Fantastic experience: The main reason is because the receptionist team are very nice & efficient. They give you a warm welcome as soon as you walk in. My main hygienist was great,she did everything meticulously and gave me some additional tools and guidance to help me brush my teeth better twice each day. Finally a big thank you receptionist Teita, she was very professional & helpful with booking me in to see my hygienist and went the extra mile. Thanks all lot Teita for a great customer experience at BUPA Dental Care London Bank.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Dr Shaila and Daisy enough when it comes to working with phobic patients. I was absolutely terrified to go to the dentist after a bad experience as a child, but now feel confident to return and even spent over an hour in the chair receiving treatment. They are both calm, friendly and chatty and make you feel as though nothing is too much. Thank you so much for all your help.

Negative experience: The office is very friendly, clean and efficient. Prompt responses, the front desk is lovely and making appointments was very easy. I am giving 1 star because I was recommended an endodontric treatment here and received part of that treatment, only to have the tooth extracted completely a month later and was told by other practitioners reviewing the x-ray, that it was clearly never saveable in the first place. It is my suggestion to receive a 2nd and/or 3rd opinion before moving forward with treatments here because in my experience, it was not in the best interest of my health or wallet. Changing to 1 star after their reply below (originally gave 2 stars) as it is an even bigger red flag to me that this office continues to try to make the fact that they recommended an expensive procedure, which 2 other specialists have told me never should have been recommended, acceptable.

Teita and the reception team handled all my bookings and correspondences with a high level of professionalism, a rarity. Tracci and Richard, my dental team were extraordinary. Always friendly, made me feel comfortable and not once did I feel discomfort or pain during my treatment. The results of my treatment are receiving compliments weekly, and Richard is an absolute artist. I'll only ever have positive feedback about all the staff at this branch, and am making recommendations to family and friends to make use of their services. Fantastic experience: *Be aware of the seemingly casual “Do you work around here?” question* I've been with Bupa Bank Dental Centre for several years now, and overall, it's a very good practice. Yes, it's on the expensive side—especially for hygiene appointments—but the quality of care is generally high. I first joined with a pretty intense fear of the dentist, and I had a number of cavities due to years of avoidance. Dr. Serge Kotok has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout my time here. He's extremely patient and meticulous, taking the time to work carefully on each tooth in order to preserve it rather than going straight to more invasive solutions. His approach with anesthetics is excellent as well—always making sure I'm comfortable and pain-free during treatment. That said, the cost of the hygienist appointments became too much for me, so I stopped booking them. Be aware of the seemingly casual “Do you work around here?” question—it felt to me like a subtle way to gauge what they might be able to charge you.

Fantastic experience: I saw periodontist Chaido today for a deep root cleaning. Ayesha assisted her. Chaido was very gentle but thorough in cleaning. She explained every step that she was about to do, so that I knew what was going on. I have very sensitive teeth and gums but l didn't feel any pain. She's the best! Ayesha was very good too in assisting her. I've met Pelumi at reception a few times and he's very professional but friendly at the same time. A very well-run practice with very good staff

Positive experience: Good dentist, but expensive and very difficult to get them to answer the phone, and there’s no way to just stay on hold when you call, you have to keep pressing 1 over and over which is super annoying! I could overlook the cost given the quality and location but I’d expect customer service to be better.

Fantastic experience: I had as good and seamless an experience one can have at a dental clinic. The facility is large, very well kept and quite calm. went in hoping to schedule time to get a root canal and received outstanding and attentive care from the dentists and dental assistants with whom I met. It was quick but not rushed and felt comprehensive.

Fantastic experience: I'm currently in the midst of my Incognito braces treatment with Katarzyna at BUPA Dental Bank, and I'm thrilled with how things are going so far. Katarzyna is highly professional and an expert in the field, and she’s also incredibly kind and friendly. Every visit has been a positive experience because she takes the time to explain each step, making sure I understand and feel comfortable. My teeth are already looking so much better, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress. If looking for an orthodontist, I can't recommend Katarzyna enough!

