Fantastic experience: I came in with a severe toothache and was really anxious, but Dentist Antara and Nurse Alanah immediately put me at ease. They explained everything clearly and walked me through the treatment step by step. The care was gentle, professional, and incredibly effective — I felt a huge relief after just one visit. Antra and Alanah both were very welcoming and kind making the experience as comfortable as possible. Antra is highly experienced, quickly identified the problem, and promptly began the appropriate treatment I’m so grateful for their care and would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist who truly cares.

Fantastic experience: This was a great first visit and really gave me confidence. Really friendly reception staff and pleasant surroundings after a very easy car parking experience. The dentist Antara and her nurse colleague Milly were fantastic. Gentle and efficient with really clear explanations across a range of treatments including examination, x-Rays and scanning. Really clear explanations and genuine interest in ensuring I chose the right treatment pathway without any pressure at all. I’ve got all my treatments booked and am not anxious about next visits. Negative experience: 24/11/2023 Can I have my deposit back that you owe me for my Hygiene clean that I gave you enough time when I cancelled (10/05/2023 the appointment with (Adele) I gave the deposit to (Laura Cottey Practice Manager)? who still has my deposit at reception of £? or has it disappeared in the money department ? or is it with Bupa? or in the kitty? Is this a Private? or National Health Dental Practice? I saw Satya Chandolu 02/05/2023 but I didn't get a proper consultation from her... I do hope her Hygiene Dental standards have improved or has she left Bupa Dental Care Avoid this terrible practice!

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined The Bupa dentist surgery at Chelmsford and I am very fortunate to have Antara as my dentist. I have had several different procedures, and I have always found her to be very welcoming, caring and friendly. On several occasions I have arrived in pain, because of a tooth problem, and she has always put me at ease and calmly explained the treatment options in clear detail. She goes out of her way to offer good advice and reassurance. Antara is wonderful, very professional and highly recommended.

Not only did they get me a super quick appointment, they ensured that I had a smooth experience from the moment I entered the clinic. Dr. Rimandeep quickly figured out why I was in pain, she told me what to do and what not to do to ensure I recover quickly and in the space of a couple of days my pain is resolved! Fantastic experience: As a family we’ve been going to Bupa Dental Chelmsford for years, and I can’t thank Satya and Rachel enough for their care and patience—especially with my 9-year-old daughter. My daughter has had a tough time with her teeth being so tight, leading to numerous fillings. Dental visits have always been an emotional experience for her, and in the past, she would cry (scream) and struggle through appointments. Satya has been incredibly understanding, comforting, and patient every step of the way. She has always taken the time to reassure my daughter, giving her the extra time she needs to feel comfortable. Thanks to Satya’s kindness and encouragement, every visit has become a little easier, and today, after her appointment, my daughter said, “It went really quick, and I’m glad she didn’t use the picker, but it feels like sand.” If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares, I can’t recommend Satya and the team at Bupa Dental Chelmsford enough!

Fantastic experience: Excellent care today. I broke my tooth this morning on a baguette (apparently bread is a common cause of breaking teeth!). Called BUPA and was answered quickly, and due to a holiday tomorrow got an appointment 4 hours later. Excellent care from Sofia and Stacey and the tooth was duly fixed. What I really liked was the time taken and the fact that the tooth was repaired without needing any additional sanding or filing.

Fantastic experience: Always a good experience with Murray and Megan. my daughters quite enjoy their trips to the dentist. Always a 10/10 service

Negative experience: I had an appointment in the diary months in advance but wasn't told a deposit was needed and they require payment in advance of the appointment, so they cancelled without asking me. When I called to ask if I could keep the appointment they demanded payment immediately, which is really inconvenient as I was busy and unable to. I also wasn't told what the deposit amount was. I was quite shocked that I was spoken to quite rudely and I wasn't really told why I had to pay in advance other than it was a private appointment. It's not a very customer-friendly or flexible system, and I felt I received no support or explanation, plus felt very judged when I asked if it was possible to wait until payday week or pay on the appointment day. A degree of empathy for customers is needed.

She was very friendly and understanding of my fears etc and booked me to see someone who she thought would be a good fit for me. Which she was right. I needed quite a bit of work done which I never once felt judged by my dentist for this. Need to book in my check up but don’t feel anxious about doing this.

Fantastic experience: Visiting the dentist was always a fear for myself. Something I always tend to avoid, due to the anxiety caused. But my whole overview of visiting a dentist has changed after my last visit to this amazing practise, this is not only a dentist practise this is a place where you can see everyone enjoys working, from bright smiles of the receptionists to comforting dentists and helpful nurses. I especially want to make a shout out to Dr Rimandeep, her skills and her comforting towards her patients seems remarkable, not only was I getting a pain free treatment I was also getting a guide on how to look after my teeth in certain ways in the future to avoid these issues reappearing, I can now say I’m not anxious about visiting the dentists and I am sure to be visiting regular.

Fantastic experience: Satya and Rachel I had two broken teeth and expected to lose them both. Satya has done an excellent job in recovering these teeth. On was built up by a filling and the other a crown. All done painless. This is a dentist that really does her very best for you. She is the only dentist I have encountered where I don’t sit in the dental chair gripping the sides. I can relax and more important I can now smile.
