Fantastic experience: I have nothing but positive words to say about this practice and all the staff that work here! They make every visit such a breeze and are amazing are putting those with dentist-anxiety at ease. Couldn’t recommend anymore highly!

Fantastic experience: I recently attended this dentist for a tooth extraction with sedation and am so happy with the care I received. I am pretty anxious when it comes to dental treatment but Martin and the team were incredible and put me at ease straight away. The after care was also great!

Fantastic experience: I have had the worst experience with Private dentists in the past year. I have been so incredibly lucky to find this practice. The reception team are simply amazing, from my first call with Levi who took so much time and care to explain all my options and help me as much as he could. Nothing was a problem and he was more than happy to help with all my questions. I then saw Vishaal and I have been blown away by the high level of care i have received. I’ve had extractions today and again the whole process was so smooth, I am incredibly anxious and I cannot thank this practice and their amazing staff for genuinely putting the care of their patients first. Genuinely so pleased I have found this place.

Negative experience: I feel very let down to discover that my daughter has been dropped as an NHS patient by the practice after being a patient with them since she was very young. Following the Covid pandemic I contacted the surgery repeatedly to request dental check ups and was told ‘not to contact them and that they’d contact me when they were available to patients’. I followed this request but did ask again in person at reception when my daughter started orthodontic treatment with the surgery, I was given the same message. My daughter has just finished her orthodontic treatment and asked again for a dental check up appointment only to be told she’d been removed from the NHS list and would have to have a private appointment (at a cost of £95). I am very disappointed by this as we had been happy with the surgery and had followed their advice. We were not contacted at any point to let us know that we would be or had been removed.

Negative experience: Absolutely Shameful. ⛔ ⚠️⛔Money Grabbing Private Sector, capitalists... Paid a large amount of money for substandard Dental work (and I mean a large amount of money!) Told to book an appointment to follow up on treatment, only to be told.. Yep, you guessed... It's gonna cost me more money... No, Aftercare is not part of the initial cost. Each visit is about MONEY and not included.... Fantastic experience: Noticed that one of my molars were slightly chipped on the weekend and I tried my usual dentist but couldn't get through to them. Decided to try MyDentist, although I had to pay a bookings fee £75 over the phone, I called on the day and they had availability on the day to be seen. Didn't expect to be treated so soon for my issue so quickly for my chipped tooth. They did the procedure and it lasted around 15-20 minutes and I was done. Staff were polite and my dentist was informative on any other issues I have to be addressed for future visits. Overall I'm happy with the result, and despite it being private, you will get the treatment you need.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for years now, and Sorinela has been and continues to be an amazing, kind and brilliant dentist. Today I came for sedation treatment for an extraction. I don't remember the experience but my chaperone informs me that I told Milly I would give her a positive google review for being so kind! So here it is! I believe Martin was the dentist, he was also very kind and I'm very grateful to the practice for the excellent care I've always received

Fantastic experience: My son was referred to Barrack street dentist when he was 10y/0, thats 7 years we've been visiting Michael Linehan and he has been absolutely fantastic with my son. He has given so much time and support throughout the brace process and we cannot thank him enough for all he has done! It truly is amazing what can be achieved. Thankyou Michael!

Fantastic experience: Bala and Poppy were amazing of treating my gum and for that they deserve 5 stars.

Negative experience: Called up today to find out I'm not longer a patient and been archived. No emails, texts or letters in the post. Called so many times and told only do emergency only and gave up trying. Now the only options to be a private patient only. Feel so disappointed with Mydentist. Feels a real con by them as it's so had to find a NHS dentist any more.

Negative experience: My sons appointment time for braces to be fitted was changed via text msg from 11.15 to 11.35.. we arrived 10mins before the appointment and were told we were to late to be seen as our appointment was at 11.15. The only next available appointment now was 24th October. All they could offer me was an apology for the error in the text message system.. my son is nearly 18 and has waited 5 years for his braces now to be sent home again with out them after being messed around for the third time by “My Dentist” missed of the system, lost x-rays, unorganised equipment and paperwork, reception never answering the phone!!!! More time missed from work and college!

