Negative experience: I had an initial consultation and X-rays here, only to be told that because the dentist I saw (Dr. Nosheen Chowdhary) was going on annual leave for two weeks and, I could not continue my treatment with another dentist in the same practice unless I paid for a second new patient consultation and fresh X-rays. My records were already on file, yet the practice used the excuse that each dentist is “self-employed” to justify charging me again. I simply wanted to have my filling done earlier than the two-week wait to avoid further issues with my teeth, but when I raised this, Dr. Nosheen Chowdhary was incredibly rude and dismissive. I decided to go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I came here to do my teeth as it was something I was insecure about. I didn’t have a full understanding of the best course of treatment for me. Dr Nosheen came to my rescue and advised me on the option that was best for me. She was extremely patient and really grasped the image I had in my head. She recommended Invisalign and composite bonding, I couldn’t believe how beautiful and natural my teeth looked. Since I have had no stop compliments on my teeth and smile and it was the best decision I made. Thank you again Hornchurch bupa and most especially Dr Nosheen for bringing my dream smile to life

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for a number of years and cannot fault the practice. Today I had root canal with Dr Anisa and her nurse Enrietta and the whole experience was fantastic; consultation beforehand and the actual treatment. I was put at ease throughout the treatment and was told that it was a quite complex case but Anisa was able to successfully complete the root canal treatment. She was very professional and friendly throughout which helped to put me at ease. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr Anisa is by far the best dentist I have ever experienced. An independent hygienist identified issues that could soon result in me losing several teeth and I turned to Bupa Dental Care Hornchurch for help. The results delivered by Dr Anisa and Enrietta have been nothing less than an amazing transformation. After the initial very structured check up Dr Anisa carefully and transparently explained the issues found and the options available and gave me a detailed prioritised treatment plan to take away and review. The plan only required an additional 4 visits. As well as stabilising critically vulnerable teeth she also resolved 2 bite issues which were causing me significant problems and rebuilt a front tooth which before visiting Dr Anisa I was informed was not repairable. She is so gentle and skilled that throughout all the procedures I didn't experience even a hint of discomfort. In conclusion, Dr Anisa and Enrietta, thank you so much for your kind, professional and friendly attention.

I was apprehensive about have a very old (40+ years) failing front crown and a chipped front tooth replaced, but she put me right at ease from the start. Always polite, considerate and professional. 5 star customer care! The procedures were pain free and i was kept informed throughout. I must also add that she is an "artist". The quality of the "trial smile" was outstanding and she attended to my questions with clear to understand answers. No tech speak gobbledygook. Well done team, and thanks.

Fantastic experience: I've been visiting Bupa Dental Care Hornchurch for the past 3-4 years and have always found the treatment,care, and staff excellent. Arranging appointments has always been smooth and trouble-free: even the several txt reminders are very helpful. All my treatments were with the brilliant Dr Nosheen Chowdhary. I had several remedial / replacement fillings and an extraction, all of the procedures carried out with great care and skill and fully explained beforehand. I'm not the most comfortable of dental patients, but I would definitely recommend the professional care I always received from Dr Nosheen and Bupa Dental care Hornchurch.

However, the experience was not at all unpleasant as Dr Anisa Khan with nurse Enrietta made it as comfortable and pain free as possible under the circumstances. Fantastic experience: I had a failing root canal that needed urgent attention, and I was fortunate to be treated by Dr. Anisa Khan and her assistant, Enrietta. They are both not only highly professional but also exceptionally kind and welcoming from the very beginning—it was by far the best dental experience I've had, whether in France or the UK! I especially appreciated how Dr. Khan took the time to clearly explain every step of the treatment, including the associated risks and options. She made every effort to ensure the procedure could be scheduled as soon as possible and paid close attention to all my specific requests, such as travel constraints and a CBCT scan referral. Remarkably, I experienced no pain at all during the entire treatment—or afterward. It’s incredibly reassuring to know that a complete re-root canal treatment, from start to finish, can be done in under a month, which I believe is quite rare in the London area. If you're on the fence whether or not to undertake the Invisalign treatment - just go for it, the end results speak for themselves. Bupa Hornchurch has been my go to Dental Practice for almost 5 years and I am very happy with the service received to date: both Dr. Nosheen and Dental Nurses supporting her - Debbie and Valentina, are very professional and friendly. Negative experience: Bupa is an absolute disgrace. They have no idea what they're doing and are charging people extra for no reason. It’s borderline scam behavior. They claim money from the insurance and then still demand money from you directly — how is that even legal? You pay £40 in advance for an appointment, and if you can’t make it, guess what? They keep the money. No refund, no understanding, just corporate greed. It’s disgusting. This is not healthcare — this is a money-grabbing operation. No transparency, no accountability, just arrogance and exploitation.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend Dr Anisa Khan and Nurse Enrietta highly enough. I have just finished a root canal re treatment and from the first consultation to the last session, with everything in between, Anisa has been fantastic. Every step from the start was explained fully so I had a full understanding of the process and what would be done. Throughout the treatment I was checked on to make sure everything was okay and after each treatment I was given a follow up call to see how it was doing. Anisa and Enrietta both felt very professional and calming. I’m really pleased with how everything went.