Negative experience: VERY unpleasant experience today. Have been harassed with questions about finances and funding and asked to sign a statement about knowing the cost of next treatment. Never happened before. And I have been going there and paid on the spot for years. The place is a walk-in clinic, if they have done this to old safe and paying customers imagine if you walk in there for the first time.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this dental practice for a while now. The service is great I have never had any issues. Katarzyna is an excellent orthodontist; thorough and attentive I have nothing but praise for her. The dental nurse Henrietta is competent at what she does and offers great care. The receptionists are all very helpful; Pelumi was particularly warm and friendly. Overall a nice experience!

Fantastic experience: I have been using BUPA for a long time as they have always been reliable and excellent at dealing with my requests, especially emergencies. I had emergency treatment for a broken tooth yesterday which was dealt with excellently in an efficient and caring way. Time and effort was taken to ensure the job was well done, which it was. I have no hesitation in recommending BUPA Cornhill for all your dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank this practice enough, highly recommend if you suffer from nerves or dental phobia, I have severe dental phobia, I mean really bad to the point of fainting and completely losing control, due to a brutal dentist in my childhood resulting in me avoiding the dentist for over 25 years, but couldn’t avoid it anymore due to a poorly filled tooth eventually breaking . After much research on the internet, I came upon this practice, from the moment you walk in to reception you are met with a friendly and calming environment, you feel reassured and not rushed. They put you in the driving seat, and for that I cannot thank them enough. The care and sensitivity, previously, of Jenny Pinder and now of Shaila Patel-Buxton is second to none, they immediately sit you down in a chair, a normal nice chair, phew! not the dreaded dentist chair, and let you talk about you and your feelings, nothing is rushed, and you are made to feel comfortable and in control, you literally lead your treatment and that is just so Incredibly important when feeling so nervous that you are uncontrollably shaking and about to pass out. Shaila takes her time to understand and help you through your session, and she explains everything she’s doing and goes about her examinations and treatments so gently, but what has now got me visiting regularly and keeping all my appointments, I mean ALL!! dentist and hygiene! is the wonderful Sakina Syed, their dental hygienist, she is incredible and exemplary, so patient and calming, and talks you through all aspects of your treatment, and reassures you if you are feeling overwhelmed. She even stops treatment for the day if it’s too much, Without her sensitive care and understanding and professionalism I still wouldn’t go to the dentist and probably would have rotten stumps by now!! Shaila and Sakina work perfectly together, they are the best combination for people who are nervous or with dental phobia, I cannot recommended them highly enough, you are in safe hands with them, you are in charge and reassured and that means everything when you are so seriously nervous and anxious. UPDATE February 2025, It’s such an excellent and exceptional practice, from the warm welcome and the calming ambiance at reception, through to the friendliness, expertise and professionalism of Sakina Syed and Shaila Patel-Buxton, who have made regular dental visits for this Dental phobic, something I thought I would never achieve! It’s still amazes me, thank you, And the whole team do everything they can to put you at ease and feel in control, special mention also to Teita and Ashmeeta on reception for their friendly manner and helpfulness, I couldn’t recommend this practice highly enough, 10/10.

Great practice manager (Sarah Barber) who is incredibly helpful, attentive, and does what she can to process the right paperwork for reimbursement (which was far from straightforward). Also great doctors. Dr. John Doran was equally attentive, responsive and made for a streamlined procedure with a quick recovery.

Fantastic experience: Went to Bupa Cornhill with a severe tooth ache. All staff are really friendly. I needed a root canal so had my treatment arranged with a coordinator who was really helpful. I had to have an emergency tooth excavation in the end and the dentist Ann, fit me in as I was in a lot of pain! I was so grateful and she was lovely, talking me through what needs to be done. Alongside regular check-ups I completed Invisalign treatment with Dr Brijesh Patel who was extremely kind and patient throughout, and worked tirelessly with me to get the desired finished result for my teeth (we did whitening and composite bonding at the end). I’ve had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Brijesh - very professional, explains everything thoroughly, and happy to answer all your questions and ensures you’re happy with the result. I’ve also come to see the hygienist Nisha Jani. She has also provided a great and professional service. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience at Bupa Bank Dental Care. Fantastic experience: I went to Bupa Dental in Bank to see Sakina Syed for a few years and she was the best hygienist I'd ever had. I always found her to be kind, thorough and professional. Then I moved to the U.S. and had some very mediocre hygienist experiences. Coming back to see family in London I decided to book in to see Sakina again and she was as good as ever. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Negative experience: I pay £34 x month for BUPA insurance as a corporate fee and it’s almost at the top of the highest insurance cost. Did no need it for over a year. After a first check I was told I needed to have another visit for potential gums issues. At the time of the booking I was told that my insurance would have covered about 70% of the cost of the visit (£194 total) I paid a deposit of £50. After the visit I was told that the insurance didn’t actually cover that kind of visit (gums) and I had to pay the full amount. I did not accept and clearly explained to them what they confirmed to me at the time of the booking, but the response was that they were sorry but I had to pay the full amount. My legal advisor is now checking on this matter. Avoid Bupa insurance and Bupa in general at all cost. I have cancelled both dental and medical insurance at once after this episode. By the way in both cases it was just a visit with some recommendations on what kind of toothbrush I have to use!! Even my pharmacy could have told me that free of charge!!!!