Fantastic experience: I recently had an emergency dentist appointment, and I’m so glad I did. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Sorinela was very reassuring and explained everything clearly and explained what needed to be done. I appreciated how reliable they were—everything went smoothly. They made a stressful situation much easier for me!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dental practice, all the staff are so kind and professional. A special thank you to Vishaal for doing the little things to keep me calm during my tooth extraction, the music really helped! Negative experience: Unfortunately both my daughters have had considerable issues since their Dental work was done & now do not want to return as they are worried about paying more to sacrifice more teeth. RIP NHS we miss you.

Fantastic experience: I had a full mouth extraction and dentures. Eleni my dentist was very thorough with her explanations, she answered all my questions and although the 14 extractions were unpleasant she was quick and efficient. I am very happy with my new smile the dentures look natural. Great.

Negative experience: Decent practice and have had no issues regarding the quality of work the dentists and hygienists have provided. However, extremely disappointing to have my appointment cancelled as a private patient and was told to make a new appointment by phone (instead of saving me the time and offering a new appointment). With the phone wait times taking over 3 hours in my experience, this is very frustrating to deal with.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say Martin is the kindest dentist Iv ever met, I am such a anxious patient in the dentist and he has seen me couple of times with a plan going forward, which we now have booked, obviously I’m still scared but the care and compassion that man has means so much to me, we got impressions done today as he sprung that on me and that was the best thing he could do just so I didn’t have to worry again. And I will be seeing him in two weeks time to carry on with the treatment plan. I just wish he was my full time dentist as he has so much patience and understanding x

Fantastic experience: I had booked an appointment to remove a molar which was decaying, I've had a molar removed before and it's not a particularly pleasant experience, molars are very reluctant to vacate your mouth and appear to deliberately make the process as difficult as possible. My dentist on the day was Losif and after an examination he informed me that two molars required removal. Much to my surprise the complete process was quick and pain free, one of the molars was cracked but even this didn't present a problem. I was expecting some pain or discomfort after the anaesthetic wore off but there was none. I'm very happy with the work Losif did and would highly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I have always been terrified of dentist, I had some major issues with my teeth and didn’t know which way to turn. I can honestly say that Taruna Arora has been amazing and painlessly solved all my issues with my teeth. I cannot recommend her high enough she made the process as pleasurable as it could be and I’m so happy with my new smile !

Negative experience: I am a NHS patient and have been coming here since it opened until yesterday when I tried to book appointment only to be told it would be £62 for a check up because all the dentist have gone private apart from 2 dentists which only see there there own patients also told I can’t see one of the nhs dentists which I think is very wrong.

Fantastic experience: My Mum saw Vito and the nurse today and was quite concerned about her treatment following previous experiences. However, Vito and the nurse listened with kindness to my Mum. My Mum says that “Vito helped me to make a choice about my treatment and he restored my confidence in seeing the hygienist. Thank you.”

Fantastic experience: All reception personnel are efficient, polite and helpful, my dentist Taruna is a lovely lady, very gentle and reassuring and I have had many compliments about her work, the ladies who work with her are also very lovely and look after you well.

Positive experience: My dentist was great! Very professional and kind, he explained thing thoroughly and made a plan for future appointments then and there. I only gave three stars as they had to cancel my appointment, which is fair enough, but the problem is they did not inform me. I only heard about the cancellation when I got to the practice. I had to take time off work to get there in the afternoon and was informed that they had cancelled it already in the morning. I had gotten two reminder messages every day for a week from the practice about my appointment but no message/phone call/email that it was cancelled. If I had known I could have stayed at work, not having to drive to the city for nothing. Also the past two times I've been to the practice I've had to wait for a long time at reception as they've been busy with phone calls, they make you wait while taking new calls and don't attend you until the phones are quiet. This can take a long time so make sure you go early before your appointment.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Bala Choudry for hygiene appointments for the last 2 years. She is so kind and patient at every appointment. She understands that the process can be uncomfortable and stressful for people and takes time to allow you to take a break if you need to. I often feel claustrophobic and anxious when people get close to my face. Bala is always understanding and reassuring. Fantastic experience: Iosif has been looking after my teeth for several years so when he moved to Barrack Street, I quickly followed suit. It’s easy to see why he moved here as it’s a great atmosphere with all the staff providing fantastic hospitality and genuinely pleased to help. I still remember the first day seeing Iosif- I hadn’t been to the dentist for 8 years so was worried about the state my teeth were in. He made me feel instantly comfortable and I didn’t feel judged at all. He always gives great advice and I’ve never felt any pain or discomfort during any treatment. Of special note is the exceptional tooth reconstruction he did on my broken front tooth. It looks exactly like my natural tooth, even 3 years on - my new hygienist didn’t even notice it! Negative experience: After contacting online regarding availability at another branch (Wymondham with the service just as poor), I was then referred to this MyDentist branch only to be basically told I was lying about what I had originally requested and that "any website could tell me they are at capacity" yet the NHS website clearly said currently accepting new NHS patients seconds prior to me contacting them. Incredibly poor service and communication skills, I'd avoid like the plague.