Negative experience: Went in for a check up was recommended fillings. After getting the filling I had the most awful pain couldn't drink anything cold for months. They did give an emergency appointment at that point but only provided me with a toothpaste to help with pain (helped a little) but still can't chew proper due to pain. To think if I didn't make the mistake to visit bupa Hornchurch I'd have no pain . Also even with insurance it cost a lot thank god I didn't go for the invisalign then I'd be screwed. 1 star for the procedure and outcome. But the were really friendly and welcoming. No complaints about customer service

Fantastic experience: I recently had treatment to replace an old filling on an awkward tooth which had been troubling me for a while. At the Bupa Dental Surgery in Hornchurch, Dr Anisa Khan and Dental Nurse Enrietta attended to me. This was the second time I had a procedure with them, on different teeth, and although I hope not to have any problem causing me to return any time soon, they would be my first call if the situation arose. All treatments I received were with a very high degree of professionalism, everything was explained in advance, I was offered options from which I could choose and I was encouraged to ask questions if I had any. Once underway, I was kept informed as to the progress and my wellbeing/comfort level was regularly checked on. Dr Khan made me feel as engaged as I wanted to be in the procedures and at all times I felt that I was receiving first class treatment with excellent follow-up care. The calming music helped to keep me at ease and I had the impression of the treatment being shaped around me rather than me having to conform to a pre-set approach. I would happily recommend Dr Khan and Dental Nurse Enrietta to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I had smile reconstruction at this surgery by Dr. Khan. I was having a complete overhaul because my teeth had been severely damaged by a mixture of neglect and teeth grinding, compounded by the neglect of my NHS dentist. I had a lot of anxiety about the process. It wasn't so much about pain although pain was expertly managed but more to do with the possibility my bite could be messed up or that the final result would look unnatural. I shouldn't have worried many measurements were taken during the process and updated at each stage. Despite this it actually didn't take that long from start to finish. We slowed down the process due to my need to get my head round my decision. As for appearance? It has completely enhanced not only my smile but my entire face shape. My face had become shortened due to excessive wear giving me the face of someone much older. I am so happy with the work I have had done, it has been transformative both physically and mentally, it was a lot of money for me, but it was worth it. Every day I look in the mirror and see the version of me that I would've been if bad things hadn't happened. It means I can look at myself without feeling depressed. The staff were so supportive and the overall look of the end product was based on what I wanted for my outcome. I could've gone whiter or I could've gone more natural but we found the exact colour, size and shape that worked for me. This is not the result you'll get by going to Turkey and doing this cheaply. After having my crowns fitted they were so perfectly made that I only needed minor adjustment on a single tooth at my check up. My mouth feels so much more comfortable and I'm motivated to take those extra steps everyday to look after my smile because this second chance is so valuable to me. I'm grateful to all the staff there for their support and enthusiasm, I'm glad these were the people I chose to assist me in my journey.

Fantastic experience: I recently suffered from a toothache and managed to get an emergency appointment and saw a lovely dentist called Mariam and her friendly nurse Leah. After looking at the tooth they gave me all the options available and I decided to go for the root canal treatment. I booked in to see a dentist called Sara, who I have seen before for another root canal treatment I had a while back, as she has a special interest in this treatment. Who I must say was absolutely amazing in what she did, so a special thanks to you Sara. She explained the whole procedure to me very clear and happily answered any questions I had. I was quite nervous about having root canal the 1st time round but she made me feel so at ease along with her friendly nurse Kristine. So the second root canal treatment recent I was more prepared as I knew what to expect. As like last time she was very professional in what she did and got the procedure done with no problems at all. I'm currently waiting to go back and have a crown fitted on the tooth with a dentist called David, who also is very friendly and good at what he does. Overall the staff are very polite and everyone make you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. 5*s

Fantastic experience: Here is my personal experience with Dr Nosheen Chowdhary at Bupa Dental Care Gidea Park. I walked into her dental room just over 2 years ago started with a consultation appointment, Dr Nosheen gave me a honest assessment and recommendation of how she could improve my smile, she prepared a plan for me starting with approx 30 trays of Invisalign, I was advised to keep my gums healthy during this period, I kept to my hygiene plan every 3 months to ensure all goes to plan, after 12 months I completed my journey with Invisalign recommended, my teeth and smile are amazing, but we still not fully completed my journey I am now ready for my porcelain veneers to be done, Dr Nosheen is designing and preparing my porcelain veneers which I cannot wait to see the end result, I have took the sensible advice Dr Nosheen gave me and did as I was advised and never missed an appointment. I decided to go with Bupa because of how professional and experienced they are. I could of gone to Turkey to have my teeth done in a rushed and unprofessional way, for half the price without any of my original teeth left literally shaved down to pegs, the way Dr Nosheen has planned and designed the whole plan I have not had to go through any invasive procedures or shaving of my teeth, it’s certainly be a wonderful journey and priced reasonably for what actually goes into the planning and design, I can honestly say I have a Denist for life who knows my teeth as she was the one who made me smile with confidence again. Positive experience: As probably one of many, finding a dental practice is difficult and challenging when you never know the person you place your trust in when you feel vulnerable because of a toothache. I chose Bupa because of their reputation and Hornchurch because of the location. I have to say, this was the best choice made for 2025. From explaining my treatment and working with me on the plan.
