny and nice and my tooth feels reborn now also. It really is such a lovely practice, and the manager of the practice is amazing too, she’s always been there since I was at school about 15 years ago and she’s so lovely, and professional too. The Hygienists are also really great and informative each time. Thank you! From me and my teeth :)

Following previous bad experiences i was referred to the hygienist Rebecca Haynes. They have changed my outlook on going to the dentist and provided results that I considered unachievable. Fantastic experience: Longborough have given me excellent treatment over several years. This includes some replacement fillings and a capped tooth, plus regular hygiene appointments. Extremely well organized, good facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and most importantly pain free. Not cheap, but good value for money.

Negative experience: I have been a client here for 20+ years, Dentists are great but I personally find the business is not very client focused and prices are high. As a long term client (but one who has not had a checkup for a few years), with all my family using this practice, I was told I could not make an appointment without paying upfront even though my wife is currently receiving expensive treatment. We have never had any payment issues and so this attitude jarred with me as a business owner myself who has always put clients first and centre. I don't carry payment cards any longer so could not pay over the phone anyway! I thought I found a way round this by booking a "new client" appointment online, but it was cancelled because I was not able to answer my phone when they called to take an upfront payment! My family and I have had other negative experiences with the business (not the Dentists) over the years that all seem to point to the same lack of regard for the client. I will now be looking for another dentist practice who value their clients better.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rate this practice highly enough. I had to have a root canal treatment and was pretty scared as I have a low pain threshold. From the reception staff to the dental nurse to dental specialist, I received information (verbal and written), treatment, care and follow-up of the highest degree. After the first of a projected two-part treatment I have no fear of the next. The place is clean, bright, pleasant and comfortable. Once in the waiting room there is very little waiting time, equipment used seems to be the highly sophisticated and modern. Honestly? If you're looking for a recommendation, I wholeheartedly give this one 10/10

I have received the best possible care and attention to detail was given at every appointment. Every member of the Reception team, all of the nurses and all dental practitioners that took care of me were so caring and gentle and after the first appointment I was actually looking forward to the next visits. All of the specialists are superbly skilled. They all showed incredible level of expertise in their individual fields. I would like to thank dr William and dr Mohamed, lovely Michelle and Georgia, Dawn at Reception but most of all dr Lucy, she is my favourite!

Negative experience: Having been a patient for 40 years I was shocked with how me leaving the practice was dealt with. I had to have 2 crowns fitted and realised that after paying £1600 to have the treatment, my Denplan cover was not adequate. I asked to upgrade, so that any future dental work would be covered and was told that they could not offer this. This prompted me to go to the Wathen Road Dental Practice who were able to offer an appropriate Denplan cover. After my assessment at Wathen Road, I was advised by them to still attend my booked 6 monthly check up and hygienist appointment at Longborough as I was still under their care with my Denplan cover. Imagine my shock when I attended, explained that I reluctantly had to leave because they couldn’t cover me for the level I needed and I was giving a month’s notice, they said that they couldn’t treat me as part of the plan unless I continued to pay for another 6 months, and if I wanted to continue with the appointment I had to pay £165!! Needless to say I did not take them up on the offer! Wathen Road Dental Practice were extremely surprised by this reaction, and said they had never heard of this happening before. So after being a patient for 40 years and paying into an insurance plan for many years and never having had to have any major dental work before, I did not expect to be treated like this - it was a huge disappointment. Any new patient thinking about signing up to Longborough, be aware that your Denplan cover there is only the very basic - just hope and pray you don’t need anything major done!

September 2nd 2019. have just been for a double tooth to be extracted - can only say it was very professional. Not an easy extraction for the Dentist as the tooth had broken some weeks ago. The injections were extremely good and absolutely no pain was experienced during the extraction. Two Days later, and the mouth is healing well by following the written instructions for 'after care'. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: From when you first walk through the door you are greeted by a friendly and efficient team. The ladies on reception are always very helpful and will do whatever they can to assist. The hygienist I have, Iwona is always so comforting and friendly and makes the experience so much more pleasant that I have had at other dental practises in the past. My dentist, Lucy is so easy to talk to and is able to answer any questions I may have. She is also very good at making me feel at ease. I couldn’t ask for a better dentist.

Fantastic experience: Came from a different Dorking practice after a frosty receptionist and long waiting lists (end of NOVEMBER hygienist appointment!) put me off. Longborough had lovely receptionists and the dentist was fantastic. I loved the technology used , too, so I could be shown in real time what needed to be done with the camera etc. I was booked in for my appointment 5 days later. Fantastic.

I'm also an extremely nervous patient, despite working in the dental industry for years. What a dream team of empathetic support I recieved from the Longborough Dental team! Michelle who took my tearful call, Dawn on reception who greeted me and calmed me down, Becky who nursed, held my hand and supported me through the procedure and then Emma, who is so skilled I didn't even feel the injection, this team all so utterly amazing. I'm very grateful that I have a new tooth and I'm free to eat without pain. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I've never had a bad experience at Longborough; the treatment and advice I've been given for the past few years has always been excellent and has genuinely improved my oral health to a high standard. On top of that, I've always been accommodated when I couldn't make a previously-arranged appointment. The staff, from reception through to hygienists, dentists and periodontists, have always been very friendly, helpfuly, and kind. The premises and equipment are immaculate. There really isn't anything I can fault.

Negative experience: V disappointed. Recieved a letter today telling me my 16 year old son had been struck off their patent list as apparently they'd not heard from us. We've not been contacted by them before this letter and he'd been a patient since he'd been small. . . His sister is still a patient with them. ... evenso the only way they will see him now is if he pays privately for treatment.

I phoned up as a new patient as I had dental pain, and they were able to fit me in on the same morning. Emma found that I had a loose filling which needed replacing, and made time to do this in the same appointment to save me having to come back another time. Emma, the nurses and receptionists were all really friendly and welcoming, and Emma took the time to talk about other dental recommendations for future, as well as dealing with the issue I came in for. I was so grateful to all the team for fitting me in and dealing with my issue so promptly. I’m so relieved to have found a trustworthy and accommodating dental practice after having some bad experiences in the past, so thank you!