Positive experience: My hygienist Bala and nurse Lucy are always lovely and kind and have helped me to stabilize potential gum disease.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction by Mr.Vishaal and I can't rate him and his assistant enough the where brilliant. Explained every to me, made me feel comfortable and the most important bit, Mr. Vishaal took my incredibly painful tooth out and I can already feel the difference. It was something I had put off partly because I was worried about the price but at the end I was surprised at how cheap it was, especially for how good the service was. I can't recommend the enough, I only wish I'd have it take out sooner. Thank you so much Mydentist.

Fantastic experience: Recently, I had a harrowing experience when I woke up one morning to find that the cap on my front tooth had chipped. Seeing myself in the mirror with a chipped tooth was very upsetting. I sought an urgent consultation with Mydentist, and Dr. Taruna was incredibly accommodating, fitting me in at very short notice despite her busy schedule. From the moment I walked into Mydentist clinic, I was treated very well. The receptionist, Ali , was very kind and showed me where to go. Dr. Taruna was reassuring and put me at ease. Negative experience: Been trying to call them, at the moment I am on hold and I’ve been number 1 in a call queue for the last 40min, absolutely ridiculous. Also my emails have been ignored for over a month, hence why I have to call them now. It’s as if they’re ignoring on purpose.

Negative experience: The receptionist was rude and previously I had been deliberately hit by a door by a dental nurse in front of witnesses. She told me I mustn’t take photos when I never mentioned taking photos and anyway if a crimes in progress I have the right to do that, which I didn’t mention and wouldn’t. Unfortunately although hate crime is a crime it’s hard to shake off. Thanks for your judgement call. ONE did decide to remove my child and myself because it is clearly unsafe to stay with your practice. I didn’t know you were able to legally look patients up on the basis of a review and with your zero permission but we definitely will be seeking private health care, and hope the NHS will be privately owned in the future, to stop some of the illegal practices your able to get away with.

Fantastic experience: I'm petrified of the dentist and had my tooth out today, the dentist I saw was amazing and the dental nurse with her was amazing too, she held my hand and her and the dentist where checking to see if I was OK and telling me everything they where doing I give a 5 star rating ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my teeth straightening treatment and I am totally amazed at the transformation in a year. At 56 I didn't think it was possible to correct my very crooked teeth but I was wrong. Wow! Miguel and his staff, particularly Carys, have made the journey a very pleasant and positive experience. Everything was explained fully and my expectations were blown out of the water. Can't thank you enough. If you're thinking of having this treatment, make an appointment, it really will change your life!

Fantastic experience: Firstly, we must go back to fully funding dentists for NHS work as I understand it. Going private was my only option with the NHS crisis going on. I do qualify for free treatment however. Oyvind and his assistant did a great job extracting my damaged and crumbling tooth with minimal pain or after-pain today. He’s very calm and easy going which put me at ease. He had it extracted in no time. I walked away with a dental plan in mind and hopeful about my situation for the first time in years, it was well worth it. A sufficient number of receptionists even when it’s very busy they see you quickly.