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Dr. Brijesh Patel at Bupa Dental Care London Bank. I suffered from a hairline crack in one tooth and saw Dr. Patel for the diagnosis and fitting of a crown. Dr. Patel has been very thorough in his diagnosis and treatment. He discussed processes, potential risks and benefits clearly and honestly throughout. I felt very well informed and was involved in every decision. Dr. Patel was also extremely punctual and saw me on time at every appointment, which stood out to me. Throughout the whole treatment I felt I was in the best hands and am very happy with the result.

Fantastic experience: I had the best care I could possibly ask for at the Bupa Dental Care London Bank. The receptionists were really friendly and the space is really welcoming and clean. I had an initial consultation with Shaila Patel- Buxton and her assistant, who had a thorough examination of my teeth and created a record for me with photos and X-rays and took the time to respond to all my questions in a very detailed, clear Nd empathetic way. I then booked my hygienist appointment with Sakina Syed and her assistant Daisy, the definition of dream team! They dedicated 1 hour applying the Airflow technique, which I highly recommend and they guided me through all steps and made the whole experience so much fun and the highlight of my day! They also showed me how to use the toothbrush and how to floss and I look forward to incorporating all their recommendations and book my next consultation in 6 months. It’s the first time in my life that I look forward to visiting the dentist, thank you!

Fantastic experience: I’ll be honest, somehow slipped through the cracks and didn’t see a dentist till I was 34. Big kudos to Sakina, my dental guardian angel. I was shocked at my level of plaque build up and Sakina worked tirelessly to give my teeth a new lease. She patiently answered all my questions and made me feel totally comfy asking anything. I did my homework and chose this place, even if it meant a bit of a trek. Now, knowing I've got healthy gums and a reliable dentist, I feel like I can take on the world with a confident smile. Fantastic experience: I am really thankful to Bhav Kotecha who managed to help me and sort out emergency wisdom tooth pain. I saw other dentist at a non-Bupa practice on Sunday who said that nothing can be done. Bhav, however, managed to sort it out and got me out of pain. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend seeing David Jones here for root canal. There was a mixup with my initial consult but they managed rebook the appointment for later the same day (this was at the Moorgate clinic). He was very apologetic and understanding of the pain I was in and booked me in the next day at the Bank clinic for the root canal. The actual treatment was very easy and straightforward. He was reassuring and transparent through the entire process which really put me at ease going into it. The reception staff at Bank were also very welcoming and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Over the last number of years, I've been coming here and the treatment and welcome are excellent, second to none. I needed some challenging orthodontic work with Dr Katarzyna Proczek and implants and bridge work with Dr Ian Kelly and the information, prices, treatment, followup, and final result are top notch. On the hygienist side, I've had great results with Mohinder Sira. Beyond that the rest of the dental staff and admin and reception staff are very welcoming and efficient. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: My office is in the area therefore I come for regular checks and hygiene appointments. The dentists and staff here are very professional and helpful. I unfortunatly had a dental accident a few weeks ago, a very nice lady at the reception helped me to speak to the doctor and made an emergency appointment, so that I could have urgent treatment here. Dr John Doran and Nurse Violeta kindly fixed my issue and another lady Teita at reception was very helpful and sorted out my issuance claim. Really appreciated!

Fantastic experience: I had a problematic wisdom tooth that required removal today and Louis was nothing short of a hero! Explained everything and was incredibly reassuring and friendly. If you’re anxious at all don’t be because Louis will put you at ease immediately.