Fantastic experience: Despite the glaring lack of NHS dentists the ones that are left are wonderful - Sorinela is just delightful , she is an asset to the branch and may I add give the current climate a foreign national who we are very lucky came to our “little” Britain to provide the skill and patient care in dentistry . Negative experience: The actual dentist I saw here was good, but the reception staff are clearly too overrun to keep track of what's going on. Impossible to get through on the phone, no reply when you leave a message, occasional response from the online form but only a week or two after you've submitted it, extensive waits for any kind of appointment and when you go in you'll be repeating your details half a dozen times because the presumably quite stressed people behind the counter can't remember what you said to them 30 seconds ago. At one point was told no appointments for 4 months, then when I explained I was supposed to be getting seen here prior to a referral appointment elsewhere they suddenly found two appointments that week that supposedly hadn't existed ten seconds prior. Switched to a different dental practice and the service is 1000% better

Negative experience: RUDE AND INCONSISTENT STAFF!!!!!! If you have anything wrong they tell you off as if you've been naughty at school when in fact the problem is not to do with poor brushing. My partner basically just got slagged off for her whole treatment. There's also inconsistent info given to you. The dentist at first said we must use mouthwash to maximise the cleaning and anti bacteria. The hygienist today said mouthwash "must not ever be used" as weakens the enamel. Which one is it The hygienist seemed angry we used mouthwash despite being advised before by the dentist. I'm surprised we weren't told to sit on the naughty step

Negative experience: Disgusting service. Cancelled 2 appointments with me in covid, left me with a half done root canal for over 2 years and then kicked me off their NHS and I had to find another dentist to finish their work when I ended up with a terrible infection. Removed my son for not visiting for a check up for 2 years - Yep that 2 years they refused to see patients during covid and cancelled his appointments. Oh but they will fit him in for £90 and other private fees. So happy to leave him in pain unless he pays them privately despite his lack of attendance vwinf their fault. Don't care about patients, just money and happy to let people suffer despite it being them cancelling people's appointments and then have the audacity to says they removed because on non-attendance!

Fantastic experience: Not having seen a Dentist for 4 years,( lockdowns etc.), I booked an appointment with Mydentist, Barrack St. The first thing I noticed was how friendly all the staff are. They were excellent in their attention to my needs and offered me some much needed advice. Not many people look forward to seeing the Dentist but every visit is an improvement for the patient. To be greeted with such warmth and smiles is an added bonus. Thanks to you all. Chris.

Negative experience: Like many reviews we were assigned a dentist who had then decided to go private Told we would have to go privately as there is no option of being reassigned another nhs dentsist as they wernt adding any more names to the nhs waiting list as it was over 2 years long but its ok they offer a finance package would only cost me £60/month. I understand the shortages of nhs dentist but to only offer private treatment for my children is disgusting

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment today with Taruna! I had major anxiety/ fear of the dentist. From the first minute she was very reassuring and talked me through the procedure. During the treatment she constantly checked if I was okay and just made the whole experience so much better. Thank you so much Taruna!

Fantastic experience: The implant team at this practice cannot be faulted. After the first consultation it was decided that I needed 3 implants, one at the front and one each side close to the front, needed to have 2 roots removed and bone graft done and one implant fitted all at the same time, all at the top and all relatively at the front. Was in the chair approx hour, thought I was going to wake up the following day with bruising, swelling and in pain, but nothing, had 12 stitches no pain, no swelling and no bruising, and the excellent treatment continued throughout from start to finish, which was a year, but worth every penny and every appointment. I also had a root camel replaced and replacement crown again at the front. The end result is amazing and completely changed my smile and confidence. Thanks to James and the implant team 1st class

Negative experience: I had an extremely frustrating experience with this company. I waited over an hour, and no one picked up my call. Their lack of responsibility and professionalism is astonishing. The customer engagement is absolutely terrible. Avoid their services at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Hygienist Laura and nurse Lauren are absolutely amazing. They are reassuring and were very gentle. My fear of this procedure is completely alleviated.

Negative experience: Refused to continue treatment plan after going through with 70% of the work and full payment. Then removed me from the NHS patient without consulting me. Now suffered 18months with anxiety and depression and losing weight because I can't eat properly. Would give zero stars but unable. AVOID!!

Negative experience: Dentists here are good and friendly, but the organisation brings it down. Lack of communication, delayed appointments (40 minute wait) service levels for NHS treatment vary immensely (was unable to get an appointment for four years) despite enquiring multiple times. Unfortunate as was a really good dentists previously.

Fantastic experience: Recently I had work done on my teeth, the results are amazing! Mydentist is such a good dentist, they got me in quickly and assisted to my needs no problem, not very expensive either compared to other dentists I've attended to. Friendly staff also , they always make me feel happy, welcome and comfortable each time of my previous appointments.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient at this practice and have already had a superb experience, my dentist Vishaal & my Hygienist Sara have both been very kind, professional & informative. I also want to extend my gratitude to the receptionists, assistants & all the other staff there, they have been both brilliant & polite.

Positive experience: My appointment was coming up @My dentist barrack street Norwich, and as always I feel anxious, it's not the staff or the location just the unknowns. But rest assured once I was welcomed and sitting comfortably my dental practitioner made me relaxed and at ease. I was explained the needs and why's of my treatment of which seemed practical and logical. The treatment took place and a continual reassuring voice was everpresent. Due care and attention by the staff was always evident and a fantastic outcome was to follow. As my dental work concluded, I was further comforted with my aftercare schedule. I was indeed happy with the resulting work. Furthermore I would also like to give praise to the continuel hard work of the reception staff. Negative experience: Having being a client with the practice for over 10 years, I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt when service has been poor but service has only gotten worse over the years. The practice gave me a NHS appointment for my child for A YEARS time. They then cancelled the appointment a few weeks before it was due and trying to get through to them to reschedule is impossible. Everytime I try the time I have been on hold has been hours, the final straw being when they hung up on me (1st in the queue at this point) after over 2 hours on hold because they had closed. I myself have not been able to get a NHS appointment since covid, even when pregnant as there is nothing available. They are more than happy to give me an appointment however if I am willing to pay for the hygienist. Which I have been seeing for the last few years. Money grabbing and consistently useless. I would recommend getting on the waiting list for anywhere else, even if it it means driving out of your area, atleast you will actually get seen.

Fantastic experience: I had a deep clean with Bala and she has been such a comfort and massive help with my dental hygiene. She listened to me and is always so kind throughout every procedure. I cannot thank her enough.

Negative experience: Me and my family have been registered with them for years (Always paying for treatments). Always going there every 4 months or 6 months depending on the dentist suggestion until Covid striked and they have eliminated us from their NHS list. Today needed an emergency appointment and as stated on NHS website and after waiting for 45 minutes on a call queue. I have been refused NHS EMERGENCY TREATMENT with excuses that they are fully booked until 2026 but if I was willing to go private I would be able to get an appointment for £99.

Negative experience: They never answer the phone - same queue position after 30 minutes of holding, long appointment wait times, late being seen even after paying £65 for a private check up having been deregistered from their NHS list (and being lied to about it) and finally taking deposits you then have to fight to get back when you book elsewhere. Will not be returning.

Negative experience: After almost dying in hospital after dental work at this practice, missed infection, rushed into A&E for an urgent oral operation. Sepsis and all. Would not recommend this practice. Thanks for giving me a lifelong fear of dentists

Fantastic experience: Huge thank you to Bala and Anna today. Have been a patient with Bala for a while now to prevent any damage to my teeth. Each time they are considerate, empathetic and always have time to answer any of my questions. I never leave their appointment room with concerns at all. And even better, I get to leave with beautifully clean teeth! Thank you both so much, see you in 6 months!

Fantastic experience: My dentist Taruna Arora and her assistant are just the loveliest, they make you feel so comfortable, are always checking in, and are very non judgemental yet informative at the same time. They remember personal details about me and ask about my family by name and it really makes you feel like they care about you and your health, not to mention she’s wonderful with my 1 year old

Fantastic experience: My dentist St James. I finished my implant procedure in December, I am so pleased with the result, I had a back tooth implant and the result is amazing. The whole team were brilliant. Every part of procedure was explained in detail to me, I felt I was in safe hands the whole way through. I was treated so well, and I highly recommend this friendly and very caring team. I don't think I can mention people by name, but as I have said the whole team are brilliant.
